The restort is inside a valley and the sea is a big bay. The resort is new, beautifully wood and concrete house made respecting the environment. Swimming pool near the restaurant. The food is a great Italian and Filipino food. The restaurant have longanisa buffalo like Italian pasta and Italian wines. The breakfast have Filipino classic or espresso coffee and teas. The resort is peaceful and green with banana trees and good maintenance. Clean in the private and in the common parts. Near the resort the beach is not super heart but the resort have also private ship and there are really beautiful place around spending 30 minutes by boat. I can suggest this place for couple that want relax, like for family because there are different accommodation. I add some pictures.

Just visited Pico deloro in Batangas for two nights. We rented a 2 bedrroom condo for P9000 per night. Comfortable stay with only one CR. Kids enjoyed the pool, but the ocean / cove was a real disappointment. H2O visibility was about 18 inch. Water clarity was not better than beaches in Cavite (Tanza). A condo guest has to pay for pool or beach towell service. One restaurant and a high end 7 eleven on property that was very limited & expensive. We stopped in Nasugbu at a Walter Mart (great market)for supplies & groceries. A great move to skip the restaurant and cook your own meals. I hired a driver for P1500. On the way, we stopped to buy local white corn & bigas (fresh uncooked rice @ P48 for a kilo. To enter the grounds, there is charge for P1600 per person @ $32. That adds up for 7 adults to enter the property( kids are free). The Gym, pool & beach are the only free amenities on property. You cannot use cash on property. Credit, debit or e plus cards ( exchange rate is P50 to the USD)are only acceptable for purchases. Staff is friendly. Do not visit during Holly week. Estimates were @ 5000 people. Beware of staff trying to sell memberships to the site. I wanted to rent a boat to visit another beach. PDL has 13 other beaches for members. There rental rate for non members was P1400 per person for one hour, which equals $200 for 7 guests visit another Beach for one hour. The resort is expensive and limited. If you don't have a car, then you are basically stuck for the duration of your stay. Hotel guests are paying almost $400 per night. My recommendation is to pass Pico deloro as a destination. I have crossed it off my list. Salamat Po.

My son just turned 22 and we chose Pico de Loro since we've never gone there and it seems to have the same profile as Anvaya. A members only hideaway but it allows non-members if they are booked in their hotel, i.e. Pico Sands. So off we go, a party of 6 to Nasugbu. Via waze, the drive is easy-peasy. It's just a 3-hr drive on an early morning Saturday. Hamilo Coast is a gated community and once inside guests wear arm tags so you really feel that the area is well secured since they can easily identify non-guests. The scenery is really good, facilities are impressive and they offer plenty of activities for reasonable rates. Buffet breakfast is included in the room package but because of the range of activities the resort offers, you will be lazy to leave especially if you are only staying a night. Therefore it is highly likely you will also have your lunch and dinner there. Food options are from 2 restaurants, reasonably priced, with asian+filipino-continental/european fusion menu. With regards to the breakfast spread, we love the Longganisa Taal but the fried biya is a little bit tough. All in all, it's a decent breakfast offering. We love the pool! It's a 2-level infinity pool with a view that opens up to the man-made lagoon. And during the night, the firework display made it perfect. The only downside? How ironic that we went there for the beach but it was the only downer. Water is littered with trash which we assumed were carried by the waves. If this was not the case, it would have been a perfect weekend. Will we come back? Yes, definitely but we will condition ourselves that it is not for the beach.

Booked 2 rooms. Got a Vineyard wing view. Location: below the Twin Lakes village , so unless you are bringing your own car , either you experience a steep upward climb, deal with a once hourly shuttle van ride or haggle with parking issues the moment you reach the village complex. 7-11 convenience store and a Robinson supermarket is at the upward level so get your stocks if needed. Lobby: very spacious , it has a bar at the middle , but elegance could be understated. Definitely they could improve something there. Room: somewhat good in size . Functional . It has the basics . Huge flat screen Tv . Cool Ac . Good lighting . But not too comfortable beds. Bathroom: separate shower from tub. Toilet has bidet spray option. With amenities such as toiletries and even a dental kit. I am uploading photos . WiFi : complimentary and stable internet signal . Amenities: it has a heated pool , gym and gaming room. Breakfast: it was a buffet in an ambient setting . I’m fine with the selection , but I think it is better to include some that kids like, such as bacon and hotdogs. Suggest doing that during long weekend and holidays. Staff : polite but overtly strict . First time I got charged for a hotel card key in an Andrew Tan owned property. But other than that , I just felt the disciplined approach. Parking : no problem , it was provided outside and multi level inside Overall , I’m satisfied with our stay. Felt relaxed just enjoying the vineyard view and cool crisp Tagaytay and Batangas air. I think aesthetic wise , this is the better Megaworld hotel .
