|1.87km from city centerLoved this hotel - 6 stars! The staff was amazing, helpful in every way. There is a Dolar Blue money exchange right next door. The location was perfect and in a good location. Our room overlooked the Recoleta Cemetery. An entire block of outdoor restaurants were just around the corner, a mall is across the street, the Hop On Hop Off bus stop is walking distance, the park with Sunday fair is also very close. We arrived at 8:00 a.m., so our room wasn't ready (which we expected), but they have a shower and changing room adjacent to their exercise room that we were able to use. We stayed two nights, then flew to the interior for 12 days of hiking, then returned to this hotel. They kept a piece of non-hiking luggage in storage for us for the 12 days at no cost. We would definitely stay here again.

|5.39km from city centerFor our first time in this beautiful city, this was a perfect location for us to enjoy everything Buenos Aires had to offer. The front desk staff was most helpful in recommendations for restaurants, private tours, and anything else we needed assistance with, Our rooms were comfortable and clean, and the breakfast buffet was more than adequate. I'd recommemd this hotel to anyone looking for a good value.

|1.14km from city centerI know this Hotel Since 2004 and visited a couple of times. I near Santa AV, Onje block from 9 de Julio AvV. and les than 5 mins from General San Martin Station (Metro Line C). The guys at the reception are very competent, friendly and attentive. Has 3Elebatores and a pool, restaurant, Sauna, decent Wifi in Lobby and in every floor.. The Hotel has 3 Elevators. Our room was quite big and includes a small refrigerator and a touch induction cooker over the countertop, as well as a microwave. Also there is a 50” Led TV. Air conditioning. Safe deposit Box. The bathroom is well equipped and spacious. Plenty of plugs available in the room (keep in mind that Argentina uses 220V)

|4.89km from city centerI’ve been lucky enough to travel the world and sometimes fortunate enough to stay at the finest hotels a city could offer, but no hotel compares to L’ Hotel Palermo. The staff, warm and always professional, went to great lengths insuring my stay was a first-rate experience and beyond. I was given a much needed electrical adaptor, a replacement Covid mask, a better reading lamp for my failing eyes, directions around town where the best pottery store could be found and the best bakery, the closest Covid testing center, and when I requested a pencil, Martin ordered one on Amazon. How about that? Now for the hotel itself… The swimming pool area is heavenly! One could bask in the sun, surrounded by the smell of grass with butterflies gliding above by the walls of ivy. Comfy chairs, stacks of towels, cool drinking water is available and the pool, though not Olympic size was perfect for my needs. Now for the complimentary breakfast … The usual complimentary breakfast is mediocre at best, so had no expectations what-so-ever- but the variety and quality of the L’ Hotel Palermo breakfast is something special. I appreciated every morning and every bite. Delicious croissants, a variety of cereal, cheese, lunchmeat, fresh fruit, a choice of juices, coffee, tea and more, was readily available starting at 7am. A real treat. The rooms were spotless, the bed was lush and comfortable and the powerful water pressure of the shower was a joy for this longtime New Yorker. If I sound like I’m gushing like the shower … I am, I loved L’ Hotel Palermo. In addition, the district of Palermo (shops and restaurants galore) along with the soulfulness of the people of Argentina had me yearning to stay, but all good things must come to an end. I wrote this review on my return flight home feeling satisfied with a heart filled with good memories. Special thanks to all - Mariana, Lucas, Martin, Lucila, Raquel, Norma, Jose, Juan Pablo, Jean Paul, Marina, Matias, Monica, Soledad & Matias. Their combined professionalism and grace made this weary traveler feel rejuvenated. One more thing - the hotel and swimming area are more stunning in person. The website photos, however good, don’t capture the magic and loveliness of L’ Hotel Palermo. Highly recommended! (obviously).

|0.74km from city centerThe location is successful, everything is near, and what is not near - on transportation or taxi for a small price. (to trade is necessary, or the next taxi driver will be more cooperative) Everywhere shops, restaurants, walking street Florida. Currency exchange is the same. In 10-12 min. walking terminal from where ferries are sent to Uruguay. The room itself is large, two-room, with balcony and panoramic windows, stunning dawns and sunsets. (on the 37th floor) But very dusty. Bosic does not look. We left the country for a few days and, looking at other hotels around the city, decided to come back here because except dust, everything was fine. The Internet is good, the minimum dishes, but we were enough. The only thing was missing a microwave oven. Also after return I asked for 2 more towels for the pool, the manager replied please, but for $10, very not visionary from his side. For very lazy people there is a cafe right at the entrance, they serve good steaks for an acceptable price. Otherwise, it is normal.

|1.28km from city centerThe staff are friendly enough. We were very disappointed when we asked for more bathroom tissue. We had just returned from an evening out and noticed that when the room was made up, bathroom tissue was not replaced and we were running out of tissue. We called down to the front desk to ask for two roles of tissue and were told that we were only allowed one role per day (we had not been given any tissue that day). I met the staff member at the elevator where I was given a role that was half the size of a full role. So the daily allotment of bathroom tissue is ½ a role per day for two people? If we had been given a full role of tissue when they made up the room in the morning, we would not have needed to request more. Unfortunately, no amount of smiling staff can make up for the petty hording of bathroom tissue. We had two rooms at this hotel and have had two rooms here previously so this was not the first time staying at this hotel, but it will be the last.

|0.83km from city centerThe rooms are nice, the breakfast is good and the staff are really helpful and kind. But the hotel has been left to die, the bathrooms are tiny, the elevator gives you the creeps, the AC doesn’t work well in every room. In our room the AC leaked and we had to put a towel below or else the entire floor would be soaking wet. They offered us a new room but in the room they gave us the AC didn’t cool properly and it’s nearly 100 degrees in Buenos Aires in summer, also, the bathroom flooded when my son took a bath. So we asked to be moved back to the room with the leaking AC (at least in that room the temperature was great). The wifi doesn’t work. So if you intend to catch up with some work, watch some Netflix before going to sleep, or just scroll thru social media better go to a cafe cause you won’t be getting much done here. During our stay there was a power outage for a couple of minutes and someone got stuck in the elevator. Needless to say, from then on we prayed the power didn’t go out while we used the elevator.

|0.3km from city centerWe arrived yesterday after a night flight… our tour company Condor Travel arranged for an early check in at 0830 am which was very helpful. The room is clean and has a great shower. Sadly the room noise from the air conditioning was very loud through the night. We can also hear the elevator… and I think the breakfast restaurant must be above us as we were woken up at approximately 4am with music… as we are returning shortly after a few days away… we will request a better room. The maintenance man was brilliant… we couldn’t get the safe to close or the air conditioning to work… we put a call into reception desk and within 10 minutes it was all sorted…thank you. We ate in the main restaurant for lunch the Caesar Salad was first class and the club sandwich big enough for 2 with fries. We will update on our return in a few days.

San Telmo
Buenos Aires
|2.03km from city centerI assign a relatively low rating for the overall experience due to two factors: 1. A very poor breakfast and 2. A front desk experience that was less than satisfactory, mainly because two out of three of the staff were young and inexperienced—and most of the issues I experienced were due to a single, young lady, who would benefit from additional customer training. On 1, the quality of items was unsatisfactory—the orange juice was not a juice at all but some sugary, orange flavored drink; the cut fruit was mushy pieces of melon and orange, and kiwis (on one day). The scrambled egg was tough. The yogurt was full of sweeteners and artificial flavors. The cake and danishes were stale. On 2, I asked for a receipt for the hotel bill, which I had paid in cash and was told that I could have an email copy later but would have to wait to get a printed receipt at checkout as the system was difficult to work with. In order to ensure that I had a receipt for a cash payment I agreed to wait. With time running out for an international flight to catch, I waited patiently for some time (close to ten minutes) as the desk lady took the time to serve other customers—asking about tours and the like. Finally, I asked about the receipt again and was given a rude answer. I asked for the manager and was told that none was available, and I would just have to wait if I needed a hard copy of my receipt. Eventually, a receipt was printed for me but it was just an invoice and I had to then ask for another iteration showing a cash payment.

|4.95km from city centerGreat Hotel with brilliant staff. Everyone was really friendly and spoke great English. The front desk staff especially were very kind and any time I asked for help or advise they were happy to help me. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean. All throughout the hotel they maintained high levels of cleanliness and there was hand sanitizer available at reception and at the restaurant. Breakfast had a great selection of bread, pastries, eggs, cereal, meats and cheese. The area is my favourite in Buenos Aires because there isn't as much traffic as other areas. Its really pleasant to walk around in Palermo and stop at the different restaurants, cafes and bars. I felt safe everywhere in this neighbourhood. I highly recommend staying at the Palermitano.

|59.94km from city centerOne of the poorest experiences in a so-called Luxury Property I’ve ever had. And I have had plenty, I hold status with various Hotel Chains, Titanium Elite with Marriott amongst others. We were returning to Uruguay From Buenos Aires and were needing a 1 night stay in the Campana Area to have a good Night Rest and maybe some Spa Time. Since none of our preferred Hotel Chains had a local presence I decided to explore one of my minor Loyalty Programs, Accor. That’s how we came to know this Sofitel Property. Once arrived at the locations my wife and I were a bit confused. The Setting was not very Hotel like. At the gate we found out that we were entering a gated community. This was not mentioned on the Accor website. If I had known that I would not have stayed there. I’ve nothing against it but I’m familiar with the urban and natural design of these areas and It’s not my cup of tea if on Holiday. Anyway, once at the gate we had to wait for several minutes to get access even after providing ou ID’s to the security guards. They would not let us through until the property confirmed that we were on the reservation list. Once the Hotel finally confirmed we were asked to open our trunk for inspection before accessing the community. This was a very hostile situation. I’ve had better experiences with TSA. At check-in I expressed my discontent with the front desk employee who did not address the issue nor offered any kind of apology. I’m just starting to assume things are done this way at this hotel, a little less Hospitality and little more rudeness. After the check-in process was fulfilled credit card swiped forms filled out we were “reminded” that check-out was at Noon sharp and that we would not be welcome to stay at the premises afterwards. ***, really? No lunch?, No visit to the garden? No possibility to leave luggage until the afternoon for a quick visit to the city nearby? No, you are requested to LEAVE at noon. Well, that was it for us. We no longer felt welcome there. We decided to get some work done and have dinner before going to bed and leave the next morning right after Breakfast. The room was good. Although, I had requested and paid for a King Size bed, we were given two twin beds instead. It’s spacious with a modern design. The TV is rather small considering the size of the room. The Bath Room is comfortable, it has a separate walk in shower and bath tub. There’s also a nice and spacious balcony without comfortable furniture. That is not a big issue as you don’t want to stay there too long. There’s a highway nearby and after a few minutes the sound off traffic gets on your nerves. We ordered Simple room service dishes. Steak with mashed potatoes and a Burger with fries. Steak was acceptable served a bit cold though. Burger was not very good. Bun was to dry and patty overcooked. No sauce hence Superdry experience. What caught my eye was that the room service Menu did not include any clear options for Vegetarians/Vegans and/or persons with Aller
