There is no card on Via Fiorentina that indicates the entrance of the building, and this is the first problem. To find the entrance we had to make a call and make ourselves explain where the carriage was. Once we passed the two reference columns, we went on to what was defined by a strip that was poorly linked to a metal network swept by iron sticks, ”Parking guests of Villa Patrizia”. Then, after a pedestrian road, we were looking forward to a vetuous and sophisticating structure, and my wife and I looked at each other in the unbelievers of the situation in which we were hoping that the reception structure was not that, but we were wrong. We went down toward an open door, on the left of the pseudo-parking, looking for someone to give us a reason. In a ”satisfaction” we found a girl who, after asked us for the documents, checked in We went about 70 metres in a trailer and climbed three quite tight stairs. I confess that when I arrived in our room, I had the The room was well-looking, with the walls of cartridge, even with window views on a shop, a chemical toilet and a lot of herbs. The toilet table had a broken fixing pin and then it caused problems. As a title, holiday in Siena and the surroundings are absolutely relaxed thanks to this hotel. The room is not very spacious but clean and quiet, with a large and more than comfortable bed with various very comfortable cousins; a medium bathroom for the healthcare space. The whole structure is clean and pleasant. The hall is large. - Breakfast is one of the MUSTs of this structure with a wide selection of pity between sweet and salt all fresh and expressed. - The staff is always kind and available. - Free public parking at 30 metres. - Excellent price quality ratio. -Historical center 5 minutes by car -Stop bus next to -Position: Hotel Vico Alto is perfect for the discovery of both Siena and neighbouring cities such as Monteriggioni, San Gimignano to the north and the whole south area as a mountain or mountain pitch Montepulciano. The hotel is also close to both the train station and the hospital. Things to improve: - Since the whole hotel is declared ”Smoking Free” would be advisable, in the outer areas DETERMINATE a smoker area, possibly a little far from the entrance and the passing area . . - In our room, although the LCD TV was very large and correctly positioned, it was almost useless, given the very limited selection of channels (only digital terrestrial). It would be advisable for satellite TV and on demand (also as optional for payment). -In some times of the day, due to the ongoing restructuring there was a way of working people (it would be good to delimit their time).

Great farm hotel! The farmhouse is located on a hill with a superb view and overlooking Siena. It was raining all the way to Florence, and it was raining in the farm. The sky in Siena was beautiful! The owner is a 70-year-old woman, very kind and very serious, and carefully introduced the nearby attractions worth visiting. Because of three people, we booked an apartment with a separate living room dining room. The sofa in the living room is a sofa bed that can be unfolded. The sheets and towels are very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the tea bags and snacks are delicious! When I got up in the morning, I found out that the original farmhouse had its own laundry room and it was fully equipped. There is a big supermarket opposite Siena’s out-of-town station. You can go back and buy the breakfast materials yourself. Sitting in the morning and looking out at the beautiful view of Tuscany for breakfast, enjoy it too!

My husband enjoyed our short stay at the beautiful Borgo San Luigi while on our tour of Italy and found their hospitality to be the upmost professionalism we’ve experienced in our travels. First off, My husband and I are major food eaters, My Husband is Gluten free and this hotel has many many options of foods to accommodate to him in every way shape and form from snacks to delicious gluten free dinners. We spent a full day at the resort as well as a full day touring around on a vespa they found for us to rent (had it delivered to the hotel for us!). We can confidently say the food at the resort was by far the best. The beautiful architecture of the hotel and landscape was so well kept we could not stop staring at it as well. One of the waiters, I believe named Fransisco, was able to accommodate a lunch for my husband that he could not stop talking about how delicious it was. He was craving something not on the menu and Francisco made it happen. Every need of ours was fulfilled by the employees, even a drive to the train station on our departure, so kind! We could not have asked for a better stay. 10/10 & 5 stars and we recommend this hotel to everyone that is thinking about staying around this area. Thank you Borgo San Luigi for the wonderful memories and experience! Be back one day !
