8.49km from downtownNice view and nice room, unfortunately the NTUC is closed. The hotel reception staffs are nice but customer service in other part of the resorts can be improved. Guests are free to use the bunker pool in front of the hotel but if they want to use the fun pool, they need to walk all the way to the end of the resort to register names. Even after registering, we were told that we can only use the pool after 6.30 pm due an on going swimming class which only take a small part of the pool. The following day when we registered our names to use the fun pool again, we were told that we can only use the pool for one hour only (there is not a single soul using the pool at the time). It does not cost any money to be nicer to the hotel guests instead of making them feel like a second class citizen. We are after all a paying customer. Hope the management can look into this.

8.77km from downtownI booked this hotel because the reviews are excellent but it was to my great disappointment that I’ve to change room twice due to:
1st room: Found shit on the toilet bowl and it was so disgusting that i did not manage to take a photo. We were given a new room immediately. The attendant did not even check on the toilet and told us will inform house keeping bout it.
2nd room: No warm water from the shower. Heater is obviously not working but the attendant asked us to let the water running for 15mins and it will get hot water after that. How wasteful! Even after 15min the water is still cold and we were given another room to change.
3rd room: Again the WC cover has shit stain on it! Reception no longer answering the call we guess because it’s after 12am already and we were just too exhausted to change room anymore! The room is on the top floor and it was hot like oven! Aircond is not cold enough and we have to sleep without the blanket.
Will never go back again!
8.84km from downtownR&F Princess Cove located at the heart of Johor Bahru town area. City square & Komtar shopping mall within walking distance. The nearest airport is Senai International, 23 km from R&F Princess Cove.
8.9km from downtown- Location is convenient and safe. 24-hours Muslim eatery below hotel and police post diagonally opposite. - Furniture and interior look like hostel, a bit dated looking. - Ashtray on bedside table in air-con room??? - Room not clean. Beddings off-white - not crisp clean, greasy and have body odour smell. Likely unwashed. - Air-con weak, at times smell of cigarette. - Hotel aisle stunk of cigarette smoke. - Disturbed by loud thumping noises and furniture dragging during day and night. - Room facing street can be noisy especially at night with live band music from opposite, till 3AM. - No refund - partial or full for bad experience. Room change only allowed within first 5 minutes of entry. - A bit expensive and not value for money.

8.94km from downtownFriendly staff. In particular, night security is very kind. I arrived late at the hotel and gave me a guide to find a place to exchange money. The location is as strong as this one, and it's overwhelmingly clean and comfortable compared to other hotels in the same area, as if recently renovated. The location is a 5-minute walk from the popular night market and a 5-minute walk from JB Central Station and City Square. Right in front of the building is a 24 hour food alley where breakfast is served for 5-10 ringgits. A convenience store is conveniently located on the first floor of the building. The cleanliness of scores is due to the smell of cigarettes in corridors and other areas. It is unfortunate that we did not feel the sunlight in the morning, so please stay in the sunny window room.
9.03km from downtownEverything is enough for unfussy guests. The design of the bathroom and wasteful dead spaces (oh your guest is a designer)! Whether that be a complete lack of partition between sleeping and bathing quarters, glass walls, or loos without doors, you can wave goodbye to your washroom privacy upon check-in - and who wants to do that? I guess it could be sort of mysterious and sexy in the right circumstances, but it's definitely only awkward when you're sharing the room with your family members. Some things are best kept private. Apart from that, we felt uncomfortable with the sticky floor. Price-wise, it is considered pricey for a 3-star hotel room, even after discounts.
9.09km from downtownThe hotel located at a small hill at bukit meldrum facing the view of singapore and the straits. Very conveniance to get public transport. There's a new shopping complex located just a walk away from the hotel. I can easly get my food and stuff there. Th room is a studio type aquipt wt small pantry so i can heat my take away food. The service was good. Room was big and clean. Breakfast was sent to the room due to the PKP. I really happy to stay here and will come again.
Hotels Near Opp Blk 253 In Singapore Review
Just 2 days before my check-in date, I've already given a 5 stars rating! Reason? I received an email from the hotel to do eCheck-ins! Upon doing so, I also received another email for booking of breakfast, pools, gyms etc! OMG! How many hotels have this super convenient and how many of you had even queued from 3pm for hours for check-ins? This is my first and the best hotels experience even before I step into the hotel! THIS IS REALLY AWESOME! Oh, I haven't started to comment on my staycation yet ah... Yap, not yet, and on top of that, an sms was sent a day before allocating a much earlier time(I don't wanna share the exact timings but you'll never imagine! 🤭) to avoid crowdings. And can you imagine 1 day before my check-in date, I've completed all my eCheck-ins, breakfast, gym and pool bookings! On the check-in date, I just scan the QR code which was issued and it took less than 5-10mins for the staff to prepare the room cards for us to start our staycation! Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful everywhere! As for the room and breakfast, I'll just let the photos do the talkings! 👍
The hotel is located in a good location. There are many food centers around. If you want to do something for yourself, there are supermarkets and food markets. It is very convenient to buy things. It is also close to the subway. The hotel is very clean, and the public bathrooms are also cleaned. There are two floors with ladies-only bathrooms. Because of the special period, there are few people staying in the store, so it is not crowded.
Everything here is perfect!
We booked it for a mini-moon right after our solemnisation and was greeted with warmth and surprises! They surprised us a bottle of champagne and a cake for the night!
The service crews were super friendly, thoughtful and always with a smile on! Everybody here was really attentive and the service provide were very guest focused.
The breakfast served was delicious and hearty. We were also served with evening cocktails that comes with light bites and unlimited cocktails to taste! The in room dining we ordered was great too! We could dine at the balcony and it was really romantic.
The overall environment here is serene and pleasant that allows you to recharge and relax. It made us felt like we are overseas in a resort.
A big shoutout and thank you to everyone at The Barracks Hotel for making our mini moon memorable and for all the warmth and hospitality during our stay here.
We love it and definitely returning back again! 💜
The hotel is very clean and tidy. Staff are very firendly polite. The cafe Lodge in the hotel have alot of variety of foods. Asian/Western/foods. A lot of nice promotions foods. I have a take away breadfast is very good. Miss Erica working the cafe. She is very friendly and helpful person. In ordering my food for take away. I bought a box of mooncake from the cafe. Is very nice taste and have alots of flavour.. The room inthe hotel is spacious and clean. Nice vacation in Ywca stay. Thank 😊 to the staffs and management.
This place has very, very good customer service which i must first commend in the first sentence of this review. I was there for 3 days and two nights and there was the same staff throughout my stay, day and night. But he was friendly, helpful and jovian. It actually seemed like he was the one who did absolutely everything in the hotel. Be aware that this hotel IS in the red light district of Singapore. My room was a single bed room, and the only single bed room in the already small hotel. It was unfortunately crawling with ants along the wall, a tile or two had chipped or fell off. The wall hiding behind the toilet door wasn't to die for either, the room didn't feel complete, but it was livable. I did get the opportunity to go into the other rooms, the double bed room and family room. Those were definitely more decent, they felt cleaner and were better maintained. They even had a cosy feel to them. It comes with breakfast in the vicinity's small kitchen. Don't expect a wide spread or a 4 star hotel breakfast, but it was pretty decent for it's standard. Bread, a fruit, protein (eggs, tuna or others), rice or porridge. There are plenty of food around the area, hawkers mostly. But there are three mrt stations within walking distance, and Paya Lebar Square is about 900m (12 - 18min walk) from the hotel. In all, it isn't a place for fussy stayers. But if you're pretty easy going, don't want to pay premium prices for an accommodation and get your own room and toilet, then one can definitely consider this place.
the front counter was patient and very kind towards us. the room however did not come with any bottled water which was depressing. the bed and shower was great! cleanliness can be improved
I've been to this hotel several times. The customer service is usually good. I extended my stay and moved to Cabin M. But I had a very unpleasant experience this time round with the live chat officer Claude. I understand that late check out is based on availability. But Claude was being unreasonable, telling me that the hotel is fully booked when the room I stayed in was still available on trip app. He also said there is no late check out on Sundays but I usually get complimentary check out atleast till 12.30 on my previous stays on a Sunday before. Extremely disappointing and thus I've to give 1 star for the service where I usually give a 5.
Always had a good stay at Conforto Hotel but this time round, it wasn't tat👍.. The tv was not working as it had no signal.. The bed was kinda noisy as i toss and turn.. The hotel should change the bed as it seems kinda fragile..
Miss the Chinese lady who used to work there.. She was very helpful whenever i asked to change room.
Very friendly staff, they will answer any questions you have and will greet you with a smile. The location is suitable, there is a bus stop located very close which is convenient. The breakfast is simple but some toast, cereal and coffee it good for me. The bathrooms are always clean, and there is always hot water. The rooms are clean with convenient storage. If traveling to Singapore by yourself specially for my ladies this is a good place to stay. Oh and there is an amazing ice cream shop close bya and may restaurants.
We booked the family room. It was really compact, but our kids were very happy cos they had to experience the bunk bed. They even refused to leave and cant wait to get back to the room cos they just love the bunk beds. However, if u are staying for a few days, it might get a bit uncomfortable and squeezy because the room is really too ‘cozy’.
We felt that the placement of the plugs were not strategic - they were very far from the main bes and in between the bunk beds, may not be safe as it is near kids and they may play with the plugs. It was hard to charge our phones while resting on our bed cos the plugs were too far… also no bedside table or shelf to put our phones or even remote control...
Table is the kids table so adults have to sit on the floor while eating with kids. Perhaps not so suitable for those who may not be able to sit on the floor for long periods or pregnant mums.
However, location is very very convenient. Food is just a few steps away and no worries about it. Parking was ok too, night parking was affordable - maybe try not to park too long if u are planning to drive here cos no complimentary parking. But we managed to get parking space in front of the hotel so that’s a bonus for us (although we had to make a few rounds for ppl to leave before securing a parking lot.
Due to being near a main road, it gets very noisy at night with cars speeding, so light sleepers may need to consider some ear plugs? Otherwise, bed is comfy but abit too high - not suitable for old folks or heavily pregnant women. :)
Overall, for a one night stay, we still enjoyed ourselves and enjoyed the hotel. Not much facilities, so it’s really more of a hotel to place things and then get out and explore sg.
I would still return back because it’s really a nice hotel, convenient and affordable! 👍🏻
Staff is very friendly too!
We’ve been to Arcadia plenty of times and always enjoyed our stay. This time around we got a room on the 1st floor. It was bigger than other rooms of its kind. We were worried there might be more sound disturbances on the lower levels but were pleasantly surprised not to encounter any such issues. As usual, service staff were prompt, pleasant and very friendly.
The four of us stayed here on our visit to singapore. The front desk lady charged or room deposit instead of merely taking a credit card number to charge later in case of damages (this was against policy I discovered later). We stayed in a room with a queen bed and two bunk beds, ensuite bathroom, plus a small balcony. The room was clean and comfortable - all features functioned properly. The location is far from the main areas of the city and on the other side of singapore from the airport. A subway station is about 10-15 minutes walk away. A bus stop is directly in front of the guesthouse. It's a solid 30 minute trip away from little india or little china. Being a hostel we had concerns about noise at night but were not bothered by any. We did not utilize the breakfast option but did eat at the restaurant across the street and found it acceptable. On checkout I found that they could not refund the deposit. After working with the manager over the next several days she refunded the deposit to me via paypal instead of a credit to my original card. That was not desirable at all, but was the best she said she could do. On the whole this was a nice stay, I only advise you to be cautious about your room deposit.
Very good, this price is very good.
Supera cosy and spacious hotel location can be better but still manageable walking distance around 500m to ION and other shopping Center it’s like at the corner of orchard to the malls. Staff accommodating and hope to have more cheap offers from the hotel

Booked the pool view room for my birthday. Came with my husband and 2 kids. We really enjoyed the stay. The room are spacious. Bed and pillow are comfy. Got to hang out at thw balcony. Spacious bath tub for the kids. We enjoyed splashzone and Buds! Really a destination in itself. Worth every dollar. We booked last minute but its still affordable after $100 srv. The breakfast was sent to our room which save us the hassle from going down. We opted for nasi lemak and it was nice. We were served by Mr Arif during check in. Excellent service! During check out, a lady did oir checkout and she aplogizes for the room that we ready late. We were ok with it because we came during peak period. Kinda expect tt. But she was very nice. Thank u for the awesome stay
Since Ritz Carlton is such an iconic hotel in Singapore, we love to spend our staycation here. Booked 2 rooms but were not allocated on the same floor. The room is well-maintained and the swimming pool/jacuzzi experience is very relaxing though our stay was during public holiday. Swimming pool is 90-min slot. One can also walk into the spa to enjoy the jacuzzi.
Only book room without breakfast as we want to explore the Millenia Walk/Marina Square are with plenty of food options.
Of course, must bring bath bomb to enjoy the bath tub experience with the view of Singapore skyline.
Was very unlucky to have had to experience the scheduled building outage during our stay, which was only communicated to us after we made a booking. There was no indication of the outage on their official website (which we checked before booking on Trip.com) and nothing additional was done other than to advise guests to explore the area. Toiletries were 2 months past expiry! Everything here is done manually, you'll have to call reception to book the gym/pool or for housekeeping. Requested for items using their in-room mobile phone which has an app for housekeeping, waited 1.5hr and nothing came. Doubt anyone checks the system. You'll also have to wait quite a bit for requested items even if you called reception. Staff were friendly but there's room for improvement on the service. Their "Enjoy unparalleled service..." statement on the official website was definitely not what we experienced.
The pool only has about 4 sunbeds due to social distancing measures so get there on time if you want a good spot.
Upside: Spacious apartment, lovely view, comfortable bed, pretty well equipped kitchen. The in-room mobile phone contains guides for the appliances. There's a door separating the kitchen and bedroom which will help keep the cooking smell at bay. Lots of food options around, with Fairprice and Don Don Donki nearby so you can buy whatever ingredients you prefer to cook in the apartment. Several cafes located in the building for your coffee fix. Just a tad troublesome to have to keep changing lifts to get to the retail space.
Good choice for overnight stay. Location is excellent for bus traveler but far away from MRT. Famous chicken rice and rice dumpling nearby. Cleanliness ok but could find previous tenants' hair easily on corner and floor. Toilet/bathroom is small and tv has bad channel signal. Overall, overall above standard.
No window, no air conditioning, no smell in the room, no elevator, this time living on the 4th floor, you need to climb the stairs. The room is small but full of five organs. It is located in the middle of two big roads. There are bus stops on both sides. You can walk from Aljunied Station. There are 7-11 shops on the left hand side of Exit A of Aljunied Station. You can buy 100G with your passport. The M1 (12 SGD) calling card, next to a small food center, tastes great. The young lady at the front desk is kind and Chinese can pass.
Place was huge and clean! Bed was very comfortable. Thought the garden would be big but it’s enough for 2 people. Staffs were nice and polite. There was overcrowding during check-in but front desk staffs were organised and managed the crowd well. Thank you for the pleasant service! ✨
Simple yet clean.
More to improve such as having a set of clothes hook in bathroom and the right wardrobe cabinet door when open, it will hit on the bathroom light switch (maybe having a stopper may help) which makes electric arcing sounds in the switch.
During this pandemic, a quite abit of reluctant on using the cups provided in the room. Eventually i used it after washing it with boiling water before making coffee. Maybe foam disposable cup could be a good suggestion.
Guest of Room 608
We used to be regular guest to this hotel when it was still under the management of the previous owner. We go there regularly on weekend because of its good location, good service friendly staffs, clean and reasonable comfort provided. This is the first time we check into the hotel under new the management.
We look forwards to a good new experience under the new management.
Unfortunately, we were both very disappointed due to the following reasons which I personally thing the management to look into.
1. The mattress is very uncomfortable as we can feel the spring the moment we lay on it. The previous mattress was alot better.
2. There's cleanliness issue as there's small cockroach
found in the room.
3. The room water heaters water is not hot at all. We informed the staffs and changed to another room but still there isn't any different. We ended up having to take cold shower at night.
We sincerely hope the new management can look into it.
Hotel is walkable from bus stop, nearby has a lot of coffee shops and namely 2 cafes (Chye Seng Huat Hardware + Wimbly Lu)— has a lot of food choices! Hotel room was cosy, limited 5 tv channels (5 in total), shower heater was hot and adequate at first and after a while became barely lukewarm. Hotel provides hairdryer upon request, provides free minibar and a good late checkout at 1pm.. just that it has renovation on a Sunday.. without pre-informing us. Overall still ok but we don’t think we will come back to stay again
location ok 10 mins walk from bugis mrt. room quite small and toilet abit dirty. receptionist is working hour so aft that cnt find anyone to talk to / ask for things. need download app to check in check out abit hassle. book one night to staycay w frens ok
The lighting is great, the bed is really comfortable, and you can rest well at night. Very satisfied, the decoration and design of the room feels very good. This location is too convenient. It is about 7 minutes walk from Metro Line 5 to ensure that all major attractions can be reached. A quiet and beautiful time is the travel attitude I want. It is very interesting here! To sum up, it is worth the money.
Location was great, there are many restaurants around the area. Staff were friendly and helpful when we asked for more glasses and ice!
Michelin Songpabakute, the most delicious place to eat twice in Singapore, was just below the property. 3 minutes to Singapore River.
Very good location with alot of yummy food around. Only bad point was the area below the table for workdesk not clean up properly and at times can see ants crawling around the room. N some rooms have disney channels in the king room while some dont so its totally by luck.
Good service provided by the staffs there and all were very friendly.
Check in was a breeze and I loved that the access way into Bugis Junction is kept open. Enjoyed the meal at Chikuyotei and the additional 10% off given to hotel guests. Was promised an anniversary gift by the reservations department but none turned up. Online photos shows the rooms having a nespresso machine but turns out they were only found in the expensive rooms. Disappointing but did not let it bother us too much.
My only gripe during my stay is that the air con in the hotel is weak. The curtains were drawn and the toilet door was closed and yet the cooling temperature was nowhere to be felt. Ihad it set at the lowest temperature and yet was perspiring. I called up the front desk to send maintenance while I was out of my room, not sure if they came. I returned after and the air con felt cooler or maybe because it was night time. Perhaps Intercontinental Singapore is one of those hotels with a thermostat for show and the guests don't have any real control.
Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Location is convenient to nearby eateries, convenience store, bus stop and ZhongShan Mall. Room is considered quite spacious with basic budget hotel. But however , the toilet basin and toilet bowl were quite stink though.. Only this need to be improved.
