|0.42km from city centerAlbany has a great deal to offer the traveller and we enjoyed our stay at the Hanover Bay Apartments. We had some trouble getting hold of the key box code but this was not the fault of the host, who had been trying her best to contact us. We stayed in the York apartment which has large windows overlooking the bay and the replica sailing ship, Amity. The apartment consists of the kitchen/living in front and the bedroom/bathroom behind. DVDs and books are available and it was a nice surprise to have chocolate! For me, the bedroom was quite dark as there is very little natural light and the view is of the open plan bathroom, but this is just my feeling. We thought we saw a rat in the garden but Jeanette explained that it was actually a Kwenda or small bandicoot, so it was lovely to see some of the local wildlife.

|1.64km from city centerOther reviews made me feel doubtful about staying here, but it turned out that my stay was much better than I expected. The motel may be old and dated, BUT it's absolutely comfortable and clean. Great value for money, so glad to score the very last room and escaped the xmas heat from Perth. Loved the shower with plenty of hot water and strong pressure, I slept very well on the bed, staff were great, the location was great...albeit it's right by the side of busy albany hwy, but thankfully it's gone quiet by 10pm and you're usually out and about daytime. The pool seemed popular with families and it looked clean and well maintained. There's no kitchen, but the facilities provided were more than enough for heating up food (microwave, cutleries, dishwashing liquid and sponge and towels). They also provided room service if you wish to have it. What I didn't like?? - My room was upstairs LOL I didn't know of this. Good thing I didn't bring much stuff. So bear in mind of this when you make the booking - The whole place was generally quiet, but 2 mornings in a row, I heard this VERY LOUD bang...as if someone just slammed something shut angrily, more likely a door. 1st morning it happened twice, 2nd morning it happened once. Not sure if it's the cleaner or one of the neighbouring guests. Very annoying and inconsiderate! Good thing it didn't happen at night time. - The cleaner almost walked in on me while I was still dressing. She knocked and I answered, but she must have not heard me and just open the door...resulting me to shout 'NO NO WAIT!!!!' Phew that's close! I did try to look for the 'Do No Disturb' sign later to hang on the front door, but couldn't find it. Not saying this is ok, but given all the positives, they outweigh this last near-accident. So overall, I won't hesitate to stay here again.

|0.36km from city centerOnly ALL hotel in the area so as a Accor plus member I stayed there. While generally the property looks ok it is dated, Its back in the 1980s. The best part of the room was the shower, good hot water. The bed was very very hard and the pillow were very very thin. TV channels just free to air not cable. Wifi poor. Could not use my Accor plus card due to two things 1 It was a log week end and 2 The restaurant does not accept it. The room was clean and tidy. Windows only had curtains no blinds, so the room had to have the lights on to see.

The bed is very large, and the left and right mattresses are separated. The two people turn over and do not affect each other, and the quality of the bedding is good. The carpet is very comfortable. The most cattle is breakfast, in addition to the self-service part, a single point of free and rolling a considerable number of five-star hotels, the baby must eat breakfast must be a single point. I ordered a poached egg, served with crunchy bread and local asparagus and dried meat. The egg level of the Andaz Hotel in Tokyo is no different. Use the crunchy bread to pick up the egg yolk that flows out. It is delicious to cry. Oh, the plate is also very good. I even suspect that there is a seclusion chef here. I finished two eggs and heard other customers' feedback was quite delicious. The window was a small and beautiful garden. I will definitely come back to this hotel, not only for one day! I don’t have photos, it’s too delicious, no photo.

It is just 5 minutes walk from the Albany CCD and shopping streets with easy access to restaurants and cafes. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable. We loved the balcony and view out over the harbour. It was very easy to make a cup of tea in the shared kitchen and find an interesting magazine to read in the lounge. We really enjoyed our breakfast consisting of finely cut fruit, Bircher muesli and toast and jam in the mornings. We really appreciated the way Sue went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Dolphin Lodge is 50m from Middleton Beach, from where you can take the stunning walk around the cliff to town, or the opposite way along the near-deserted beach to Emu Point, both about an hour. This is an older, solidly-built complex of units. Our 1 bedroom unit 17 had all we needed to cook a dinner, a balcony facing east, separate bedroom and bathroom. Decent TV x2. Laundry on site ($5 wash). Manager and staff could not be more helpful - allowed us to change units after 1 night, fixed any issues immediately, kept the whole complex spotless. We're regular visitors to an old Albany friend, we'll stay here again

|0.41km from city centerThe location of Pelicans has easy access to Albany town centre and all tourist spots. We found the 1 bedroom Villa was perfect for our 7 night stay. It was very comfortable with fully fitted kitchen, a washing machine and a comfortable bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Shower only. The reverse cycle Fujitsu airconditioning was a welcome bonus especially for heat during the winter months which made it cosy. The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the 2nd TV in the bedroom. The complex has a laundry, coin operated (4 x $1 coins for a 30 minute dryer cycle. Not sure why there was not a dryer in our Villa as there is ample room for one above the washing machine!

It was a lovely stay, the coffee from the little shop at reception is not too great (I highly recommend the coffee from HazBeanz instead), although that was the only downside so I'm still giving a five star rating. I had to do some work while I was visiting and it was lovely to work on my laptop whilst looking out at the stunning view. Also utilised the fitness centre which I mostly had to myself. Definitely worth paying the extra $$ for an ocean view room, if you can!

|1.29km from city centerI only ever dealt with the staff at reception but they were always polite, helpful and very informative. We had two connecting rooms for our family of five. There was plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. Rooms have split system air conditioners that work well enough. Despite the bathrooms (especially the toilets) showing their age, the rooms are at least clean. Rooms come with a digital TV with free-to-air channels, alarm clock, phone, microwave, kettle, mini-fridge and iron. Bathrooms come with complimentary toiletries. The motel is located on Albany Highway, like many motels in Albany and as such, for those not accustomed to staying next to a busy road it can be quite noisy (although as I'm a city slicker, I personally didn't have any issue). Since it is on Albany Highway though, it's easy to find. The motel has many facilities available, including an Indian restaurant, swimming pool, guest laundry, table tennis table, communal kitchen and a games room. DVD players and board games are available from reception on request too. Continental breakfasts are available for $13pp. What I liked best about the motel was the convenient location, friendly service, and clean and spacious rooms. What I liked least was that the bathrooms could do with some refurbishing, especially the toilets.

Very spacious room with drying washing machine and simple cooker, we can hot food for dinner.
The next morning, without a reservation, we also had breakfast. At the same time, be considerate of our late arrival and let us check out until 11 o'clock. Check in here at 2 o'clock and check out at 10 o'clock.
I really like the small platform in front of the restaurant, I also like the clean and tidy yard, and the beautiful owner.

Each of the 4 rooms my family occupied were very well equipped with microwave, mini bar, fridge, kettle etc. we thoroughly enjoyed the days we were at The Clarence, the reception staff were extremely helpful, friendly and always there to help. The location is excellent for walking to shops and The Dome for brekky. A little way perhaps to the beach but after a good Australian brekky, the walk did us good!

It is also tucked in a quiet corner though it is near to the city - I believe the hotel is newly renovated. The rooms are spacious. - Receptionists are friendly and helpful as they do provide you with many information regarding Albany - Free Parking on site Cons - No lift - The bathroom is huge but the shower cubicle does not have space or shelf or racking to put our toiletries. - The water pressure is horrible as it is so low that I have to use double time to shower. - Complimentary drinks are not being top up even though we stayed 2 nights.

Admittedly our food may have been different to individuals staying here as both nights we had a varied buffet for dinner. Breakfast was also a buffet and all meals were tasty and hot. The staff were friendly and efficient and the rooms were spacious and the beds super comfortable. Laundry facilities were also very much appreciated. One of the outstanding features though were the native gardens. Absolutely beautiful. If only our garden at home could look like these ones. Highly recommend.

Very comfy beds, excellent shower (better than mine!) and lovely clean new furniture. Couldn't fault it. Really great property and all on the ground floor so you can drive your car right up to your door. The kids loved it as it's close to the beach, right next to a big park and a nice quiet path next to the units where they can play on their scooters safely etc. Really excellent facility

The small courtyard in front just made me feel at home~ The boys received (sorry I don't know your name) saw that as soon as we entered the door, we were immediately willing to stop the work at hand and greet us to assist us in the check-in process. And detailed introduction to the environment and equipment here (and the pets here ***D) can be seen everywhere the administrator's intentions! The room and bathroom are quite clean, and there are other backpackers inn less common bathtub design. Provide free and unlimited WiFi for residents, which is also very good~ The price is not high, and the overall CP value is very high backpacker inn~! ! !

|1.13km from city centerReally disappointed with my stay here. My food was stolen from the fridge and freezer (management confirmed the theft by reviewing CCTV footage from outside the kitchen). I don't think Tasman does enough to warn customers about potential theft from the fridges. The kitchens should only be accessible via some sort of key or swipe badge system like with the shower rooms (currently anyone can walk in off the street and take whatever they like). It's not enough to have pad locks on the fridges as some customers will not forget to lock up the fridges and freezers. CCTV cameras should also survey the fridges and freezers. One of the staff members said it was against the rules because it would be an intrusion of privacy like with having cameras in the bathrooms. I pointed out this made no sense as people shouldn't be naked in the kitchens. Perhaps security could patrol the property and approach people without some strap or identification to deter intruders. The Wifi also basically does not work. The tent sites are also so small you can hear people in other tents snoring.
