This hotel is really good! ! ! Did not eat breakfast at the hotel (asked because it was expensive), and ordered the most basic double standard room, but it was really good. Because it wrote that there was no separate shower room, I was a little tangled before moving in. In fact, it was harmful, but the bathtub and shower head were placed together. There are also small benches and basins inside. You can also use basins to catch water. The toilet is separated from the shower, on both sides of the sink, and the design is very good. Then the room was quite big, and it was really much bigger than other hotels I stayed in before. It deserves to be 4 diamonds(?). Then my friend and I lived on the 19th floor, which overlooked the city, which was really nice. The people in Kyoto shed tears (?). The location of the hotel is very good. It is very close to Sobu Line (jb-Okubo Station) and Yamanote Line (jy-Shin Okubo Station). It is very convenient to go everywhere. There are everything to eat nearby, such as convenience stores, milk tea, pizza, Matsuya, Korean ingredients and so on. There are even Zhou Hei Ya (fake) and Mala Tang and 100 yuan hot pot (?). There are also larger supermarkets. The soundproofing of the hotel is good, but it’s better not to laugh out loud (), my friend and I played cards and laughed too loudly, and I was complained by the other side (embarrassing).

First time in Japan and the first hotel stay in the country! Location: Very convenient. It's only a 5-minute walk from two subway stations (Shin-Okubo and Okubo). Plus it's right behind a Don Quijote (you need to walk down the dark, shady-looking alley to the right of it with vending machines to find the entrance on the left) and there are plenty of 7-Eleven / Family Mart / Lawsons along the street. McDonald's and many other restaurants too. Shinjuku station is only about a 20-25 minute walk too. Can't complain here! Room: It's a huge room! Even by North American standards (coming from Toronto Canada). The bathroom is basically two different rooms, one with the toilet / sink, and the other has a jacuzzi with a separate stand-up shower spot. The bed was very firm, but found that to be the norm based on our other stays. The room size is definitely above average for Japan standards. Our room had several windows that looked out onto the street (read some reviews about boarded-up windows, but that wasn't our case). Cleanliness: Despite being a dated hotel, it was clean. No issues here. Service: Friendly but difficult to communicate due to the language barrier. We inquired about the Tsujiki market but they answered that they didn't know what it was... even after giving them examples of the fish/tuna auction. On rainy days, you can buy an umbrella for 500yen, but nearly all other hotels give them for free. Tid-bits: There's a flight of stairs you need to ascend before the lobby area. Not recommended if you have bad knees. Elevators are very small. Overall, a decent stay being the first time ever. Missed the size of the room in comparison to our other hotel stays but that's really it. I'd sacrifice the space for more modern facilities. Price was comparable to many other hotels in the area.

Relatively small hotel. It is situated in a busy street where food is readily accessible...Jap, korean, western. Donki, lawson, drugstore are just round the corner. MacDonalds is just opp the hotel. Very convenient. Setback about the hotel is the flight of stairs leading to the hotel lobby. No one will help you with the luggage or no one did when we arrived . So you need to be prepared to carry your luggages yourself up the flight of stairs. Reception isn't too friendly when we arrived but they helped with the necessary - check-in, book a cap, secure your luggages before checking in. Lift is very tiny. There are like 4-5 rooms on each level. Corridor is quite dark and gloomy but noise level is kept to a bare minimum as hotel staff reminds you to keep quiet. No water provided in the room but you can fill up your water bottles at the pantry on the 6th floor. Rooms are small but ok considering that it is Tokyo. Shampoo, shower gel, face & hand soap are available in the bathroom. The hotel is situated at the Shin-Okubo station ( one stop after Shinjuku station). The station is currently undergoing some renovation. There is no lift at the station. So you need to carry your luggages down the 2 flights of stairs and carry them back up on your return journey. We decided to book a cab to Shinjuku station when we check out. Journey costs about JY900. Beats the hassle of having to carry your luggages up the stairs and queue to enter the train. Will not return to this hotel again unless I am travelling light.

I don't see how you could find fault with this hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and everyone I came across had perfect English. The location is excellent; less than a five minute walk to Shin Okubo on the Yamanote (loop) line, and amidst all of the great Korea Town restaurants and shops. The room itself was very large, and had all necessary amenities plus some nice extras which you don't always see now, like mouthwash, and a refrigerator. The shikibuton (Japanese mattress/futon) was super comfortable and I slept really well. I didn't use the communal facilities like the laundry and kitchen but those could be a great asset for many travellers. I can't believe they aren't charging more for this place!

My daughter and I stayed for one night before moving on to Kyoto. I confirm other reviews in their: - Location between 2 JRLines - Near Shinjuku - convenient short walk to main street where there are is food , convenient stores etc The building looks new and modern. The pick up instructions are clear and concise and the manager, MJ ( who converses well in English) is very responsive and would remind me if I hadn't responded about something via email. The room is indeed small and just ok for 2 people and already you need to be organised about where you place and open your suitcases (we had 2 big ones). I just ended up placing my suitcase in front of the door at night before bed. The other one could sit on the 2 seater couch. The beds are comfortable and there is aircon / heater PLUS a humidifier. The TV monitor very conveniently swivels so it can face all sides of the room. The kitchen is well equipped and they even provide necessary detergents for dishes and washing machine. For a very small room, the bathroom is very spacious. There is first a dry area where the washing machine and toilet is and you can change in there as well. I LOVE that they prepared many hooks for hanging - something that many hotels have overlooked. The bathtub is nice, new and clean and fabulous to take a nice long soak in. There is a dresser/ desk which has power points for charging. I notice several power points in the room so definitely ample distribution of charging points. I was only there one night but I seem to feel that the Wi-fi was pretty fast. My only complaint is that there are only stairs so you need to be prepared to carry your luggage. I was already warned so I was mentally prepared but good thing my room only on second floor so it was 2 flights of stairs up.

If you loves omakase breakfast at Toyosu market, shopping at Venus Fort, Diver City, Aqua City, visiting the TeamLab Borderless and TeamLab Planets, and hot-spring at Ooedo Onsen, that's the perfect location. Even gives you quick access to Disney resort and Haneda Airport! Small rooms as usual but the one with twin double beds is excellent for parents with two young children. The only downside is no car-rental nearby.

this hotel is always my favourite. the location is very convenient for shopping, for food & for transport. However, it took me over 45minutes to check in hotel because they couldn't find my booking although I provided the Trip.com's confirmation number but I had no hotel confirmation number. Owing to the super typhoon which I must stay in the hotel, the hotel staff provided quality services & very good food. Overall, I enjoyed the stay.

Check in was a breeze, efficient and high tech. Godzilla head is an interesting feature of the hotel (esp. for fans), and location is great, right in the middle of the happening area. room size is good, can even be bigger if the toilet is joined with the bathing area. can bring the 2 single beds together to form a large bed.

Suidobashi/Tokyo Dome
Their service is nothing short of excellent. They have staff who are fluent in English (and other languages as well, I suspect). Me and my friend came thinking that we would be staying in a Single Room with Extra Bed since that was what we booked as we attempted to be more economic. However, to our pleasant surprise, our room was upgraded to a much much bigger room for free. We are very thankful to the helpful staff for making our stay pleasant and extremely comfortable. The location is great as it in located somewhere in between Iidabashi and Suidobashi which is pretty much close to the geographical center of Tokyo. Head east you will be able to visit Akihabara and Asakusa quick. Head west, you will be able to hit Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet and the Tokyo Dome is just a 10-15 minute stroll away. If I am coming back to visit Japan, this hotel will be a clear top choice for me. Haven't had the opportunity to have the breakfast at this hotel, but I will certainly try it out on my next stay here.

Good hotel. Location is great and convenient, pretty much inside Sunshine city mall. There’s also a 24/7 family mart as well. Didn’t encounter any elevator problems in regards to having to wait long queue times.
