Hotels Near Nombe Bar In Auckland
0.05km from Nombe BarThe hotel was being renovated on the exterior wall when I checked in, but we were late and late, and it was not affected! The worst thing is that the hot water on the first night is bad. My husband was forced to rush a cold water in the weather of 8-9 degrees after applying the shower gel in the hot water for 2 minutes. Fortunately, the physical quality is not bad. No cold, the same as the second night, we immediately reflected that the front desk will soon change rooms! It’s just that moving around is a bit of a hassle! The service is good.
0.14km from Nombe BarThe location of the hotel is very good. It is located in the center of Auckland. The surrounding public transportation, dining and shopping are very convenient. Behind is a small park, very quiet. The attitude of the front desk is very good, the rooms are fully equipped, the kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a small balcony.
0.22km from Nombe BarThe hotel has a simple breakfast to buy, two pieces of bread and a box of milk, butter and jam, tea bags and coffee, and a cereal-like thing to put in milk, it is more convenient. After checking out, I can use the storage room for free and stay in the public area. I have a nap on the sofa in the public area and I feel that the service is very good. In addition, the location is very good, and all the attractions in the city center can be reached by foot. The sky bus is also nearby, and it takes less than five minutes to get there. There are also many Chinese restaurants nearby, affordable, and there are many gift shop supermarkets.
0.3km from Nombe BarNo breakfast, the location of the hotel can also be cutlery kitchen utensils are very clean and clean is the induction cooker is a bit slow, no air conditioning, electric heater, electric fan, this is a bit pit, but this is the time when the temperature is not hot
0.3km from Nombe BarI´ve spent 2 months in this place. You can choose between single room and double room and even another kind of ammenities like the top floor with exclusive kitchen. All the staff were really helpul and friendly. You need to pay extra for the internet service which is ussual in Auckland.
0.31km from Nombe BarThe location of the hotel is great. The park is next to the hotel and it is very close to Queen Street. It is very convenient for eating and shopping. If you go to the airport, you can choose skybus. There is also a small swimming pool on the ground floor where children can play and the supermarket is not far away. These places can be reached on foot, which is very convenient.
0.31km from Nombe BarThe hotel is located in the city centre of Auckland, which can be easily reached by skybus from the airport. You can walk to the Sky Tower for about ten minutes, as well as Internet celebrity restaurants and countdown supermarkets. Hotel space is not small, relatively clean, microwave oven, induction cooker, etc., complete functions and facilities. The disadvantage is that the big bed is made up of two beds, and the seam can be felt in the middle.
0.33km from Nombe BarLocation is near edge of CBD core up a steep slope. But hotel has a Sky Bus stop just outside. So convenient for those flying in/out. Near hotel are many eating places,
mostly Asian. But a short walk down towards the harbour is an excellent Japanese eatery - Osaka - serving delicious and reasonably priced food. Run by a Korean family.
For the hotel, room size is reasonably large. But TV programming is very OZ centric. Even the news channels. Other international guests will feel discriminated. Nearby is
a small but charming park. And further up the road is a typical NZ neighbourhood with shops serving locals and not tourists. Queen Street itself is very touristy with the
usual run of branded shops and health supplement stores which do a roaring business with Asian visitors.
0.33km from Nombe BarThe size of the room is ok, clean and tidy, the mattress is a little bit worse, but the room has a refrigerator, heating, heating after 6 pm, no free WIFI, 6 New Zealand dollars a day, everything else can be, cost-effective, all Five points of praise
0.34km from Nombe BarIt's in the urban area, just a short walk from Queen Street. There is a parking lot, but we didn't stop there. We just stopped to the outside parking lot. Fortunately, it was not far. The waiter will bring tomorrow morning breakfast, two slices of bread per person, a box of milk, a cream, a box of jam, a packet of oatmeal and biscuits. There is a kitchenette, washing machine and soap powder. You can see the street view. In short, it is better.
0.35km from Nombe BarStrategically located in QueenStreet, it is very friendly for people who choose to travel from the airport to the sky bus. It is easy to find by crossing the road. The front desk is very warm, the environment is very good, the sanitary conditions are good, the room is large, the roommate is very enthusiasm. I will continue to choose this Youth Hostel next time.
0.36km from Nombe BarOpened in 2021, the Mercure Auckland Queen Street is a great accommodation choice in Auckland. The hotel is only 2km from Grafton and 26km from Auckland International Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. Keeping busy is easy, with Q Theatre, The Baptist Tabernacle and Artspace all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Auckland hotel offers parking on site.
Hotels Near Nombe Bar In Auckland Review
I've been staying at the Quest for a short while and quite simply I cannot recommend it more highly as far as serviced apartments go. The owners and staff are the nicest people, who have been super helpful, friendly and welcoming for the whole of my stay - always a smile and chat at reception. The location is absolutely killer. Whether you are visiting Auckland for a short break, or spending a bit longer - it's very hard to top this place. It is situated not only on Ponsonby Road with some of the best shops, cafes, restaurants and bars in NZ, but it is also a short walk to Karangahape (K) Rd with a whole different feel and selection of interesting shops and terrific restaurants/cafes/bars as well. If you want to go into central Auckland/viaduct harbour - it is just a quick $6 uber there. There's a brand new Countdown supermarket right next to the Quest here, as well as a 24 hour gym. The apartments are really comfortable, there's all the usual amenities (really good wi-fi, Sky TV etc) and always kept really clean, daily, by the professional service staff here - fresh toiletries/towels etc. It's private and quiet too which is a big bonus. Also nice and warm during mid-winter now, with remote controlled air con. There's also a carpark for people staying if needed - which is a God-send as parking is pretty hard to come by in this part of town. I don't care what anyone says about central city apartments - this is THE best location to be based and I can't recommend it highly enough.
Our facial cleanser fell in the hotel. I wanted to call and ask the next day. The hotel said that they would throw it when they saw it less... Our bottle of SKII facial cleanser can wash at least 20 times. The location is good to find, close to the supermarket.

Complete facilities and good service
Auckland City Center
Clean and sanitary, well-equipped facilities, very good service, convenient transportation, Uber for travel nearby is not expensive, breakfast is good, and rich. A great experience. The room was very quiet. Breakfast is simple but real. There is a set menu for lunch. Although the amount is smaller, there are appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. The concierge is very active in taking luggage and borrowing umbrellas is convenient. The only bad thing is that the bed in the twin room is too small, it is estimated to be only 90cm wide.

I travel almost every month. This hotel is definitely the best value for money around. Very pleasant surprise.
In terms of location, the hotel is five or six hundred meters away from the skycity. It is closer to Queen Street and Victoria Street. The Asian supermarket opposite the hotel is very convenient. The hotel location is good so it is quiet
In terms of facilities, the electrical appliances of this hotel are better than five-star hotels. I am so surprised that I often travel on business, so I have stayed in many five-star hotels. The household things are very high-end. Panasonic TV LG refrigerator is Australian brand Westinghouse appliances and furniture are very new and very new What brand of oven I forgot is also a very good brand The toiletries and tea bags and coffee in the room are complete, even the tea cups are Australian brand maxwell and williams The bone china is very good texture than the things used by five-star hotels. The kitchen has an induction cooker, a range hood, a kettle, etc. The sofa in the room is also very spacious.
In terms of service, the hotel owner and front desk are very nice. The staff can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin. There is a free upgrade. Amazing. There is a lock up garage. The garage is safe and convenient. The room has free mineral water and tea bags. Discounts on taxis
In terms of value for money, the room is quite good. The surrounding hotels have no air conditioning, no kitchen, no appliances, and the old rooms are more expensive than here. This is really the king of cost performance. Real name Amway

I think this hostel is okay. The check-in took a long time because a bus of people got off in front of me but the staff was very friendly and fast. I think that there are a lot of people that stay here, so I thought it was a little crowded. The kitchen had so many people in it that it was hard to cook and find dishes to use. The location was fairly good and the beds were comfortable. Be sure to bring your own towel and soap!
Booked a suite for 7 people, with a double bed and a single bed in the two rooms and a sofa bed in the other. The location of the hotel is close to the airport, there is an airport shuttle bus, there is McDonald's nearby, and it is convenient to go there when it is late.
There is no breakfast, and parking is actually charged. The waiter is black, which is poor. I will not take the initiative to tell you to put a piece of paper for parking on the windshield. If you do n’t put it, you will be fined $ 65. Domestic one-bedroom apartment buildings, the rooms are particularly noisy, there are nightclubs downstairs, and there are planes in the sky. If the air conditioner is not turned on, it will be very hot and meetings will be noisy. In short, the price of chicken ribs, if not for the next day to catch a plane, do not choose here.

The hotel is clean and the breakfast buffet is generous.
We arrived at the hotel at more than 10 in the morning. The room type we wanted was not available yet. The hotel manager suggested that we upgrade to the suite at a price of S $ 100 and finally S $ 50.
Free breakfast for children under 12 years old.
Opposite the hotel is the University of Auckland. Auckland is very small. The hotel is 15 minutes walk to the Sky Tower.

You cant fault the Hyatt. They do everything unbelievably well. From the incredible rooms, to the incredible gym to the incredible service to the incredible location. I dont have one complaint about this place. It is international standard on every level. No other hotel on the waterfront even compares to it.
I stayed here for 01 month. I like the place some much, it has nice surrounding, location and spacious rooms with good affordable price. It has wonderful staff and owner. Always there for our help even Owner. He and his wife are very sweet and loving people. Rooms are very much clean and tidy. Regular changing of clean Towels and soap-shampoo. Everyday when I return from work, I found room very much fresh, clean and arranged properly. Good for bachelors. I will suggest from my experience, it's pleasant place to stay. I don't need to look anywhere other in Auckland.
The surroundings are quiet. The food was very good. I feel comfortable and want to go again. I think it's a good hotel overall.

Set a studio for a room, stay 7 nights, have completely separate toilets and kitchen equipment. Disadvantages: The TV in the room was not very easy to use. I stayed for seven nights and only watched TV for one night. At other times, the TV showed "no signal"; the kitchen equipment was not easy to use, I bought the cake and cooked it; I changed the quilt cover seven days, and the other time just took the garbage away, and the hair on the floor was not cleaned up. The table lamp bulb on the table is not good; the location of the hotel is good, but to the main street is a big uphill, the last day to take the sky bus to push the baggage uphill is the ultimate challenge. advantage: The location of the hotel is good, a few steps downstairs has a convenience store that looks like a 24-hour. There is oil in the room, and the washed underwear can be dried directly. The 20 knives bought at the front desk 10G flow is quite stable; the bath hot water is stable; probably good luck, the neighbors are quite quiet. When the elevator goes down at 8:20 every day, the elevator basically does not have to wait. There are quite a lot of Chinese students in the building, and they feel psychologically safe. Summary: One person lives okay, about the level of a three-star hotel in China, not suitable for children. Although there are a bunch of shortcomings, the biggest advantage of people is that they are cheap, so they are generally satisfied.
The location of the hotel is very convenient and there is a parking space available. Suitable for living with children. There are merchants from Taiwanese and Koreans on the side, and it is very convenient to travel. There are also some restaurants, like the famous out of the cage, etc. In short, the location is very good.
While I have not stayed here I have had friends who have lived here. Their kitchen is lovely as they serve vegan and vegetarian meals. I personally travel here for their Spirit Festivals and Yoga Festivals. Both are incredible experiences that I highly suggest going to. It is very community-centric and a spiritual place to stay if you are looking for a wholesome travel experience. If I were to stay here I would check out some of the events they have going on daily. Would suggest staying here just because of the sheer beauty of the surrounding area and positive signs. Lifts your spirits.
The hostel is a lovely building. clean, well equipped and in a great location. Unfortunately our stay wasn’t the most positive though as they separated our party of 2 (both under the same booking) into different rooms. There’s a note in the Hostelworld description that this may happen, however with such a small group and for the price we paid we were surprised the hostel allows this to happen. After 7 months of travelling it’s the first hostel we’ve stayed in that we have been separated, I was in a room with someone else who had been separated from his partner too. I just feel some better bed management will really help make this a great stay as we came away feeling somewhat unsatisfied. Also as the reception closes at 7pm there isn’t much policing of the ‘quiet time’ at 10.30pm and my room was kept awake until after midnight with loud guests outside our door. My partner and I then had to leave at 5am for a flight and as we’d been put in separate rooms we felt bad waking up other guests in our rooms when the early alarms could have been confined to one room. Nice place but if these points could be improved it could be much better!
Doesnt look much from the outside but the rooms have been nicely renovated and have everything you need for an over night stay (disregard the slept in beds!). Shared communal kitchen on the ground floor if you dont want to eat out. No elevator so if you dont like stairs ask for a ground floor unit. Walking distance to fast food restaurants and backs onto shopping centre with foodcourt kmart and countdown. 20 minutes or so from airport so close if you need a cheap overnight stay before or after a flight. 2 adults and 2 small children, room was big enough for us all and beds for everyone.
Good buffet breakfast, except for the owners of the place having a loud business meeting with the council sitting down in the dining room so we heard all about how their business worked or didn’t – which wasn’t very professional to be a) talking about all that stuff in front of the customers and b) disturbing our breakfast with it. The bedroom was spacious and good in general. Bathroom seriously needed work though – very tired and damaged (see photo). Also only places to hang two towels so if two of you staying you couldn’t hang up the hand-towel, bathmat and two towels, let alone having enough space to hang towels if three there (which the room catered for: a double and a single bed). There was ample space on the walls or behind the door to add some hooks or another towel rail, but they haven’t bothered. So all in all the bathroom was very sub-standard.
The hosts were very professional and easy to communicate with. My flight was delayed a few times and they were very flexible with arranging the pickup from the AKL airport. Also very accommodating and helpful! The room itself was beautiful and obviously well-maintained, and very comfortable. The entire home really is beautiful. Everything you needed was there - tea, coffee, towels, toiletries. Would definitely book again!!
Very suitable for self-driving serviced apartments, new, clean and convenient. Although it is about 15 kilometers away from the city, the surrounding area is very convenient and clean. It is much better than living in the city.
I base my accommodation on trip advisor reviews and this one had some really good reviews so when it came to make a booking for a concert I did not hesitate. The reviews stated the lady in the office was very friendly and welcoming and even went out of the way to organise taxis. Brilliant - booked the "deluxe family room" for 3 people and even though the usual rate would only be $250.00 for 3 people, due to there being a concert the price went up another $120.00 to $ 370.00 for one night. With such positive reviews we looked past the hike in the room price due to the convenience of being close to Mt Smart. We arrived late afternoon after travelling and shopping and looking forward to getting to our room and relaxing. The office was locked when we arrived and the lady opened the door and the phone rang so took the call without a word to me or apology. I was handed the key and told our room was upstairs - okay - I was then asked how we were getting to the concert and after replying we would uber, I was told that we not be able to get an uber and that she was organising taxis if we wanted one. I would have to let her know as soon as possible though and she mentioned this on more than one occasion but we decided we would just take care of ourselves as it felt like we were getting pushed into booking one - maybe they get a commission from the taxi?? I was also asked what time we were leaving in the morning - strange when everyone knows that departure time is usually 10am. Guess they wanted us out as soon as possible for the next lot of concert goers coming in. We found our room which was clean but also very compact with a double bed in the main area and two singles in a separate room. The beds were very hard which might suit some people and the traffic noise is constant being next to the motorway and harbour. Ear plugs are provided though but it might be more beneficial if the extra money made from concerts went into double glazing? We also had no problems getting an uber to and from the concert so location wise this motel is great but for everything else we might just try somewhere different next time as value for money it is definitely over priced as it is quite outdated and cant really justify the amount of money spent on a terrible nights sleep.
Because I want to do things in the Central District, but I am actually completely unfamiliar with Epsom, so I just searched it on Ctrip. It can be said that I just looked at the pictures. The price was also in a few nearby shops. I thought it was OK and booked for three days. I found that after moving in, both the environment and the sanitary conditions were very satisfactory. In particular, the distribution of guest rooms is very ventilated, and the small accommodation area makes full use of the natural environment to achieve excellent ventilation and lighting. Also, it’s about a five-minute walk from the Countdown supermarket, so I think it’s ok to stay longer. Generally speaking, in comparison, this is a more cost-effective accommodation inn. Because there is no so-called hotel lobby and no other facilities such as a restaurant, but the guest room comes with a simple stove to make some food. In short, although you can stay in a four-star hotel at a price relative to Chinese people, it is still a good location in Auckland after all! In short, just do whatever you want! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
Must give great praise, the lady who went to the reception was very enthusiastic, and gave us an upgraded room for free! The boss is also very good, gave us a free breakfast, and the price is very reasonable! If you have the chance to choose his home again, there are electric blankets for Chinese people. This is the best point. Parking is free and convenient!

Breakfast is a traditional Western food with good quality. They are all hot foods and are suitable for bringing children. The location is quite good. In the urban area, there is a Chinese restaurant next door, and shopping around is very convenient.
Our family of 5 stayed during a 3 night holiday to Auckland, choosing this accommodation as not many can accommodate 3 child families, and also liked the location within close proximity to the mall etc. The layout and space was good but that's pretty much where it ends. It appears that some of the units may have been renovated but our unit was obviously not one of them. The room was rough, with holes in walls purely patched, one electrical socket was even hanging out of the wall. Our bathroom window would not shut probably so we had to ensure lights were off to reduce bug visitors. The place was also grotty, the sink etc needed a good clean, initially I thought the old timber etc might just be stained etc due to age but one wipe of a tissue over the skirting board revealed thick dust. The light fitting in the bathroom was full of dead bugs. About 3 blown bulbs in the unit. The crockery was stained and much of it with chips and cracks. The location and space means with some much needed TLC our unit would be great... but as it stands we wouldn't stay here again as for $235 per night we were terribly disappointed.
The hotel opened by the Chinese, the room is quite spacious, clean, and the service is very good. Going right and going forward, there are two Cantonese restaurants. The one is called Jin Jade, which is very delicious. The amount is too big to eat. There is a horse carriage opposite the golden jade. Yes, Cantonese style morning tea is not bad, in short, the location is good.

This is the worse place I have ever stayed at. I beleive these units need to be reviewed by the council and motel association as they are so unhygenic. They are not cleaned in between quests. The showers are so dirty that I wouldnt even wash in there. The sheets were clean but everyhing else was filthy - food on chairs, mould thru out the bathroom, hadnt seem a vacuum cleaner in months and dont look under the bed as the grim is cm thick. The fire sprinkler falling off the roof - an attempt to duck tape it to the ceiling had failed and this was in the disavled unit. Also in that room the door shlo ked the disabled couple inside and no one coukd get in or out. The owner said just put a chair behind it - great for those disabled and access is already a challenger. Please close this place down until they can clean it and health and safety compliance issues are addressed.
Disclaimer: I am a hotel person, never liked motels. Ended up with this motel due to proximity to the office. Pros: 1. Room was good, clean and fresh. 2. Wifi worked great. 3. Staff was very friendly. 4. Had a foot massager in room. 5. Bed were clean and neatly made. Cons: 1. Had a specific “old” facility smell, never like these. 2. Lift needed repairing, it never stopped aligned with floor - either 2 inch above or below. 3. The staff forgot my breakfast, but apologised in the morning. 4. Very tight corridor- I always hate such corridors. 5. TV needed tuning. 6. Only 1 restaurant near by.
After a long drive and disappointment in trying to find accommodation in Hamilton and elsewhere, where there was none!!!! we eventually ended up in Drury. We took the first accomodation available because we were so exhausted - not my usual thing. Room was big with a King bed and everything was available - large kitchen and good bathroom and plenty of room. A little pricey at $145 considering location and noisy traffic being right on the main road but great location for easy walk to the Irish Pub which was so handy. I would not recommend this hotel for a long stay but overnight is perfect . . . . .
