It seemed like it was part of the Novo Retail Store/General Merchandise. There are no available parking lots in front of the hotel entrance itself. It could be the typical hotel for budget travelers and the type who just wanna lay down and rest due to the extreme heat and/or weather conditions that the bustling city brings. The heat can really exhaust your energy. Apart from it is right beside the store above mentioned, it is also surrounded by a variety of commercial establishments big and small alike. A few minutes walk are convenient shops and stores like Dunkin' Donuts, 7-11, Mercury Drug and Jollibee. I have mentioned the following stores since the hotel seemed to serve only breakfast for overnight guests which can only be served as early as 7am only and not earlier than that. There is a security guard that open and closes the door for you. A couple of attendants at the front desk where you can leave the key card/s every time you go out. Check in very flexible as well as check out time. This is one very good thing about this hotel, you can check in any time and check out anytime as well. Meaning they can just compute the hours you used and charge only those hours to you. You can pay the estimated hours you wish to stay and can add o\n to whatever extension you may used up. There are no elevators though. So the elderly may take time to go upstairs. On the second floor landing is a coffee shop with no coffee, supplies and barista. But it's understandable, it seemed that it's supposed to cater to your table and chairs needs in case you and your company of family and friends wants to eat together. On our floor as well as in the lobby, a refreshments counter is available for snacks and beverages such as water and colored drinks. As for the room's amenities, ours had a single queen-sized bed, maybe because our companions then assumed that since we were a couple, they have already though ahead that we will b needing "sexy time" if you know what I'm talking. But actually, we were ready to share a dorm or a family room but it seems they do not want us to be "family" or dorm mates. Anyway, going back, sorry for the blabber, apart from the bed, of course, there is air conditioning. 2 pillows, a blanket, 2 bath towels, 2 pairs of slippers, a roll of tissue, 2 round soaps and I think there are sachets of shampoo as well. There are also 2 sets of toothbrushes and toothpastes. The hotel, apart from the lack of parking lot is still near some destinations like an art and music place which I forgot the name but I will also do a review on that place, SM Lipa and Robinson's Lipa. View from the very small window not to mention is the window of the other rooms. Finally, I think this hotel is really practical due to its very flexible hours. It has reasonable rates based on the amenities and toiletries for guests' disposal/use. Sadly, it has no parking lot right in front the hotel's entrance. Generally, it is still great.

The location of Hotel Gregorio is good. Close to shops, markets and the beautiful cathedral in Lipa. The staff are wonderful and will do anything you ask of them straight away. However, the bathrooms need to be condemned. The force of the shower actually broke the shower screen. The bed was good, the pillows had the softness of bags of cement. The walls of the rooms had cracks showing how many pieces of plywood were used to line the room and the ceiling matched the walls crack for crack. Despite the aesthetics, the room was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay. It was a wonderful and enjoyable experience.

We really wanted to love this place. Came highly recommended from a family member who travels a lot. Unfortunately, seems they focus more on being an event venue vs giving guests appropriate treatment and hospitality. I gave them many chances to make it right with us and have not heard back from them, so we have to give a one star review. 1. Poor signal in general, internet vouchers provided don’t work, all our data was used up during our stay 2. Included breakfast was mediocre at best and you had to preorder from a menu that was half unavailable, and set up a time to be served downstairs in their restaurant which also had poor service 3. I paid for three guests and only received one extra bath towel, no hand or face towel. When I called to get some, they tried to charge me per piece, including the bath mat I asked to be replaced because the bidet had leaked on it and housekeeping didn’t replace it when they cleaned the bathroom. Upon check out, they sent someone to my room to count the towels to make sure I didn’t take any home with me. 4. The pizza place D’Ursi, didn’t have enough chairs for my party of 5 adults and 1 child, even though there was table space. We decided to get room service since apparently they couldn’t find chairs since they were being used by two simultaneous events that evening. We had a large order and they were missing a lot of stuff. We ordered a salad that was basically lettuce and sliced apples. Since I had to call so many times and was just so tired, and frankly embarrassed that I invited my friends over to complain right there and then, they didn’t provide any discount for the meals when I was trying to settle at check out. I understand that billing and posted things could be a challenge to reverse, but I gave them chances to give us a gift certificate for future use and the lady, Phoebe, I think at the front desk was very nice. But it didn’t seem management cared too much about their reputation to just make it up to us. Nice place but lack of hospitality and professionalism.

It was late in the night and was also raining hard so instead of driving back to Manila, we decided to stay at this hotel. As I work remotely, my first question is if the hotel has good internet connection and this hotel has one so we decided to stay. True enough, connection is good but apart from that, nothing else stands out from this hotel. Accommodation is very basic but we had to transfer rooms twice because the first one given to us has a non working AC. Room is spacious enough and the beds are comfortable. Parking area is very dark. Also, I find this hotel expensive.

Rooms = 5 Customer Service = 4.5 Cleanliness = 5 Food = 3 Facilities = 4.5 If you're looking for a place to relax and have a "ME TIME". This place is perfect for you. Check in = 3pm Check out = 11am Th rooms are small but decent and the beds are comfy. They have hot and cold shower. Tv with limited channels. Mini Fridge. Cabinets for your Clothes. You can bring food but you need to pay for corkage fees. This pandemic time, their kitchen is close but they are offering breakfast but limited choices only. It is far away from malls but there are nearby sari sari store that sell limited food. Swimming pool is also available and you need to book it in advance, since they are strictly practicing social distancing. They have 2 pools, one for adult and one for kids. They also allowed pets, but please bring cage. Wifi, on time of our visit wifi is dead 😑, so this is the time that we talk to each other and have a bond. Overall experience, was great and very relaxing 😀

The location is near Lipa City, the environment is good, similar to a manor house, no breakfast is provided, if you need breakfast, you need to pay about 400 pesos, there is parking. However, this hotel has an advantage that the Internet speed is extremely fast and surprisingly fast.

We LOVED our stay at Cintai! 1. FOOD - 8/10 - I read a lot of negative feedback about the food but I think they already made improvements! We had pad thai (husband's fave!), Batangas lomi (not particularly special BUT great nevertheless), tuna, and Cintai house salad (SUPER YUM!!!). SUMAN WITH TABLEA SAUCE IS DA BOMB 2. AMBIANCE - 20/10. That's it. You need a place to relax and get away from everything? Go here. 3. STAFF - 10/10. Hands down. They are VERY attentive and very friendly. 4. FACILITIES - 9/10 The massage was not spectacular and a bit too pricey for the quality. But everything else was perfect. There was also an open mic during our stay, unli videoke y'all! Had fun singing while drinking Blue Lagoon. It was far from the villas so no worries. 5. LOCATION - 10/10 - Very much accessible from Manila (1.5 hrs from Taguig) but when you get there, it feels so secluded. 6. VILLA - 10/10 - Very spacious, very beautiful and clean, no TV (yes!), all basic amenities provided. Villas are far from each other so privacy is 10/10! 2D1N is NOT enough. We will definitely be back and recommend the place to our friends and families. :)

The hotel is good, the price is not high, if you are free to travel, it is not recommended to live here, there is a parking lot. The buffet in the hotel is average, you know the wifi speed, a bit stuck, the hotel is a two-story room, I don't know where the router is installed, if the room is far away, there is no signal at all. Hotel services are still available, providing pick-up service, but the price, as you know, is at least five times more expensive than in China.

Out of the three properties we visited, this was my favorite. It is situated in the rolling landscape of Mataas na kahoy, Batangas. Eco Hotel Lake View Villas is the ideal destination for those who want to escape city life and be immersed in nature. Upon arriving, you are welcomed by luscious greens, great villas, an inviting swimming pool and the best of it all, a majestic view of the Taal volcano. We were told that this was once the vacation home of the Cruz Family. They have seven kids, so probably each villa belongs to one of each child and the other rooms for the master bedroom and guest bedroom or storage room. It’s just so wonderful to imagine how lucky these children are because they have great parents who have provided them with a great vacation home. Now, renovated and owned by Eco Hotel, guests can now enjoy the same relaxing experience and magnificent view. The beds were made from sustainably sourced materials all from sustainable farming. Even the floorings were recycled fardwood from old homes. The light bulbs are LED because they are more energy efficient. Enjoy rooms with a stunning Lake View while sipping your coffee from the coffee machine available in the rooms. They even preserved all the trees inside the property and have built around it as evidenced by this shower and bath with the tree inside. Villas by Eco Hotel offers a complete green experience to travelers and tourists. In the Balok-Balok Bar, they have a lovely space for dining, yoga, or meetings, also overlooking the lake, where one can witness one of the perfect sunsets after Manila Bay. The perfect romantic setting that will blow away anyone. The Balok-Balok Bar is equipped with a full kitchen and bar for their guests’ dining pleasure and enjoy mostly local dishes. You may customize your food, just ask from the staff. While we were there, we were served a boodle fight dish of rice, eggplant salad, grilled meats (pork belly, fish and chicken) and some vegetable dish served on top of a banana leaf. Relax and go for a dip in the pool and simply take in the stunning view. This place was also declared as a Bird Sanctuary so binoculars are provided in every room for the guest’s enjoyment. Fireflies may be visible at night too. Who wouldn’t fall in love with the stunning views, great amenities and peacful ambience? This place definitely is a perfect venue for those who just want a quick respite from all the hurlie-burlies of city life.
