We spent in this hotel only 1 night, however, we had a very good impression. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We asked for a plate + spoon and the women from the reception kindly provided it for us. Delicious breakfast (the croissants were melting in the mouth 🙂 The hotel is located right next to the train stop, you can get to the center in 7-10 min. Good value for this price

Good wifi in the room and the common parts. Well-located, young international public with also some locals visiting the bar. Welcoming staff. The hostel seemed to have be renovated recently and is really good looking: clean bed sheets, clean room, very practical curtain on the bed that gives a minimal intimacy feeling. BUT at the same time, some ESSENTIAL stuff is missing: the 4 showers on my floor were blocked/clogged and full of filthy water, no lockers in the room that we could close with a lock (even if there is an extremely practical luggage room downstairs) and the 8 euros buffet breakfast was very minimal (too sweet, no eggs/cheese/ham, only oranges as vegetables). PS: looking on comments on other visitors, the showers are a recurrent pb :/

Hotel is nice with modern rooms that have a special young vibe as design. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good; area seems to be quiet at night; parking is underground - secured and paid (8eur/day). Across the street are stations for the public transport to city centre. If you want to visit de city and surroundings, it's a good option.

Where to start so much there is to say !!! We arrived the 20/08 for two nights and the person at the reception was sympathetic ( we should have enjoyed it because it will be the only one of the weekend) Home open only at 17:00 and until 19:00 should not be looted... Once our keys and the bip of the parking Paying recovery (8€ per day yet) we go up in our good size room ( studio) so we can widely put the parapluy beds of our twins. But you must not be too looking at the cleanliness ( bed king size does not (2 couch 1 person with a couch 2 person !! Fortunately you need warm because the room is not air-conditioned we will not need it) squeezed moquette, hair stick on the head of bed and under the bed, the bathroom has paint connections not made or to do, nothing to hang the towels or even the toilet paper on the laundry) The hotel is located in the centre of the city, and the hotel is located in the centre of the city. France 10€ for this is off price. But the worst is to come we go back from visit to 15:00 to sleep our twins and to be able to go back end of day in town to dinner and very impossible our card was demagnetize and the penalty despite a thirty call has never answered!!! But it must be admitted that it is very curiosous yet ! The next day breakfast is not better but there are fewer people ( that is already! ) we put our keys in the counter because no one has the reception yet and on the road we will receive a call from the director who wants to know if we are going !! We had a lovely 3 night stay recently. Our room was very nice. Large windows that you could open, tapestry curtains, view of St Paul and the river. Breakfast was included with plenty of options. The architecture is beautiful. It was close to bars on the river, close to the municipal baths (pools), restaurants near by on M****ille, near Gaulle and République tram stops and about a 15 min walk to the center of the historic district where the Notre Dame Cathedral is.

Our family, 2 adults and 2 kids, stayed here for one night on our trip to Strasbourg. The room was plenty big enough for our family. We had a large balcony as well, which was nice! Breakfast was included with the room and we even had it delivered to our room free of charge. The location was good. It was a little ways outside the city, but it is right next to a fantastic park. The Orangery Park was beautiful. We walked around with kids for several hours and had a great time.

Beautiful hotel, with great wine bar conveniently located at the brink of the ”Grande-Île”. 3min walk to Place Kleber, about 10min walk to the cathedral. Lot's of restaurants in the neighborhood. Comprehensive continental breakfast. You're getting a significant discount for parking in the nearby ”Indigo Kléber” (located Place de l’Homme de Fer). So first drop your car at the parking lot, present the ticket to the receptionist at the hotel and he will hand out a discounted ticket (roughly 50%). Rooms are split in two catagories: facing the back yard: very quite. Facing the street: very noisy, the whole night long. We've been in luck staying in one of the quite rooms. However our friends got one of the rooms facing the street having a terribly noisy night. And like in a lot of other hotels: no power outlets for your charging devices. You've got to crawl on the floor, pulling out power chords from unneeded stuff to get your gears charged.

Tu-W, July 12-13, ~9 pm check-in. Horrible girl at desk—tall and thin with light brown hair and almond eyes. As the lone desk attendant, she ignored us while she finished writing something without acknowledging us. Then when she finally bothered to look up, she was very sour and acted like we were wasting her time. As she presented the credit card reader, she said to insert the card as I reflexively tried to tap it on the contactless icon as at nearly every other establishment. She repeated, “INSÉRER la carte,” like I was a jerk. After staying at 30 hotels during an extended tour of France, Italy, and Switzerland, it was definitely the rudest reception we’d ever gotten. Every other place was much more accommodating. She made me want to leave our room in a mess, though we did not. The breakfast attendant was also somewhat militant about checking room numbers and made people uncomfortable for being in the buffet line. Though it’s a good location, I’d recommend another place for better hospitality.

Stayed for 3 nights for the Christmas markets in December. When we arrived we had to move room as the shower was so small that I couldn’t stand up in it. The staff were nice and moved us to a room beside reception. The room we moved to was quite spacious, and very clean. The bar in the hotel stayed open until 1.30 a.m which was very good for a drink on the way back from Strasbourg city centre. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the city centre and ideal for people interested in walking. Maybe not ideal for elderly people or people with mobility issues. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return.

Free parking on the roadside, there is a police station next to it, don't worry about someone smashing the window. Beside the high speed, it is convenient to drive by yourself. The front desk of the hotel worked very well and helped us to see the parking location. The fly in the ointment is that there is no refrigerator in the room, and there is no disposable toiletries.

We stayed at the ideally situated Hotel Le Grillon during the famous Christmas Market festivities, The welcome was friendly and efficient and the room was spotlessly clean and calm. The hotel is attached to Le Perestroika. A bar for late night tipplers. There is a lift to all floors and a filling breakfast is taken in a room adjacent to the bar. It’s situation and price makes it a good value for money hotel in the beautiful city of Strasburg.

Compared to the ibis and other hotels near the train station, this price is not so high. This is more than one kilometer from the railway station. In fact, there are several mercures along the way. But this is recommended by Ctrip. The advantage is that he is in the city center, next to the Spring Department Store, and the lV shop. Shopping is convenient. But the service is not as good as the previous ibis.

The location is very good, but the hygiene is not good. The room where I stayed for the first night has a taste of stool. After talking to the front desk, I will change other rooms soon, but the curtains in the room are very dusty. The equipment and design inside are completely different. Star, equivalent to 2 stars, and there is not much choice for breakfast, just some bread and cheese, all the drinks are drink machines, no hand-handed, so it is not four stars. The first night was booked in a superior room, but it did not meet the advanced room at all, and it was subject to further improvement in all aspects.

Outstanding architecture improves the soul and the Hotel and Brasserie Les Haras set in historic stables surrounded by stunning modern architecture certainly did it for us. The ambiance soon took over and the stress of our journey was washed away. The room was classically simple with a beautiful bathroom. The air conditioning was perfect and the bed super comfortable (the best pillows ever). Breakfast was sumptuous with lovely friendly staff and took place on a terrace with gardens surrounded by stunning modern buildings. We asked at reception to tell us where the spa was located and the receptionist said at “follow me” and then told a little of the history of the location. The sunlight on the pool makes a beautiful display on the ceiling - there is a steam room and sauna. Mention should be made of the concierge service who wisk your car away to a super secure site in an adjoining street (tv cameras and barriers) - they were so helpful and efficient. The hotel is three minutes walk from Petit France and a brisk 15 minutes from the Cathedral but feels like it is almost in the country. We will certainly come back when Les Haras’ wellbeing has worn away.

There was no smile at the front desk when I checked in, and the corridor was very narrow and the room was small and the impression was average. Later, I found that it was quite good. The price is really high. The small lobby always has hot tea and snacks. The front desk is very patient in answering questions. Especially the man who didn’t smile when he checked in on the first day was actually very Professional and very welcoming, the recommended places to visit are very worthwhile, because Strasbourg has come to work without doing any homework, and it is very pleasant to meet such a recommendation. Go to the breakfast restaurant to buy a cup of coffee, the waiter is very nice to say that it is provided free of charge, just drink, do not pay. The hotel walks to the train station and walks for 12 minutes without luggage. Drag the suitcase for a few minutes. It is within walking distance of all the old town attractions.

I don’t know if it was the reason why Ctrip booked the room. The room I gave was not in the main building, but in another building. Good experience except for the lack of WiFi during the last two days. Also a very unfortunate incident. When I ordered a bottle of white Châteauneuf du Pape, I was brought a bottle which had been opened earlier and whose cork had been replaced. Instead of having me taste it, the waiter served us (my wife and muself) a small quantity of wine and left us to our own devices. The wine was completely oxidized and undrinkable. When I complained, another waiter replaced the bottle. The first waiter then proceeded to remove the cork before us but almost poured some in the same glasses which contained the first one ! Only when we protested did he bring us clean glasses but still didn’t let us taste it. When I finally did, it was borderline oxidized but still drinkable. This lead me to believe the first bottle had been rejected by a previous customer and that the whole stock of Châteaneuf du Pape should have been returned to the producer.

The hotel is very close to the church and the small French area, and you can walk right and walk across the bridge. The entrance is the tram stop, and you can also travel by car. The microwave in the room can be used. The backyard has its own parking lot. It is very convenient for 10 euros a day. We have two days to go and have free access. (Parking in the white box on the roadside is free from 6pm to 8am).

Our family of 4 (kids 14 and 10) really loved this hotel. We stayed 3 nights in one of the large loft apartment rooms on the 4th floor. With the wood beams it really gave us the feeling we were in France and it looked straight out of Beauty and the Beast inside. I did bump my head a couple times on the diagonal beams but that’s ok. If you are over 6 feet 2 inches then you will probably be bumping your head on the overhead cross beams. Rooms had AC. Breakfast was good. Parking is very close by. And the kids loved Theo the parrot in the lobby! Most importantly, the location is great - very short walk to cross the bridge to get onto Strasbourg “island” and super close to the Cathedral. We went for a morning stroll to the cathedral area before the crowds showed bc we were so close. The staff was great, especially the man who was working evenings (wish we got his name). Highly recommend Hotel Beaucour apartment rooms for families traveling.

      Strasbourg Downtown
The location of the hotel is perfect, especially if you come by train. A 10-min walk from the station, and from there you can walk pretty much everywhere in the old town. The tram stop ”Homme de Fer” is also rather close. The room was clean and relatively quiet: (i) sometimes you could hear people walking because of the wooden floors; and (ii) if you have the windows open then you get some of the noise from the outside; but it finished when the restaurants close. The TV could have more channels; but that was not an issue for me. My only issue with the room was the bed; as I found the mattress too soft for me, and the pillows were not comfortable at all. I think the pillows need to be replaced because it was hard to find a good flat area. The staff was welcoming and the check-in/out was rather quick. We didn't have breakfast though (it would be nice to have vegan options).
