Fantastic hotel. Good location - the hotel is located right across the street from Wright State University & around the corner from everything in Beavercreek (the mall & all the shops by it). Very clean & neat room. The kitchen & pet-friendliness are a huge plus. The star of this hotel, however, is the staff. They are all so helpful & kind & excellent at both their jobs & making you feel welcome. Housekeeping crew is great as well. Misty, Katie, Holly, & especially Steph go above & beyond for you to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. These ladies are a real asset to this company.

I'm a Hilton Gold member and have stayed at several Hilton brand properties since Covid. This brand concept is just not my style but I can see why others may like it. Pros - low cost of the hotel - we only needed a one night stay while touring the museum. - the evening desk clerk was very friendly and overworked - the place was packed and he was doing it all alone with a great attitude. - Housekeeping staff I saw Sunday morning was very friendly every time I passed her. Cons that the property can't help -Walls are paper thin - we were woke up several times - can hear everything - Pool is very small for as many rooms and the fact they cater to family groups Cons the property could help fix - Breakfast was sad - I've not seen anything so scarce during covid - I think they ran out and really had no one attending. Ran out of coffee and it took a long while to refill. Packaged bagel and cereal was it really - well and oatmeal. - We were in the pool (limit of 10 is on the sign at the door) we had to leave when two large groups brought that total to over 17. The one guy working can't monitor that and people can't read - maybe make a bigger sign. Bottom line - we just needed a place to sleep and relax for the evening and were gone the next morning early. For the price we paid it met the need but the overall concept for the brand is not for me.

My wife and I recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at this hotel and everything was perfect! The event planner, Dawn, was very professional and helpful. She guided us through the process for selecting the best banquet room for our number of guests and configuring the room for the wedding ceremony and reception. She also gave us excellent advice on options for table center pieces and other items related to room set-up, table linen colors, food choices, and places to rent specialty items. The event staff was top notch and very customer service focused, so the execution of the event was flawless. The event Team Lead Manager, Steve, was exceptional and ensured everything ran smoothly. It really could not have been any better. I highly recommend this hotel for hosting events. Also, my wife and I spent the night at the hotel, and several out of town guests also stayed in the hotel, and we were all very happy with the quality and cleanliness of the rooms. Several out of town guests brought their family pets and they were very happy this Holiday Inn is pet friendly. I highly recommend this hotel for special events and also for when you just need a hotel room. The staff is professional, friendly, and customer focused and clearly focused on exceeding customer requirements.

We were very impressed by the front desk manager, Rick’s, kindness, professionalism and willingness to help. He is a true asset to this facility. Extended stays can be challenging and he handled our situation with grace. Thank you Rick!

Chose the Clarion Hotel since is was somewhat reasonably priced and located near the US Air Force Museum and Dayton Aviation Museum. Comparing this hotel to all the other hotels during our 14 day road trip my hubby and I thought this hotel was our least favorite. The indoor pool was unsuitable for swimming, our room was just okay but had a slightly unpleasant smell plus the window was open and couldn't be closed. I went to the front desk and a nice man finally got the window to close after quite a hassle. As other reviewers noted the crowded lobby and hallways needed renovations. We stayed for two nights which cost us $250, not unreasonable but more than we had paid on a nightly basis even for a 1 bedroom suite at a Staybridge Suites. Since many of the neighboring hotels were either sold out or offered higher nightly rates, we felt compelled to book this hotel during our stay. If we were to return to Dayton I would not stay here again.

Everyone we met from the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. My wife inadvertently left her bathing suit in our room. I contacted the hotel and they informed me they had it. They also made arrangements to ship it to us. I cannot thank them enough.

Stayed while attending Hanvention in Xenia. Older tired property typical of many off brand budget motels. Room was reasonably clean & adequate with fridge, microwave, wifi for our 3 day stay. Staff was pleasant & helpful. Parking was free & easy. Pleasantly surprised by decent small local places to eat nearby.
