|1.24km from city centerCasa dos Rebelos is a cute little hotel in the heart of Panjim city. Its an old home converted into a hotel, and has an old world charm. The rooms are large, very comfortable and really clean. Since its a rooms- only hotel I ate out - which is not a problem because of the range of restaurants in and around the area. Shops, churches, boutiques, the ***dovi pier and the ******s - all in walking distance. Excellent pricing too.

|1.95km from city centerHi All, I am an avid traveller who covered 8 destinations for workations and leisure in last 7 months. I was in Goa for last 2 weeks. Stayed in amazing 3 and 4 star hotels in North and South Goa but then I did a mistake by looking at their photos and booking Lotus Sutra, Aarambol. This is the worst ever property, me and my wife came across in our travelling journey ever. Even BnB's or shack stays would have been better that Lotus Sutra. Except the view, everything they had is utter useless and baseless and I will share reasons with my post. I paid an amount to them for 2 N which was not even worth out stay which included breakfast and a sea view cottage. As we entered, we noticed that the staff and the reception people are not very welcoming, they literally have no interest in your quick seamless check-in. They are their just to do their job and not for great customer experience. Hopeless breakfast for vegetarians and worst menu ever. We ordered 3 things in veg and all were pathetic in taste. We asked for a match stick from the reception at night to light a candle in our room but nobody came and responded until 1 hour. We called again and we were told sorry sir we do not keep match sticks. Any 1 star hotel also would give or arrange a lighter or match stick from kitchen or keep it for their guests in a destination like Goa but this is not a cottage or a hotel but worst experience for anyone staying. We asked to extend our stay by like 30 mins or 1 hour as our flight was in the evening but we were clearly told no, not possible. The staff literally don't have any courtsey, no ability to handle crowd or arrange any function or event for in house guests. This is not how a chain or a branded hotel is run . Maybe for few years yes but not down the line because this industry works on customer experience and word of mouth and trust me this was the worst deal and mistake I ever did in Goa by booking Lotus Sutra.

We found the room so comfortable upon check out also we met the owner lady who was so kind and polite while talking and bid a very good farewell to us. We would love to visit there again soon. The property is at it's best location. Rooms are neat and clean. Staffs are very nice and helpful. I had a great Experience. Really amazing place where one would spend their holidays. |1.15km from city centerI am glad I've changed my decision to stay at some random hotel and to stay at the ”Piggy Hostel”, i had a four night stay and was never bored of the environment there. Have to mention about the hospitality showcased by Neha, Sangam, Philip, Abheer and Chef Ankita. The staff over there are so friendly and have helped me throughout the stay to explore Goa. You also get to meet new people in dormitory which is cleanly maintained and sanitised before your stay. Even the private rooms are of affordable rates. But if travelling solo, the dormitory is the place to be. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Calangute! PS: the beaches are nearby!

We could easily walk to markets or the beach restaurants in minutes. The breakfast was also delicious and they made anything extra you desired and allowed us a late check out. All the staffs were always ready to help and were available from morning until mid night. The breakfast spread was quite good and delicious - turned to be a Happy Meal with the smiling staffs ready to serve. A must recommended Hotel for a comfortable Stay.

|0.54km from city centerRecently stayed at the Hilton Goa and had a pleasant yet inconsistent experience. The room itself was excellent - very spacious with a large king bed, beautiful furnishings, and sparkling clean bathrooms. The location was also ideal.The breakfast spread was nice.
However, the swimming pool was a major disappointment. There seemed to be an overabundance of chlorine or other chemicals in the water that made it uncomfortable to swim in. My eyes stung badly after just a few minutes in the pool … it was basically unusable throughout my stay which was unfortunate.Also there is scope of improvement in the healthclub as well!
The hotel staff were courteous and professional but lacked some warmth and hospitality I would expect from a high-end resort. I wouldn't call them rude by any means, but they stuck strictly to business with little smiling or engaging conversation. I was hoping for staff that went the extra mile to create a more welcoming environment.
Overall, the Hilton Goa has a lot going for it in terms of room and location. They need to address the pool chemical imbalance and inject more hospitality into their service to excel as a premier 5* hotel. The foundation is there but some tweaks could make this a truly worldclass hotel dest.Thanks

|0.56km from city centerVery nice Hotel in Calangute. Rooms are small but clean and Modern. The white and Yellow theme goes very well. Basic amenities pocket tea/coffee, soaps, and kettles are provided. Breakfast is very good and unlimited has options in both veg and nonveg. There is also a live counter where we can order egg dishes, sausages etc. The swimming pool and pool area are good and well clean. There is a multi-purpose room where indoor games and library books are placed. The hotel staff is friendly and polite particularly Azhar from the restaurant section who served our request was very polite and helpful. He was full of energy, and enthusiasm from Goa to serve all customers. I will highly recommend this hotel if staying near Calangute beach. The hotel is just behind MacD. The distance between the beach and the Hotel is approx 1km.

|0.67km from city centerQuestion is if it is connected to morjim than why so less rating?? Well I just went on 25 feb 2024 with my wife and kid (16 months). Room stay no was 1204, 1st floor. Problem : My stay was just not pleasant hence the rating is so low and it is because the very first nght out of 2 nghts stay there was power cut @11:00 PM. (might happen but pls read the reason) . Could be genuine but it was only in four of the rooms 1201,02,03,04 as all connected to 1 power switch. Solution: technician said that could be because of either AC or geyzer. So solution was all rooms to switch off these two. Than each room was asked to switch on geyzer and AC switch together , per room at a time. This took around 20 mins and suddenly power drip again happened. Then suggetion was to switch on one by one, first geyzer than AC which trapped the issue of fault in AC in my room 1204.So restoration happened @12:30 AM, midnight. Note this same room had power issue exactly 3 months back as mentioned by technician, then why would someone give this room to guest of the issue was not sorted??? Did not get any answers anyways from the ***ager. 2nd issue was regarding complimentary brekfast. We referred pure Jain meal. So definitely the dishes are made once we order based on raw material availability. Over here the canteen cordinator mentioned that we can only get 2 dishes made. Note for veg (non jain) almost 8-9 varieties where made. Btw they all and I would have paid same amount for the room. Nowhere during the booking it was mentioned free breakfast BUT for Jains only 2 dish customised, so subsequently should have been less rate on the rooms. I fought with the ***ager and got atleast 3-4 dishes made that too on second day. So overall just not recommended if you are pure Veg Jain foody.

|1.4km from city centerAbsolutely stay away from this place if you are planning workation. Or even a Holiday. Cos there's no signal availability in the dorms. Wifi is unreliable. Oh, btw u can't even confirm this by contacting them because no one attends the phone call. Even if u r trying to locate the place, no one is available. I tried for a whole week to enquire before booking but nope. Couldn't get thro The hostel doesn't even have a proper signage that indicates d entrance (it has a sign that says Bombay coffee roasters). Very sad bathrooms. Just 2 for all d dorms on group floor. And there's no separate bathroom for men n women. The women's dorm - doesn't even have a latch!! And the luggage storage is a cage with zero security. Even if u bring ur own lock it doesn't help bcos it's just a cage that goes under d bed with no cover on top of it. U can lock it on one end to jus limit it's movement. Ppl can see what u hav in there! I want to check out even if it means foregoing the amount paid. Will do that tmrw. This place isn't worth it.

The hidden Gem in this treasure is BLD the all day Coffee shop, Oh my God so spacious, so beautiful, it was love at first sight. Divided into different sections of cuisines with live kitchens serving varieties of food at very reasonable prices. Each & every dish was so tasty & perfect may be from Chat counter, Italian food, salad counter, Chinese dishes, sushi counter, Indian food, Deserts, oh my mouth has already full of water. Cheff Bhasker & his team are doing a great job, the Taste, quality, presentation & all are one above another you cannot find a little short coming, the food is sumptuous & more than value for money. In my life I have not tasted food Better than here. According to me this is the best food to be served in any Hotel in India or abroad. My best wishes to Cheff Bhaskar & his team for doing such a wonderful work & wish them all the best for future. NB: you need at least 4-5 days stay to enjoy the complete journey of this food Mela. Breakfast which is included in itenary is good lunch & dinner is tasty and available till 10 PM Our 4 yrs old kid enjoyed the bed and bathtub. Fridge is available Near to beach, 2 - 3 walk, ***y food outlets available nearby towards main road. Cons : Kettle is not available, hot water isn't with temperature control, some times its very hot, need to be really alert and cautious, if you are traveling with kid. But the location is a bit off, it takes ten minutes to walk to the beach, and the airport comes to the taxi for an hour and a half. Hotel catering is mainly for Indians, and there is basically no international taste. There are so many restaurants around, you can eat steaks in all tastes, the price is not expensive, and the taxes are few.
