Renovated hotel, Art Deco style, the room is relatively clean, the disadvantage is that there is no free bottled water in the room, and the hotel parking is $ 25, but it happened to catch up with the weekend when you checked in, and parking was free by the roadside. The overall staying experience was average and the price / performance ratio was ok.
This place is in need of a health inspector. It's dirty unhygienic and we would never come back. First we booked two rooms through bookings.com and we requested a ground floor and email was sent to us saying we cannot request this through bookings we had to do it over the phone , when we called we were told it's another ten dollars on top of the 128$ quoted through bookings and we had to pay this on arrival, I was gobsmacked as my parents were elderly and could not walk up stairs. Then after asking why this is not on their website they just said it's their rule's. After agreeing because it was late then they requested yet another ten dollars for each card for door key one of the reception lady's was not very nice and the owner told her stop let me deal with customer. By now I was tired and just said ok. Got to parents room and after settling them going to my room and returning to mum for her to tell me there's cockroach above her head I then proceeded to go to office at 8pm (not meant to shut till 10) the office was closed so I had to kill it myself on ceiling after check room the toilet seat was dirty around seat edges, the piping from toilet to wall disgusting the window edges filthy there was a dirty stained old fashioned toilet holder hanging, the whole room was dusty the plates and cups mum had to re wash them before using they just weren't clean. Upon going back to my room which was generally ok but went into bathroom and I was gobsmacked to see the hairdryer was kept together with black tape photos attached. This is complete fire hazard but lucky I didn't need to use it. The hotel grounds were old dated. Also earlier the wifi wasn't working when I went to speak to lady in office she was rude abrupt just kept shrugging her shoulders saying working working (language barrier) I asked her if she could help me and all she said was try it outside we did not have wifi all night. We travel alot and this is not a nice place to stay.
Highly recommend this place for a couple. The apartment was a perfect size for 2 people and was clean, tidy and comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of cafes etc within walking distance and the tram into the cbd is just around the corner. The carpark is very tight, had to be very careful not to scrape the walls. The paint marks on the walls shows how many people have struggled with this. Would definitely stay again.
I really strongly recommend that it is similar to a hotel apartment, and then has its own kitchen double room. In fact, that room can accommodate four people, but I didn't know it at the time, so I lived alone and felt a little wasteful. I bought the beef from my own food. It was very convenient and convenient to cook at night. Every room has a washing machine and a clothes dryer. The man has a bucket. Anyway, it is very good. Ok, if everyone If you are traveling with a few people, you must top this place. It is similar to a hotel apartment, and then has its own kitchen double room. In fact, that room can accommodate four people, but I didn't know it at the time, so I lived alone, I felt a little waste, I bought 15 of my own. Beef, it’s very, very convenient to cook at night, and every room has a washing machine and a dryer. But it’s very good anyway. Well, if everyone is traveling with a few people, be sure to Top this place.
Although the decoration is ordinary, but the price is very high, there is a public kitchen for cooking, the parking lot is safe, and the parking space is sufficient. The location is close to the city center and you can walk around.
Except for being a little far from the station, everything else is very good, everything is clean and orderly, after all, it is YHA, as always, good. Highly recommended for friends traveling alone. But there is no lobby. After checking out, I can only sit in the courtyard at the door ...
Good location, very close to the University of Melbourne and ct, the surrounding environment is very good, the room is small, but the facilities are complete, the kitchen utensils are basically complete, and it is basically enough to cook. It is a good choice for accommodation near the University of Melbourne. The experience of staying is very bad. Reception no one has a key letter box, but there is no update mailbox password, which has delayed more than half an hour.
Park Squire Motor Inn and Serviced Apartments We stayed here for 1 night as we live in the country and had a wedding to attend in Ascot Vale. We originally thought we would catch the tram outside the motel to the venue but ended up getting a taxi because I’m really too old to be wearing high heels! It was great that we could leave our car in the secure car park. The motel is situated on an extremely busy road and intersection so we were worried about the noise. We COULD hear the traffic noise in the distance but not as bad as I thought it would be. And we didn’t hear anything at night. All the rooms that I could see were up a flight of stairs with no lift which would be problematic for people with mobility issues. I do believe they have some ground floor accomodation but didn’t see it. It was fine for us in our 70s. Check in was easy with the friendly staff and we set off to find our room. To tell the truth, the exterior has seen better days. I remember the motel back in the 60s! But we were pleasantly surprised on finding our room. It looked clean and modern. There was a queen and a single bed. I don’t know what sort of room description to give it. I thought we had just booked an ordinary room. There was a reasonably sized TV, 2 club chairs, a fridge and coffee making facilities. We were also happy about the free wifi. The beds were comfortable for us as we like a medium mattress. The bathroom was modern and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will stay here again.
This hotel is new, shiny and comfortable. Upgraded as Marriott Gold which is never expected but always appreciated. Check in very pleasant with a glass of bubbly. Did not get to try the breakfast. 10 min walk from Southern Cross and close to Victoria Market. Just outside the free tram zone.
The hotel is conveniently located with a convenience store, buses, and close to attractions. Service and hygiene are also good. It is very convenient to live in an apartment hotel in Australia. You can buy and cook in the supermarket yourself. It's just that there is an induction cooker in the room.
Good location, convenient to go anywhere. The commercial music downstairs in the evening is a bit noisy, probably after 22:00. It’s very convenient to eat, leaving it. On the night of arrival, because the plane got late late, the hotel reception was off work at 20:00, but I met two foreign guys to help me solve the check in, and also guided me to the door of the room. Really feel that everything is beautiful and harmonious
l like that the hotel is close to Victoria market which makes exploring the city much easier. Very comfortable and clean room. I like that the room is quiet. But the window look out to blocks of apartments, so not the best outcome. overall enjoyed my stay.
Not bad, in the city, it is very convenient to go shopping and eat, super convenient, the room is a bit small, but acceptable, the hotel can't park, you have to park in the parking lot outside, for 5 days, the parking fee is more than 200 dollars
It's a beautiful cool boutique apartment loft style hotel with cute cool things in the lobby and very nice staff and the rooms we had a 2 bedroom suite, are super cool, lovely minimal furniture and great location. Amazing beds and bathroom no bath tub in our room maybe you have to ask for a bathtub room or they dont have them I didnt ask. Theres 24 hour reception and no intercom. Great hotel all up!
The hotel was booked for sleep but it was the best value. The location was good and the bathroom was public but clean. There was no air conditioning in the room but there was a fan and there was also a fridge and tv. Rooms were clean and comfortable for 3 nights. If you visit Melbourne again, you are willing to return.
I lived in Langting for two days before I exchanged for Sofitel, sofitel felt better!
First of all, the sound insulation is better, the location is more convenient, and the facilities are updated. It is necessary to turn off the lights one button at a time in Lang Ting. It feels like a hotel in the 1980s in China! The room service here is also good. You can choose it on your iPad, and you don't need to call to call!
1. The kind of Jinshan in the bathroom! I don't know what kind of design of that half partition is!
2. Except for the free water on the first day, you have to call to ask for water in the next few days!
3. Don't do a night turn!
I strongly recommend The Vibe. The staff are professional and friendly. The hotel is very conveniently located, within 5-15 min walking distance or a tram ride to all the Melbourne attractions, shopping districts, and great cafes. The room was very comfortable, clean, and tidy. The only thing missing in the room was an extra stool or chair for two people to work on the table. The placement of the table was perfectly facing Southbank. The views from the room were fantastic !!! Stayed in a corner Urban Room which had floor-to-ceiling windows facing the end of flinders st, opposite our room we could see the whole length of Southbank down to the Convention center, a view of the PWC building and the Eureka Tower, towards our left corner window we had the perfect view of the Flinders St station and Clock tower (that faces Elizabeth St). Would stay here again when I am next in Melbourne.
The hotel is an apartment type, a bit like a small hotel in Hong Kong. It is located in a good location. It is located at the intersection of Chinatown, 5 minutes to the commercial mall, and the restaurant in Chinatown is very good, and it is a shop that foreigners like every day. Are lined up in line! Reported two groups to the Great Ocean Road and the steam train, the meeting point is very convenient at the hotel entrance
The Mövenpick Melbourne is a modern and clean hotel in a quite central location. Breakfast comes with reasonable choices and in rather good quality. Staff is friendly and always open for a small talk. Good sauna and pool facilities. With 28m of length the saltwater pool invites for an everyday swim. Reasoning why giving 4 out of 5 stars only - Pool area has half open side windows, so it felt a bit chilly and results in noise and emissions from the street. - The building is likely one of the prettiest of the city. However, the hotel just runs the lowest 6 floors, so the outlook is not very spectacular. A roof-top bar would be a great lift up. - The rooms receive quite a bit of noise from the train station and tram lines close by. There are no balconies, nor it makes sense to open the windows. - Even I love Nespresso, Melbourne is known for it's coffee culture. At the coffee bar you need to add extra-shots to your Flat White to make it a decent coffee experience. - Breakfast is good but very classic. Other hotels in Melbourne at this class offer a much wider choice of fusion kitchen from Europe to Asia. Choices of fruits could be more exotic. Wider range of cheeses and sausages would be worth adding. Not much changes day over day - so might become boring if staying longer than a week. - At the day of arrival you get two bottles of water (complementary) but not refilled during the stay. Nespresso in-room not refilled on 2 out of 5 nights.
The most wonderful experience. The staff are absolute professionals, they are helpful and friendly in every possible way. The location is brilliant and the room was fantastic. We will certainly be back.
Maybe it was just in time for the hotel to have a conference, and I was a little overwhelmed, but on the whole, it still maintains the service quality of the chain hotels. In terms of cost performance, considering that it is a holiday, it is still economical. If parking, you can consider the surrounding Wilson, which is more affordable than hotel self-parking.
The room was clean and tidy. Every day there were people cleaning up the signs. Like other hotels, there are no slippers, toothbrushes, and the kettle is expected to ask at the front desk. Anyway, we bought the water ourselves. The hotel is very good next to Chinatown. It ’s easy to walk
The hotel was amazing especially the friendly staff, they will make you feel like you're at home all the times. However, I really need to give SERIOUS advise to the owner to do the pest treatment at least once a month cause there was a little rat hiding under our bed. I was terrified when my partner woke me up and told me the rat was running out from our bed and watching us under the table beside the TV. We could've taken a picture when it starred at us but I was totally freaked out so I quickly rang the front desk, there was no one answering the phone. And I ran out of the room, went straight to the front desk and told the staff about this. He managed to find another room on a different level for us (level 9 to level 8), exactly at the same location. We understand that it wasn't the staff's fault but we're really ended up with no sleeping for that whole night
It’s a really good service apartment in prime location. however, they cannot provide me with a carpark while I have 2 very young kids with me. Remember to contact them and pre book your carpark if u gonna drive. All car parks around are ridiculously expensive and difficult to park.
Room is clean and swimming pool, sauna are amazing. I had a great afternoon with my children there.
We will come back again.
The hotel has free breakfast, but didn't get up to eat, I don't know how. The location of the hotel is very good. The free bus station is out of town and there is a lot of food. Most of the surrounding attractions are within walking distance. But the only very big problem is that there are no slippers, no shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and the hotel does not provide it. After asking, I was told that I could buy it myself, which is a bit troublesome and unreasonable.
Nice place to stay. A little noisey from passing trams and Friday night partying from the passing crowd, but a very comfortable place to stay. Quest is very centrally located and a short walk to Chinatown and Flinders Lane's great food.
Great location very near to QVM. No view from room as we checked in late, not ideal as we spent 3 days in isolation looking at next door office and construction site. Worthwhile to get a better view room next time. However staff on duties are very nice and polite and helpful.
No real complaints with the Quest St Kilda Road. It's a well run apart hotel with a helpful reception who really went out of their way to assisting us getting into the underground car park. Rooms are clean with everything you need. There were a few chargeable essentials included in the food department although it is no big deal going down the road to the 7-11 for a small shop. You can pay extra for parking which I can thoroughly recommend if you have a car as street level and public car parks are pricey. Liked how plenty of space here on the -4 floor below ground level. If one complaint it would be how the concrete outer structure blocks the light through the windows. Very small issue a d one that cannot be resolved easily!
I booked this hotel for me and my girlfriends to celebrate my hens weekend together. We had beautiful rooms that were a lovely base for a relaxing weekend of dinners, drinks and catching up.
The location is great, everything is an easy walk or tram ride away and you have lots of options for dining.
The pool facilities being open late was a real novelty and we loved a night swim in the pool.
My only deduction for service was that I am used to a higher level of personalised service from my travels, particularly when it is a special occasion.
The location of the hotel has nothing to say, first-class, service is also very good ～ It is that disposable slippers and toothbrushes on the facilities will not be placed in. You need to call and ask them every day to ～ Maybe it is for environmental protection!
It was disappointing because we booked online (booking.com) and specified two single beds in our room. I then called the Quincy Hotel reception to confirm this however when we arrived our room had 1 king bed. We were then told we needed to change rooms, with no help to move our luggage. Our room key to retrieve our luggage from our original room then didn't work. Our TV remote and phone in our new room did not work and after all of this we were offered a free breakfast for our trouble and we were then told by reception that we didn't have a free breakfast after trying to take the hotel up on this offer. Eventually we were given a free breakfast on our way out, however the whole stay was hard work when my son and I were hoping for the opposite and to relax. I am never one to complain, but I feel in this case I need to be honest. As a business owner myself, it's clear to me that your hotel is very poor with your internal communication.
Needs a complete update, looks tired, especially the bathroom, TV was small, no TV in the bedroom, dishes needed to be cleaned a bit better, understand COVID has impacted the industry but does need to be updated.
Besides issue with check-in on arrival (hotel had not taken payment from the travel agent that I had already paid in advance through), very good experience for my son and I and my friends. We had adjoining Suites and the rooms were huge, compared to other hotels in the city it was in a quiet location - so no noisy nightclub revellers and close to China Town and walk to MCG
Room was nice and cosy found a good bargain through trip.com that saved me over 100 dollars rather then booming directly with the hotel and on Anzac weekend too. Easy to find easy to get in and out of great location friendly staff would reccomend staying here for sure.
