This is the newest hotel in town, and I had the privilege to be its guest for one night. Everything inside smells new and everything inside feels like it was unpacked the day before. The view over Bucharest offered by the room on the 11th floor is priceless, especially by night. I was very impressed by the quality of the mattress and pillows, their coziness making me sleep like a baby. I cannot remember when I had last time such a restful sleep. The buffet breakfast offers plenty of choice, and for sure everyone can find something for his taste. The staff in the reception and the restaurant are very attentive and polite, ready always to help if needed. Many thanks to Miss Alexandra Anton, a very professional and kind representative of this fantastic hotel, who took care to make my stay at Courtyard by Marriott Bucharest Floreasca a memorable one.

I was visiting Bucharest on business during August, when it was very hot.The hotel was built about 20 years ago, but has recently been modernised: for the most part, they have done a good job, but there are a couple of places where they slightly "missed the mark" The room: A very good sized room, with suitable quality furniture. The bed was actually quite comfortable, but the pillows were rather soft and lacking - I prefer a firm pillow. Small desk with stocked minibar (not seen one of those for a while!!), plus a "comfy chair" and small table. Large modern TV (although I never turned it on!). There is a moderm coffee making machine, plus 2 coffee cups, 2 glasses, and 2 coffee capsules, plus 2 tea bags (not the normal black tea). As a coffee drinker, I was more than happy with this! What is lacking, and for a "modern" 4 start hotel, this is unforgivable, is the lack of usable power sockets. There is one socket adjacent to the bed, this is taken up by the charger base for the room's cordless telephone. Behind the desk (and I mean behind, on the floor, hidden by the curtains) was a 3-way power block, with 2 of the sockets used by the mini-bar and coffee machine, leaving one, hard-to access, power socket! As I said, this is really NOT good enough in a modern hotel. The room is air-conditioned, using a hotel-wide cooling setup. When it works, it works well. Unfortunately, on many occasions it was not working. The day I arrived it was not working, but luckily it was starting to cool outside, and I was able to open a window. Not a great night's sleep. On other days it worked fine, yet on others it would work for part of the evening, then stop working again. For a 4 star hotel that claims to have air-conditioning, then (in the hot summer) it MUST work. The hotel is on a busy main road, and in the evening, even with the windows closed, you'll hear the siren if one or two ambulances or whatever as they come past. Other than that, it was quiet. Obviously, with windows open, you would expect some traffic noise. Bathroom: The bathroom was spacious, with a clean shower (well, except for the water-sealing strip on the bottom of the door.... filthy!). The fittings were nice, but the sink was strangely not very deep. With no plug, it was possible to wash your fingers, but it was not possible to put your actual hands under the tap! Who selected such a sink? Towels were of reasaonable size and quality. A reasonable wardrobe, with shelves at bottom for your clothes. They provide a dressing gown and a couple of pairs of slippers. The wardrobe contains a small safe: large enough for a table, but not for a PC. Public areas: The public areas of the hotel were quite pleasant, and generally kept cool. A small bar area, but seats in the lobby and outside. The restaurant was relatively small, but was never busy. Restaurant & Breakfast: Breakfast was a good mix of hot and cold foods. Whilst I served myself, I believe they woul

I've been intensively travelling for the past 20 years, staying in hundreds hotels, I must say that what I found at Ibis Erbas Bucharest is quite rare. It's rated 3 stars, but it's much better than many 4 stars I've been. Rooms and the hotel in general is spotless, hotel's staff is always ready and willing to make your stay comfortable, you'll always receive a sincere smile from anybody here. Beds are really comfortable as well as rooms. What can I say more, if an additional 🌟 means simply having a shower cup, well, I'll definitely will not change the Ibis Erbas with any of the 4 stars hotels in town. Thank you to all the hotel staff, I felt like being at home ...and... you finally made it, never considered before to use TripAdvisor, but you deserve it.

It looks from the outside a lovely place, the reception guy is very nice. The problems started when we wanted to go to bed - I looked for an extra pillow at the closet But the closet door was broken and couldn't be opened. OK I'll call the reception and ask For a pillow. Found the phone but no dial tone, after checking I found the cable unplugged and no Place at the wall to plug it in, so I dressed back and went down to the reception to hear that they have no extra pillows but I can (at about 22:00) change the room. It's a hotel (almost empty) without pillows!!! I will never come back hear!!!

Very pleased with the service at this hotel. Rooms are impecably clean, the staff is friendly and do their best to be helpful to the guests, in any way possible; staying here again and again is an obvious choice. A special thank you to the staff at the two restaurants at the hotel, I would come back any time just to enjoy their fine meals, not only when I travel for business. I ate a very good breakfast, i ordered the omelette exactly the way I like it. Big thank you to Mr. Ghita Petre, the friendly face at the restaurant, he and his staff are very courteous, always ready to help. One last mention, coffee is not the washed-up type you usually find at breakfast at most hotels, I had a proper espresso (ok, two) fully worthy of the name. I had my batteries fully charged, ready to take on the challenges of the day!

I stayed at this hotel 3 times thus far and it is the only hotel I will stay at in Bucharest with my family of 5. I stayed once in a standard double room which was clean and beautifully decorated. The other two times I stayed at the penthouse apartment on the top floor. It is the only room on the floor, meaning that the elevator takes you straight into the entrance of the apartment, just like a private VIP entrance. This is easily the most beautiful hotel room in Bucharest that I have seen. The view of the park and the ferris wheel is incredible, both in the morning and at night. The 2 bedrooms are wonderful. Between my first and second stay, improvements had already been made (TV and other lighting fixtures added). The living room area is gorgeous and spacious with a large smart TV, fireplace, additional guest bathroom and a mini kitchen with the basics you could need. The breakfast was good and the area has a beautiful view of the street and the park. The parking is spacious and safe. The hotel is also around 15 minutes away from the airport, which is perfect. The owners of the hotel are so wonderful and welcoming, ready to fulfill your every need. Overall, this is in my top 3 favorite hotels in Bucharest. I will be staying here again and again.

The hotel is situated in a quiet place. It has a parking place(payed), a sauna and a gym. The rooms are clean and ok in size, they have a tv, an wardrobe with an ironing table, seif and all the things you find in an hotel. Cons: •I don’t recommend to stay in rooms 215, 315... because you don’t have a view, in front of the window is a wall and a chimney which makes noise all night and you can barely sleep. I’ve requested to change the room but it wasn’t possible. •Another downside is the breakfast, which is almost the same everyday and if you stay for more than 3-4 days you get tired and full of eating the same thing every day. Another thing is that on my first day I have found a piece of hair in my scrambled eggs. They’ve changed the whole lot of scrambled eggs, but still... •They have a bar in the lobby but I would avoid it because is very extensive from my point if view, 3.5 euros for a 400ml pint of beer and 5 euros for a Glass of Poor wine.

We had a reservation for a standard room, on the first floor in this hotel for which we paid 75 euro. It seems that at this 4 stars hotel the standard room means an non improved room. The room was in a very poor state: on the wall and curtains we found 7 bugs (Cimex lectularius), the kettle had mold inside, the air condition also had mold, the sink had rust stains, the carpet was stained and the bed upholstery was broken. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, we found many small pieces of hair in the bathroom. The windows had no nets and after we manage to get rid of the bugs we were afraid to open the window because other bugs might get in and also we couldn't start the air condition because it was full of mold. We called the housekeeper who sprayed the room with insecticide but it did not work, the bugs were still alive. So stay away from standard, non improved rooms.

This property is quite new. Even heavy work construction is ongoing outside. Maybe not fully equipped but minimum to be accomodated is done. Car is required in order to distance. Consider traffic jams for your movement.

I hate to write bad reviews. It’s not fair to the hard working staff. However - This time I HAVE to make an exception. I’m habe booked a stay in The Radisson Blu in Bukarest - Junior Suite. Nice staff, however- terrible place. We are living on a construction site. (they should have told us) It is terribly loud as they are working on the ground floor. The room was not clean (Cornflakes under the bed) Furniture was broken Hair and dirt in the bathrooms No stationary Old coffee machine Fitness Center is being used by public as well - 5 star hotel ? Carpets are old and used All in all I deeply REGRET the stay

The best of the six hotels I stayed in this trip, the red room of the key room, feels like a honeymoon. Ok, just take this as our honeymoon. Because our plane arrived in the early hours of the morning, we checked in at 5 o'clock, but we didn't book the room in the previous night. If checkin is added to the night before 12 o'clock, it will still be a little uncomfortable, but the hotel is also reasonable. I think about the price, after all, it is too tired, they are right. Hotel breakfast is of course very rich, the key is honey, the original way to eat, I also see for the first time, no slippers, so be sure to bring slippers. Great for business, parent-child travel!

Location is perfect, you can find tons of restaurants, touristic places just a few hundred meters away.... The room are very clean, nothing to complain about. Rooms can be somewhat loud, but just ask for a more quit one and it should be perfect. Crew is clearly on point, always helpful (even when they don't have to) and will always try to advise as best as they can for places to see. Even with the current Covid situation, the breakfast can be served on the terasse and is really good. I came in Bucarest for work, the whole Hilton team made the trip much more pleasant. I will come again for sure

We stayed her for a long weekend in February. We had booked a deluxe double room which included a complimentary mini bar. When we arrived at the hotel we received a very warm welcome from the reception staff and were told that we were also to receive a complimentary breakfast in the buffet restaurant. This was great as it set us up nicely for the day. Lots of choice and of good quality. Sparkling wine was available each morning too. We had a city view room on level 8. The style of the room is classic Intercontinental. It was extremely comfortable and had a balcony. We were lucky enough to have fantastic weather so often had the balcony door open. The amenities were great. High quality toiletries, nespresso coffee machine, robes, slippers and the mini bar. The mini bar which consisted of wine, beer, spirits, mixers, soft dinks, water and snacks was replenished each day. We chose the hotel as we are IHG members and the location. 40 mins in a cab from the airport (although we got the bus back no 783, went from the stop just south of the hotel) 10 min walk to the Old Town, 30 min walk to Palace of the Parliament. Spa/ pool is good too. IHG members get a complimentary welcome drink at the bar too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinental Bucharest. Highly recommended.

This was my fourth or fifth visit to the Athenee Palace Hilton in Bucharest, but it was my first time not on business and the first time with my wife. I believe it predates its association with Hilton. What you get is a classic hotel in the center of what makes Bucharest special with the advantages of the Hilton Brand. It has been my experience that European Hiltons are more luxurious than those in the US. This hotel is certainly no exception. We only experienced breakfast in the restaurant, but it was totally first class, from service to the freshness and variety of items, all combining to provide a pampered experience. The same could be said for the Executive Lounge. Not large, but nicely laid out, well attended and with impressive spreads of food, both during evening snacks and during breakfast. Like breakfast in the dining room, the service was truly first class. Our room was nice, with a comfortable bed, well resupplied amenities and plenty of hangers and hanging space. We only visited the spa and fitness area, but they were well laid out and well staffed. The pool wasn't huge, but it was larger than many, not as long as I would have preferred for swimming laps, but long enough. Reception and concierge were top class and quite helpful, and the hotel lobby and space between the lobby and restaurant are what you would want if you were entertaining important guests. The same could be said for the bar area (I think called the London Pub). If I were entertaining business guests, I would be very pleased to do it here. Finally, the location is perfect - across the street from Revolution Square and national art museum and a short walk to old town. If I return to Bucharest, I will, with a doubt, return to the Athenee Palace.

At £66 per night inc. breakfast this was very good value money. A large hotel right next door to the much more expensive Radisson . I was in the Red Zone ( it is a big hotel to have coloured zones) and had a large room, huge bed, overall modern and comfortable but a step down from the Radisson type hotel room. Looking onto an internal courtyard made this a very quiet room. So make sure you ask for internal facing. Windows opened in the room also which was good for fresh air as the rooms were hot. Breakfast was okay - nothing too special. Uber works well in the city too and is about 35 RON to the airport (£6/$8). A good value base for Bucharest.
