|0.41km from city centerGreat place to stay when exploring Puglia! The B&B is just outside one of the portals into Centro Storico & offers parking inside their security gate! The owners are welcoming & knowledgeable, gave me fantastic recommendations, they were available yet discreet. Beautiful rooms, some with balconies and/or big whirlpool tubs, great water pressure, good A/C, and very comfortable memory foam mattresses. There is even an elevator, great when you are tired after a full day exploring! Enjoyed their breakfast selection. Look forward to staying here again & again! Take a tour at the Jewish Museum. And follow Manlio’s recommendations... eat at Vico del Gusto... & visit the papier-mache shop, Cartapesta Baldari!

|0.7km from city centerStrategic location, Central but quiet. Swallowed in the green of a square. Bars and locals for young people nearby but with timetables without disturbing until late. New, clean and very clean rooms in every detail. It cleans every day except Sunday. Stay inexception. With a slight bonus holidays plus but sure to return to us.

|0.66km from city centerMy mom and I loved this B&B. Our room was beautiful: comfortable bed, terrace with a great view and a large and clean bathroom. The breakfast on the rooftop was amazing: we were able to choose between a sweet or salted breakfast and the view was amazing. The best thing about this B&B are definitely the hosts: Silvia and Alberto are the best possible hosts. They are incredibly friendly and helpful. They have shown us some really cool places near Lecce. We had the most wonderful week at Palazzo Marini.

|0.79km from city centerOverall well recommended. Location is on a popular modern main street which leads straight into the historic centre in about 10-15 minutes walk. Rooms are good sized and recently refurbished except for the bathrooms in top floors 5 and 6. So do your best to get a room on the lower floors. Food is generally good but beware that 'a la carte' takes ages especially at the bistro bar. A club sandwich took close to an hour to arrive lunch time. The highlight of the hotel is a guy called Tonio. He is the factotum. So pleasant and efficient. At one moment he is sweeping the lobby in the next he is repairing our tv set or helping people with their luggage and the lift. Tonio is the essence of the meaning of Hospitality.

|0.76km from city centerWe initially had some hesitation about booking Hotel Arryvo; we were worried it might be a bit too young and lively for two soon to be oldies who value comfort and relative quiet! However, its location and convenient parking swung the decision and we decided to give it a go. From the moment we arrived to a large welcoming smile, from receptionist Federica, we realised we were not going to regret it and, once we'd established that there'd be no music played on the rooftop terrace next to our room, we knew we could look forward to a wonderful stay. The hotel was bright and clean and our room, although a bit small, was nicely furnished and very comfortable. Not sure why we had a blow up guitar, keyboard and microphone but, as I said, we might almost be considered oldies. Breakfast was good and, being served to order rather than by buffet, was always fresh. Tea was available by the pot and was probably the best I've ever tasted outside the UK or Ireland. A real bonus for us English! The bar seemed to be open for drinks - alcoholic or otherwise - anytime we wanted and the staff were unfailingly efficient and very pleasant, attentive and friendly. They coped well with my attempts at speaking Italian but all seemed proficient in English. The location of the hotel was excellent with easy access by car while having a back door that opened directly onto one the many winding pedestrian streets of the old part of the city. Porta Napoli is just a few yards away providing an excellent reference point for when you get lost in the narrow alleys of the old town. Parking was in dedicated space in a car park no more than a couple of minutes walk away. It's hard to find anything negative to say about hotel Arryvo - a kettle in the room might have been nice and, as I've already said, we found the room to be a little on the small side. Maybe a shortage of towel hooks and storage space in the bathroom but I'm really nit-picking now. The biggest plus point was undoubtedly the staff. All were outstanding in their friendly demeanour and willingness to be helpful at all times; those smiles go a long way! All in all we were extremely pleased with our choice of Hotel and won't hesitate to stay there again if and when we return to Lecce.

|0.9km from city centerWould not recommend the breakfast because Nina will charge you a lot more for having a coffee at the bar by the Gate... It would be more fair to actually tell people to go the bar for coffe and a pastry, rathen than charge it a lot more than what it costs. Other than that bed is fine. we slept OK but been woken up at 7am by the alarm from the school across the street. Shower and toilet are across the room. Not much space in there, Let's say you could brush your teeth while you seat on the throne. Window by the shower don't really close, making the room a little less sound proof and cooling the shower. We didnt have the little biscuit that are said to be there.

|3.17km from city centerWe were welcomed by a friendly staff. The place looks really nice with all sorts of unique Arabic style decorations. A very pleasant place to relax with a hugh 40x40 meter pool. You can also use the spa area. Very nice is the back garden where you can chill out on your outdoor bed and couch. Breakfast was extensive. The only negative thing were the plastic cups in the room and plastic foiled slippers. I would have expected more sustainable solutions.

|1.5km from city centerThe city is small and the location is convenient. The room is large and the balcony is very large. It's very comfortable. The city's water quality is relatively hard, and it's not recommended to drink the boiled water with a kettle. The hotel does not provide drinking water, you need to buy it yourself.

|0.87km from city centerPeople make or break a holiday and Gianluca and Marika ensured our stay was exemplary. From pre arrival contact via watts app, to friendly greeting on arrival ( with a complementary tasty bottle of local wine) ,to bespoke breakfast orders on the roof terrace (the best we have experienced this year in Italy and we have visited Several areas ) local restaurant and trip recommendations ( Il Vico Del Gusto and I Latini were particular favourites - and we welcomed the assistance Gianluca provided in booking them) and genuinely friendly people willing to give you time to chat and enquire about your day and life. Assistance was also given in finding free parking around the corner or guidance to an affordable pay car park if needed. We were in a spacious and immaculately clean room on the first floor with welcome air conditioning (to beat the 43degree extreme and unusual heatwave) luxury toiletries, bedding and fridge . Negatives - none for us able bodied people ( Gianluca assisted with the luggage up the internal staircase) and the terrace is on the third floor You won’t be surprised to hear that we would have no hesitation in returning

|2.22km from city centerArrived in Lecce hotel to hot rooms, no in room internet, cots in rooms? closed pool and location in middle of no where. Very Late to try to organize a dinner in Lecce (on a Friday night) Hotel food service was disapponting . Limited menu, poor service, unpleasant atmosphere (in a large banquet hall) This hotel was a big disappointment. Too far from the city as we were booked in for three nights as part of a tour package. Hotel tried to tell us that rooms do have wifi internet. Previous reviews on social media say that this hotel has spotty/no Wi-Fi in rooms. Appears to be on going issue. Given it is classed as a conference centre I don't know why they didn't have suitable internet. Throughout our other 3 weeks in Italy it was never a problem. Guests should be informed prior to stay that outdoor pool closes Sept 1st. Would have definitely spent last afternoon at pool if we could. Instead, looked at a green pool through the window. Generally grounds looked a bit overgrown and under managed. Surrounding area around hotel and roads leading into hotel were dirty and unkept.

|0.77km from city centerA fantastic 4 night stay. We were greeted at the train station by the owner and taken to the hotel in a TriVespa. Our room was spectacular with a large bedroom, big and modern bathroom, lovely sitting room with a cabinet kitchenette and a private balcony and outdoor shower. The room had a great blend of old stone walls with all modern appointments. The breakfast every morning was homemade and delicious with a variety local pastries, fruits, vegetables and egg’s prepared how ever you preferred. The staff was extremely helpful in arranging reservations, transportation and drinks to our room. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels but this place ranked in the top 10 because of the service, gorgeous accommodations and ambiance. We definitely will be staying here next time we visit Lecce.

|0.31km from city centerFrom the moment you walk in to this hotel, you know you are in for something special. It is a uniquely designed combination of pugliese old world charm and incredibly modern and stylish decor and amenities. Our room - number 1 - was just spectacular with high ceilings, all the feature comforts and a lower level washroom with a full ”cave pool” built in, so unique and always to be remembered. That said, the lower level was very humid due to the pool, and not sure it's for everyone. I may opt for a different room next time but we don't regret it. Breakfasts were the best of our amazing trip! Book this hotel and don't think twice!

|0.36km from city centerOn October 2, 2023, my wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this fun B&B. This is centrally located, two steps from the pedestrian area and the centre. We arrived at the facility, through a gentlely provided code by the host we had access before check-in to download the baggage. We received a very nice girl who gave us some information. The good thing of this facility is that she has a a private parking 50 metres away with key , unfortunately has only one place, but we had the luck that a customer had left and the Host booked it for a day at the modest figure of 15 euro.Comunque nearby there is a way to find The hotel is located in the city centre and is located in the city centre. But we come to the rooms, each room has a name, our was the room Lupiae, really beautiful and wide with balcony, wide and comfortable double bed.Very nice and full bathroom of everything.Cleaning top, We have a very good breakfast in the terrace in the veranda, including salad and sweet, with famous cream pills, fruit juices, yoghurt and more. So what to say, a structure, beautiful, well managed, extremely pleasant to stay there, unfortunately we only for one day, strategic position. To return certainly. Most advisable!

|1.89km from city centerHotel is very modern, with high end bathroom fixtures, comfortable bedding, and a vast assortment of savory and sweet breakfast items. The hotel makes a great base for exploring the area since it is located very near the highways and major roads. The walk into the center of Lecce was a bit longer than I thought. The hotel staff clarified that it’s 15-20 minutes to Porta Napoli (entrance to the city walls), but it could be as long as 30 minutes to get where you want to go in the city center.

|0.54km from city center Dirty is the word. Should have listened to other reviewers about the cleanliness of this hotel and the rude staff. So, firstly, our greeting at midday as we walked into this not so easy to find hotel was ‘you’re too early for checkin’. My absolute pet hate greeting. Not a greeting at all. As I then explained to the ‘gentleman’ behind the counter, I can tell the time. All we wanted to do was to leave luggage. What ever happened to ‘let’s see what we can do?’ As we all know not all hotels run at 100% every night meaning there may be empty clean rooms. Okay, so the lack of lighting in the bedroom we can almost cope with. No overhead lighting at all. Just three lamps. iPhone torch essential to try and work out how to use the air conditioning. The air conditioning doesn’t really work anyway. The lack of light in the bathroom is a bigger worry. Again no overhead lighting just the flickering backlight behind the mirror. But perhaps low lighting is not a bad idea given the cleanliness of the bathroom, more on that later. Lack of lighting in the bathroom is unacceptable. The shower screen in the bathroom makes no sense the way it works, designed for thin people only. Not acceptable. The shower head is wrong design and the holder is broken and so just doesn’t work. Therefore the shower head has to be handheld which we do not find convenient at all. Not acceptable. Marks/stains on the very thin threadbare towels, not acceptable. But the cleanliness of the bathroom was the real worry. Wiping the floor, on day one, with the bath mat turned it brown as in faeces brown. But let’s give them a chance. So next day, in theory after the room has been cleaned, there are still those unidentified brown marks on the wall by the toilet paper holder. You can decide what they are. The toilet seat is poorly attached and moves. Not acceptable. Curtain rails but no curtains? Who took the curtains? Breakfast was reasonable. The guy, Nicola, serving coffee at breakfast was very good. Rooms were small. Have I mentioned the tiny black creatures that look like ants on the bedside table? I just hope they are not bed bugs. Check our guy was almost friendly and pleasant. Thanks to him. I must finish. Would we ever stay there again? Absolutely not. Would I recommend it? Absolutely not. Would I ask for my money back. Yes! Would I ever get it? I guess not!!
