We really enjoyed our stay here. We arrived late at night so used the computerised booking service to gain our key card for our apartment. Our daughter boyfriend and baby also stayed here but in a different apartment a couple of floors above us. We all loved our rooms clean and modern. The only fault we had was the remote for the tv didnt work but was rectified by reception in the morning. The restaurant was beautiful staff friendly and polite. Food tasty really good standard. Comfortable relaxing atmosphere we were impressed that we were able to watch the chefs preparing our food. We used the no 1 tram to go to the christmas markets it's a little walk around the corner but we didnt mind that. The roads are very busy around Phil's apartments and vienna is a big place so I think we would get lost if we hired a car here. Taxis we used were very punctual and organised. It cost us €45 from the airport and back bit more than stated but was a good service. The rooms are very sound proof cant hear the traffic when windows are closed. The only thing I thought the room could have done with is a tea towel and instructions on how to use the coffee machine. I didnt realise there was a dishwasher machine until the morning we left. We only had a short stay maybe reception could sell single dishwasher tablets for people on short stays. All in all we loved Phil's apartments and plan to return next year.

The main reason for selecting this property was because of the location close to the railway station (Meidling) where I was planning to get the train to Graz (early departure and late return) without having to wait for additional transportation to/fro the station. From the airport, the journey was also quite efficient. Furthermore with the current situation, the price for this property (since I was going for Hilton properties) was very reasonable for a quick two separate one-night stay. Location This property is situation around some housing area (mainly high rise flats/appartments) and office buildings. There was a small mall located about 2 mins walk from the hotel and some shops and cafe/restaurant within 5-min walking distance. It looks to be a safe area from my observation even during the much quieter weekend when the offices are closed. As for transportation option, besides the S-bahn (about 1.5 km, 20-30 mins walk) which does bring you to some of the (train) stations aorund Vienna and larger cities around Austria. Would not recommend this option if you have large/bulky luggage. Other options would be with the bus (which does go close to the Museum Quartier) and a tram stop about 15-20 mins walk away. For me this point was the weakest point of the property especially if the plan is to use the hotel as tourist base (not in my case) since it does take some time to get to/fro from the main attractions. If you have a car, the location of this property should not be an issue. Check In I arrived quite late, close to 11pm at the property and was helped immediately by the on-duty Front Desk manager. It was a very friendly welcome and explanation of the facilities based on current "new-norm". I had selected my room using the Hilton app - I did see what looked like larger rooms, but since it was just a one night stay, I did not bother asking about upgrade. I was away to my room within 5 mins of arrival. Room I selected the room which was at the angle of the building, so the room was not the usual 4 squared walled room. My first impression was good - a very spacious room and well appointed layout - typical HGI. On my 2nd stay, I selected the room next to the former one - just to see if there was any big different in views based on the angle of the building. (my preference was for 435) There was coffee/tea making facilities available - with disposable cups (not sure if this is the norm or because of current situation). The TV was on the smaller side - with the usual range of international channel selections. Wifi was complimentary (to all) - for my needs the speed and connection was sufficient. The bed was large and comfortable providing a good night sleep. Climate control was ok - it did manage to keep the room temperature as I wanted (it did go down to 17 deg C - for those needing a cooler room). Only small complain was the fan noise, at the highest fan speed, it was quite audible, but one speed lower,

We booked a five night stay at the hotel for extended valentines weekend with a view to doing some tourist things around Vienna during each day. Location of hotel is not close to any of the “touristy” sites in Vienna and requires use if taxi/buses/trams/trains to reach. The distance to centre was a miscalculation on our part when booking as it is clearly shown on map! That being said the public transport in vienna is excellent and easy to use, with stops directly outside hotel. The hotel itself is very new and looks very modern. On checking in the staff were very pleasant and explained hotel to us and gave us a tourist map of Vienna. The rooms are nicely finished but small touches like bottled water, minibar/fridge and safe are missing from a hotel of this standard. Being a high rise building the rooms have only air conditioners, that dont really do much, so at night room was very stuffy. Housekeeping needs some attention in my opinion. The sheets on bed were not changed once during our five night stay. Towels were changed intermittently, one day not, next half changed another all changed etc?!? The kettle under the TV we wrote our name in the dust on second remained there till we left. On first night we took an ice bucket and wine to our room....we had to leave these in the hall outside our room on morning three once it became apparent housekeeping were not doing anything other than remaking bed, emptying paper bin and sometimes attending to towels! On Valentines evening we decided to eat in hotel restaurant.......nice setting and lovely view across Vienna from 22nd floor......the waiting staff were very polite, although completely understaffed/disorganised. On entering restaurant I was told needed reservation (Inspoke face to face to same waiter 30 mins earlier to reserve😏)....we were then seated and given one menu, despite being told there were two to choose from when booking.......40 mins later I gave up and called a waiter to take a drinks and food order...... the starter of beef tartare was very good, my OH wanted a plain salad....she was presented a bowl with three a pile of diced iceberg lettuce, a spoonful of pickled cabbage and some, what we believe was, tzatziki.......not really the standard expected. For main I opted for Octopus, which was very good. OH had veal again very good. We ordered a cheeseboard and dessert to share. Both were brought simultaneously. When the cheeseboard was brought there were no crackers/biscuits or bread. I requested these from waiter who told me that he would have to ask....he reappeared 5 mins later to say that that biscuits would take 10-15 mins....after 20 i got up and took bread myself from waiters station....he then appeared a further five mins later to say he had no biscuits and placed two slices of white bread on my which point my OH AND the table next to us could not help themselves but to laugh out loud! For over €140 for the two of us I would expect the servi

It was Ok But the carpets and the beds were quite dirty. Also,on the booking the apartament is showed up as an full-utility kitchen, but in reality it only has the oven and a microwave-no dishes or soap or even storage space. The bathrooms were pretty clean but not very organised. One of the rooms, the one that I stood in had an nachos smell and the walls had oil spots on them. At least I want to say that the images on the booking or tripadvisor are 10 years old maybe so the room doesn’t look the same.

My partner and I booked this hotel as we were attending a conference in Vienna. We did book fairly last minute and the price was very good. The hotel is located in a quiet suburb and it is fairly quick (10m walk and 20m S Bahn) into the centre. Unfortunately that's about it. As other reviews have pointed out the hotel is a bit run-down (carpets, fittings etc) but I think the poor service is much more of an issue. On the first night I was arriving late and my partner asked about food at the bar, the barman said to let his colleague know and he would be able to help order a pizza. His colleague however grunted that it was "not his problem" and after some remonstration bregrudgingly provided us with a pizza menu. Our bedsheets had a large tea/coffee stain (I hope) on them but exhausted as we were we went to sleep. The following morning I showed a photograph to the woman on the front desk who was similarly unmoved and wrote some details on a scrap of paper. I asked whether we could borrow an iron and was told it was as a 10 euro deposit, she returned and I asked whether there was an ironing board as well. "10 Euros" was the reply and she gave the impression my request was very unreasonable. On our return to the room that night it had not been made up at all. I complained to the front desk- the same man from the first night insisted it was my fault. I restated that I had complained about the state of the room that morning, "I will bring up new towels and sheets, but no housekeeping". I asked whether we would have to change our own sheets, "Yes". His colleague who brought them up was at least apologetic so we made our own beds. At check-out I complained again to a different receptionist, she seemed equally unmoved and said she would bring it up with the head of housekeeping. I don't think housekeeping is the issue, I think management and customer service is the issue.

kindness of staff its 5* we love being in this apartment, because it has the essentials and according to the prices in Vienna it was not expensive. we checked out at 10 am but we had nowhere to leave our bags, so the staff was very helpful and left our things until the end of the day - free of charge, in addition they were always very helpful in answering our questions by whatsapp.

The hotel is conveniently located between the train stations between MID and HBF. There are several routes to choose from in 5 minutes walk. You can buy Vienna traffic tickets for a very high price! The hotel can store luggage, has a refrigerator, a blower, the room is more spacious, the bed is very soft, there is air conditioning and heating. There are also many restaurants nearby. It is convenient to go to attractions. The shoe-shoe machine on the first floor of the lobby is good.

Very good value for money. Ctrip's standard triple room (private guest only), the actual room is a large bed, a small bed, a number of sofas, so it is suitable for family travel. The room is large and the hotel is generally clean. The breakfast was small and beautiful, and it tasted good. It was a surprise. There is no air conditioning and a floor fan is available. The floor is very old. The front desk service is friendly and can store luggage. Although it is not a friendly walking distance from the inner city, the public transportation at the entrance of the hotel is very convenient. There is only one stop on the railway station (S line) from the central railway station, which is suitable for going back and forth between Budapest and Prague.

The room size is small but very design, although the shower room is next to the big bed, but there is no sense of dampness. In the morning, the ground is basically dry. There is almost no noise in the hallway or out of the window, and the sound insulation is excellent. The horse-drawn specimen in the lobby is particularly eye-catching. The location of the hotel is very good. It takes 10 minutes to get to the most prosperous commercial street in Vienna, Graben Street, where luxury brands are available. Right 5 minutes to the Austrian supermarket chain Billa, less than 10 minutes to Karl. Square, U1/2/4 three subway lines can be transferred, very convenient. In fact, apart from Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna is slightly remote. Others such as the National Grand Theatre, the Golden Hall, Stephen's Cathedral, the Hofburg Palace and the Net Red Sacher Coffee Shop are all within two kilometers of walking units. In short, Ferdinand is very recommendable, good value for money. At check-in, you will be charged a pre-authorization deposit of EUR 100. The city tax will be charged upon check-out. We stayed for 5 nights and received 19.8 euros.

Good hotel in common. Good breakfast, nice responsive staff, though a little unskillful (can't print a document out so that the image takes the whole list, not just a tiny space in the corner which is impossible to see and read), sauna, great design. The only issue is windows, which lack quality. They let cold and noise, cigarette smell go through into rooms from outside. However in common we're happy with the stay.

After read a number of reviews, I really didn't know how I'd feel staying here. So what's good first; Staff were very friendly and helpful. As I entered the hotel, it was grand, nice enough with a grand piano there to add to the sophistication. The restaurant was nice, and lunch we had there was good. But Breakfast. Fantastic. Definitely 5 stars. Not an full Irish breakfast, but tis Europe after all and was a very nice buffet set up. Location is good, with the cities connections well flagged by other reviews. Right, the OK. Not bad. Just OK. We stayed on the 5th floor. And a review had refered to it already, but a slap of paint would not go astray, hall way and bedroom in total could do with an up-grade. Really not a 4 star hotel room. It wouldn't take much, but it would be grand for a group of lads on a stag, but definitely not for a romantic get away. That said. Bed was comfortable enough. TV, had 20 odd channels, only 3 news channels in English. No Kettle????? Why???? Anyway, ok price. Ok hotel. Good food. Good location. Would go elsewhere if/when I return to this beautiful city.

The room is really great, the view is great, the breakfast is also great, the view on the top floor is invincible, I also watched a sunrise, and I drank a glass of wine at night. There is a subway station opposite, one stop to Stephen's Cathedral, but two people should take a taxi, cheap and good cars. Rating 4.5, the pre-authorization deposit has not been released for half a month.

My husband son and I stayed at this hotel when first arriving into Vienna. The hotel itself is beautiful, lovely service and room was fantastic. We had a deluxe double room which was spacious and also came with tea coffee making. We had an extra bed for our son. Room was a big size for the three of us. Bathroom was really nice too all the amenities you need. We did not get breakfast while staying here it was expensive - instead choosing to have breakfast at cafe central which is a minute walk from hotel and reasonably priced ( cheaper than the hotel buffet breakfast at hotel ). We are generally not buffet style eaters preferring cereal or toast, eggs and coffee or juice so cafe central was perfect for us and an easy one min walk in the morning (not crowded at all on opening!). We also walked to another cafe one day which was great as well for a coffee and bread roll & egg/museli etc for 1/4 price. Hotel is in a great location in Vienna, the street was all lit up for Christmas too and Xmas markets within walking distance in all directions only a few minutes walk some smaller markets. The big Christmas market at the Rathaus was about a 10 min walk (a must with kids/teens) There is a great Italian restaurant a minute walk from hotel with some great dinner options as well. Cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance. Walk to St Stephens cathedral was maybe 5-10 mins. Also walking distance Hofburg palace was 2 mins from hotel. Overall great location lovely hotel. A star off for no heated pool though otherwise amazing hotel good location and would definitely stay again when in Vienna.

This hotel is pretty and the room is laid out well. But there were some maintenance issues that never got fixed. First, my safe in room 729. I couldn’t get reception to answer, (irritating) so I went there. The woman at reception said that someone could come assist, but maintenance wouldn’t be in until the next morning. She said that Vienna was a very safe city and there was no need for worry because there was never any crime of any kind. Also, they had a way of knowing who would go in the room. Inwardly, I rolled my eyes. If they know who goes in the room, if something was stolen, it’s my word against that person’s that this item was even in there. Besides that, the item would still be gone. Then when my boyfriend and I were arranging for a taxi, the bellhop informed us that taxi drivers in Vienna are notorious for ripping off tourists. No crime of any kind, ehh? I couldn’t get the faucets (in either sinks) to stop up and I needed to hand wash some items and soak something. Someone came up to show me, but he said after looking they weren’t designed to close. The next morning, after we returned from breakfast, the lock that you use to bolt the door had fallen and was preventing the door from being opened all the way. We asked housekeeping to help, but she couldn’t and called for someone to come up. Thirty mins later, no one had come, so back I went to the lobby and got the bellhop to call. He said there was no request in, so housekeeping hadn’t called. About five mins later, mtc came and unscrewed the bolt, allowing us to enter. While he was there, he tried to fix the safe, but even fresh batteries didn’t fix it. No one ever came to fix it. While the hotel is beautiful, there’s nowhere nearby to eat, no shopping, etc. (except a Starbucks and one bakery). The breakfast buffet is pretty weak for 25euros. We ordered off the menu and it took about 25 mins to get items that weren’t even cooked (cheese, ham, etc). (Meaning there would be no reason for the long delay.) My espresso was cold when I got it. I really want to end this on a good note, so let me say that the staff was really nice and the room was spotless. It was also quiet.
