We stayed here last year after booking as part of a BA package and I'm so glad we did! The staff are all really friendly and helpful and when we got there they'd upgraded us to a suite as it was our first wedding anniversary, they even left some goodies in the room. The suite was lovely, so spacious with a MASSIVE comfy bed and the toiletries in the bathroom were great quality too. Didn't have much of a view from the room but that doesn't matter when we weren't in it much. It's a great location, close to central park, grand central station, Rockefeller, times square etc. I'd say the only drawback to the area is the nightlife - it was either really expensive hotel bars or Irish pubs, nothing really in between. Next time we visit New York I would probably stay further down so that we experience different areas but I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it!

With minor hesitation, we traveled to Manhattan from California. We were pleasantly surprised how well the city has dealt with the COVID challenges. At all times we felt safe and were reassured of the hotel’s safe practices. Although many places are closed, many are open as well. Central Park was fabulous as always, we ate in restaurants that may have been impossible to get into during regular tourist season. The rooftop lounge at the hotel is open and lovely as ever. We had cappuccinos on the rooftop each morning while contemplating our next move. If you go, say hi to Arian and Ymir, the best hosts ever!!

I stayed here during the COVID 19 scare, needing a few days outside of my own apartment for my mental health and a change of location. The staff were very courteous and upgraded me to a suite, free of charge. The beds were soft and clean, and despite being in the middle of midtown there is great soundproofing and my stay felt serene. Enjoyed the full bath and bathrobe. Didn't take advantage of the room service but they are affilitated/attached to an Indochinese restaurant that I know to be very good. Will definitely recommend to my family and friends that they stay here--whenever they are allowed to visit again!

Came here in feb 2020 for my partners 40th bday with the kids. Child friendly. Lovely rooms great view fab location. 15/20min walk to Times Square, seems far but it’s nice to walk along the side streets before getting to the busy Times Square. The staff here are simply amazing. I haven’t got a bad thing to say .... not one! Calvin is fab, knows the area so don’t be afraid to ask. He looks big and strong but he’s a gentle giant. He’s literally the best - we miss you x Rome (Romeo) my kids loved this guy. Couldn’t wait to see him every-time we went to the lobby. Tell the kids to look out for him, he’s magic! He’s the guy in the top hat. When I come back to New York, we will be staying here again. No doubt!

This location was perfect for what my spouse and I needed when she had surgery in NYC and the surgeon required that she stay within an hour of the (Manhattan) hospital for two weeks post-op. Our room (apartment!) gave us the space to give her privacy when she needed it and the full kitchen meant we could bring and cook a lot of our own food to save some money since we were there for nearly a month total. The apartment definitely showed signs that it was well-lived-in and was an older building, but it was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Our room was on the street side of the building and there was definitely street noise as you would expect in NYC. We were here in the fall, early enough that the window A/C units were still installed but late enough that they weren't needed. Management was very helpful and arranged for the window units to be removed early in our stay, which really helped cut down noise since we could fully close the windows (two separate sliding windows, with a shade in between them -- good sound insulation). The galley kitchen included a large saucepan, large stock/pasta pot, strainer, and skillet for cookware, along with a toaster that could accommodate bagels. We cooked pasta several times, and made fried or boiled eggs for breakfasts. Most of the rest of our home-cooked food was things we froze and brought with us to reheat since we arrived by car and had space for a cooler. It might be difficult to do more serious cooking but being able to supplement already-prepared foods was nice. Full size fridge and freezer, full size cooktop/oven, microwave, and a dishwasher. There's a good pizza place literally downstairs, and a deli/bagel shop around the corner that has fast delivery and really excellent corned beef. We were here during Covid times, so we never had housekeeping come into the room while we were there. Every day the front desk would call to see if we needed housekeeping supplies, and we could put our bagged trash and any dirty towels/linens outside our door for collection. Supplies we requested were also left outside our door for us to pick up. All of the staff we interacted with were great! Robert, the manager, answered my questions when I called to get details about things before we arrived. Mariela, Eddie, and Dana at the front desk (and Durak the head of housekeeping who sometimes also staffed the front desk) were friendly and helpful. When we ordered food or groceries to be delivered, they received the deliveries and called up to the room to let us know it had arrived - due to Covid, delivery people were not allowed past the lobby. The entry and lobby are very small and narrow so just be prepared for that when going in and out. We drove our own car for a variety of reasons, and parked in the valet garage down the block. The hotel-arranged overnight price is VERY reasonable for Manhattan. I could have set up a monthly parking contract elsewhere and saved a bit of money, but it w

By far the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay at in New York for over 20 years! Everything - from cleanliness and upkeep of the property - to the kind and helpful staff at the desk and in the lounge - was perfect. Melvin at the front desk was there for our check-in and so patient and professional. The staff in the lounge for breakfast was always there to refill what was low or tend to the guests immediately. they made us feel like we had been here dozens of times and were welcoming us home. The rooms are clean and well maintained. What sets this hotel apart is the lounge on the 2nd floor - breakfast is included so the layout was simple but delicious. The layout of the lounge is like being in your own living room with relaxing music always playing. Never gets too loud or rowdy. Coffee tea and random snacks are always available. There is a wine reception daily from 5-6 which we were able to catch once. Cheese and crackers and some grapes to go with your glass of wine. Overall, I will be making this hotel my home for every future trip and am so happy with our entire experience. I would recommend it for couples, small groups of friends and anyone looking for a boutique experience which is both luxurious and hip at the same time. If you’re looking for a downside - it could be the cost and “resort fee” which catches some visitors by surprise upon their exit. But with the state of other hotels in the city and what you get for your money - it is DEFINITELY worth the extra spend! To the staff at this hotel - thank you for making our anniversary such an amazing and unforgettable experience in the city. Will definitely be back on our next trip. N.A. (Canada)

While I am definitely not a fan of the Bonvoy theme colors (I.e. brown carpet and green wall...) this was a tremendous hotel stay in a ghost town that is New York at the moment, where it is normally busy Manhattan. The staff are exceptional and despite COVID, we are stocked full and extremely happy with our corner suite. The TV in the bedroom with Netflix (input your info) is so super... bed is really comfy. We got a noise complaint hahaha but that's NYC, walls are thin and floors' sounds carry. We heard a few things in our stay but it didn't keep us up at night. Thanks for a great stay.

Walk in to the hotel and greeted at the front desk by Mimi - she is a rockstar. The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to help out any request. I traveled into the city for business during COVID and was exceptionally pleased with the measures the hotel has put in place to ensure cleanliness and reduce contact. The hotel room was fantastic, the AC was ice cold and the room was spotless. great water pressure in the showers too. Nothing tops a corner view from the 29th floor looking straight down third ave. i will be back!!

The hotel is conveniently located in the midtown of Midtown Manhattan. The nearby attractions within a 10-minute walk are the Trump Tower, the United Nations Headquarters Building, the Lexington Av-53 st station, the E, M exit, and 5 walks. -7 minutes, free ice water, computer, printer, and room in the downstairs are relatively small, we are a big bed room, two 28 boxes open a little hard, the bathroom door has no support, except In addition, it is also good, there is a 50 pre-authorization deposit at the front desk, almost received an additional tax, be sure to remind him whether your ctrip order already contains all the taxes, or deduct a sum of money, we almost

Stayed there for 4 days and it was probably the worst Hilton brand experience I ever had! 1. Room A/C is noisy !! And it's right next to the bed! Was in room 901 had to down grade to 405 because the A/C in 901 sounds like a train running on rail! Moved to 405 it got better but not that much better, sounds like a airplane cabin instead. 2. If you book king bed with walkout balcony, you will be surprised how much you are misleaded to think there is a balcony. It's literally a balcony about 10 inches out. The only way to get a real balcony is to get a room to the back side, but note that there is no table or chair. It's pretty much no good. By the way if you get a king bed, it's so tiny you don't even get a table to eat on. And the queen bed with desk gets you a table that's falling apart for 1 person to eat on. Plus I am sure that queen bed is not even real queen size. It's really like a full size bed. It doesn't even fill the entire bed frame they had there. 3. Poorly maintained and not clean! With all the covid19 going around you'd think they make sure they clean it well. But nope they don't. There is mold in the bathroom glass and shower. They uses pump bottle instead of one time use shampoo. There is a fridge in the room and it wasn't wiped down. Table … nope not clean, night stand..Nope not clean, coffee maker , nope not clean, the capsules were missing and not refilled when we checked into the room. The book on shelf display has dust on it so it's not wiped down. Tv has alot of finger oil prints on it. And the floor omg so dirty. The vents from the A/C is so dirty it's unbelievable, while it's also poorly designed. You can have the a/C blow at your face all night (with blackout blind open) or running full power all night (with blackout blind closed... Because the blackout blinds are right on top of the A/C vent. Yup so you can sleep cold and bright or hot and dark. Did I mention the shelf's and lights are broken as well? 4. Weed! You like weed?! If you do, you'd love this hotel, in this hotel people smokes weed and even if you report to the front desk in this smoke free hotel, they don't do anything. They say they will charge them cleaning fee. But how's that going to solve my issue of enjoying a drug and smoke free hotel? Nothing. You get to smell it every night, especially in the elevator. When I report it, they ask me if I can identify which exact room it's coming from. Yup they expect you to be the drug sniffing dog from the airport. 5. You don't get anything. Gold member gets 2 bottle of water for the entire stay total! if you remember to ask them. No breakfast, no upgrade, nothing else. Yup nothing else is available to you from this hotel, no slipper. In fact if you want new towel you gotta ask for it. Do you own cleaning or request it daily. 6. After they changed my room, their system charge me the wrong rate. I had to ask them to fix it. Well front desk told me, I had to call Hilton honors to fix it myself. They can't do it. Too

Myself and my boyfriend have just stayed at this hotel for a week. Upon first entering the hotel I was really disappointed as it is much more run down and ‘rustic’ than the images show online. The hotel definitely needs som TLC and updating, don’t be put off by this the first time you enter, as after the first night staying in the hotel I realised I had a fantastic nights sleep and I had to just take the hotel as it was.... dated but quaint and homely in what is a very busy crazy city! It is in a FANTASTIC location! Approx 15 min walk to Times Square which was brilliant and only 5 minutes walk to 5th Avenue! The staff were lovely, polite and couldn’t do enough for you! The breakfast they offer is literally just granola, yoghurt and your standard fruit, so don’t get your hopes up with a breakfast! However dunkin doughnuts and Starbuck are right next door! It also is opposites deli (a small supermarket which was great for getting some bits). Overall I would say that the hotel needs to update and take a little more pride in their rooms- we had bleach stains on the carpet, sofa and curtains which was strange but once you realise all you want to do is sleep and be cosy after a busy day in newYork, you realise it provides just that!

Booked a room for April 2020. Covid-19 caused our booking to be cancelled by the hotel, who promised a full refund within 60 days. Two months later and without a penny of the promised refund, I got in touch to ask if they were still refunding my stay. They replied bluntly that they would not be able to honour a refund but could offer room credit for the future. Being from the UK, this presented a bit of a problem as we are still not able to travel to the US. I chased this up a few times more and was met with abysmally vague responses about the refund they promised. I was asked to get in touch again when normal business resumes, which in the current climate might not be until 2022 so I declined to wait. Eventually, I received an email saying I could pursue a refund via my bank and they would not contest any dispute. The Pod Hotel must have known at this point that waiting over 120 days after a VISA transaction nullifies any request from the customer for a chargeback from VISA and they could get away with not having to refund. This is despite, as I am happy to reiterate and highlight, Pod51 saying that they would process a full refund. I am still pursuing this refund with my bank and have been advised to take this up with International Trading Standards too. Pod51 were disingenuous from the outset and to renege on promising a refund is absolutely shocking business practice. I do not recommend Pod51 at all. Take your business elsewhere and enjoy NYC without the hassle of dealing with this bunch of thieves.

The hotel's configuration is good, dishwasher, microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator, dishes and cutlery are very full! It's just that the scoop and shovel are not easy to use, but you can do it! The hotel room is large, a dressing room, and two large closets. There is an anteroom in the entrance. The kitchen has an island and a dining table. The family is definitely very relaxed. But the shortcomings are too prominent, that is, the refrigerator is very noisy. At night, the noise is not good at all. The sound of the air conditioner is louder and the heat is very fast. It is sleeping in an air conditioner. The noise feels like sleeping in the open hood. Next to it, the booming night collapsed! If the air conditioner is turned off first, the second refrigerator is still very noisy and can't be turned off, so sleep and fear the noise to give up! In addition, the curtains are blinds, and they are not shaded at all. This is not human! Let's talk about the advantages. The hotel is just outside the Wall Street subway station. There is an exit on the 2. and 3 lines in the hotel. It is especially convenient. It is also very close to the 4th and 5th lines! The hotel is very convenient for transportation. It is a 5-minute walk from Trinity Church and a 10-minute walk from Wall Street Copper Bull. The opposite side of Tongniu is the Museum of American Indians. The building is particularly beautiful! It’s also about 10 minutes walk from the boat dock to see the Statue of Liberty. It’s really convenient, and the surrounding security is better. There are not so many tramps! The hotel has a big food supermarket for 3 minutes. The food for cooking can be fully purchased. Turn right and go straight for 5 minutes. There is a very complete daily necessities supermarket. It is also convenient. In short, in addition to huge noise, other The place is worth experiencing, the bathroom is easy to use, the toiletries are all L'Occitane, the mattress is soft but comfortable, the pillows and quilts are also very soft and comfortable, the bed is USB charging and humanized, except for the bathroom mirror I don’t know what to do with the nonsense owls. It’s very scary to go to the toilet in the middle of the night. The others are very human! In addition, I saw that there is a guest feedback that there is no smoke exhauster. In fact, I have not found a place. The switch of the smoke exhauster is on the microwave oven. The light is the light of the hood. The FAN is the switch of the smoke exhauster. The blinds next to the air conditioner outlet are seen. It is one piece, it is actually a cover, and the air conditioner switch is hidden inside.

My boyfriend and I spent the night here awhile ago and we couldn't be happier with our stay. The hotel feels very sexy so it was perfect for our little staycation. We're right next to Times Square so we got to be tourist in our city. The rooftop is gorgeous. We had the king suite overlooking the street with wall to wall windows. It was a great change and escape from our tiny Brooklyn apartment. Would highly recommend for a sexy night in NY:) Also shout out to the GM Jeremy Poon if he's still there. Amazing hospitality from the bellman to the front desk to the housekeeping team.

1. Good location: 9/11 new building and Memorial Museum just outside the window. 2. Convenient for travel. It takes 3 minutes to walk to New York's line 1, 2, 3, E, R, W. Taking a taxi is also very convenient. 3. Good service: there are people in the lobby 24 hours, and a deposit of 250 yuan for 5 nights. 4. The room size is OK and the facilities are complete.

I was going to NYC to see Elton John and was to stay at The New Yorker. Well... neither happened. I had made non-refundable reservations but called the hotel to see if their policy would change during this crisis. Every person I spoke to was so nice and helpful. One person that really stood out was Neida Aldama, a supervisor at the front desk. She was incredibly kind and compassionate about the situation, and offered that my prepayment be used as a credit that I can apply anytime in the next year (hopefully if/when Elton John reschedules!!). I feel that this was very generous, given the fact that they had every right to tell me I was SOL. Neida even went so far as to call me to directly answer a question I had. I know that they are dealing with a lot and are working with a skeleton crew, so that phone call really blew me away. Thank you Neida and The New Yorker!

It ’s not the time to come out this time to catch the epidemic every day. This hotel is not cost-effective. The deposit is 600. Breakfast is basic for more than 100. Every night, the food is delivered to the room for more than 130. The 600 deposit is not enough. I ca n’t say that the deposit is refundable. The bathroom is super small, especially the shower and hand basin. What ’s wrong? Drop the ensuite sofa into the toilet. The sofa can be turned into a bed. I think the next time I go I will choose to live in New Jersey across the Madison River to see the buildings in Manhattan. It was so noisy that at least ten policemen were parked downstairs 24 hours a day.

I’m going to tell you a secret and you have to promise not to tell anyone. You can taste New York without New York money. How? The eminent Concorde hotel. I’m here now, writing this review. It’s midnight and the Upper East Side looks so beautiful from up here. This window is four times the size of my body and yet I feel so large. It’s all in the room, I think. It makes me feel like I’m Wilson Fisk. I'm Tony Stark. I'm Bruce Wayne upon Gotham. In this moment, I run New York. Wait a moment. Something caught my eye. I wonder why a single room light is on the 61st floor of the Bloomberg building? Is Mike home? You really need to see the Bloomberg building at midnight from this floor. What a view. Back to the Concorde. Every place is defined by its people, so let’s talk folk. All Concorde staff I encountered were excellent, from the courteous doormen to the tireless housekeepers. A few to note: the amiable Christopher Shepard, the efficient Rada Drascovic, the soigné Dukens Alexandre. They exemplify luxury hospitality. Meet them and consider yourself lucky. Look, we all agree that that hospitality in New York is a gamble, regardless of star ratings or thousands paid. Well, not the Concorde – it’s consistently well reviewed as far as excellence in customer service and I got to experience first-hand why. New York is not known for consistency in anything. I was impressed. Let’s now talk about the space. Understand that this hotel is less boutique and more New York history. It was born as a residential high-rise owned by a major airline to provide exclusive lodging to visiting crew. Keep in mind that corporations take it very seriously that the people flying their billion-dollar aircraft get the pinnacle of luxury for their night’s rest. So, you will too. The Concorde is designed with your comfort in mind. That’s why every floor only has four rooms. That’s why the beds are so soft. That’s why the soothing tones of mid-century modern mellow your eyes. That’s why I’m typing this with my laptop on a marble table top. That’s why… the bathrooms. Oh, the bathrooms. God damn. We’re talking bathrooms the size of a New York city studio. Professional vanity mirror taking up a warehouse chunk of wall real estate. Walk-in shower and soaking tub. That’s right - and. Have you ever finished a run in Central Park with a perfectly-temperature-controlled Bahamas waterfall of a chilled shower, soak your tired muscles in a home spa of a soothing bubble bath, then back to the Bahamas you go? I have. A bit about the amenities. Well, there’s the essential WIFI, but note that you can ask for a network cable for better Zooming or Teaming. 92 Mbps down / 94 Mbps up during my stay, by the way. My TV is quite big and has all the usual channels and music. A fridge (mind you, much mini) lets me keep a few refreshments cool for when needed. Finally, an iron and board in the room let me have my pilot uniform looking crisp for my flight out.
