We arrived by train from the airport and the hotel was a 20 + minute walk (uphill) at a brisk pace. The cabs at the train station were charging €15 which in retrospect we should have taken. The hotel lobby looks shabby and does not make a good impression, but the reception was friendly and check in was fast. The room is not large but adequate, the bathroom very clean and the shower head has a mind of its own in terms of direction. The wifi is average speed (I.e.slow for downloads) The queen size bed was reasonable, the pillows small. The in room safe was not working but apparently you can store valuables at reception. The breakfast was good with scrambled eggs,Italian style bacon and unappealing sausages that looked like small hotdogs. There is also cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, self serve coffee/tea and also espresso/cappuccino & hot water at the bar. The shuttle to the port should be booked with reception the night before because it is a minivan for eight and fills up quickly. There are two supermarkets within 10 minutes walk and several restaurant/pizzeria’s nearby. If ever doing a pre-cruise overnight I would stay here again

After 2 nights in Rome, my wife and I journeyed to Civitavecchia to stay the night before our Med cruise was to leave. Our accommadtion choice was Bel Sole B&B, and it definitely was the right choice. Bel Sole is not in the busy area of Civitavecchia. It’s located in a quiet area, a good 15-20 minute walk down to the cruise port. The room is not fancy, but bright and clean. Bed is comfortable and the modern bathroom was great. Breakfast is served in a comfortable area and you have the choice of juice, toast, yogurt, pastries and coffee. Definitely a good start to the day. Just down the street, roughly a 10 minute walk, is the King Edward Gastro Pub, which I heartily recommend as a choice for dinner. If you are cruising, the owner will also arrange to get you to the port for $10 euro each. Bel Sole is wonderful, and will be our choice once again, if and when we return to Civitavecchia.

The Residenza de Tornabuoni - Civitavecchia provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Civitavecchia will find that the Residenza de Tornabuoni - Civitavecchia is a fantastic accommodation choice. With Chiesa di Santa Maria dell'Orazione e Morte, Stanza di Eliodoro del Vaticano and Piazza Leandra all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.

I would suggest that people travel straight from Rome to the ferry without spending time in Civitavecchia. The neighbourhood was rough, however, we found the whole town was much like the neighbourhood. The locals were incredibly rude and unfriendly. The exception, thankfully, was the kind lady who showed us to our room in the bnb. The kitchen facilities were poor, there were coffee machines, but no kettle, or no cooker. When we were leaving we asked if we could leave our bags until 1, as we had read was a service provided on our booking website. We were told in no uncertain terms that that would not be possible and so had to pay in a cafe in the town to leave or luggage there. Overall we were disappointed with our stay, but not all of it comes down to the bnb.

I booked this hotel based on location and price. It's SUPER convenient, just a few yards from the Civitavechia train station. The rooms are average size for a Europen hotel. While they appear somewhat dated, that belies the fact that everything is actually updated nicely, and is very comfortable. For the price I paid, I was expecting no view, but I got a room with a view of the ocean, and it had a small balcony which was nice. The weather wasn't the best during my stay, but what can you do about that. The included breakfast was another nice surprise.

Highly recommended! B&B Piazza Fratti is a little pearl in the vibrant heart of Civitavecchia. Walking distance from everything you can need: both port and train station are easily reachable, plus you’ll have plenty of shops bar and restaurants nearby (the b&b is in the historical centre of the town), together with the seaside promenade. The place itself is high quality standards, perfectly kept, cozy, well equipped and every comfort supplied (ie aircon). Benilde is amazing: charming and pleasant, she’s nice and really good in taking care of her guests. Proper looked after! Definitely the ultimate place - feels like home!

Marco and Pia are wonderful. We disembarked from our ship and arrived at 9:30 a.m. Pia told us to leave our very heavy suitcases inside the door and told us what time our room would be ready, which was several hours ahead of the scheduled check in time. Our suitcases were in our beautiful, clean room, with state of the art electronics! Both lighting and bluetooth features. You can make calls overseas, if you so choose. Marco had our breakfast ready for us at 7:30 a.m. He had been to the local market and arranged a beautiful tray of sweets, along with amazing cups of cappuccino. He also offered to make us eggs and bacon if we wanted it! The sweets and cappuccino were more than enough! His enthusiasm for his job is infectious. He loves people, and making them feel at home. His offers to help us make our airport connections were much appreciated. Definitely a great ending to our month long vacation! Thank you!

We stayed at the Alibrandi Palace on Nov 29. The reservation confirmation stated the front desk was open from 8am-8pm. Prior to our arrival, I emailed the hotel to confirm that we would be arriving early....around 8:30am... and were there provisions to store our luggage until check-in time. This is the response I received. "Good morning, for luggage there is no problem can leave them here with us, if there are no customers in the room booked by you can already do the check-in, otherwise you will have to wait for the time of the check-in." When we arrived the large wooden door was locked and no one answered the buzzer by it. Our driver was kind enough to use his cell phone to call the # I had for the Alibrandi Palace. He conveyed that no one would be there until later and we would have to return after 11am since we hadn't asked for early arrival. I think it was Alessandra who checked us in. When I showed her the email confirming early arrival she just shook her head and kept saying she didn't know anything about it. I asked her who wrote the email. She replied that she didn't know but said we could talk to the person coming in later.......which we did. Azzurra said she's the one who replied to emails but had no explanation as to why our early arrival information wasn't noted in our reservation. This situation made for a bad start to our pre-cruise day in Civitavecchia.

Everything you want for a short stay - clean large rooms, central location, wonderful staff, privacy and an abundance of food for breakfast. Access to a fully stocked kitchen throughout the day. Be aware these apartments are up 3 flights of stairs and no lift is available. The amenities whilst private are not in your room but a short walk away - this took a little getting used to but they are clean, modern and regularly maintained so it isn’t a deal breaker. Anna and her team are wonderful hosts and the location is a winner, thank you, see you again.

What a great find. In December, 2019, we booked this small hotel, (they only have 4 rooms) in Civitavecchia, Italy for the night before a cruise. It has just been open a short time and exists in a very old Museum building. All the rooms were sparkling new and comfortable. The owner met us there when we checked in. He was so helpful to us. He took out a map of the area to show us where we were, and highlight some places to see. He walked us to a bus stop so we could get to the next town, where my ancestors came from. There was a wonderful homemade breakfast spread the next morning. Again, he walked us to a different bus stop to pick up the shuttle for the ship, and he carried our bags. He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The hotel is in the perfect location for shops, restaurants and access to the port. We would stay there again, and highly recommend it to others.

Desk staff with Giuseppe and Luigi were a real pleasure. Dealt with Giuseppe several times making reservations via e-mail for three couples and his English and quick replies made it very easy. At check in our rooms were very hot but happily the air conditioners in each room worked very well. Rooms were small with only bed and one chair and small closet but super clean.Continental breakfasts were not a lot of choices but were good and coffee and specialty coffee and tea were included and made on the spot and excellent. We all stayed three nights before the cruise and this town which is Rome's sea connection was a historic walled city on the water side and has a great walkway with wonderful views and restaurants and bars along it. Not much shopping available in town except high end but good eating and wine stops and a large market well worth exploring. Next to the hotel is the best pizza place in town with small seating area and bar upstairs. Small grocery a short block away where nice inexpensive wine and prosecco can be purchased.

When you first approach this B&B you think this isn’t much to look at. It is located in an older building (everything is old) with small shops surrounding it. What makes this place is the hosts and the location. Our hosts were excellent greeting us at the train station and wouldn’t allow us to carry our own stuff. Though communication was difficult, they went out of the way to serve our every need and to ensure we were properly settled. They provided good recommendations for eating and shopping. The location is great especially if your are cruising. It is 2 blocks by foot to the terminus. Our host walk us to our bus and even put our stuff on the bus. Breakfast was simple but good with hot meal included. Our room was spacious enough and well laid out. Mattress was quite comfortable. Bathroom newer renovations with shower bidet and toilet, instant on water.

Villa Sara is set in a wonderfully quiet location ten minutes ride/drive from the ferry port and five minutes walk from a very nice restaurant over the sea. We arrived late in the afternoon from the frantic ferry port and Simonetta and Gianfranco were perfect hosts - it really was a haven of tranquility. The spacious rooms are very well equipped, including air-con, and our bikes were safely tucked away behind the locked gates overnight. During conversation it came up that many guests stay there and travel into Rome by train rather than staying in Rome itself - something I'm keeping in mind as it sounds a fabulous idea for a future trip!

I stayed 1 night at this hotel on Jan 3. My late feedback is caused by being on a world cruise returning back home just now. I regard myself as a seasoned traveler with good experiences in hotel accommodations. This place is claimed to be 4-star hotel. In my book probably between 2-3. I booked the place through Agoda and paid by card beforehand. I have serious problems understanding how the Mercure chain is willing to compromise its brand name by letting this place franchising at all. I appreciate my arrival in low season, but if they decide to stay open, they should keep some standards. My room had the air conditioning turned off – ie no heating. The door to the balcony could not close properly. People from outside could easily get access. The bathroom was tired and old fashioned with a strange electrical switch arrangement. Everything in the room told me of a seriously long period of neglect and lack of maintenance. It was a surreal experience – the room had a room safe. The key was attached to the room key!!! So if I by accident lost my room key, not only could people enter my room, they could open the room safe as well! To me, it says it all! On top of it all, the room was mosquito-infested – something I experienced the following morning. Bites all over my upper body! I tested the bar – they did not have local beers – just Heineken. There are no places to drink or eat in the neighborhood (!), so you are more or less stuck at the hotel. I therefore settled for dinner at the hotel. Half of the dishes on the menu were not available, and none of the wines! The waiter recommended a wine not on the list and he returned with an open bottle with a red-wine stained label. Clearly a bottle of wine filled from a carton in the kitchen. Disastrous.....and expensive – 48 euros for a main course and 'wine'. Check-out was an extremely unpleasant experience as well. As mentioned, I had already paid for the room. This did not prevent the desk-clerk to try to charge me twice! Anything at all being of some level of satisfaction? Yes, the breakfast – 5 euro – was totally acceptable. Overall conclusion. Do not stay there – at least not in the winter season. This is NOT a 4 star – and consequently highly overpriced.

[Location] Super convenient. The airport train is just a five-minute walk from the Central Station. [Service] Check-in at the front desk will take the initiative to call for procedures. [Room] The theme is red and black. The rooms are not large but they are generally the same in Europe. The shower in the bathroom is particularly flush. The air conditioner is very cool. There are hair dryers. The floor-to-ceiling windows are facing the train station. [Characteristics] Breakfast and dinner are included, I feel very rich, there is a drink for breakfast, there is no waiter at dinner to ask if you need it, foreigners order more, white rice for dinner and some dishes are salty, and fruits, mainly worry about the day The unsafe black out of the house happened to be solved in the hotel. [Note] Dinner must go to the lobby bar on the first floor to pick up the roll, indicating whether it is to be eaten at 7:00 or 8:00, and the actual meal at 7:00 is half past six. [Details] The lobby on the first floor does not need to go down the stairs. There are public spaces in the lobby. There is a sofa lounge and a small bar. In the early morning, there are two sofas on the basement floor to sit and wait. [Overall] High cost performance is recommended.

A very poor stay experience, the hotel is in a good location, five minutes walk from Milan Cathedral, but the hotel service is really average, especially the two female executives in the restaurant, went to breakfast three days during the stay, never with us Say hello, expressionless. This is not the case for non-Chinese tourists. Instead, the waiters in the restaurant were more enthusiastic and smiling. On the second day of check-in, we also painted the wall and did not notify the guests in advance, so that the children's clothes became dirty when they walked. The most annoying thing is that the hotel ’s scheduled visit to Da Vinci ’s “Last Supper” costs 50 Euros. Five-year-olds are also charged in full (but in Europe, five-year-olds are basically free) Since the fee was notified by phone, there was no written confirmation, but the fare printed on the tickets we received was 15 Euros, so that we did not know this until check-out. The hotel explained that this is a VIP service and this charge is totally unreasonable.

It ’s very convenient to take the subway every day. The morning market is very lively and the fruits are cheap. The morning market goes further. There is an ice cream shop on the street corner. I have stayed at this hotel in many room types, including standard rooms, executive rooms, standard apartments and superior apartments. If you are preparing to cook your own meals, then choosing an apartment is a good choice. The superior apartments are large in size, the horizontal and living rooms are two separate rooms and are very comfortable. If you are traveling alone, the executive room is also very good. The area is large and the living room is large. There is no sense of cramp. In summer, we will open the outdoor swimming pool, sunbathe, and read books in the sun. I always stay at this hotel every time I come to Milan, the price is moderate, about 8 minutes walk from TURRO subway red line, the traffic is relatively convenient. There is a small supermarket PENNY MARKET opposite, which is convenient and cheap. Especially the best thing is that every room type in this hotel has a large balcony, which is rare in Milan and super convenient.

The only hotel in the world, the first is located in Dubai. The restaurant of this hotel in Milan was a Michelin before, but now I change the chef. The smell of the room bath and shower products is my favorite tobacco taste. The service is really nothing to say. At night I thought the tram downstairs was too noisy at midnight. I upgraded a quiet suite the next day. I discovered that the iPad was out of control and could not turn off the lights. The air conditioner did not work before going to bed at night. I mentioned it when I checked out. After a while, the front desk deeply apologized and sent a scented candle as a gift. Milan gave me too many surprises, and I look forward to seeing you next time ~

The hardware is not very good, that is, the domestic fast chain looks like it. However, it is very good in terms of geographical location. The opposite is the railway station subway station, which is invincible. Going to Milan Cathedral and taking the subway station at the 3rd station is the square. Buffet breakfast can be eaten for two days a day, and long-term stay may not be able to stand. The service is not bad. What do you say to the Chinese? There is no kettle in the room, there is no hot water (it is estimated that only the second floor restaurant can pick up hot water) but many drinks in the refrigerator are free. The bed is soft and comfortable and the pillows are not high. After check in, although the front desk beauty will take the room, but the whole process did not help me with luggage, including the steps, people feel that the five-star hotel is not worthy of the title. The so-called gallery hotel, the "painting" of the room is also a print, not a real painting. In short, the price is not high. Tonight, I changed to the Domo Townhouse Hotel next door, which is also a five-star hotel. The service is much better than the Vickers Gallery. My room rate includes breakfast, breakfast is order-based, according to the menu, the chef is ready to serve, which is also the style of a big hotel. The breakfast tastes very good too. From the arched windows of the restaurant you can see the center of the arcade of the Manuele II, seeing tourists and luxury shops coming and going. The hotel door is not facing the inside of the arcade of the Manuelle II, but the small road towards the outside. The door is small and not easy to find, but there is a waiter welcoming at the door. Milan City Centre
The guests who booked the guests were very satisfied. The location of the hotel is excellent. Parent-child travel or couple travel is very recommended. It can be said that it is perfect. I have the opportunity to go to Shanghai Bulgari.

Milan City Centre
The hotel location is particularly good, 200 meters walk from Milan Cathedral and 500 meters walk from the shopping center. The food around the hotel is also very convenient. But the room environment can only be said to be OK, but the price is almost the same, from the location, there is no need to say, recommended! Hotel service attitude is also good, that is, English is generally spoken.
