Amazing little hotel. The staff, very professional. The room, fantastic for the size. They offer free soft serve ice cream and drinks ..... how cool is that!! Would definitely come back. We stayed at Dormy Inn express for 4 days during the last week of December. We booked one family room for 5 people (3 kids) and it suited us perfectly. The rooms are designed like a small suit with a small entrance foyer, washer/dryer and Japanese style toilet and bath. The hotel is centrally located and a few blocks from the Metro. Don’t forget to take a walk along the river/canal, it’s absolutely lovely with boutiques and cafes lined along the river. We also managed to walk to Shibuya which takes about 45minutes. Although it’s just 2 stops on the metro. Many restaurants in the area and cheaper than eating in Shibuya for sure. The rooms were clean (except our room has a small hole on the wall like someone had punched it in which did not disturb us but it would be good if management fixed it) and the breakfast simple but perfectly fine for our family.FromUS$49.00

I went to the Tokyo exam. I lived in a single room on the first day. I didn’t sleep well one night. I went to the hotel on the third day the next day. The health was very good, the service was very intimate, the room was very new and clean, I I don't want to leave, and it is worth mentioning that it is very human, and there are hot springs on the second floor! All the shampoo and hair care brands are branded, the hair dryers are very tall, in short, I have lived in the best single hotel so far, so I fell in love with the capsule hotel, the hotel location is also very good, walking from the business district In 8 minutes, the guests were very conscious at night, very quiet, no very noisy situation, entrepreneurial is very comfortable, sleep until dawn, if there is a chance, will definitely go again! Stayed here with my 17 year old son during Spring Break. Hotel located about a 10 minute walk uphill from Shibuya Station, in a quiet residential neighborhood. Nice sized room with a King sized bed, kitchenette with washer and dryer and a dining area/desk area. Our bathroom was large and separated as two rooms - toilet and sink in first room, shower and tub in the second room. It came in handy when two people are trying to get ready at the same time. Breakfast buffet downstairs is 1000 yen and has a variety of food. Sure you can probably get better value for yen elsewhere, but the convenience of not having to leave the hotel made it worthwhile. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful...we would gladly stay here again.FromUS$66.00

I stayed here for a few nights over Christmas and again in the early part in January. The hotel is located around 3 minute walk to the tube station. Shibuya is 5 minutes away on the tube or 10 minutes on the local bus. I flew into Haneda Aiport and the hotel was 1 hour away on public transport. It cost around 870 yen from the aiport to Sangen -jaya tube station. ( Haneda Aiport to Shingawa, then change at Shingawa to Shibuya and then take the Tokyu Den-entoshi line from Shibuya to Sangen-jaya,take the North Exit A out of the tube station, be aware there a quite a few stairs at the tube station, if you have large luggage, when you exit the tube barriers in the tube station , just walk straight ahead keep to the right and you will find a lift to take you to street level. When you exit the lift turn, walk straight ahead, walk past Mcdonalds and you will see a large shoe shop on the corner of the street crossing, turn left and this is the road of the hotel, you will walk pass KFC, cross over the road and the hotel is a few minutes walk.) The local area is fantastic. There is a large supermarket across the road from the hotel and there are lovely local restaurants/bakery, market, antique shops ,art gallery, clothes shops etc closeby. If you desire western fast food there are KFC and McDonalds a few minutes away. The hotel room was small but adequate for me as a solo traveller. The only negative about my stay, was on arrival the sheets to my bed had blood stains, I reported the matter to reception and they apologised and the bed was changed, however I did notice the mattress protector was stained also and asked for this to be changed. After that I had no further issues with bedding. Despite this I would stay here again, as it is good value for money, the area and the local restaurants are fantastic and you can access the rest of the City quite easily.FromUS$62.00

Very convenient, central location. Stylish and tasteful. There is a high-end department store across the street and plenty of good nearby shopping. Some of the reviewers noted that the neighborhood was a red light district at night, but that's a bit misleading. During the day, it is a perfectly normal Shibuya neighborhood. However, there is a proliferation of "love hotels" a few blocks away that led to numerous people on the streets in the area soliciting girls for hookups once nighttime rolled around. The 'love hotel" area also has a lot of normal bars and restaurants, though, and seems to be a nightlife-driven part of town, so I didn't find any of the solicitations to be bothersome. I had no noise issues with the area at all. The hotel itself is clean and nice. The double rooms were very large and spacious, and absolutely huge by Tokyo standards. This was a welcome relief from the shoebox-sized rooms during the rest of my stay in Japan. Would come back here.FromUS$64.00

Check in was a breeze, efficient and high tech. Godzilla head is an interesting feature of the hotel (esp. for fans), and location is great, right in the middle of the happening area.
room size is good, can even be bigger if the toilet is joined with the bathing area. can bring the 2 single beds together to form a large bed.

Suidobashi/Tokyo Dome
Their service is nothing short of excellent. They have staff who are fluent in English (and other languages as well, I suspect). Me and my friend came thinking that we would be staying in a Single Room with Extra Bed since that was what we booked as we attempted to be more economic. However, to our pleasant surprise, our room was upgraded to a much much bigger room for free. We are very thankful to the helpful staff for making our stay pleasant and extremely comfortable. The location is great as it in located somewhere in between Iidabashi and Suidobashi which is pretty much close to the geographical center of Tokyo. Head east you will be able to visit Akihabara and Asakusa quick. Head west, you will be able to hit Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet and the Tokyo Dome is just a 10-15 minute stroll away. If I am coming back to visit Japan, this hotel will be a clear top choice for me. Haven't had the opportunity to have the breakfast at this hotel, but I will certainly try it out on my next stay here.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From it's central location (right across the street from the Shinagawa train station) and close proximity to many restaurants and shops, this will be our go-to hotel in Tokyo. Perfect for first time visitors and frequent visitors to Tokyo because of its location, amenities, and service.
Close to public transit was a must when evaluating a hotel to stay anywhere, especially Tokyo because I didn't want to carry/drag luggage far. This hotel meets that as the hotel is located directly across the street from the Shinagawa train station. Also, the airport limousine bus stops at the Shinagawa prince hotel. Location to transit made this one of the top reasons why we loved this hotel.
There are a few towers on property so the room you book determines which tower lobby you check-in too. There are plenty of signs in english to direct you to the appropriate check-in lobby and the staff are more than willing to help as well. Checking in was smooth and quick as our room was ready (we checked in around 7pm), clean, and spacious. Like I mentioned, there are lots of room types available you just have to find one that works for you. In this instance, a corner room King offered plenty of room and a rather large bathroom for Japanese standards. We actually ended up with a killer view of the Shinagawa train station. Spacious and clean rooms was another reason why we loved this hotel.
In addition to the hotel being close in proximity to a central train station (both JR and local routes here), there are numerous shops and restaurants within the hotel property, adjoining the hotel property, and within walking distance to the hotel. A 7-Eleven, McDonalds, and food court are a few of the options on property with endless options for eating and shopping within walking distance to the property. Close proximity to restaurants and shops is also one of the top reasons why we loved this hotel.
Above all else, what makes this property stand out is the level of service from staff and the cleanliness of the entire property, inside and out. Ever single staff member we interacted with was kind, helpful, and respectful. Everything from the lobby, guest rooms, hallways and public areas were clean, really clean, something we loved.
Again, I cannot recommend the Shinagawa Prince Hotel enough and we can't wait to come back.

Good location. Close to Shinjuku station and Toyota Car Rental. Can take the Airport Limousine Bus to and from Narita or Haneda Airport around the corner at the Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku Hotel. A few nice diners and chemists in proximity. Very popular place and a little bit worn out. Small rooms small beds. The twin bed rooms have only twin single 3-1/2 feet bed. Its not even semi-double. Can't share bed with a young children at all.

Odaiba
If you loves omakase breakfast at Toyosu market, shopping at Venus Fort, Diver City, Aqua City, visiting the TeamLab Borderless and TeamLab Planets, and hot-spring at Ooedo Onsen, that's the perfect location. Even gives you quick access to Disney resort and Haneda Airport! Small rooms as usual but the one with twin double beds is excellent for parents with two young children. The only downside is no car-rental nearby.
