We stayed 3 nights at Tatra Hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and adequately equipped including comfy beds, kettle for tea & coffee etc. The hotel is located on a busy street, about 10 minutes walk into the centre of the old town. Breakfeast was excellent, offered great options from fresh fruit, chees, vegetable, cooked food etc. Sparkling wine was also available. Good value for money and would definitely recommended.

I stayed for four days at this hotel and attended a conference held at the hotel. This hotel is ideal for this type of meeting. The hotel is located near the historic centre of Bratislava, which is ideal for exploring all the interesting places on foot. All common areas of the hotel and conference rooms are modern, functional, and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and always available. The room I had is on the top floor, with a beautiful view of the Presidential Palace. It is nicely furnished and very comfortable. The cleaning is perfect. Breakfast and other meals, served as a buffet, are very good and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Bratislava, whether for tourism or for professional reasons.

At the time of check-in, the big brother at the front desk said that your room is relatively small. If you like, you can add money to the big room. The two of us think that we can make do with it, but the strange thing is that I don’t know why it is called a luxury apartment. It feels too different from the picture! The man’s entrance is estimated to be in the bedroom and the toilet is not small. I don’t know if it is for the Chinese. This is because the previous comments are also the case. The health is not to suck the ground, only to change Hand paper and garbage, if the budget is surplus, it is not recommended to live, because the room is too small, go to bed in the bedroom, like Japan, too crowded, check-in needs to pay city tax, the front desk brother is more enthusiastic, but reflects the pillow too High, no one is changing, sleeping straight

Just stayed here for 2 nights with a friend. The hotel is about 2 miles out from the centre of Bratislava. It’s a 5 euro taxi into the centre or there is a bus stop nearby. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and no hassle. We had room 202 on the top floor. The twin room was clean and modern. Everything you could need for a nice stay was there. Great shower facilities. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. The room has a flat screen tv. The hotel provides breakfast for 8 euros if you want it. The hotel location is very quiet but close enough to the city centre. Great stay in Bratislava.

After our car broke down, the insurance managed our accommodation, and thus we ended up here in this hotel. rooms were totally clean, and the toilet, and shower were also clean. room had enough towels and everything we need. tv had normal tv channels. I think it wasn't connected to the internet, so, no youtube or any other internet based entertainment. some restaurants were very close to the place , but the main tourist attractions were too far to go on foot. You need a car/taxi/uber. Very close to the airport though.

Stayed here in November , The Hotel is beautifully situated on the banks of the Danube and right at the edge of the old city which means it is easy to walk to all the major sights in a matter of a few minutes we upgraded the room and got 201 which is a large room with balcony and side view of the river, room has mini bar , tea and coffee making ( dont buy a Tea bag in the main bar , cost me 3.50 euro for one Tea bag ) and a safe . room was very clean and bathroom was good size . The staff are helpful and the breakfast staff especially Petra were very good , the breakfast is served in a beautiful room however the food itself while having a decent selection was warm but not hot and the tea and coffee likewise were just warm , however taking nothing away from the hotel it is a lovely place to stay with great location and we would stay there again

We have stayed with my husband in the hotel for 3 nights. We were looking forward to these days because it was supposed to be our first holiday together after the wedding. Our experience with the reception at the front desk was very kindly, because we came earlier then the checkin time, but it was no problem for the staff there to give us a room. We have choose this hotel because we wanted to be near the city center, and we were really not disappointed. Everything was very near, so we see all the historical buildings and streets of the old town. Breakfast which is the hotel serving are very various, so I suppose there can't be problem for anybody to choose the right thing for him. The small issue we have with parking, since we have bigger car and therefore we can not park in the hotel garage because it is smaller, so lady at the reception sent us to the parking house which is located about one minute by walk from the hotel. Even you need to pay for it separately, they gave us during the checkout 50% discount on the price of the parking. All together I can say, that we have really enjoy the whole stay also because any kind of request over the phone was solved in a while.

I chose Hotel SET from AGODA because it offered promotion rate on the day I booked and location was also "excellent" or something but I didn't enjoy the location.  It is not located in city center. You have to take bus #39 to get to old town from hotel. Frequency is every 20 minutes and probably 5 (or so) bus stops ride.  The location of hotel is behind hockely studium. Also near Double Tree by Hilton hotel. If you take taxi, you can mention that to driver. My priority to choose hotel is location, so I should have checked the location more carefully.   When you look at building of hotel set, you might be a bit upset because it looks a bit old but inside of the hotel is maintained very well. ( Espcially room & dining area) I stayed in single room, which is spacey enough and very clean. I enjoyed it pretty much.  Breakfast is not included, which was the plan I chose. If you want to have breakfast at hotel, it is available for 10 euro. The buffet looks really nice. I think it is worth it. I visited Brastilava around new year and hocky studium was closed. There are some bar&cafes in the studium but all closed. Other than that,  there is nothing nearby. You might want to book the room with breakfast. There is a big super market if you walk 7-10 minutes, though. It is good to have nearby.    You can expect in the room - safe, stable wifi, patio, iron board, hair dryer.TV, towel, linen, AC. However, there is no electric kettle, hence you can't have coffee/tea even if you bring it with you.

But 3-star, yes. The hotel is new, set in an unatractive immediate surroundings. Very unimpressive and concealed entrance from a courtyard. Approaching on foot, one has to go all the way round to find drive in to the courtyard and parking lot from where there is entrance to the hotel. Spacious lobby looking more like a reception for congress centre with main purpose of office meeting rooms. Definitely lacking a touch of interior architect / designer. Room amenities, design definitely 3-star. Uninspiring design with furniture more like office with lot of dark faux wood panelling. Quirky aircondition controls, probably working satisfactory if you figure how to work it. Luckily I could open the window and get fresh air from there. I expect a coffee / tea and kettle in 4-star hotel. Instead I see a sign that this cost extra 5 EUR. I am missing a clock or anything that indicates the time. It is usually a small display on the TV set so that one knows the time in the night too. The room lacks a picture or colour design/decoration on the white walls. Two lamps, one on the table and one on the night stand have hidden switch on the back. Was looking for a wall switch since they are part of main lightning. Bathroom provides minimum of toiletries, not comparable to 4-star hotel. 2 towels per person, the larger one maybe 80x50 cm. The whole establishment lacks ambience touch of personal design. Located centrally in the busy town it is still exceptionally quiet in the night. Windows facing unpaved and unkept parking lot and looking over to the National Bank of Slovakia. Hotel seems spotless clean, good bedding, good night rest - but really has a feel of more of a Congress centre with accommodation on the floors above. Location of the hotel is perfect right in the centre of Bratislava. One advantage might be if you have a car. It says complimentary, which in other surrounding hotels would mean additional 15 - 30 EUR a day. And I would consider the parking safe.

We stayed for four nights around the last weekend in August. The hotel is located centrally with excellent access to shops, bars, restaurant and the riverside. Our room overlooked the interior courtyard and was extremely quiet. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary minibar is a nice touch and made us feel at home. The staff were extremely friendly both at the front desk and in the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

During the Spring Festival, a family of three, set a big bed room, 1153 yuan, after the arrival, the service staff took us to the room, said, you live in this room is a little small, immediately contact, gave a big room for a change After the sofa was opened, a bed was added and bedding was delivered. The breakfast is also very rich, very close to the scenic area, so to speak, the scenic spots near the hotel, 3-4 hours, all can be turned over. The most memorable thing about this hotel is the service, the standard clothing of the service staff, and the service attitude is very good.

Me and my wife have such a pleasant experience with Hilton group hotels in the past. We’ve had a pleasure to stay at Tysons Corner, West Palm Beach, and Las Vegas. But this is the first time when we’ve had such an unfair and awful experience with the Hilton Group customer service — at the DoubleTree By Hilton Bratislava. We are Ukrainians who got lucky to flee Ukraine just a week ago. Hilton group is doing a promotion by providing 5 free nights to all Ukrainian citizens who escaped the war. My wife booked 5 nights at this hotel so it took us 5,5 hours to come here from Poland just to have a 5 days to finally get some rest. At the hotel the front desk manager Lubeca told my wife to provide confirmation that we are Ukrainians. My wife has just the copy of her national passport - original was left at Ukraine with almost all our stuff. Also she has original birth certificate and residence confirmation. I think that these document DO prove that my wife is Ukrainian citizen. Instead the front desk manager said that we are cannot stay at the hotel without the original passport and told us to leave. So after going through 1 month of war, after long drive to Bratislava we received BIG f..ck off from Hilton Group representative and right now we’re sitting in our car and thinking what to do. We felt very disrespected by Lubeca, very uncaring and cold attitude from her. In such a well-known company there shouldn’t be a customer’s treatment like that.

Went here as our other standard hotels were either fully booked or advised crazy prices. Had already seen this hotel when searching for hotels so when our travel agency came with Antares as an alternative I decided to try them out. And to my full satisfaction. The hotel is located at a quiet street, a bit uphill. The hotel has 2 parking garages and the price for its use, EUR 12/night, is friendly. The hotel is very nicely decorated and has a warm atmosphere. The check-in was swift and friendly. My single room was spacious with a bit wider bed than normal for a single room which was nice. Quality of the bed was very nice and slept like a baby! The room has several window and doors one can open and has a balcony with a chair and table which is nice in the evening as the environment is nice with a lot of green. Bathroom is spacious as well with a bad and shower. Only small minus is that when you take a shower standing in the bath the floor may be very wet as there is no side glass. But minor remark only. Cupboard space is more than enough. Desk is ok and the WIFI signal is strong. Breakfast had a very good and wide choice. For sure an address I will keep in mind for my travels to Bratislava!! Recommended!

We spent 3 nights in this lovely hotel in the Bratislava Old Town. The location is perfect, close to the main square, but in a very calm street. The room was very spacious (we were 3 persons), extremely clean linen and towels, big comfy beds. The breakfast is served downstairs in the cellar: sausages, bacon, different kinds of bread, cheese, granola and cornflakes, some sweet bakery, basic vegetables (but please do not keep boiled eggs in the fridge - they were so cold like a piece of ice and tasted awfully). The staff was very attentive and nice. The hotel also has a restaurant downstairs which is a-m-a-z-i-n-g. We had dinners in different restaurants in Bratislava, but our Koliba Kamzik was Number 1! Very tasty and well prepared Slovakian meals - do not go anywhere else, just go outside and book a table in their lovely terrace. Everything what we tried was great. The waiters were fantastic. If we ever come again, we definitely stay in this hotel and have dinners only there :) PS There is a karaoke bar in the same street, but if you close your windows, you wont hear anything.
