|1.95km from city centerHad a lovely stay at this hotel, arrived late evening and the receptionist on duty was very welcoming, gave us all info about location and car parking, on entry to our room we were impressed at how welcoming it felt, perfect room temperature and very clean. Slept well with no noise to disturb us. I’d happily stay here again

|0.53km from city centerThe morning in the UK really can't stand it. There are too many meats and the cakes are sweet. The only thing that interests me is that the coffee there is really delicious and tastes pure. In general, the Chinese stomach can't stand the British ingredients. There is also a long interval between buses, which is really inconvenient. Perhaps the flow in the small area of Swansea is not large, so the starting distance is long, but the car is in excellent condition.

|1.45km from city centerIt is located outside the city center so it's more suitable for guests with cars. There are plenty of car parks outside the hotel.
I didn't drive and had to either take a walk or the bus to the city center. It's a 20 minute walk along the promenade of Harbour Tennant to the restaurants and pubs at Wind Street. The city center was only another 10 minutes away.
The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd have no hesitation to stay in there again.

Rooms: large, bright, modern, cozy, clean, comfortable bed, large bathroom. No mini-safe, little space to hang out clothes. Fresh flowers, nespresso machine and water cooker, drinking water in the refrigerator. Personal: Very friendly and helpful dishes: No fixed breakfast times, so you can sleep. Beautiful breakfast card (Smashed Avocado is recommended). The rooftoppar is worth a visit. The food has tasted us very well, especially the Sunday breads with Yorkshire pudding. We were 5 nights in Oyster House and we felt well around. We can recommend the hotel without reservation

|1.25km from city centerWell, well. An excellent hotel. It has excellent links to the m4 and swansea. The hotel itself is clean and tidy with free parking and WiFi. Staff are warm and friendly especially Wendy. She is lovely all the staff are. Just a few issues are the neighbouring rooms bathroom are Loud and we could not hear the tv in our room. There is mold starting to grow at the windows that's because you can't open them.

You don't have to look at anything more elegant, because it's a low-key luxury; if you want to face the sea and watch the spring blossoms, maybe it's a good choice (remember to book the presidential suite, where the windows are the most beautiful) landscape). On the day of the check-in, the boss was also there. During the chat, he learned that he had also worked for Ritz in London. It is no wonder that from the moment he entered the hotel, he always showed a thoughtful British butler service. The waiter helped us with the luggage and intimately put on the tea and drinks to solve the journey of the boat. The most surprising thing is that they also prepared the welcome snack macaron, the quality is considered superior. In addition, the hotel will explain to you any information you want to know, eat, ride, and shop... In a strange environment, staying at such a hotel, you really don’t have to worry about it. |0.94km from city centerHaving paid £109 for the room and an additional £5 for parking I was expecting something a bit better than what we got. The staff on reception were lovely and very friendly, but the room was a bit tired and cold. We stayed in room 401, which was an end room on the 4th floor, which on first inspection seemed very nice. However, it soon became apparent that the air conditioning unit didn’t work, the windows were both broken so they couldn’t be opened and were leaking, the one radiator in the room was rusty and ineffective and there was signs of damp on the ceiling. I think for the price of the room these issues should have been fixed before we arrived. Had the price been lower I wouldn’t have minded but if you’re charging more than other places I think the standard should be higher.

Our room was large, well - appointed & had a very comfortable super king - sized bed. Breakfasts are freshly cooked to order, & the range of food available for evening meals is of excellent quality. Parking is directly opposite the hotel, is secure, & has 2 EV charge points. As a base for exploring Swansea & the Gower Peninsula, Morgans Hotel is a delight & well worth a visit.

|1.24km from city centerSo, here goes. The bath in my room leaked and flooded the bathroom floor with 5cm of water on the first morning of my stay. No, it didn't run over the top of the bath, and the water wasn't up to the overflow, it leaked somewhere else! Being in a hurry, and not wanting to return to an indoor pool, I used all of my towels to mop up the flood. I spoke with reception later that day, and they offered to change my room from 4** to 3** due to the flooding. I also mentioned that floor 4 smelt of damp? Later, a member of the hotel's staff confirmed that there had in fact been a flood from floor 5 through the ceilings in to the rooms below on the 4th floor. Whilst I was assured that my room was not one of the rooms affected , I was surprised that a) no-one bother to mention this beforehand, in fact they were trying to hide it b) rooms were let out on a floor where there was potentially a respiratory health risk! So, having packed my belonging I trudged down from the 4th to the 3rd floor (did I mention one of the lifts wasn't working?). I unpacked only to find that the TV in room 3** was inoperative due to; a) there being no remote control b) the arial lead was missing from the TV (who steals TV arial leads!) So it was back down to reception who kindly found me yet another room this time with a TV with a remote control and arial lead + a Bath that hopefully wouldn't flood.. on the 2nd floor! And of course this meant packing my stuff up (again), trudging down another floor (again), and unpacking (again). Yep, you've guessed it, by now my restful, stress free stay was anything but! In summary, unless you've got a desire to live out a 1970's hotel sitcom, but without the view (did I mention the semi-permanent scaffolding?), and a car park resembling a bomb site (literally), I'd probably suggest giving this one a miss.

The location is very good, just outside the train station, about 500 meters from the city center. The service staff responded quickly, but the internet speed was very slow.
