We stayed at the hotel from 21/8/20 to 29/8/20 . The hotel is in a very quiet place . Restaurants are a good 15 or 20 mins walk away from the hotel. Pack a torch as the roads are not lit very well and so you also can be seen when walking.. The beaches are close . We really like St Nicholas beach . you can get the bus to drop you near it. Its about 10 or 15 min walk off bus. there are plenty sun beds to hire and they are 8 euros for a pair with an umbrella . There is some bars and restaurants by the beach and there are water sports to do as well, The beach was clean The .sea was so calm , lovely and warm and clean. It is a sandy beach so great for children. . The rooms in the hotel are good size. had a junior suit with a sea view. My husband and i shared or room with our 12 year old son . There is not much privacy in the room . There is a fridge with a freezer box and kettle in the room and a good size balcony . Staff were great and were very helpful as this was a last minute rebooked holiday. So we didn't know much about the area. We had breakfast every day . It was lovely . Great choose of hot and cold items. Staff serve the breakfast to you because of Covid. zante town is a good bus ride away . You can get bus from outside the hotel . Worth a visit. Plenty shops, Restaurants, harbour and lovely churches.

We stayed here as a family for 9 nights at the end of May. The villa we stayed in was absolutely beautiful!! The villa was bigger than expected, as was the pool, and both were cleaned daily. The location was perfect for a quiet stay with the restaurants being literally a 5 minute walk away. I would, however, recommend hiring a car as the location is quiet, and Zante is a beautiful island with plenty to explore! Lia (the owner) was incredibly helpful and friendly, she organised our car hire and return airport transfer. She also permitted us a late check-out, so we could have a nice relaxing morning and shower prior to our return flight. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and we will be recommending Alegria Villas to friends and family!!! Perfect :) Thanks!!!!!!

A really lovely hotel in a fantastic position and approximately 20 minute drive from the airport. On first arrival you notice how wonderful the hotel surroundings and pool area are. We stayed in one of the recently refurbished rooms that was finished to a high standard. It wasn't only the room that was of a high standard, but the rest of the hotel was of an equally good standard. Hillary and her team do an absolutely amazing job of making sure sure you have a relaxing holiday. The hotel was positioned between a few brilliant beaches, some of the best I have been to in Greece, and there were a number of restaurants nearby, all of a good standard. All in all a fantastic hotel and I would definitely recommend a visit to St Nicholas and staying at the Vasilikos Beach Hotel.

The stay at Valentino apartments exceeded our expeactations. The apartment was spacious and well maintained with a lovely shady patio with table & chairs. Cleaning and change of linen/towels was very good. The lady who undertakes the cleaning tasks is an amazing workaholic! It is in a good location in walking distant to the fruit market, food shops, several tavernas and some lovely beaches. A great deal of thought has been put into the layout of the buildings and the pool area which means that guests can have privacy and there was always plenty of seating in the communal area of the pool and bar.The highlight however is the host/owner, Nana. She arranged our taxi from & to the airport and provided a wonderful buffet breakfast each morning which is unusual for apartment accommodation. Nothing was too much trouble. She recommended and arranged a fantastic day boat trip for us. She showed great concern knowing we were part of the Thomas Cook difficulties and readily agreed to allowing us to stay on at the accommodation without extra charge. She is the kindest person. I would highly recommend this accommodation and the area of Vasilikos for anyone looking for a quiet village area near several beaches for a very relaxing break. We certainly had a wonderful holiday.Thank you Nana.

We booked our holiday via Christian Tour at this hotel with around 3 months in advance just because they promoted it very well at the agency and they assured us that the hotel is renovated and all the bad reviews are not applicable anymore ( we were a group of 8 persons). Overall, the hotel is pretty small and seemed to be more like a family business, because the guy that cleans the pool or the grill is the same as the one that cooks or mows the grass. The worst thing at this hotel was the stuff, all of us felt so badly treated and I will give you some examples: 1. The waitress tried to fool us with the bill twice in a day, even if the prices were specified on the bills; 2. If you are not consuming expensive drinks from their bar they are not letting you to open the pool umbrellas, even if outside are 30+ degrees, practically they force you to consume or to leave; 3. There was no enough space for all the people in the hotel to eat so in one night we were left w/o table and we sat down at a table near the bar, at around 4-5 m from the buffet and due to the fact that we had a sea view from there they made us move the table in front of the bar( around 1-2 m); for me its still a mystery why they did that. 4. If we told them something they did not wanted to hear, they were making as they did not understand english or they were just ignoring and doing what they wanted, even if I told to the guy named Dimitri that this is not polite. 5. If we were eating dinner let’s say, if we can call it like that, we had to pay even for the water and the waitress would have come to us when we had literally food in the mouth and asked us to pay her at the moment. The second worst part was the food: we paid for demi-pension thinking that we would have at least few options but actually there were like 5-6 trays of food, for which you had to wait at least 15 minutes to be changed if finished and the taste was horrible. Only in one night we had gyros and tasted good, in the others we took salad or ate at other restaurants. The breakfast was even worst, we ate only bread and butter for 7 days in a row and in the days when we got some cake we felt very lucky. The third part of our terrible experience was when we tried to go to the sea we saw in the pictures and walked by around 10 min. The hotel does not have a private beach as we understood from the pictures, or one at around 300 m. The closest one is at almost 30 min walk and when we asked at the reception about that they told that it was mentioned 300 m until the sea, from there to the beaches you had to walk extra. The only good parts at this hotel was the view and the cleaning lady who did a good job during our staying. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone, the stuff should change their job - maybe at a security company because I felt like my chewing was counted. Horrible experience, very disappointed!

We had researched this hotel on TripAdvisor before booking and we were not disappointed! The room was spacious and clean, with a fantastic view from the balcony. The mosquito screens were useful and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with a big variety of delicious local food. Variety was introduced to the breakfast each day which added interest too.For example, different types of fruit and even home made cakes. All areas of the hotel were clean and well presented. The pool was lovely, never crowded despite the hotel being full. Comfortable sun loungers always available. We particularly liked the visiting swallows who could be seen near the pool every day. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and polite, including the bar staff, breakfast staff, cleaners and gardener. Management very very helpful, arranging taxis, trips and even printing out boarding passes for us. Although most guests hired a car, we decided that we wanted full relaxation so avoided this. Instead, we used the hotel shuttle service to get to the lovely local beach. (You can ask for a lift there at 10am or 1pm and the extremely friendly and reliable driver collects you back at 5.) To explore the island, we used organised trips, available at reception. These actually worked out cheaper than hiring a car and then catching boats independently.(Ours were 30 euros each) There is a good restaurant on site and a shop nearby. Also a nice Taverna called The Windmill 5 minutes away. Eco wise, we would be happy to manage without plastic straws in drinks. We can't wait to return to this beautiful hotel!

we had a studio with sea view and they were lovely views. Room was clean and basic but for the price you pay for a room that is fine. Rooms cleaned daily and sheets 2nd days. We ate at the restaurant couple of times chef was lovely and good fun. We like to try all other places to eat so this why we only ate there a couple of times. but what we had was ok we mainly had drinks in the taverna. The owner does speak and understand English but if you speak slowly the gets it he spoke to us in perfect English. The area is quiet but accessible to argassi and beyond and the banana beach. We had a car to travel around but buses were frequent and stop outside. We would stay here a gain in the future. We have stayed in much more exoensive places on Zante this was the cheapest and by far my favourite place we stayed

7 days of relaxation with my wife in a beautiful location. From 6 September 2020 to 13 September 2020. Excellent hotel staff even in times of SARS - Cov2. Our age: 66 and 65. Traveled enough around the world. The hotel is perhaps the only one that directly overlooks the immense beach that runs from Kalamaki to Laganas. It was probably built before the whole area became a protected marine reserve (Caretta turtles). Then direct access to the sea, beach equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas (be careful not to walk over the brood of turtle eggs duly fenced and protected). Splendid sea: practically a borderless salt water pool with no (or almost) wave movement in the period indicated above. Real water temperature (the best of the Greek islands visited so far). Very transparent and gently sloping sandy bottom. No motor boats allowed in the sea (protected marine park). To return to the hotel: perfect cleanliness, excellent food, abundant continental breakfast (in times of SARS - CoV2 it takes a little more time and patience to be served in order to respect, rightly, all the protection measures to protect the staff and also for our protection). We had chosen bed and breakfast. But we also used the excellent restaurant for dinner. The evening dedicated to the grill is recommended. Great outdoor hotel bar next to the relaxing pool. Nice people at the reception: efficient, courteous and they didn't even charge me a surcharge for the "late check out". But don't tell the owner of the hotel. Here I stop. What can I say ... recommended to everyone. I would go back immediately. The only drawback not attributable to the hotel: not even the shadow of loggerhead turtles. They appear to be on the opposite island of Kalonisi. Yeah, but the eggs come and lay them on the hotel beach. I haven't seen a single one. That they come on purpose when I'm sleeping to spite me?

It’s very close to the small town of Zakynthos, but with Shipwreck Bay in the northernmost part of the island and in the southernmost part. There is a swimming pool. Basically, all foreigners stay in. The breakfast is also very good. They are eaten by foreigners, but the Chinese stomach can barely eat it.

A wonderful find. Booked on Airbnb, and from the start the communication with the excellent host, Nikos, was superb. The villa itself was smart, clean and tidy with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was about a 15 minute walk to the beach in one direction and about 20 minutes to the port in the other. It was good to be a little more remote and away from the main "resorts". We hired a car for a few days to get a feel of the island, and that just made us appreciate the spot we had with our villa even more. A friendly "supermarket" was just a couple of hundred yards down the road, and a an excellent messe restaurant just a little further. The sea is crystal clear and warm. I can't believe I hadn't been to Greece before - the country, the people, the food - simply wonderful. Thank you Nikos. I look forward to coming back again soon.

The appearance of the hotel is good, the service attitude is poor, give me a room that is too small for my suitcase to be flat. I went to the front desk and asked for a room change. I also gave me a room with eight air-conditioning hosts outside the balcony. The noise is very big, I gave it to Ctrip, indicating that I will change the room for me. I went to the front desk to borrow needles, or the woman said no, and another woman gave me a box of needles. The old woman at the front desk had a bad attitude. It is recommended to prepare a careful consideration for this hotel. The bed in the room is placed against the wall, which is inconvenient. The bedside table is a magazine-sized wooden board nailed to the wall. This is the worst value for money hotel during the 20-day trip. More than 900 can have other Better choice

Chose this accommodation after all the reviews of the place and it does not disappoint. We went with love holidays and it was very simple to book and everything went well. The airport was very quick in Zante, we had self-booked a hire car but because we didn't have a credit card they wouldn't give it to us - so cancelled that and paid a Taxi only 28 Euros to take us to Limni. The apartments are very basic, we didn't have pans or a tea-towel etc but just ask Georgios and it was no problem. Our towels were changed daily and the bedding a couple of times. The apartment could do with some TLC and the balconies didn't offer the privacy I would prefer but we got on well with the neighbours so was ok in the end. The only thing we didn't really like was the mattress, this was too hard for us, although other guests said they preferred that. The AirCon is free fantastic and will only work when the patio doors are closed. The beach is lovely, some areas sandy others had some rocks and if you follow the cove around you can find some private areas off the rocks which were great for snorkelling. Take care to wear sandals as we saw a number of sea urchins around the submerged rocks. We hired a boat and went to turtle island and up the coast; this was great cost 80 Euros for 4 hours and we booked through Georgios (his cousin). The Try Dive Scuba cost 50 Euros and was amazing, is available most afternoons for a 35 minute dive (that is enough if you have never tried it before) and takes most of the afternoon with boat travel etc added on). We would defiantly love to return to this resort in the future but would probably look for alternate accommodation with softer beds.

What a place, i wish there were more than five stars to appraise this little piece of magic. Apartments spotless, the whole facility is first class. Location 1 minute from the beach probably 30 seconds to be honest, then they have a beach bar with quality furnishings where service comes expertly with the biggest genuine warmth as if the people who run Casa Del Mar are your friends. Genuine warmth from meet to leaving Anna the owner is such an amazing women who offered time for a chat and explain questions with incredible depth whose English is so easy to understand. We are going back at the end of August mainly due to Anna and Casa Del Mar. Thank you so much Anna and your fantastic staff. Andy & Julie x

First family holiday to Zankythos and Kookis Village; we were certainly not dissapointed. Zante as an island is pretty with plenty too see and do. The more developed resorts of Laganas and Kalamiki were not to our taste - more geared around the younger visitors with lots of bars, nightlife etc. Limni Keri on the other hand was a relatively quiet small, beach front town probably 20 minutes drive from the airport with a range of tavernas. Kookis Village is a small complex of private villas, we had a one bedroom villa with a private pool. The complex is run by Anthonis and his family; who were all very friendly, polite and cheerful; they made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. The villa itself was large with one large double bedroom with ensuite on the first floor and the two twin beds being formed form the sofa in the ground floor lounge area. There was also a bathroom on the ground floor and kitchen dining area. It was well appointed and spacious for the the four of us. The villa was well maintained and was absolutely spotlessly clean throughout. There was daily maid service and the towels were changed every two days, (not something we expected on a self catering holiday). The private pool was superb and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall Kookis Village and Anthonis and his family were exceptional, it truly is a little gem. If you are visiting, we would highly recommend a hire car to get around the island. Highlights for us were the Blue Caves trip, the Shipwreck viewing point, dinner at Michaelis restaurant at sunset in Kambi, Denis Taverna, Windmill restaurant, (both on the main road between Keri and Laganas). Thank you again to Anthonis and his family.

We booked this holiday last minute to get away post lockdown. We had a few hotels to choose from and we were so pleased we chose memories. It is a small but perfectly formed hotel. Ideal for our stay. The host, Christos, can not do enough for you. He arranged everything we asked for including a hire car and a boat for the day (highly recommended). The service is impeccable and the hotel is extremely clean. Obviously in the current climate this is very beneficial. The breakfasts are great. The fruit and Greek yoghurt is amazing. There was loads of choice and i was never felt wanting. Whilst Laganas may not be everyones choice, Memories is an amazing base to explore. Christos is a great source of information. We would 100% return as there is so much to see and Memories is a fabulous base to explore.

My two friends and I stayed at Hotel Natalie for a week in September. Hotel has a great location and is very close to some great bars/restaurants. However, when we arrived at our room the door and windows were left wide open and we found this highly unusual. We were being assisted by our rep who went into the room and noticed a very strong and pungent smell. It smelled like a vomit and sewage. We could not find an exact location for the smell but we were certain that it came from inside the room as it smelt fine outside. There were also cornflakes scattered left on the window sill, which signalled that it had not been cleaned efficiently. I spoke to a man at reception who told us that smell was due to recent rainfall and would most likely be gone by morning. I explained to him that we were not prepared to stay in that room, as the smell was so strong and made us all feel ill. He was highly rude and said we would not be moved tonight, but we could try in morning. As it was late and we had no other choice, we stayed in the room for one night. Throughout the night, the smell remained strong, there were loud noises coming from outside generators, and a constant tap tap noise. In the morning I went to reception to ask to be moved and was served by a king young man who apologised and moved us to a different room. He is the reason that I am not giving this place one out of five. The new hotel room was basic but fine. The bathroom could be cleaner and the shower had mould on it. The bathroom has no window or fan for ventilation. The rooms got very hot and you have to pay extra for aircon. The pool was perfectly fine and the food served at the pool bar was decent. Breakfast was okay. When we returned at night, we were very conscious about remaining quiet as to not disturb other guests. However every time we entered the hotel, we commanded to be quiet by the night porter, even though we had not made any noise. This made the hotel experience feel very unwelcoming. I feel as though Hotel Natalie do not value customer loyalty and will not be returning as a result.

Perfect location, block away from the strip so far enough to not hear or be woken by anything or anyone and close enough to just pop in and out of the strip when you please. Hotel was very clean and was cleaned everyday by the maid when we were there. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. You do have to pay a deposit when arriving and also for the safe, air con and WiFi. The best thing about the hotel is the pool, it is amazing so big and has a shallow and deep end with sun loungers all around. Small bar which serves food and drink which is very cheap and affordable and the food is good. If you need anything the staff are more than helpful in getting you what you need. Overall amazing little place and would definitely return and recommend to anyone who is thinking of going. I have read so many bad reviews on sunshine however they are fair to you until you disobey the rules they have set which is fair enough as you are shown them on arrival so if they don’t like them it’s your choice, they want to keep all guest happy as there are small children in the hotel too. Would give it more than 5 stars if I had the option!

There are not many varieties of breakfast, but at least there are fried eggs, boiled eggs, bread, coffee, cereals and juices, which can meet the basic needs of the Chinese people. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning, there was no room left, I could only wait for someone to check out, but the hotel said that I could go to the restaurant for breakfast, but it was more humane. The location of the hotel is in the mountains, so you must consider renting a car when you come to live, otherwise you will feel that it is difficult to move.

Greek self catering holidays are all about basic needs, ie a bed which is comfortable with clean sheets changed on a regular basis, a bin in the loo to be emptied daily, the floor to be washed over daily, towels changed along with the bedding and staff that don't necessarily have a good command of English but they try and smile alot. This added to a good sized studio with a sunny balcony, a view of the hills, peaceful yet just a short stroll through the Vanessa Hotel grounds to everything that you could possibly need, supermarket, tavernas, general shops, bakery, health care. You can also use the pool behind the studios and get something to eat there, appears to be part of the same complex but it's probably owned by a cousin or distant uncle. We couldn't fault these studios and so reasonably priced too.

First the good things about the Astoria. The position right on the beach is fantastic. The views from the sea facing rooms are spot on. The reception staff are friendly and will help you if they can. The ice making machines on each floor were just the ticket. Now the not so good things. The hotel is stuck in a time warp and looks very tired. It needs a vast injection of cash, not so it makes it an ultra modern hotel but to make it up to date. The carpet on the stairs looks like it needs a good clean. I actually put back four stair rods that had come loose four days previous. What were the cleaning staff doing? On our first night when returning from our meal, we went to the bar. My wife asked for a vodka and tonic. Sorry no vodka. She then asked for a bacardi and coke. Sorry no bacardi. First and last visit to the bar. On the first morning we went down for breakfast. Not very inviting. We are not full English breakfast people so fruit, yogurt and toast is fine by us. But the fruit look like it was two days old. The butter was placed in bowl and looked like it had melted then reset and melted again. The bread was ok, but then bread is bread. Although we had paid for bed and breakfast we finished up buying fresh fruit and yogurt from the supermarket everyday, along with a jar of coffee, milk and sugar and turned our holiday into self catering. The rooms were cleaned to a point everyday but our cleaner must have been in a bit of a rush. The towels were changed often but when you have to go back to reception and ask for one to be replaced because it had rotted and ripped apart when used its not very good. The place Alykes is wonderful and we will be visiting again at some point. But will we be staying at the Astoria. I don't think so.

We had an amazing stay at Ionian Aura! The very friendly owner Yannis welcomed us warm and we felt at home right away. He gave us great advice for some excellent restaurants and things to do in the area. When we arrived we had the chance to upgrade our room, which we can reccomend. The newer rooms are beautiful, modern and spacious, amazing bed and amazing shower. It was kept clean spotless. It has a good balcony with stunning see view. We loved the buffet breakfast with fresh juice, fruit, home made bread, good coffee and more. They even got us lactose free milk as I am lactose intolerent, very sweet! Very nice pool area and a well maintained property. It has a ‘boutique’ feel. The staff will do anything to make sure you have a great and relaxing holdiay. Overall great experience with luxurious feel for a good price! Such a shame we only stayed here for 4 nights.. we wish we could stay a little longer. Hiring a car is recomended, as the steep hill to Tsilivi is not easy to walk.

Although not the first hotel I wanted to stay in, Ctrip's customer service did their best, the room was speechless, and the double bed was made up of two beds. . . There is a charging socket on the bedside. The water is salty. Go to the supermarket and buy some spring water. The legendary city view is looking at the other wall of the hotel. The only good thing is that the breakfast is really good and my Greeks are quite satisfied. Recommend the traditional desserts in Tuli, super delicious! !! !! Greek yogurt is super delicious if you add some honey. If you check out early in the morning, you can tell the staff that you can take some breakfast to take away. Finally, for off-season travel, the price / performance ratio is still okay. . .

Stayed for two weeks in a 2 room apartment on the 3rd floor. No elevator and strange layout made us walk up, down and up again to get to and from the apartment. Small kitchen with fridge and a cooking plate. Fair enough but no table and chairs in the livingroom. Only place to eat was at the small veranda with table and 3 chairs. One big closet with 2 small drawers in the living room. Cleaning was not to good. 100 € for AC and safe/2 weeks. Pool area is clean and ok. Tables, chairs, sunbeds and umbrellas. Food and drinks available from the reception. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel also has their own car rental with new cars. 100 € for a Hyundai I10 for 3 days. Location is perfect. About 200m to the main street and 100m to the beach. Quiet area with possibilities to sleep at night. Several very good restaurants close by. Red Peppers, Tasos, Balsamico are some.

I chose this hotel based on the reviews that I read here and unfortunately it was not what I expected. We stayed in room 403, one of the family rooms. The food for breakfast was repetitive; there were not too many options for other meals, and I once found a hair on my food, I just hope it came from me.. Location- it is far from Laganas beach, but anyways the beach doesn't worth the hassle it's better to rent a car and go to other beaches on the island. Also, even though it's far from the center, you can still hear the noise from there, not as loud as if you stayed in the center, but you can still hear it. Cleanliness - not the best: stained walls, stained couch, stained floor, sewage smell in the room and so on.. Room - needs maintenance. The door handle from the entrance is getting out when you try to open the door; the shower support is falling off when you put the shower head in it, leaving exposed a rusty nail; electricity wires are exposed on both hallway and in the room; only salty water for shower and on the tap-I don't think it's safe to drink. Toiletries - were never replaced. We ended up buying our own. Outside space - pool a little bit dirty, and pieces of the floor around the pool can be removed. Some of the furniture rusty, I found some kind of rusty nail and chain around the pool laying on the floor.. Overall, for the money that I paid I wouldn't choose it again.

Okay so I won't lie we were very sceptical upon arrival and were worrying about the hotel but as soon as we got into our room all our worry disappeared, it was so close to the airport, only took 10 mins in the taxi. The staff were also lovely upon our arrival. We were offered the wristband for the week for 100 euros by Andy the rep but we declined as we were all lightweights and didn't think it was worth it lol) the wristband entitled you to free drinks every day in a hour of your choice (i think?) We also did have to pay a fee for wifi & air con but the lady at the desk gave us a deal for the whole week which was very reasonable. In the evening the man at the desk smiled at me every time I walked past, we felt safe! So our room was amazing considering what we paid?! Clean, comfy beds and a lovely balcony overlooking the front of the hotel entrance to pre-drink on before we went out. A safe to store all our valuables. There was next to no space to hang up our clothes and stuff for 3 people but it didn't bother us to live out of our suitcases for a week. Considering we went in September you could still tell it was a party hotel however we had no trouble with noise at all?? I think music had to be turned off by 1am but by that time everyone was on the strip or leaving for the strip. I assume it must be a lot crazier/noisier in the busier months. I would say its not really a family hotel at all but to be honest we did see people of all ages, even a elderly couple!! The strip was a TEN MINUTE WALK AWAY, so location absolutely a 10/10. No taxis involved in getting there and back so saved money & it was very very convenient. As you leave the hotel entrance there is the main bar and pool across the road, however there is also a sister pool a few more steps further down the road (anyone has access) USE THIS ONE!! The pool further down is much bigger, more sunbeds and seemed cleaner, both pool bars served food and drink and played music. The main pool did have a swim up bar but we didn't actually use that. When it came to feeding ourselves etc, there is a Spar just opposite the petrol station at the top of the road from the hotel, so again very convenient. There was a Pharmacy (people were rude) and ATM near the shop as well. We used this Spar to buy all our alcohol & snacks!! For dinner we ate out every night but it was never expensive. We found an amazing Chinese restaurant (Oriental Express?) at the start the strip and it served gorgeous food for average price, we ate there nearly every night. We also found another gem on the strip, it was called BJs and we bought a chicken gryos from there every night for £3.50 and ate it on our walk home. SO GOOD that I'm craving one now. There was also a Maccies near the bottom of the strip to. The strip wasn't that lively as it was coming towards the end of the season, but even so we had a great time every night. We loved Zeros, the barman was so friendly and chatted to us every night. Cocktails and Dreams wa

You have to bare in mind first of all its a very cheap hotel. If you go with the mindset it's something it's not you will be disappointed. The week we went was end of the season so as others said the food choices were not amazing. Breakfast you had to be in early and even then it was not great. Nick who works in the food and bar area was fantastic and would cook to order pretty much anything you wanted. The evening meal was from 7:30pm which was too late. Could well do with being earlier. The food was mostly nice and varied. Again end of season the hotel was far from full so you can't expect a massive selection. The staff were all very friendly and had no issues with rudeness at all as others suggested. I can only imagine if you give the staff grief they may be less friendly but then what do you expect? Nothing stolen from my room I left expensive Bluetooth speaker out. The rooms were clean and decorated nicely nothing wrong no dirt or broken fixtures again as others have suggested. Could do with being insulated against sound more though as noise does carry which caused issued with sleep. It is also very close to a road which is loud so if you stay ask for a room out back problem solved. Could do with having the pool bar serving the all inclusive beer though as going next door every time was a slight pain but only slight. Dinner could do with being a bit earlier and sound proof better. Overall we went in knowing it was cheap and to not expect too much. After the reviews we read we were dreading going. But actually had a very nice stay thank you guys :)

I was here on my own in September for a relaxing holiday having lost my wife. I booked last minute through TUI having seen the place on a previous holiday. Once booked I read some reviews that concerned me. I e mailed the hotel to e plain my disability and got a reply within the hour. I arrived on a delayed flight and was dropped by a taxi at a closed entrance, who just drove off. I saw an open gate and made my way through it with th case and bags. Almost immediately I was greeted by someone who took my bags and got me to a reception. It later transpired this was a barman who’s seen me get dropped off. Within a few minutes a really pleasant woman met me at reception and took me to my room. 106. She explained everything, sorted the AC and told me that if I was hungry the bar staff would cook me a meal even thought the restaurant had finished serving, because the flight was delayed. Dumped my gear, grabbed a shower and headed to the bar. Ordered a light meal and almost immediately felt as if I was a regular. The rest of the holiday was exactly the same. The tour rep was exceptional. I’ve had some really poor ones. The meals were good and plenty of it. Evening meal wasn’t as expected...the normal grab and go....it was a four page al a carte set up.....and good. Rooms were excellent, cleaned every day and spacious. More than enough sun beds with sun all day. Pool and poolside clean and tidy. Overall......I’ve stayed in Kalamaki a few times and paid more than twice the price for some hotels that can’t hold a candle to this one for cleanliness, service, support and friendliness. As a lone traveller I’m booking to go back in May.......2020. Yes I’ve stayed at many places in the resort and had some great experiences. I even paid over £1200 for one 7 day holiday.....but I can honestly say this has been the best place to stay, and I’m really unsure why there were negative comments for Ionian Blue regarding rooms, reception, at or pool area.

Breakfast can be, the location of the hotel is good, behind the bar street, the bar is downstairs, the window is closed at night, the sound insulation is better, there is not much impact.        There is a man at the front desk of the hotel. I am really not talking about it! It completely affected the hotel's good impression to the guests! The first day to stay at the hotel, recommend us a day trip, this recommendation I can fully understand, but we need to discuss it again, he is not happy in an instant, that expression and tone, bad reviews! ! In addition, we came back from the outside, two foreigners were staying, he greeted us, and then shrugged shoulders at the two foreigners! ! A few meanings ~ that kind of expression action seems like we are **? ! Personal English is also very heavy, and I feel very good!   The most atmospheric thing is that the day before said to give us a call to the plane, this thing we confirmed three sides! ! ! The last time was that we went back to the room at night and told him again at the front desk! ! He said OK! The next day we waited downstairs on time! I haven't got a car for a long time! Originally, he also said that it is just right to go to the airport at this time, but if the car is late, then we are likely to miss the opportunity! Time is limited. He did not hand over the next successor to the colleague. We asked, the female front desk did not know, and then called him to complain a lot! Then tell us that the car is on the way, but I haven't come for a long time! It is not good to play in that place. It takes time, I also stopped the car, it is very troublesome! ! He not only caused trouble to his colleagues! Also caused us trouble! Finally, another hotel staff member gave us a temporary taxi. The drivers are all close to each other, but there is no delay. Every country has a person who has lost face to the people! I hope everyone can maintain a modest attitude and respect each other!

For the first time, I have stayed at the hotel for three meals. Yes, there is food in the morning and evening. We arrived at 9 o'clock in the evening and left a sandwich for dinner. Besides the afternoon meal, we will have afternoon tea, next to the hotel. It is the beach. You can also take a day or a half-day tour of the Turtle Island. The hotel room is generally not very beautiful, clean and hygienic. Anyway, the price is here.

Our room wasn't ready upon arrival which wasnt an issue. When checking back we were told our room was double booked and would we mind staying in staff accommodation-at this point I was so hot and tired, I wanted a shower and to lay down so agreed. Not very impressed with the room but was assured by the very nice man from reception that we would get an upgrade on our original room the next day. The next morning we were shown to a beautiful (huge) room and I was more than happy. We were top floor facing the pool (D block I think) The view from the balcony was great. The room was clean and more than suitable for our needs. The shower was great - very powerful. Air con wasn't amazing but satisfactory. All staff were friendly. They booked us taxis as we needed them. Room and hotel was kept clean. Short walk to the beach. Nice food available at the pool bar restaurant. Yes you are (extremely) close to the airport and you will definitely see/hear planes taking off, but not during the night. Supermarket at the top of road, which leads to the main Kalamaki road. We loved staying here and would stay again.

Would absolutely recommend staying here. Laganas’ hidden gem. Angela has created a place to stay that combines luxury with affordability. Honestly could not say one bad thing about this hotel. It is small, quiet and cosy in stature but has a location perfect for couples, youngsters and families alike. Within a 5 minute walk you have the soft sand of the beach, but also the abundance of excellent shops, restaurants and bars as well as the nightclubs. The facilities at the Litore are great, a good sized pool with plenty of sun loungers that get sun all day long. The hotel was very clean and well looked after. In the rooms you have a very powerful and hot shower, plenty of storage draws and a large wardrobe! A fantastic basin and mirror area as well as a large dressing table all with great lighting! The bed was hugeeee and so comfy this combined with the air con unit meant we had a great nights sleep every single night. We were provided with plenty of soft fresh towels, fantastic toiletries and a vanity kit. Not only that, we were given bath robes and slippers that again, were incredibly soft and comfy!! Oh and the complimentary bottles of water and wine on arrival went down a treat... The last thing that needs a mention is the incredibly warm and kind hostess Angela, she made our short stay in Zakynthos extremely enjoyable, she gave us lots of advice about where to go and what to do, as well as always being on hand if required (not that we needed anything it was that great!). She even organised our transport back the airport. Thank you for a great time Angela. Having only stayed at Litore Luxury Living for 4 nights, we can honestly say we had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing experience and we will definitely be returning very soon!!

we had a studio with sea view and they were lovely views.

Just arrived back 12th October 2019 having stayed at the hotel Canadian for 10 days .from the moment we arrived we were treat as though we were a family member from the reception staff to the three gentlemen who ran the bar who were absolutely brilliant always polite and smiling nothing was too much trouble they went out of their way to give you what you wanted. The food was excellent with a wide choice of meals making it difficult to choose. The rooms were basic but very clean with fresh sheets/towels replaced regularly very spacious with a closed off area for cooking if you wanted to. We were on the upper floor room 112 which we do prefer with a good size balcony Their was also washing machine and dryer if needed. Near the pool area All in all a very enjoyable stay would highly recommend oh and by the way we are both in our early seventies so don’t think it’s just for the younger generation we will definitely be going back

Just returned from a 4 night stay All Inclusive with my family. Children aged 9 and 6 years old. It was the kids first sun holiday we normally go skiing. I booked this holiday a week before traveling and after reading some of the reviews I really had my fingers crossed it was what it said on the tin, as they say! I can confidently say we had a brilliant time. All the staff were helpful and smiley. Even the maids that didn’t speak English that I met gave you a smile. All the hotel areas were clean and tidy. Our room was cleaned daily. The kids loved playing in the pools. Us parents enjoyed sitting at the swim up bar having a drink watching the kids ha ha. The food was good but could have had a little more variety if I had to pick a fault. But to be honest we all ate like kings and queens and never felt hungry. My two enjoyed having the independents of getting up and serving themselves. Never had a problem with getting a table or having to que for food. A little more entertainment in the day and night would be lovely. But I knew what we were getting so I wasn’t disappointed. To sum it up it was a very successful holiday for the family and we really enjoyed the family time together in a lovely hotel. I found it helpful to know before arriving that I would be asked for a 50 euro refundable deposit on arrival, 12euro for the room safe and I think 12euro for the local tax.

The hotel is on the hill, very quiet, the pool is a bit dirty, can't swim, the other is not as bad as the ones mentioned in the comments, it is not so good, more than 9 euros for breakfast, it is acceptable. Going out, please book the rental at the front desk. It is not Audi or Mercedes. The price goes to the town of Zhajin about 15 euros, to the blue hole pier 70 euros, it is recommended to charter. By the way, go to Zha Jin, remember to eat lobster, 25 Euro is very cheap.

The hotel itself, I would rate at a 4. Our room was lovely and clean, and the housekeepers were great. However, the gardens lacked attention. There were no lights on in the communal areas at night making it very difficult. The emergency light and spotlight by our apartment was permanently off / broken. Reported to the manager on 1st night and 2 weeks later, not on/ repaired. I appreciate this is likely a family run operation but this manager seemed more interested in his birds and charging people for extras. There were pet birds being kept in the bar / snack area, which routinely wasn't open beyond 7pm. The birds cages (which were kept on the bar rendering the "bar" closed) were well "used" throughout and only cleaned after guests were overheard talking about it. The amount of supplementary charges were surprising. Extra charges for: fridge (€3 per day - a HARD sell up front to try to get us to pay for the facility which we didnt use for the first week on principle), air con (€6 per day - although not uncommon anywhere), WiFi (€7 per week for 1 device - free on the nearby beach btw), ice for drinks after the first large cube (50c for 2 Ice cubes), and for boiled water (60c). Irons and hairdryers also had a surcharge. Now I am aware that all hotels have supplementary charges for air con and wifi but the amount of little tacked on extras really took us out of the moment and felt actually rather crooked. Even other businesses upon learning where we were staying made quips about the additional charges posed by this place. On to the good points now. The location is fantastic for the beach and the strip. The pool is fantastic (although could have been maintained a bit more). The decor was lovely and fresh. We had a basic, functional room with a great shower which we liked. I know i've harped on a lot about the negatives in this review but truthfully under different management i would absolutely come back. Its a pretty place in a good location, but under the existing management i wouldnt return.

I stayed here from September 9th - 16th 2019 with my wife and daughter. We had originally booked to go to Ibiza but pulled out at the 11th hour as the weather was so bad and ended up getting a last minute deal to come to the White Olive Elite. Initially, my wife had reservations as it was so new that it was showing as an unfinished building on google maps. For my part, the hotel is in Laganas which is one area of Zakynthos that I never thought 'd take my family to (great for younger people, but not my thing these days!). Anyway, upon arrival we were VERY pleased with the appearance of the building and the layout and the rooms. Everything was new - the rooms had great technology, the place was clean and it wasn't too busy. To give you an idea of the place, I'll describe each area/facility separately: Hotel room: We had room 4104 which was slightly shaded but overlooking the pool and restaurant area. As I said, the technology in the rooms was great - very modern. There was a TV (for those that come on holiday to watch their favourite programs!), a Nespresso machine, fridge, aircon that worked really well, modern lighting, spacious living area and a nice bathroom. The balcony was above average size and the whole place was kept clean by the maids every day. Pool area 1: This was the biggest pool and had a small corner sectioned off for young children. The pool itself was lovely, clean, and there was ample sunbeds for everyone. A few people got up pre 9am to 'place their towels', but this was probably just so they got their preferred location rather than a fear of not getting a good spot. You could turn up to the pool at anytime of day and easily get a couple of beds in the sun. Pool area 2: a slightly smaller pool - again very clean and well looked after. Both pools were suitable for children and adults. Pool area 3: not really a pool - more of a seating area for the bar with stools in the water - really nice. All drinks free of charge and the bar was open from 11am to 11pm. They are very strict on the closing time and will close the shutters down even if you're half way through pouring yourself a drink. No big deal, and became quite funny in the end! Roof Terrace: this overlooked both pools and was rarely used so if you wanted to be out of the way and still get plenty of sun, this is the place for you. Restaurant: nothing special, but not too bad either. I guess you'd call it your typical all inclusive type of food. We used the restaurant for breakfast and lunch and then dined out most nights as there were so many lovely restaurants in the area. They also provide afternoon snacks at the pool bar and at the inside cocktail bar. Reception: very nice, modern, open space with good english spoken by everyone. Downstairs is a kids play area, communal toilets, and a gym. Out & About: hundreds of restaurants & bars all within a 5-10 minute walk. The hotel is on the outskirts of the main Laganas area so noise isn't an issue but yo
