The staff are very friendly and helpful, and all of them are speaking enough English for a real conversation. Which is very unusual in Japan, even at hotels of a much higher price class, I can tell you from experience. The rooms are small but tidy. For the price you simply can`t expect more at Tokyo. Especially at a hotel with this splendid location! From the underground station Jimbocho you reach everything in Tokyo in short time, and the Imperial palace, Yasukuni-Shrine, are in walking distance. And book lane is just arround the corner. This was my third stay there and I`m sure to come back in future. FromUS$19.00

I used it because there was a concert at Nippon Budokan. As we were close to Kudanshita Station, we were able to come without hesitation. Thank you for changing your smoking reservation to a non-smoking room. The room was clean and amenity was available, so I was able to spend the minimum amount of luggage. I was worried about the fact that there were few towels in the room and that it was difficult to adjust the temperature of the shower, so it was not moderately warm. Towels were good because we could get a spare at the front desk, but it would be helpful if we had a lot of towels in the room if possible. The breakfast bread was delicious. It was good to have other coffee and juice. I would like to stay if there is another opportunity.FromUS$44.00

Saku Ren delivers a great hotel experience at an amazing price for Tokyo. This is a Japanese business hotel - so the rooms are very small and there is no lobby-lounge seating area and no restaurant. Ample for single travellers, or two people who like to keep their luggage neat. The decorating motif of old Japanese books is lovely and the extra touch of being able to select a massage chair for the 'relax' room or a tatami corner for the 'Zen' room marks this out as a business hotel with some character. What you get are spotlessly clean rooms with good quality amenities, a kettle, fridge and tea and coffee -- and really obliging service. When I arrived in a typhoon of rain the front desk staff whipped out a towel to wipe down my suitcases; when I asked the cleaning staff to give me 10 minutes more before I left the room, it was no problem at all. The location is terrific - right at Jimbocho subway station just 1-2 stops from most of central Tokyo, on a main street with plenty of taxis. The street is lined with book stores, cafes and convenience stores - so you are never more than steps away from breakfast or lunch. My pro tip is Kohikan, a coffee shop chain with an excellent range of freshly brewed coffees and a breakfast set for JPY 500-650. (Same side of the street as the hotel, turn left as you exit the lobby, walk across the cross-street and you are there 3-4 mins). This is not an entertainment area, so it is quiet at night and a lot of the shops close on Sunday, so for shopping and dining you need to go further afield, but its a short taxi ride home.FromUS$59.00

This hotel is definitely above and beyond expectation. We were family of four with two young toddlers, stayed here for 6N, apart from being very clean, the hotel surprised me with a free internet mobile phone which allowed free calling to some selected cities free of charge. The mobile phones comes with free mobile data hence you can make use of it to navigate in the city with online map. It is also very near to Tokyo station. On the day we checked out, we took taxi to Tokyo station to catch Narita express at 6+ AM in the morning and the taxi fare wasn’t expensive. There is also 24 hrs convenience store opposite the hotel. I booked this hotel because the meeting was close. It is very close to the subway Jimbocho Station and it is very convenient to travel. Although the room is not big, but one person has no problem, the facilities should be more complete ^_^ six small pieces of the Chinese hotel, the room is not, but you can pick it up in the cabinet next to the front desk. The only downside is that the door sign is not obvious, especially when it is very dark at night. It took 20 minutes to find it around, but it was found in front of you. We stayed here on 30/09/19 straight off the plane from Australia. It was a really cool experience. This place is located a short walk from the Takebashi train station which was easy enough even with our bags. There’s a 7/11 around the corner for a late night snack too. The bathrooms were very clean and I found the locker to be a good size, I was able to fit my hard shell suitcase (medium 24inch cotton on brand) comfortably into the locker. They provide soap, shampoo/conditioner and toothbrush/paste which I found very convenient - the soap was amazing. The shower is so good! I had a comfortable sleep, my only complaint would be the bean-bag type pillow I had and the fact that there’s no airflow in the pod itself - I had to leave the shade slightly open which was uncomfortable because it faced out to all other floors through a window including the male-only floors below. I would stay here again (but bring a usb fan) and I would also like to try the other locations. Thanks! FromUS$18.00

It's about 4 minutes walk from Jimbocho Station (not counting a traffic light). There are several convenience stores around it. It is very convenient. Remarks I ordered a quiet room and arranged for me. Everything is perfect. It should be that Japanese hotels are doing go to orders recently. The original price of 1w5 yen per night, I only spent less than half of the price with breakfast (breakfast is three different flavors of hot bread + salad + optional black tea/coffee personally like tuna bread! The standard room was 'Japanese size' but surprising the bathtub was full size. Small 'nook' for hanging clothes with no door, a nice desk to work on with a mirror in front, full-length mirror by the entrance door. 2 electric sockets in the bathroom and 2 more by the desk. A minifridge in a cabinet attached to the desk. Green and brown tea (1 each) every day with the hot pot for boiling water. The TV is maybe 42 inches (didn't measure) but I didn't use it because all I found were Japanese shows. Might have others but couldn't read the remote buttons as they were in Japanese and I was busy so no time to watch. If you want a Japanese breakfast, you need to buy the vouchers. Coffee/tea, salad, beans and edamame, tomatoes and some egg and franks, fried potatoes. BEST was the croissants with really nice blueberry conserve with tons of whole blueberries inside. A separate Japanese table with more local favourites. Entrance to the underground train right out the front door and a block walk underground to the train. Limited food options for lunch or dinner but within 5 or 6 blocks, many more options if you turn LEFT out the front door. Front desk staff do not all speak English but the would summon someone who did speak it fairly well. FromUS$75.00

Their service is nothing short of excellent. They have staff who are fluent in English (and other languages as well, I suspect). Me and my friend came thinking that we would be staying in a Single Room with Extra Bed since that was what we booked as we attempted to be more economic. However, to our pleasant surprise, our room was upgraded to a much much bigger room for free. We are very thankful to the helpful staff for making our stay pleasant and extremely comfortable. The location is great as it in located somewhere in between Iidabashi and Suidobashi which is pretty much close to the geographical center of Tokyo. Head east you will be able to visit Akihabara and Asakusa quick. Head west, you will be able to hit Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet and the Tokyo Dome is just a 10-15 minute stroll away. If I am coming back to visit Japan, this hotel will be a clear top choice for me. Haven't had the opportunity to have the breakfast at this hotel, but I will certainly try it out on my next stay here.FromUS$83.00

Choose a premium room as I was in Tokyo for a week and I wanted a larger room. There were 2 beds, a sitting area, a desk and the bathroom (which was large with a shower and a tub). The room was modern, very clean, and offered plenty of amenities including bottled water, a coffee machine, and an iron. The staff was wonderful and even helped me get a cab to the airport. The fitness room is misleading as it is only a few machines. The buffett was great as there were plenty of choices and freshly made eggs to order. The location was okay, not a lot near by - a 10 minute walk to train station and five minute walk to a 7-11 and restaurants.FromUS$79.00

Excellent location, just 300 m from JR Suidobashi station which itself is 3 stops from Tokyo station. It is in a quiet lane with many convenience stores nearby. We stayed here for 8 nights, staff is polite and cleaning service is impeccable. Our room had washing machine, kitchenette and microwave with one pan, two dishes, two glasses and two mugs. A detergent pack is provided free on arrival. Sizewise the room is not large but so are most hotel rooms in Japan. Breakfast buffet is from 7 to 9:30 pm in the hotel lobby itself with we being vegetarian tried only bakery products which were very good. For dinner, there is a Sapana Asian restaurant (about 800m by walk) serving Indian veg and non-veg food near the Suidobashi station west exit. The Tokyo Dome city is huge and a must-visit with a great amusement park and shopping mall. Starbucks, McDonalds, Don Quijote and Daiso are also nearby on the other side of the station.FromUS$45.00

Check in was a breeze, efficient and high tech. Godzilla head is an interesting feature of the hotel (esp. for fans), and location is great, right in the middle of the happening area.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From it's central location (right across the street from the Shinagawa train station) and close proximity to many restaurants and shops, this will be our go-to hotel in Tokyo. Perfect for first time visitors and frequent visitors to Tokyo because of its location, amenities, and service.
Close to public transit was a must when evaluating a hotel to stay anywhere, especially Tokyo because I didn't want to carry/drag luggage far. This hotel meets that as the hotel is located directly across the street from the Shinagawa train station. Also, the airport limousine bus stops at the Shinagawa prince hotel. Location to transit made this one of the top reasons why we loved this hotel.
There are a few towers on property so the room you book determines which tower lobby you check-in too. There are plenty of signs in english to direct you to the appropriate check-in lobby and the staff are more than willing to help as well. Checking in was smooth and quick as our room was ready (we checked in around 7pm), clean, and spacious. Like I mentioned, there are lots of room types available you just have to find one that works for you. In this instance, a corner room King offered plenty of room and a rather large bathroom for Japanese standards. We actually ended up with a killer view of the Shinagawa train station. Spacious and clean rooms was another reason why we loved this hotel.
In addition to the hotel being close in proximity to a central train station (both JR and local routes here), there are numerous shops and restaurants within the hotel property, adjoining the hotel property, and within walking distance to the hotel. A 7-Eleven, McDonalds, and food court are a few of the options on property with endless options for eating and shopping within walking distance to the property. Close proximity to restaurants and shops is also one of the top reasons why we loved this hotel.
Above all else, what makes this property stand out is the level of service from staff and the cleanliness of the entire property, inside and out. Ever single staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful, and respectful. Everything from the lobby, guest rooms, hallways and public areas were clean, really clean, something we loved.
Again, I cannot recommend the Shinagawa Prince Hotel enough and we can't wait to come back.

If you loves omakase breakfast at Toyosu market, shopping at Venus Fort, Diver City, Aqua City, visiting the TeamLab Borderless and TeamLab Planets, and hot-spring at Ooedo Onsen, that's the perfect location. Even gives you quick access to Disney resort and Haneda Airport! Small rooms as usual but the one with twin double beds is excellent for parents with two young children. The only downside is no car-rental nearby.

Shinjuku
Location is perfect, in the heart of shopping district Shinjuku. It's also walking distance from Shinjuku station. Economy double room is very small for two people. The plus point is the Airport Limousine Bus counter is just right at the hotel lobby and the hotel is one of the stop for the airport limousine. Overall is very good. Will come back here again if we travel to Tokyo.
