Checking in was easy and fast. There was an area with a microwave that guests could use, the microwave was old and took forever warming up soup. Also, this particular area needs attention (dirty, no napkins) The room was excellent, bed linens were top notch, very comfortable bed and great view from room (we were given a room in the 16th floor. Security is great in the hotel. Overall it was a good experience. The Hotel is in excellent location and it is the only one in the area offering free parking.

Reviews of Hotels near Off Tha Hookah in Lexington

3.7/531 Reviews
Overall this is a nice area for a group of baseline Marriott hotels (Courtyard, Residence, etc.) - I've now stayed in all of them, and have had very good experiences as a rule. It's a great area to stay - walking to restaurants and close to Keeneland and the airport. However, this was my first stay at the Fairfield, and I won't be back. It doesn't measure up to the other Marriotts that are in this development: small rooms and obviously poor maintenance and upkeep. in addition to the run-down feel of the place, we had plumbing clogs to contend with. We also complained of the extemely noisy AC/Heat - these are the typical through-the-wall units that I realize are often noisy, but these were ridiculous. When I brought the noise to the attention of the employee at the front desk, she just shrugged her shoulders and basically agreed that they're really noisy and said there was nothing that could be done. Overall, the place just has the feel of a hotel that has really suffered due to the pandemic - they're obviously very short on labor, and lots of things have been let go - since the hotel is already a bargain-basement level, the effect of this neglected maintenance is all the more obvious. On the positive side, the folks who put out the breakfast were very friendly and attentive. That's about the only good thing I can say about this hotel. In sum, it's a dump compared to any other Marriott I've stayed in (and I'm a high-level reward member staying in at least 20 of their hotels every year). When there are several other Marriott options at the same price point in the very same development, there's absolutely no reason to stay at this one.

We stayed here for three days this week. The location is really hard to get to as you have to drive thru a fancy hotel's parking lot to get down to it. It is very dirty looking from the outside. When I entered I asked to see the room prior to checking in and I was told they had taken out the bushes and the shutters to start painting outside. When I inspected the room, it was one of the newer remodeled rooms but you could still tell it was old as there were still holes in the walls where paint had chipped and they just pained over the top of it. The lighting in the parking lot was very minimal so not a place I wanted to be after dark. They were big rooms. The TVs were smaller and the beds were just OK, since it was a newer room the mattresses were quite firm. The shower worked great and we didn't see any bugs while we were there. The breakfast was the worst and we ended up skipping the breakfast as there was no waffle maker and the coffee I had tasted like dirt. There is a Dunkin Donout two blocks down!!! Once when going down to the lobby, the elevator stopped on third floor and the workers doing the remodeling had beer in their hands and a case of beer. The ice machine was broken. They did clean the room pretty well each day but due to the condition of the rest of the hotel and the breakfast I would not recommend it and I won't stay there again.

We used our AARP membership to get a discount. Very pleased with our stay. Pet friendly is always a big PLUS. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was fine. Breakfast was grab n go, but a nice selection including breakfast sandwiches that could be microwaved plus Honeybuns, packages of small donuts and muffins, individually wrapped bread for toast, packaged oatmeal, yogurt, juice, coffee. Lots of fast food restaurants within walking distance... however. Be forewarned, that with the pandemic, many of the lobbies are closed and you must do drive through. Will definitely stay again

This hotel is nasty and dirty . It was snowing and we had to get off the road and this was the closest. But there where hair on the clean towels . On the doors , shower, sinks . There were dirty black hand prints all over the back of the doors . The Tv is by polar and would freeze . But the worst was it was under 20 degrees . The room was freezing . The heat didnt work . There is a huge crack under the door so even if the heat tried to work this huge over and inch crack at the base of the door let all the cold in . We litterly froze all night . The blankets are thin on the bed to . We had a toddler with us also . So this was really frustrating. At $83 a night to be $110 after taxes this was awful !!

We stayed here as part of a cross country road trip. We chose Motel 6's across the country because they have a nationwide dog policy that has no weight restriction. This was on par with the first stay of our trip. A newly updated room, clean, and a SUPER location. We've actually stayed at this particular location before and it never disappoints. I don't like leaving my dog alone in hotel rooms but this one is close enough to plenty of restaurants we stashed her and got some real food for the first time on our trip without any issues. Highly recommend for a budget stay in Lexington.

We arrived after midnight; no one was at the desk to check us in. After waiting a few minutes, I called the desk number hoping to stir someone (?); it rang for several minutes before the line clicked off with no response. Finally a guy came out and we got our room keys. My husband asked if this was a safe neighborhood--wondering if our exterior storage bin would be safe if we left it attached to our tailgate (nothing real valuable in it). The clerk looked offended. Whatever! The rooms are huge, which was great for our family of four. This property is a little battered, but it seemed clean. Beds were comfy and we slept thru breakfast (there's a better option--don't miss Dudley's On Short!)--then as we were leaving, the clerk at the desk didn't even look at us--just an icey vibe, same as the vibe from a maintenance man to whom we yielded the elevator (let him have it--we had a luggage cart loaded up). We walked out the front door only to meet another guest whose car was being towed from the parking lot because SOMEONE STOLE HIS CATALYTIC CONVERTER during the night. No security cameras in this place, apparently. No clerks keeping watch. The staff are disinterested, and it appears the ownership doesn't care about protecting the parking lot--so I can't recommend staying here.

One night stay for church conference the next morning. Got a great rate from William Shatner's company. :) Arrival experience was excellent -- lobby was clean, modern and welcoming, and check-in staff was friendly. Care had been taken to maintain social distancing and other enhanced sanitation due to COVID, such as credit-card readers on tables placed in front of the desk. Hand sanitizer was widely available. Room was clean and quiet; very little road noise despite proximity to busy New Circle Road. Excellent WiFi speed and HDTV service. Bathroom was spotless and shower worked very well. When I left for my conference the next morning, I was missing some literature that I needed, but didn't notice it was gone until I had already checked out and arrived at the conference. I went back to the hotel in late afternoon after my meeting, and asked the clerk if housekeeping had found it. He checked and said they had not, but offered to give me a key card so that I could go to the room and look around (it had not been rented out yet). I thanked him and went back, and sure enough, the booklet had fallen in between the bed and the side table. Yay! Numerous restaurants are in the neighborhood, and a Kroger store is half a block away. Additional shopping is not far away. I highly recommend this Courtyard property.

I am staying 4 days weekly at this hotel and I have been so very blessed to have found this place! I called and gave Mrs. Dee, the general manager, the days I would need and she immediately took care of me and made sure that I have a room on the 3rd floor away from potential daytime noise because I work at night and sleep during the day! The front desk staff are super sweet and kind and know me by name! I feel like a celebrity when I walk in LOL! Being nurse and being aware of infectious disease processes, I was beyond astounded with the cleanliness and extra precautions being taken to keep the guests safe. Every employee was wearing a mask PROPERLY! Hand sanitizer at every elevator, entry, and exit as well as sanitizing wipes! The rooms are IMMACULANT and I feel a special THANK YOU is needed to the housekeeping staff! Every room I have stayed in has been SOO CLEAN! The sheets are nice and soft and freshly laundered! The location is also wonderful with Starbucks, Kroger, Firehouse Subs, Kroger, Taco Bell, and Wendy's all within walking distance! The area is not "sketchy" at all and I have never felt unsafe! The hotel has cameras everywhere and key card entry is required after hours.

Don't let their website fool you! Extended Stay America promotes itself as a home away from home, but that was not my experience. My family and I stayed here for seven days during a move while we were waiting for our new home to be ready, and our expectations were that we would reasonably be able to go about business as usual. The accomodations advertised were spacious rooms, a fully-equipped kitchenette with a stove, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator, and all the other necessities like plates and silverware. While the rooms (a suite and a studio) were somewhat comfortable, we had to buy our own coffee maker because there was a waiting list to get one. After buying groceries for the week, we found out that our fridge was broken. They replaced it as soon as we told them, but we'd already lost most of our refrigerated groceries. And it wasn't long before we found out that the fridge in the other room was broken too. In addition, we had to ask for the utensils and plates that were advertised as amenities, most of which they did not have, so we had to buy paper plates, utensils, and cups. Everything was scarce. By the Wednesday of our stay, we ran out of toilet paper in our room and found that the hotel was also out of toilet paper. They wouldn't get a truck until the next day. I'm not sure how this jibes with the Americans with Disabilities Act, but there is no elevator except for an unsheltered wheel chair elevator just outside the front door. There's a spiral staircase leading to the third floor that I'm sure the elderly would struggle with. While every staff member I spoke to was nice, they seemed exasperated ever time we asked for something that should have already been available to us in our room. Not one of them wore their masks consistently or correctly, so I can't imagine they're doing much to discourage the spread of Covid-19. I can definitely say that should I ever be in this position again, Extended Stay America will not be on my list of options. $1,180 is far too high a price to pay for such a poor experience when I can book an Airbnb with more amenities for far less.

Absolutely loved this hotel!!! Not sure why it has such a low star. Very clean. Very professional environment. I had the deluxe king suite and it was very nice. Comfortable bed. Only 2 things was I expected it to have a jacuzzi being the king suite and the shower (no tub) was a joke. It had no water pressure like barley even a dribble. Worst shower I have ever used.

I’ve been staying at this hotel for well over a month now waiting on my house to be prepared and finished for renovation. During my stay here I’ve got to know the staff very well and they become family to me. They always take into consideration any special needs that I may have or want, and more importantly They are always doing it with a huge smile on their faces. It is just a great atmosphere to be in. They go above and beyond to make sure that my stay with them is the best it can possibly can be. Although I miss my home and can’t wait to get back to my normal life there, I am going to miss super8 and it’s Staff. So anytime that I plan on taking a vacation away from my home or needing a place to stay whether it be A night, A weekend, or a week. I will be using super8 as my only go-to Hotel. I would highly recommend them to anyone, staying here at this hotel has made my time away from home so much easier to bare, and more like a vacation! I’d give this hotel 10 out of 10 for sure!!!

This hotel is much closer to a 4 star except no restaurant on premise. The rooms have been recently recarpeted. Spacious and quiet. Breakfast was great and included good quality proteins that they seem to rotate, hot items, waffes, oatmeal, eggs x2, yogurt, breads, cereals, fruits, juices. Only suggestion for improvement...they offer 24 hour coffee/hot water, the medium coffee was strong which is great but it was also bitter maybe left from night or made too early in too large of quantity. Staff was pleasant. Clean. Excellent value, near highway but not noisy at all. Outside food available in patking lot. They also had well stocked convenience center.

Rooms are very well designed studios with well-equipped kitchens, work/desk areas, and very comfortable sofa/chaises, We greatly appreciated easy access to hdmi ports at the rear of the tv so we could easily stream from our phones. Fabrics and colors are restful, up to date selections selections. Everything about the room was well-designed. We stayed twice while en route on a trip. Staff is fantastic - welcoming, helpful, great restaurant takeout recommendation. Cleaning staff is meticulous-our room was impeccable on both stays. Breakfast room was large enough for comfortable distancing and selections were good. Small gestures matter: the hotel manager even opened doors for us to roll a luggage cart in. Sidney and Alexis definitely understand hospitality. Last and certainly not least, this hotel takes Covid precautions seriously. With two stressed out medical professionals in our family, the attention to mask wearing and safety was greatly appreciated. This hotel was an exceptional home away from home. My name is Mr. Jason Pyle I stayed at this location on March 21,2021. We checked in around 1 am. We used the bed on the right. It had 4 pillows on it. I used 1 and put the other on the other bed. My wife used both of hers. Never did we even sit on the other bed. We woke up. I took a shower. Then we smoked a cigarette out by the entrance. I went to get our truck and I waited for my wife to check out. She came out and we left to get gas. I never went back in. My wife only had a small backpack. It couldn't hold 2 pillows and our clothes and bath supplies. This complaint starts by my wife and I checking out and she realized that she forgot a can koozy in room 301. Inside the mini fridge. I told her to call and see if they would mail the item back and how much they would charge. Clerk told her that she would have to contact FedEx. I would have to call back to get a number to call. I then called called back. We were already more than 15 miles away and didn't know if it would be just as easy to turn around. I was the then told that I was a thief and stole 2 pillows and would be charged $30.00 apiece and she was charging my card. I told her I was not a thief and would be returning to clear our name. We returned to a empty front desk. That wasn't a problem. So I rang the bell. The clerk comes out an upstairs fire door opening it loud and locking it open forcefully. She asked me what I needed. I said I was the one who called about the cozy. She came down the stairway all red faced and still accusing us as thieves and that she was told by management to tell us that and to charge us. As I was telling her I didn't appreciate her accusations she then tried to flip the situation and saying that we were loud and belligerent. As we are verbally defending ourselves there was an elderly woman staying in the room next to us at the top of the stairs. Where the clerk locked the fire door open the lady could not get out of her room. My wife had to bring it up to the clerk that she was locked in. If there was a fire that lady wouldn't have gotten out because of her neglect. I asked her to get the manager then. She said she wasn't going to him. They were the one that said to charge me. Again she threatened us with the police. Saying they are on their way. I waited out front for them to arrive. Told the cop I was a man of principles and was not going to be called a thief and to be charged for something I never touched. Outside the cop told me they usually don't call the people or tell them they are charging for theft items. They just charge them. I was blown away. How is that possible? You shouldn't be judge, jury, and executioner. I think it should be a small claims court decision not the manager. I also was on the phone with your corporate people as the clerk was yelling at us about being thieves. I told her I was on the phone with her corporate people and with her being so loud that I couldn't hear the gentlemen on the other end. I asked to

We stayed 5 days at the Homewood Suite Lexington-Hamburg for opening weekend at Keeneland. We had a great experience. They were remodeling their kitchen & lobby area which did impact the amount & choices for breakfast, but it was still tasty & Hot to eat. Our room was a one king bed suite. Very clean, full size fridge & dishwasher with small range. the furniture was clean & functional. The bed & pillows were clean & comfortable. The hotel is pet friendly & there is PetSuites of America immediately next door. our dog enjoyed going to the doggie daycare while we were at the races. Area surrounding the hotel is modern with a wide selection of dining & shopping opportunities. The staff at the register were helpful & pleasant. I booked through Priceline and I won't do that again! When the dust settled we received the rate advertised. That was good. I did not like having a $50.00 a day hold placed on my bank account. No. My bank account was played with several times. And that hold assumes that the customer is going to cheat the establishment. That is not a good attitude. What kind of customers are you seeking? The room was very clean. And it was most comfortable. That was important to us since we were in Lexington for health care. Our request for a first floor room was filled. All amenities were provided. The room phone did not work. Maintenance came twice to no avail .The bathroom was very nice. The tub/shower had lots of grab bars. There was a very nice fold-down tub seat. The shower/ massage head did not move from the wall as it should have. Breakfast was minimal. Cereal, Danish, coffee. Chairs were up on the tables the second morning. A man took chairs down for us. The manager said "Covid 19 restrictions". There were two waffle irons but there were no waffles. We probably would not stay here again mainly because of the $50.00 a day hold on our bank account. The staff was courteous and polite. There was no road noise.

If I wanted a frat house atmosphere then I would have drove down the road to UK and saved myself $150. I’ll start with the pro’s of staying here. They genuinely have made an attempt to give a modern and comfortable feel to the rooms. The cons... the place is nasty and disheveled. Upon entering the lobby to get our room key, there were multiple people at the front desk complaining that housekeeping had left their rooms without the basics such as towels or trash can liners. First red flag. The hallway walls are scuffed and scraped and it didn’t stop when we got to our room. It looked like college kids did a fly-by-night moving job and scuffed every wall in the place. The floor at the entrance of our room had dried paint and tacky substances of unknown origins stuck to it along with fibers and dust that hadn’t been vacuumed. Moving on... the towels in the bathroom were haphazardly folded and tossed onto the shelving units the same way a child would make an attempt to finish their chores in an effort to just be done with it. Not a big deal as far as cleanliness but the presentation was lacking. We were exhausted from driving all day and just wanted to get to bed and relax so we decided to look past the lackluster of the room. But wait for it... as I pulled the coverlet on the bed back, I discovered multiple holes and tears in our sheets that were on backwards (the tags were at my face). The headboard had also clearly not been cleaned in some time as the leftovers of someone’s hair goo was smeared on it in multiple places (praying it was just fro-glo.) The following morning, we decided to skip breakfast as the hall leading to the lobby reeked of someone’s early morning toke. We were over it. So, in conclusion, if your standards are low and you just need a roof over your head for the night, I guess this wouldn’t be the worst option. Although, if you value how your hard earned money is spent, skip this place and keep going down the road. Or seek out a local horse farm and rent a stall. They’ll at least give you clean shavings.

From the moment you see the beautiful, green well kept grounds until you check out, it is an awesome experience. Mark greeted us at the front desk with an inviting smile. The hotel is perfect. The room was perfect! We decided to go for drinks and dinner. Lazarus made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The drinks were great and our meal perfect. The hotel is really dog friendly with a large dog park and  beautiful grounds.  The birds were singing and the morning was peaceful. It was the perfect ending for our three week holiday. Thank you.

I was hoping all of the negative reviews on this hotel were a thing of the past, and I'm happy to report that for the most part, they are! This is certainly an older hotel, but it has been recently renovated with new vinyl flooring and more modern furniture. The rooms are narrow, but at least mine was clean, so the tiny desk table and low vanity didn't bother me. Renovations were not exactly top notch, but at least it was an effort to modernize the place. Front desk staff was friendly. One thing I really appreciated is that they actually had a grab and go breakfast - juice, coffee, honey buns, apples, and granola bars! It tasted amazing compared to the nicer (and more expensive) hotels who choose to do nothing and chalk it up to the covid craziness.

Super clean hotel with excellent staff. Our room was spotless and fully stocked. Everything worked perfectly and the floor plan really well done. Check in went smoothly and all requests were accounted for during our stay. Everyone of their staff was truly professional and friendly. The morning departure was the best. Rich Johnston is great. Due to 5:30 am departure he made sure my wife had a go bag with a muffin, banana and energy bar. He even made a fresh pot of decaf coffee for her and helped us to our car to load our luggage. He is 5 star ⭐️

the room was very nice, and the heat/cool unit and the shower worked great. the night mgr was very conscientious, he came and helped me work the key card when i wasn't doing it correctly, and he even came a second time and got the TV on the channel i wanted when i couldn't figure how to do it with the remote. very convenient location, five minutes off the interstate, very quiet. the wi-fi was uneven, and a few lights were burned out, but there was plenty of light even without them. the mattress was a little too firm for my taste, but that's a pretty individual thing. there wasn't anything that i needed to have fixed to make the room livable. i wish there was a way to give it 3.5 stars. it is not a luxury hotel, but it was nicer than many of the hotel rooms i've stayed in at more expensive places.

I like detailed reviews myself, so this will be long and detailed. We stayed previously April 17-19 (stay 1) in room 104-same room as our stay May 1-2(stay 2) Stay 1, It was immaculate. Beautiful and clean room! Stay 2, I was slightly disappointed. It was still clean, but I noticed a couple little details that aren’t necessarily complaints, but observations. The shower had hair stuck to the detachable shower head, not a huge deal just kinda icky. The bed closest to the window had what looked like grape juice stained on the mattress cover. (I have healthcare experience, so I know it wasn’t blood.) again, not a huge deal but kinda icky and could definitely be mistaken as blood to an untrained eye or at quick glance. I didn’t think to take pictures, but there was also some mold/mildew spots around the base of the shower, it is quite possible those were there a couple weeks ago, but I honestly don’t remember! The young lady checking is in at the front desk was the same stay 1. She was nice and efficient, but I didn’t get the warm and fuzzies from her. This is hardly a negative. I just have a more bubbly personality, and sometimes expect more from people in hospitality roles, but again, she was in fact nice. She wasn’t rude, was just all business. On checkout (granted we had to check out at 5 am to be at the hospital at 530) the desk clerk was nowhere in sight. We didn’t need to see the clerk as we got our receipt emailed from the third My husband saw them at one point to get a couple laundry bags. When we left, they could have used that moment to use the restroom. Not necessarily a complaint, but observation. Overall, this is a very good place to stay. It is clean, staff is friendly. Price was reasonable for the area and the quality of the place. We will most likely stay here again should the need arise.

All aspects of this visit at Town Place Suites by Marriott were very good. Only two negative complaints of minor nature. Their "Grab and Go" breakfast was innovative (due to COVID) and acceptable but would be so mush better in normal sit down venue such as Holiday Express serves. Second they had only two luggage bell carts for luggage transport to and from guests rooms. They needed 4 or 5 of them. Employee Camden Payton at front desk was a great employee asset. He was friendly, outgoing and efficient and very ready with any help guests needed on registering in. Other desk person of great help had first name of Quinn. Marriott should value employees such as these and give them a raise!!!
