8.54km from Ody's Drive InnSpent 5 nights February 17 2019. Ground floor smoking room with king bed. Room didn’t smell bad for a smoking room. Room is big for a motel. Desk, dresser and bed end tables provide plenty of space for your stuff. Lighting was sufficient but no lamps bedside so I brought a $3.50 lamp I got from a resale shop. Fold out luggage stand for your bag. My car was right outside my door so unloading and loading the car was easy each day and warming and clearing snow and ice off the car was convenient. Vanity sink and counter outside bathroom is nice and area is big with fridge and microwave and right there too. Lots of outlets for AC plug in but you may want an extension cord or power strip if you want to plug in several things at the desk. I didn’t need one. Fridge and microwave are plugged in and ready to go. WiFi is marginal with several Travel Inn WiFi networks to select including one that’s unsecured and several that require a password that is the hotel phone number (no parenthesis or dashes). Towels were 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths and 2 full bath towels, plenty for me. Bathroom is nice size with bathtub shower. Bring your own shampoo. Bring your own coffee maker, I brought my own cheap Mr Coffee and made a pot each night to warm in the microwave in the morning. Bring your own coffee cup. Clientele can be noisy but the “paper thin walls” comment is exaggerated. It’s winter so not much parking lot partying issues. Did have some noisy neighbors at 2:30 one morning but didn’t last long. Brought my own blanket because I like it and didn’t want to use bed sheets/spread due to some reviews but appeared ok. Yes there were cigarette burns on the bedspread, so what? It was clean. So were the bed sheets. Carpet was clean too. Cigarette burns on desk and dresser don’t bother me. Check in was routine and easy. Reservation did not require credit card. Room housekeeping was daily and consistently good. Would stay here again.
