Was served by Kelson for the two days. I enjoyed hotels in the suburbs, away from the major tourist attractions to explore the neighborhood. This is a business hotel with resort feel.
Upgraded to Club room 1809 for solo staycation. Rooms were clean, air-con is a bit cold. From my window, i can see beautiful city lights at night and sunrise in the morning. Since travel is not happening anytime soon in times of COVID, I can only pretend that I'm looking at the Manhattan skyline.
Towels were provided for the pool and gym.
Breakfast was included in package, along with $10 credit. Food wasn't fantastic, you can give it a miss. Disappointed that Coffee Belt was closed on weekdays. Would like to try their coffee next time.
Walking distance to ABC Brickworks, Alexandra Village Food Centre, Queensway Shopping Centre (an old school mall) and Ikea too. So many dining options. Would have extended my stay had I known there so many interesting things around the neighborhood.

St Regis delivers excellent quality service. It all started with a warm welcome and helpful smile during arrival! They are incredibly capable of meeting customer needs, very helpful and responsive as they paid careful attention on each of their guests. I felt really comfortable and doesn't feel lost at all being in St Regis for the first time. Do note that we chose St Regis hotel as our honeymoon staycation, totally fell in love with their executive deluxe room especially the stunning marbled bathroom which is equipped with a beautiful tub in the center. We literally spend most of our time in our hotel room. As we're having our honeymoon there, they surprised us with a chocolate cake and fruits followed by beautiful rose petals beautifully spread all over the luxurious marble table.
One of our favourite is their twenty four hours butler service, we asked for their signature hot chocolate every day of our stay. You can also request them to unpack your luggage or their famous signature bubblebath service. We're glad that we've chosen the right honeymoon staycation in Singapore!

The two disadvantages are that dry and wet do not separate. There is a shower on the toilet. The shower room is super small and the shower water is super strong. It can't reach people at all when it is opened to the largest extent. The direction of the hose and shower hanging on it is not easy to control. In short, the bathing experience is very poor.

Husband and I stayed in the Superior room for 7 days, this was supposed to be a non-refundable booking if we cancelled out. Here are my observations; PROS: great location, polite cleaning staff - that's it! CONS: Extremely overpriced for the kind of hotel this is - an "hourly hotel", which sitting in another country at the time of booking, we were totally unaware of and truly regret booking. 1) We booked this place on Booking.com and only provided our debit card number and expiry date, to our utter shock, a couple of hours later the entire amount was withdrawn from our bank without acknowledgement by the hotel. We contacted the hotel and Booking.com and requested immediate cancellation, both refused! Extremely unprofessional! How to trust a hotel that withdraws your money even before you check-in, and our check-in was scheduled 48 hours later! We have stayed in many hotels before, and this is the first time we encountered this unprecedented and dubious situation! 2) The room was very tiny, with hardly any space to walk around or store luggage. The bathroom was spacious with 24hrs hot water. Towels, and a toothbrush set were provided. 3) Amenities in the room included an average spring mattress, not good for those with spinal problems, uncomfortable pillows, a TV that didn't work, hairdryer, electric kettle, bottled water and tea/coffee packets. No desk... no chair...the room was that tiny! 4) A window that was sealed shut ! So no access to fresh air, only stale cigarette-filled A.C. air - terrible ! 5) Room was only made up, and sheets were not changed on a daily basis. 6) I do not wish to be judgemental, but this is a place that let out "rooms by the hour", if you get my drift. On a personal note, I would never have chosen this establishment for a "family" because it was quite uncomfortable for us. Therefore, I will not recommend this place for those hoping for a nice Singapore vacation or stay. FromUS$50.00

The location was excellent, on the edge of Orchard Road in Singapore, the main commercial street in Singapore, so you can rest in quite, and step out into all the action.
The rooms were generously sized, and very clean.
Service was impeccable, very personal and attentive to details. We were on a vacation with a child, and the hotel arranged for an extra bed and child toiletries (with child sized slippers too!) at no additional prompt or cost.
We were also checked in earlier than expected, and greeted with welcome chocolates and cookies.
The cleaning staff also gave us cable ties for our messy phone charging cables.
Restaurant and Swimming pool staff were also all smiles.
Everything was perfect, except maybe the hair dryer was a bit old and not so effective. Or maybe it's just us being too used to our own d*son hair dryers.

From the moment I stepped into Orchard Rendezvous Hotel, I loved the lobby. The staff at the counter, Diana, checked me in very smoothly and informed me about the halal breakfast which made me very happy. 2 weeks earlier, I called the mainline and they told me it was halal. So I was very happy to hear that breakfast was halal at Level 17. Moving on to the lift, the staff nearby was very friendly and smiley too. Walking along the alley to my room was beautiful. It was brightly-lighted. Entering the room with balcony, I was really impressed at the CLEAN and UPDATED room. The toilet was also very clean without any moulds or foul smell.
As it was our wedding anniversary, they even sent a Tiramisu to our room!
The next day, in the morning, I called them to ask if we could ask for a late check-out at 2 pm and Sofia willingly gave it to us. When we went for breakfast at Level 17, Sofia was there too! And she served us our halal breakfast with a huge smile and she was so friendly. As she was very lively, I asked her if she ending her shift soon, she said she just started at 6 am this morning! WOW... if it were me, I would be grouchy hahahhaahah... and then we chatted with her again and again as she served us our food with coffee and orange juice for both my husband and me. When I told her that it was our wedding anniversary, she came out with a male colleague, Ex and they both gave us a box of truffles! Ex was also very friendly and welcoming.
Upon checking out, we met Diana again and she made everything smooth again.
While we were standing outside waiting for our ride, another staff, Deshan (i hope I got his name correctly!), who worked there for 49 years came and chat with us as well!
He told me and my husband that he was going to retire next week. We wish you all the best and it was our pleasure to have met you, Sir!
Orchard Rendezvous Hotel was fka Orchard Parade Hotel a long time ago. This hotel has been renovated and refurbished in 2018 and everything is clean and new.
I feel so home and welcomed and enjoyed my stay!
I will not hesitate to come back again.
Will definitely recommend to my friends and family!.

This is the warmest hotel I have ever stayed in. Transportation, dining, shopping are very convenient to the city center, and taxis can be called in 24 hours. Both front desk and room service are warm, warm, attentive and responsive ... especially worthy of praise is the tall and tall room service gentleman, and the front desk gentleman who called us a taxi at 4:30 in the morning, thanks They provided excellent service for our 16 days of residence. The Chinese people will never forget the help and support provided by Singaporeans for China's epidemic!
This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Transportation, catering and shopping are very convenient to the city center, and you can call a taxi in time 24 hours a day. Both front desk and room service are very warm, thoughtful, responsive ... Especially worthy of thumb up were the lanky room service man and the front desk man who hailed our cab at 4:30 am to airport. For their excellent service during our 16-day stay. To prebook your check in slot, need to go to official hotel website and reserve it in advance. No info from trip.com and hotel on this.
Check in and check out is fast and efficient once you did the reservation on official page.
Room is in good size for 2-3, clean, air condition working fine with min 20degree C. Sound proof of the room is not good, can heard people outside clearly. Can heard the rain outside too when rain high on the window.
Club room only come with afternoon tea, no lounge access. In room coffee only normal hotel room coffee and tea. Mini bar is empty. Club room gourmet breakfast end up is same breakfast for everyone in the hotel.
Bathroom is in good size but bath is shallow.
Hotel pool and gym no reservation needed, but first come first serve basis with 15 pax max.
Hotel served same plated breakfast set throughout 2 nights of my stay, which is congee&beehoon or English breakfast set. First day have those Machine made coffee, but second day only limited to normal coffee.

Signature Hilton breakfast at Opus Grill Bar
1)(Hashbrown and Bacon is not even fresh to the average standard),due to covid 19,limited to only one set for Hilton signature breakfast or one set for asian fish congee breakfast.(the fish congee set come with youtiao,and the youtiao you may feel that it is re-fry.Not fresh as well.You can only choose one!And you cannot order more than one set per pax.The portion is too small even for my wife who is considered small appetite.
2)10th floor by right should be a non smoking floor,when the moment we step into 10th floor,cigar smell everywhere at the foyer.
Pro of This Hilton Singapore:
1. we got a complimentary welcome "cheese cake"
2. We got a complimentary 30SGD voucher for the opus grill bar (which highly recommended for dating couple),service was great,dessert wine and opus burger is a must try.
3. Despite the breakfast standard,the waiters service attitude is still considered a 5star.Thumbs up for their service attitude.

Excellent stay! I don't know why the reviews aren't better, we were super pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room considering the low price we paid. Room was spacious, quality toiletries and coffee/tea provided. Toilet was clean, and bed was comfortable to sleep in. Location is also great, some people complain that it is far from the MRT but that was not a problem for us as we wanted to get away from more bustling areas. A short 10 minute walk from the MRT was bearable, and the location was across the road from many great food places like Tiong Bahru Bakery and Tiong Bahru Food Centre, and many smaller local establishments that were great finds as well. Service was fast and good, did not use any facilities but checked out the rooftop bar which seemed nice to hang out in. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others!
Only small complaints we have were the the TV resolution is low, but did not bother us much as we were not that interested in the TV. Also, the light switchboard is a bit old and wonky and takes a minute or so to use each time, but a small inconvenience for an overall great stay.FromUS$61.00

1. This time I stayed at 406, the room is really small (the overall area is larger than HK Black Tea House), the bed is very narrow, maybe the adaptability is good, and I slept well for 5 nights. The room can open two 24-inch suitcases at the same time. There are three drying racks, which are hidden under the TV cabinet and are fixed. Friends who plan to wash clothes should bring their own hangers. The air conditioning is strong, and summer clothes can be dried the next day. Slippers are not provided in the room and you need to bring your own. There is not enough room for sundries when the two people stay in, and they must be placed on the suitcase.
2. Sound insulation is OK, unless someone shouts loudly.
3. Brushed the hotel of 81 and finally chose this one. Good location, exit A of Outram Park Subway Station, walk straight after crossing the overpass, and you will be across the road. When you first went there, you went a long way with Google Navigation. Normal distance of 6 to 8 minutes. There is also a bus stop nearby for cars to Katong. Construction is underway near the subway in early September, see Figure 6.
4. Each room is equipped with a key, stay at the front desk when going out.
5. Before leaving, I also talked to the front desk (short-haired girls, with the English name beginning with the J) to talk a lot about Singapore. The staff were welcoming and courteous.
6. The hotel front desk can help to call taxis.
7. In the end, Zhonglu Lu is a community with a story. If you have time, you might as well shake it. Picture 8 must go, there are delicious and delicious on the second floor.FromUS$57.00

Due to travelling restrictions, my husband and I are confined to looking for staycation as our honeymoon after we got married this year. We had a really enjoyable stay in Shangri-la. We requested for earlier check-in at 12PM and was told that it will be subject to availability. When we arrive at the hotel at around 12PM, we were pleasantly surprised to be told that we are given a free upgrade to Valley Wing Deluxe Room and given access to the exclusive lounge with drinks, high tea and canapés available for us.
We had our dinner later on at Waterfall Restaurant which was part of the package that we bought on Trip.com. The 3-course meal that we had was really delicious with great atmosphere as we were seated outdoors at the pool side.
The service provided to us was impeccable. Perhaps the only small downside is the accessibility of the hotel if you don't drive. We pretty much stayed in the hotel during our entire trip so it wasnt really a big factor.
Would love to visit Shangri-la again in future :)

I booked for my fiancé's birthday and in lieu to celebrate New Years. Firstly, early check in was given as to prevent the crowd during the New Years Eve. Very smart move made by the hotel which I am very thankful for! It helps to control the crowd.
Trip.com has emailed me to WhatsApp the hotel as were told by the hotel to request for early check in. Replies by the hotel staffs were fast too!
After checking in, I called to reserve the pool but it was sad I could not go as it was raining! The room was rather small but that's fine by me! The shampoo and body wash given smells nice! I usually do not use hotel's shampoo/bodywash but this hotel's toiletries was quite nice! The view from the toiler was not bad too! You need to of course close the blind to have a private shower. Was given free macaroons delivered by the robots to my room as it was my fiancé's birthday! Super kind gesture made by the hotel staffs! We were super touched!
The next day, when I went down to pick up my breakfast as I choose to take away(can select to dine in or take away), the staff could not find my breakfast order as my breakfast order was misplaced by one of the staffs (the one I gave my order sheet to) But that's okay because I did not mind waiting for them to pack my food again.
I was also granted late check out!
Overall, pleasant stay! The team was all very friendly and approachable. Thank you!

Actually requested for highest floor with amazing view but they didn’t fulfil my request. It’s okay, they also mention to make advance booking for swimming pool and so we did, but pool is fully booked, felt so disappointed. During check in we try our luck again for the pool, lucky there is last 3 slot of us. Around 7pm went swimming, but no one was there. (Wonder why they say it’s fully book) 😕 In the afternoon try to make booking for pool again, again they say fully book. We didn’t bother to go down to check.
Aside from that, we do appreciate the gifts that comes in the package that include late check out at 6pm, inclusive of breakfast and semi lunch buffet for 2 adults. Room was very spacious and clean. Overall we are happy with our stay there. Definitely we come again.

Great service by all staff upon check-in, at the gym & swimming pool, at breakfast, housekeeping & also upon check-out. Very happy we received free upgrade for our room and it had a beautiful view in the bedroom & also in the huge bathroom with bathtub! We even received a brownie for our anniversary celebration.
F&B staff at breakfast were friendly and accommodating but the food quality and variety can be improved for the breakfast set menu since there is no buffet now. Gym & swimming pool was clean and easy to book. Wonderful location of hotel and complimentary parking was a bonus. Thank you for the wonderful stay :)

There was a 3-hour delay in checking-in but we were reasonably compensated in the form of complimentary parking and dining credits. Kudos to the front desk and concierge staff who were efficient and patient, especially with some unreasonable guests (no need to make things difficult for those who are trying to make your stay better). Food quality of in room dining was good and the safety measure was well managed at the pool. Thank you to all that have served us during our stay, you are Awesome!
Just one thing not so pleasant thou, the service attitude of a particular male staff at Ash and Elm was rather bad that’s why we decided not to dine there. Seemed like somethings don’t change (bad experience with Ash and Elm years back), so except for the restaurant, we would love to come back again 😁

Beds were clean and comfortable. Front desk staff service was friendly and professional. After the 1st night, was woken up by drilling and hammering noises at 9 plus in the morning. Breakfast in room dining was ordered at 930am, arrived at 1150am as in doom dining department could not cope w the huge amount of orders. Was informed that our breakfast would arrive at 1130am. So first day, wasn't impressed w renovation noises that disrupted our sleep and a breakfast that was more of brunch. Did request for room change and was given another room. Air conditioning in the new room was not working well n had to request for a fan. Overall, the old building and maintenance of the hotel would place it as a 4 star hotel rather than a 5-star rating.
