0.36km from Palermo, PizzeriaUltra elegant hotel with a galleried atrium that immediately creates an atmosphere of elegance and luxury. “The Grand” is strikingly attractive and superbly located. We had some initial checking in teething problems with twin-bed rather than double bedroom allocation as requested. However we were spontaneously offered a double room with its own sauna. But repeated attempts- including two visits by hotel staff – failed to get it to work. Disappointing in a hotel of this 4 star caliber. Rooms are extremely chic, comfortable and tastefully furnished; marbled bathroom well supplied with towels and cosmetics. The overall atmosphere one of gracious elegance. The luxurious ground floor lounges and the avant garde horseshoe bar are two big attractions. The hotel itself is a delightful oasis of comfort perfectly located between the Rynek Main Square and Rzeszow’s pedestrianized shopping streets. The hotel’s café opening onto the pedestrianized Tadeusza Kosciuszki is a delightful place to spend time having a coffee and watching the world go by. The breakfast room overlooks the main glass domed vaulted atrium-co; it provides a really great selection of hot and cold buffet choices, including some delightful Polish specialties. The rate for double room with breakfast for two of €78 was good value for money in such an attractive, historic Polish City. Would certainly recommend the hotel and will return the next time we are in the city.
