The on-site gym was basic but had the essential kit for a workout. The food provided over each day was tasty and plentiful. Overall, I will stay here again when in town.

      I needed a place to stay in Northampton for some last minute work. I was a bit sceptical at first however the bed was very comfortable with a large spacious clean room. Staff very helpful and food of decent quality. I didn't realise that the hotel has a lovely garden at the back which I was told will be fully open later this month. Overall, brilliant hotel!

      Stayed here for 2 nights Saturday and Sunday as we were going to a car show locally We checked into our room - the bed was so small I doubted it was a double! I went to reception and was told that this was a double - the room was extremely small I asked if we could move but apparently it was full due to a wedding being held there. I looked at the IHG app on my phone and there seemed to be rooms available but were told by reception none were available! We had an arranged dinner in the evening which was pleasant- breakfast both days was good On checking out our bill seemed rather high which I queried it was almost £100 more than it should have been the reception soon altered our bill to the correct amount. We were with a number of friends who similarly has discrepancies on their hotel bills. We were asked to rate our stay I gave it a 7 out of 10 due to the very small room and also the noise from the wedding which although finished earlier most guests seemed to want to chat

      So I arrived early as my car was having some work done at EBC 5 miles Down the road and was greeted by Lisa W. She was extremely polite and welcomed me in to wait for my room to be ready as check in isn’t till 1600. I was in the room by half 2 which was a touch because I managed to get some sleep in the afternoon. The room was clean and well presented with 2 kettles, tea and coffee and ironing setup ready to be used. The bathroom is fairly small but the toilet is closed off by the door nicely while someone else uses the shower, into the shower low pressure and didn’t heat up well at all. The hairdryer is housed opposite the bed next to the mirror. The bed was very comfortable and I managed a full nights sleep but before I slept I got comfy on the sofa and watched TV. A decent sized desk and chair are also available. Breakfast left me a bit disappointed, it was all relatively nice but the eggs were horrible powdered things and tasted tank. Overall I would recommend a stay here for a short term but if you in for the long haul the breakfast would become boring by day 2

      I can’t speak highly enough of the staff at check-in here. We only stayed for one night as a stopover but they went out of their way to ensure we had everything required and more, even giving us a free upgrade to a family suite on arrival. Our young daughter was given a free activity pack on arrival to keep her occupied and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve experienced at this type of hotel.

      Campanile Hotel Northampton

      We stayed here for one night. Check in was easy and the staff on the desk were friendly. We registered our car right away and were asked by reception if we had done this. I am not sure how people get fines as there is signage absolutely everywhere! The room was ok, clean. Not keen on the neon green decoration and I feel it cheapens the room. Bathroom was nice, however the shower is designed in a way that the water will run into the rest of the bathroom, so I had to keep turning it on and off to allow the water to drain. You only get 2 towels, no hand towels. There is also no hairdryer in the room - you have to request it from reception. Breakfast was great. It was included in our price, otherwise its £9 for the buffet. May who was helping at breakfast was so sweet and helpful.
