We arrived to Thessaloniki without hotel reservation and most hotels were almost fully booked. We checked number of high-ranking hotels, but only this hotel was really high-class. The hotel located among many restaurants and has only two stories. The room and the bathroom are large and spacious, the bed is very comfortable and the service is excellent! It is especially important to note the wonderful service provided by Zafiros in the reception who was attentive to all our requests very patiently. Breakfast is rich and includes a wide variety of dishes. Next time in Thessaloniki we will definitely return to this hotel.

PROS: Really close to city center. Nice restaurants around. Parking close to the location. Clean rooms. Good breakfast at Plaza Hotel. Friendly staff. Could be better: Quite noisy in the evenings/nights. This hotel does not offer you a 4 stars comfort and experience.

Location - in Ladadika, a little west of town center , loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Very lively area . I was assigned room 201. Very spacious , nicely decorated . I wasn’t a fan of the dark brown color theme of the room - made the room rather dark. But the room was very comfortable. Shower not too well designed - bathroom floor a little flooded after showers. The free WiFi worked well , and the ac was great too. Check in for diamond suites is at plaza hotel - right across a small street. The lobby of plaza hotel is kind of small and very 2 to 3 star hotel looking - which didn’t match the luxurious feel of the rooms at diamond suites . The staff - mostly ok , though not as nice as one would expect for the price of diamond suites . Breakfast is at plaza hotel - it was an ok breakfast - adequate but nothing to write home about .

Very conveniently located in Ladadika within walking distance to, well, everywhere! I particularly enjoyed the warmth and professionalism of the front-desk staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Also, full credit to the breakfast staff who went out of their way to make sure that everyone was served according to the covid19 regulations and especially because while I mistakenly showed up for breakfast 30 minutes (!) early on my first morning, they were very courteous about it and, instead of quite rightfully kicking me out of the breakfast area, they served me with a smile. The rooms are renovated, tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfy. The hotel has no free parking facilities but they have made a deal with a parking lot across the street so they provided me with a card which cost a reasonable 6 Euro per day. Overall, a nice, warm hotel at the heart of the city. Would definitely stay again!

The Noa Premium Stay is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Noa Premium Stay is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Thessaloniki. The hotel is located approximately 17km from Makedonia Airport. Makedonia Airport is approximately 17km away by road. Keeping busy is easy, with Aristotelous Square, Monastery of Agia Theodora and Ladadika District all nearby. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.

We stayed over Christmas holidays and really enjoyed the hotel. Room is comfortable and warm. Shower room is fantastic and all very clean. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Really lovely. Breakfast is very good and cooked to order. Location was perfect with the added bonus of having parking across the road. Extra cost but so convenient. Didn't want to leave.

`Le palace` isnt quite the most appropriate name for it, but it is very central and close to everything. Set on the main shopping street (Tsiminski) the shops are very close to hand. The entrance is almost behind a periptero (kiosk) on the main street. The fab eating area of Ladadakia is just a couple of minutes walk away and this is lively, has great food and the prices are reasonable. The sea front, with its bars and restaurants is just a few minutes walk. The Agora (market), Aristotelous Square and the White Tower are also within walking distance. We took a bus from the White Tower (number 200 I think) for an hour`s trip around the city to get orientated. It cost 2 euros and, although the commentary wasnt synchronised it did help us get a feel for the city. The hotel wasn`t plush, and was noisy (our room faced the main street), but the beds were very comfy, the place was clean and the staff were helpful. If you are visiting Thessaloniki for a two or three days stay and want to see everything quickly this hotel is ideal.

My 3rd visit as the hotel is in such a good location. However if your looking for a bit of luxury you might be disappointed. The bathrooms are all in dire need of renovation, (all 3 rooms I have stayed in have needed an upgrade) For us it functioned and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is also clean. We used the slightly unusual spa which was a nice experience. In fact great value for money. I would stay here again because its clean and in a good location for our needs.

Excelsior is a boutique hotel situated at a side street in the center of Thessaloniki. It is an old building of the early 20th century but fully renovated with modern installations (Wi-Fi, elevator, TV). The past got married with a modern taste and luxury. The architect seems to be very talented. The door-person will carry your luggage to the room and with a smile will inform you on breakfast hours, the surrounding restaurants, the way to call another room and much more, giving a personal attention to the guest. The room was comfortable, with a high ceiling and a balcony. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bathroom was not blocked. For room no. 45 the bathroom and WC are separated, a way to give full privacy, if both are occupied. The walls are dressed in white marble giving a luxury note to your room. Everything is arranged for spoiling the quests and giving the best comfort. A “welcome set” is offered, containing a bottle of water and Greek sweet cakes. Every evening new cakes will help you having sweet dreams. Snacks and a coffee machine are available with charge, if used. All staff members are very nice, professional and helpful, but exceptionally nice and professional was Georgina, the reception clerk. Breakfast is very diversified with cold food, but you can ask for a hot dish (e.g. any kind of eggs or pancakes) from the menu with no charge. One can find Greek yogurt and honey, several kinds of cheese, Greek specialties, and homemade cakes and tarts. Living early in the morning, we could not have breakfast in the dinning room, but a "breakfast" box for each guest was waiting for us. The content was beyond any expectation and very tasty. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come again.

City Hotel is a small boutique hotel in central Thessaloniki. But apart from the excellent location, this hotel offers the highest level of service we have met. The hotel staff is courteous and professional and answered any questions or concerns we raised. The rooms are spacious and decorated with modern design, hot water all day, and a great breakfast. Surely, they thought of all the details up to the smallest ... For example, you can take a coffee-to-go from the dining room. Certainly from now on it is our favorite hotel in Thessaloniki.

An excellent stay and experience from the staff at the Mediterranean Palace Hotel. Centrally located, the MPH is one of the top hotels Thessaloniki has to offer. Friendly and professional staff, we had everything we wanted and all our needs were catered to and nothing seemed too difficult for the staff - the ladies at reception were particularly friendly and attentive. Breakfast options were excellent, they make amazing omelette I must say. Their freshly squeezed orange juice was one of my favourite things - yum! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We also visited the Aegeo Spa while there (quite a few times). With special thanks to Athena, Liza and Lueli for their professionalism, mannerism, bubbly personalities, a wonderful set of treatments (Cretan massages are a must) and especially getting the knots out of my shoulders :). Looking forward to my next visit at a location where Aegeo Spa operates for more!

I don’t know another Hotel where I feel so guest as in Makedonia Palace. Every detail is perfect and the stuff extreme friendly and always with a smile. I know also the Hotel before the renovation and it was the same excellent place. Unfortunately they increased the price in between my last stay and now I feel I have to find another place since I don’t like to exaggerate my companies allowance . Anyhow, for me it’s the most beautiful Hotel

5 points to the hotel, 5 points Ctrip service, 0 points to the agent. I made a wrong date. Although it is a single item that cannot be changed, Ctrip is very active in helping to contact the agent. It is fast and has excellent service. On the same day, I will pay for the check-in at the hotel. I will contact Ctrip to change the day of the wrong decision to tomorrow. However, the agent is running the train full of mouths. Tell me what the hotel says is no room, no change date. When can't we speak English? At the front desk of the hotel, people say that they can change. The agent said to ask again, the result is still the same, lying. I wanted to give up. After all, I was careful to make a wrong date. I spent another extra night, and the hotel said that I was wrong for a day. They changed the date directly to me! It is not expensive to pay for the hotel at the hotel, 65 euros, I would rather go directly to the hotel to book and not let the agent earn my money. This hotel is a small room, nothing else, good location, highly recommended! The breakfast was excellent.

We stayed in the Electra Palace In Thessaloniki for ten days in late December to early January. We found the front desk staff to be very friendly and helpful. The checkin was smooth. They are fluent in English. The location is on Aristotle Square, which was very vibrant at New Years. From the hotel, many of the tourist attractions are easily reached walking. The White Tower is about a 10 minute walk and the Byzantine and Archeological museums are a bit farther. The agora, and Hagia Sophia are maybe five minutes away. The Ano poli is farther away and is uphill. The hotel has a great view of the sea and Mount Olympus. Our room did not face that direction, it might have been worth the extra cost. The Roof Garden has a wonderful breakfast and a stunning view. I really liked the orange juice. Dinner is also served, we did not try it. They have an excellent WiFi system. The hotel is getting ready to have a major renovation that will start in a few weeks. They say it will be finished in three or so months. We had a nice room that was starting to show a bit of wear. Housekeeping did an excellent job and the hotel was very clean. Ever curious, we asked what the new rooms would look like and were shown what was basically a prototype. Interestingly enough, because of the hotel’s unusual shape, every room is going to be slightly different. The one shown faced the square and was very attractive. It is a significant upgrade from what was already a very good room. We went to the spa and had a massage. The personnel were very nice and had good language skills. The massage was worth the money. This is the one area that I thought a renovation would be of real benefit. We did not use any of the other spa facilities. During our stay, almost every employee asked if we were enjoying ourselves. They seemed to enjoy their jobs and were anxious to please. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and would stay again. It is located in an interesting area with shopping options and lots of good restaurants.

The Capsis Hotel is anything but the safe place one would expect. I was robbed inside the hotel on 14th Dec. I was there waiting for my students sitting exams in English for the NOCN language certificate. I was in the hotel lobby having my bag by my side when I suddenly realised it was not there any more. I was very upset but things got even worse when I addressed the reception for help. The receptionist told me they could do nothing. I asked to speak to the security manager but despite waiting for long he never bothered to show up. I asked them to check the security cameras as I had seen one covering the area where I was. They claimed this was not possible and it would take a lot of time. To my request to call the police they claimed they had no intention to do so and even refused to let me use the hotel phone to call the police myself as my phone was in the stolen bag. In the end a stranger offered to lend me his phone to call the police and cancel my credit cards. During my stay there I saw no security at all and the security cameras are in the reception area without anyone watching them. It was a really traumatic experience made worse by the fact that I thought I was in a safe place and being robbed was anything but possible. The hotel staff were definitely not helpful . I feel I have to share this with anyone considering visiting or staying at the Capsis. Be careful!!! Thieves take advantage of the obvious lack of security. You are NOT safe.

The location of the hotel did not say, walking ten minutes past the Frankfurt exhibition, it was very close. There are many Chinese restaurants, shopping malls, and dm cosmetics supermarkets around, so you can meet your shopping needs by the way. Hygiene is very good, but the staff around the train station is more complicated, there are more black people, and paying more attention to safety is not a problem. The hotel is good, but the price tripled during the exhibition, so book in advance
