Hatahae Onsen and people living in the metropolitan area may not know that they don't like hot springs. It is not a secret hot spring in the mountains, but a hot spring area close to Atami and Izu Nagaoka. If you use Kodama, it is very close to Tokyo. It is not known that it is wasteful to make. . The large bathhouse has three large bathtubs in the inner bath, １ is heated, and ２ hot water of different sources (30 ℃ and 35 ℃) is poured respectively. There are two tanks of wet water, so you can put it loosely. It was also good that there were no group customers compared to Izu Nagaoka and Atami. In my personal opinion, especially in the case of hot water, ”quietness” is an important element, so if there is a group for banquet, it is a wake-up call.I discovered the goodness that is not known as Shuzenji or Izu Nagaoka. In terms other than hot springs, the building is clean, but when you enter the room, the oldness stands out. There was no element that was impressive at all.

I stayed because it was close to my work destination. It's a famous inn for hot springs, so I think it was a rare customer. I didn't have a plan with dinner already, so I bought a lunch box, but it seemed that I could ask at the time of check-in on the day. [Gyoza is delicious] Gyoza was recommended as it seems to be famous, so I asked for beer with room service. It was very delicious, so we recommend eating when staying. [Room] It's a room, but there is no TV, no Wi-Fi ... What a good thing for your body! But I lay out the futon myself. I laid it for the first time in a long time. It was a very cold day, but I didn't like leaving the air conditioner on, so I borrowed an electric mattress. Go to the front desk to borrow it or ask by phone and they will bring it. It was cold that day, so when I entered the futon early and lay down, I slept at 10:30 (laughs) [Bath] There are three hot springs, 31 degrees, 35 degrees, and 41 degrees. I felt almost water at 31 degrees in winter. It was quite cold at 35 degrees, so I enjoyed going back and forth at 41 degrees. It was cold, but the open-air bath in the morning was the best.

Modern clean and stylish. Excellent coffee machine in the reception area which doubles for breakfast lounge. Breakfast had a good variety and was very convenient. Newspapers including in English were available to read in the reception area. The rooms were smallish but well designed and the bathroom had a dedicated shower room. Staff were kind and polite. The hotel is near the station but not too easy to find.

Hotel is near to the Mishima JR station (about 7-10 mins’ walk instead of the stated 3 mins) but it was at the opposite side of the station where all the eateries and amenities were. Could get really dark to walk from the station especially for the ladies. Public bath/onsen was not bad but the outdoor pool was overhyped. There was a cold pool, sauna too. There are 2 massage chairs. Overall, an dated hotel that serves its purpose for a brief stay with tea and coffee dispenser in the lobby.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. I value its strategic location. It is just across the road from the north exit of JR Mishima Station. It rained on the day I went, and the waiter handed me a dry towel when I entered the door, which greatly increased my favorability. The room size is average for a budget hotel, the overall environment feels clean, and breakfast is also provided. Mishima Station is located in the transportation center of the Izu Peninsula. It is very convenient to go to Atami, Shuzenji Temple, and Gotemba. If you plan a day trip, Mishima is suitable as a transfer station. This time, because the price of a hotel in Atami was relatively high, I chose Mishima, which is a ten-minute drive away. If you want to soak in hot springs, there is a Dormy Inn near Mishima Station, and the price is more than a hundred dollars higher.

This hotel is right next to the Mishima train station for both regular JR trains and Shinkansen trains on Tokyo-Osaka line. One can walk in without even cross the road. Access if from the first floor (ground) and the reception is in the second floor. There is a small shopping area in the ground floor. Rooms are of good size with separate seating area. Beds are comfortable and have all facilities expected in a first class hotel. More importantly the toilet and bathroom are in sperate enclosures. If one gets the station side rooms, one could see Mt Fuji in all its glory. Breakfast is good with a choice of Japanese and western dishes; and staff is quite helpful. The only issue is that noise insulation could be little better; it is certainly not comparable to what we found in a hotel situated next to a busy train track.

Very clean! The receptionist also taught me a lot of things very polite and gentle. When I checked in advance, I brought it because there was no towel in the amenities, but there was a bath towel and a face towel! The room was very clean and clean for staying alone.
