We were in Eugene for a Convention. I stayed in the motel room most of the time alone. Never was I scared or afraid. I felt very safe. The room was VERY CLEAN. The bathroom was great. We had enough room and never felt boxed in. I amazed how you never heard any of your neighbors flushing toilets or the shower running. Thank you for this great room. Prices were wonderful

One of the 3 worst motels I have ever booked in... So bad I did not stay the night. I booked a room through Expedia because I was working entertainment at an event that was going to run well past midnight and didn't want to drive 3 hours home after. I didn't need anything fancy, just clean, safe and reasonably comfortable. While checking in, the other guests that I saw looked way too much like characters on COPS, and I don't mean the ones with badges! Sadly, the motel staff was not much better. I didn't have time before my gig to start looking for something else, so I checked in at about 6PM. The place seems to be a regular problem spot with local police due to the clientele. I was required to sign a waiver notice for evictions due to drugs, fights, loud noise, intoxication, etc. Entering the room, the smell was distinctly like ”stripper's perfume”, if you know what I mean. The bedspread looked like someone had been walking on it with filthy bare feet. I had been driving for several hours, and still had to work most of the night, so I pulled back the dirty bedspread to take a nap. After about 20 minutes, I heard a loud argument between one of the managers and a guest about whatever they were doing in their room. Getting ready for my gig, I didn't feel safe leaving anything of value in the room, so I packed it all back into my car. At that point, I decided that I would rather drive through the night after working, than come back to Executive Motel. $93 for a 20 minute nap!

This was my sixth or seventh time staying at the Hampton Inn in Eugene and it continues to be one of my favorite places to stay in Oregon. The employees at the front desk are consistently helpful and easy too deal with. The breakfasts are great. I also love the heated swimming pool! The rooms are always comfortable, and I’m always amazed at how quiet the hotel is after 10:00 pm. Finally, the hotel is close to restaurants, shopping, and most importantly, the University of Oregon. We stayed here to see a concert at the McDonald Theatre just down the street. We really liked the room and free breakfast. The separation between the bedroom area and bathroom area is one of the best ever. The front desk clerk was very nice. The hotel is very conveniently located in downtown Eugene. We would give it 5 stars, but the bed was just a bit too firm.

My stay was pretty much perfect at the Candlewood. At check in the front desk agent Crystal was so delightful and very helpful, she made sure to exceed our expectations, right from the start we felt very welcomed! A big shout out to Crystal for doing such a great job and being extra helpful with all our questions!!Our room was very clean and tidy, spacious and a great view from the free upgrade we received at check in. The rooms and bedding were clean, but the room had odor in the room. Check-in staff was very rude and rooms were not ready at check-in time. In fairness, the hotel was at capacity due to a game and a nearby forest fire. We also did not get the type rooms that were reserved. The breakfast was great. Nice variety and plenty of food and beverages.

This is a clean, modern hotel with a helpful staff and excellent breakfast, BUT the hotel's designer (at least for the main building in the front) seemed to focus on form over function. In particular, it seems that little attention was paid to sound-proofing, either between floors or from outside. I was awakened in the middle of two nights out of four, once by a noisy room above and once by street noise. It even seemed like the guest room windows were single-pane, which is ridiculous both for energy and noise. Other minor issues: though guests are provided with multiple large towels, the bathroom had only one small towel rod. And my wife disliked the sliding bathroom door that didn't really close off that room. There are apparently other buildings in the rear, but we know nothing of them. In summary, this hotel is a mixed bag: nice in many ways but don't expect quiet, especially if you have a room near Franklin Blvd.

I had the pleasure to spend thirteen nights here whilst working as a journalist covering the World Athletics Championship. The first thing that got me hooked, was the simply addictive lime & ginger drink, on of three flavors constantly available near the elevator. There os workout gear in every room, it's a pleasant walk to reach downtown. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, Reception staff is quick and available 24 hours, in the evening Brice knows how to run a good bar and the burger was the best one I had during my stay and I had four of them in thirteen days. Delicious breakfast Greek yoghurt and granola was my favorite, together with the burrito. . Allow me one small and slightly pedantic remark: thanks for purchasing one espresso/cappuccino machine. Thankfully there is a great local small coffee shop/bakery Palace a two minute walk away, try their home made cookies but do not go there too late as they are a local sensation.

Before I do any review I believe it is necessary for people to realize what we are reviewing. This is a value-based motel, not a Hilton, or Hyatt. Based upon that I gave it four out of five stars. The room was clean, the front desk staff was helpful, and my son and I both slept well the three nights we were there. This Motel property is conveniently located right off of Interstate 5 at the south edge of Eugene where deer can sometimes be seen wandering about in the wooded hills that rise up above the back side of the motel. I’ve stayed here for quite a few nights over the past decade when visiting family members, and I’ve always been greeted with friendly staff at the front desk and given a clean, comfortable room at an affordable rate. This latest stay over Memorial Day weekend was no exception Rashad, the desk clerk who checked me in, was courteous and outgoing, gave me a choice of room location, and clearly described all the available amenities. I’ll definitely be considering another stay here when I come back down to Eugene again.
