We booked this hotel through Expedia. When we got there, the room that we booked was not available, even though we booked it a week in advance, and the website confirmed the reservation. When we entered into the room provided for us, we saw it was one bed and a small couch, which was not what we had reserved. When we went back to the front desk to ask for our reserved room, there was already another guest yelling at the man, demanding a receipt for the charges for the room that she did not receive. We explained the situation about the incorrect room to the man at the front desk, but he explained that the room was not available. We explained that we needed this room because we were a family staying together, but he (his name was Julian and he represented himself as the supervisor) refused. Because we overheard the other guest yelling at the other man at the front desk, we asked Julian to print the receipt confirming that they did not have the room. He provided us with one, and when we said that we did not want to stay because this was not the room we booked, he advised us to have Expedia call the hotel to refund us for our hotel charges. They assured us that we would not be charged. We never stayed in the hotel or any of the rooms, but they charged us for the nights. We had Expedia reach out to them, but they refused to refund any of the charges, saying it was ”nonrefundable,” even though they did not uphold their end of the contract. Expedia said they reached to their manager, a woman named Lisa, who again, repeated that it was nonrefundable and refused to assist them. Expedia sent them an email, explaining the situation, but they again, refused. They never apologized or tried to make it right. While there, we also saw another guest complaining that he kept receiving the wrong set of keys for his room, and so, could not enter the room. This was all within the span of 30 minutes. I have stayed in multiple hotels all over the country and this is by far, the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

The bedding was ok and the room was clean but a lot of things need fixing in this hotel. I would have graded average if it was not for the wildly ill-mannered person working at the reception in the mornings we stayed at the hotel: We called on two occasion, each time in the morning and we got the same person. We complained about our bed and the other time we asked for information. Each time the person was rude and not helpful whatsoever. This person should NOT work at reception. Also the backdoor (Porte 3) is broken and any individual can get into the hotel with no security (camera, people) checking on it. Not very safe in that side of the city.

Affordable, high speed nearby. After living in a poor and expensive hotel the day before, in contrast, it is cheap and good. Only the two rooms I have set are 27 flat. This room is obviously much smaller, and the heating only air conditioner is not like the heating of another room. The air conditioner sounds really loud, and it will start for a while.

Very new hotel with plenty of parking, a small supermarket and fruit shop on foot, and a pizzeria downstairs. It takes 5 minutes to drive to Wal-Mart and eat, far from the city, suitable for self-driving tour. Car rental by car + live shop, the price is much cheaper than the hotel in the city center. We stayed during Covid-19. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to La Ronde. The parking is excellent- there is a small surface lot out front and a large surface lot out back. This is important for us as we have a big lifted pickup truck. There was plenty of room for it to park! The lobby is cool and looks like it would be fun during non Covid times. There is a plane hanging from the ceiling and pictures of planes all over, which we’re fun to see. Staff was great. We saw them cleaning frequently and they always had masks on. Hand sanitizer is everywhere. The bar & restaurant are closed. The pool and hot tub were open and did not require a reservation. They asked us to wear masks on the pool deck if social distancing wasn’t possible. We used the pool twice and were the only ones there both times. Pool towels were available at the pool. The room was a good size- two queen beds and a desk. Newly renovated and decently clean. We did a good clean of all touch points with Lysol wipes when we arrived, just to be safe. There was a fridge. There was a microwave on our floor but not in our room. There were 3 sets of towels in the room. We had to change rooms our second night. We were originally put in room 409 and there was a rambunctious family in 407. Starting at 7am, the kids were running up and down the hall, the door was banging, over and over. We sleep in so we were not impressed. We asked if they were checking out & were told by a lovely front desk clerk that they were there another night. We asked to move and she moved us to 621- it had a lovely view of the river. She commented that the hotel was quiet so there were lots of choices for quiet rooms. Strange that we weren’t spaced out at the start of that was the case. The second room was much quieter and we slept in until 10am without hearing a peep. The hotel is only about 10min to La Ronde amusement park by car, which was the purpose of our visit. We will be back again.

There was a supermarket nearby, and the kitchen could be used, so it was nice to cook. The mattress is not good enough for the bed. The room was cold. It is a pity that there was no locker to hold large luggage. The staff are friendly and helpful. Towels and hair dryers were lent out. There was no problem with Wi-Fi.

The hotel is located in the city center, there are many roads nearby, and parking is not convenient. Breakfast costs more than 20 Canadian dollars per person, not too many varieties.

The kitchen that is most amazing to me, everything is complete. The carpet was a bit smudged, and the air-conditioned position of the room was anti-human design, blowing his head. WiFi slows down and slows down. It may be due to insufficient staff. The service is a bit slow and waits for a while, and the attitude is good. The hotel will not clean every day. If you need to change towels or toilet cups, you should change it to the front desk. It is also environmentally friendly.

Hello, as a recent guest who stayed from June 30th - July 5th, 2022 at Hotel Zero 1. The visit was destroyed by lack of any Room Service for a five night stay! Clean towels were requested the second day (July 2nd) which the cleaning staff left only one of on a table.....not two but one set of towels for two guests (obviously). A second set was requested the same day and changing of the linen to which two sets of towels were left in the room and a set of sheets after the cleaning person came to the room with more towels (once again) which were previously provided. At this point we had three and a half sets of towels but no one had cleaned the room, changed the bed linen/pillow cases or removed old towels, emptied trash or put up the new towels. We made the cleaning staff person aware as well as the front desk staff, that we requested a change of the linen/pillow cases etc and towels not to have them thrown in the room but the room cleaned and linen/towels properly changed like any decent hotel room service would provide. It is now day three (July 3rd) and although we were told 24 hours advanced notice was required for ”complete” housekeeping (room service) and we'd made that request on the 2nd only towels and sheets had been brought to the room. After being told we needed to give the staff between the hours of noon and 2pm to complete the task, we left the room on July 4th from 10:30am - 4:50pm and absolutely nothing was done - no service was provided at all. Of course, by now, I am upset! This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. We've stayed in hotels in several parts of American and Europe and never received NO service especially after requesting it three days in a row. Mr. Pizzi confronted the desk staff who asked for 15 minutes to have someone come address the state of the room. No one came. I called and asked ”is it going to be cleaned or not?” Am I going to be accommodated for this inept and financially compensated or not?” Then a desk clerk came to the room because the Manager was obviously too afraid to speak to us directly. Please note that after doubly requesting service on the 2nd and 3rd now on July 4th we confirmed again with the front desk team that we WERE scheduled for ”full room service” . The desk attendant came to the room and after seeing the condition of the room said ” I would be mad if my room was left like this too” He also assured me ”someone will be fired” ”they will be looking for a new cleaning crew and other guests were having the same issue and complaining about it”. All other nearby hotels were completely booked because of the Jazz Festival or believe you I would have left. We were offered to have our things packed and to be moved to a different room which seemed useless as we were flying out the next day at this point. We ended up having to change our own sheets and make our own bed - YES, in HOTEL ZERO 1 We made Our Own BED!!!!!! Furthermore, we were instructed to leave our sheets and tra

Great location -- just minutes to Old Montreal -- very comfy beds -- nice products in bathroom. My only complaint is this -- at check-in, we were asked if we wanted the room cleaned every day, or if we were ok with every other day -- we requested every day, but that didn't happen. We stayed Sunday-Thursday -- room was only cleaned late Tuesday afternoon and that was after us asking why it hadn't been cleaned Monday and/or Tuesday morning. Sigh. Front desk staff was very nice.

The Le Mount Stephen is a blend of old world Montreal paired with modern innovation and differentiated from other hotels by their outstanding service. I have travel extensively and the level of service at this property is exceptional. Here are just a few of the many examples from our stay: What could have been a miserable start to my vacation started on a positive note. I drove to the hotel, and there was a horrible rain storm and all the roads around the hotel were closed due to construction. It was frustrating but then I called the hotel and the bellman stayed on the phone for 15 minutes to navigate me around the construction until I pulled up to the hotel. I wish I had his name. He was exceptionally kind to stay on the phone. William the chief concierge provided outstanding service. Not only did he provide great recommendations and was helpful with reservations, but his deep knowledge and articulate story telling was first class. He provided so much history whether it was about the local sites or even the story behind a local chef. He made our stay in Montreal so much better! Thank you William! The massages in their spa to start our vacation on a relaxing note was a great choice. If you have the time, take advantage of this service. Our room attendants who cleaned our room multiple times each day. We don’t know their names, but they kept things SPOTLESS and refilled things constantly. And lastly the hostess at Bar George, Kat. She was incredibly friendly and helped us to grab a seat in the very busy lounge each night for a drink when we arrived back to the property to close out each night. We love our stay at Le Mount Stephen! We will definitely be back.

My wife and I visited Montreal in July 2022. This was our first international trip since before COVID. We wanted someplace that was a short non stop flight but gave a European feel. Old Montreal
We arrived at the hotel after 1 p.m. The parking valet gave us a warm reception, and throughout our stay the parking attendants were quick and pleasant. The location is about as good as you can get for Old Montreal, in the heart of the action, but easy enough to access by car. The desk clerk told us our room was not ready, but that we would be given a call on our mobile when it was. We left our baggage. We returned to the desk at 4 having received no call. Upon then being told our room was ready, I inquired why we had not received a call. First, I was told they were too busy, but then the clerk retracted that and said the room had just been made up. At the time there were three gentlemen manning the desk and I was the only guest being served. At comparable properties it is usually the practice to put the guest’s checked luggage in their room when it is ready, that did not occur here. We showed ourselves to our room, the luggage came later. Again, there was no communication from the bellman, no offer to bring ice, suggestions, etc. We had booked one of the rooms with the small outside terrace - as the hotel had warned, there was no view. Still the outside space with two lounge chairs and a small ottoman made the room feel larger. The room itself was medium sized, well designed, and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable, the HVAC quiet and powerful, so sleep quality was excellent. There were ample outlets and reading lamps. Frette robes were provided as well as slippers. The building is very solid, we heard almost no noise from other guests throughout our four night stay. There was a Bluetooth speaker which my phone identified as an Oliver Hemming – but I was unable to get it to pair. The bathroom was small but also well equipped. Amenities were Le Labo Santal, one of my favorites. The shower head had excellent pressure and there were body sprays. Towels were soft and refreshed every day - but the amenities were not until the last day of our stay. The in-room refrigerator appears to be a former minibar - it was not working on arrival, but was either fixed or replaced while we were at dinner. The hotel provides a Nespresso Pixie machine and two types of capsules - the Tokyo Lungo and a Ristretto -- both are good choices. We took coffee on the terrace each morning. Very enjoyable with open skies and singing birds. Housekeeping kept the room very clean, but the terrace could have used some TLC. Sometimes the bottles of water were replaced, sometimes not. Note that the small hotel pool is only for spa guests - although it is not inside the spa. I learned this after making my way to the pool for a swim. There are two terrasses - the ”Perche” on the first floor and the main one on the eighth floor. The latter attracts a large number of guests from outside the hotel, and the hotel staffs a small reception desk in the street in the evenings to sort them out. We made the mistake of waiting until our last day to try the 8th floor venue

Canada's two-week itinerary ended in Montreal. I chose this holiday inn next to Chinatown and stayed for two nights. I gave this a big compliment and highly recommended it. The hotel location is extremely good, only a few minutes walk to the cathedral. It's just two intersections away. The old city is behind the cathedral, so you can have breakfast by the side early in the morning, go to the cathedral, and then go back to the hotel for a rest at noon. We also walked all the way to other places. We walked to Canada Place for more than ten minutes, and then went to the big goose, then the mall gathering area. When we walked back to the hotel, we didn't feel far away. And next to Chinatown, the Chinese stomach can also be satisfied. Parking is 29 days, which is a bit expensive, but this is the second largest city in Canada. Understandably, it took about 20 minutes to drive to the airport. It takes more than forty minutes to go to Premium Ole. The room is large, the double bed is very comfortable, and four large boxes can be laid at the same time. The space is sufficient. Compared to the downtown inn in Toronto, I don't know how many times it is stronger, and it is very quiet. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Opposite the hotel is a super big supermarket iga, there are winners in the sweeping destination, and there are many food. Hotel service is also very good, in short it is highly recommended.

🚗 Transportation: There is a subway station within 400m, but most of them are taxis when it is too cold. The underground city seems to be able to go directly to the subway but can't go. 🧹Hygienic: Not bad, in line with the price of the hotel. 🍃Environment: The rooms are well decorated and have a sense of atmosphere. 🔔Service: The service is very fast, and you can get something within ten minutes after you call. Ctrip is still yyds. If you can’t communicate with the hotel, please ask Ctrip’s 24-hour customer service to help. It’s worth giving up the platinum challenge and points to book a room on Ctrip. Disadvantages: The hotel may be too old, although it has been renovated. Some facilities still do not work. Especially the air conditioner! ! After repairing it once, it still doesn't work, but because of the epidemic, I dare not let people come to repair it all the time. The temperature outside is below minus, the indoor air conditioner is turned on to 30 degrees Celsius, but it feels only about 10 degrees Celsius, so I woke up in the morning. I want the hotel to change a room, but this hotel seems to be a hotel where airline staff are staying. The rooms are so full every day that I can’t change it.

The thing to keep in mind about this hotel is that it's a European-style pension. Older building, continental style breakfast, minimal frills. Don't expect a whole lot of amenities. The rooms are older and the building (a converted post office) does have a bit of an ”old house” smell. I found no issues such as the ones in the comments below (propped open fire doors, bathtub problems). The breakfast is simple; bread, rolls, and muffins with butter, jam, or peanut butter. The coffee was excellent! I found the people at the desk to be extremely friendly and helpful. The location is not super-convenient. It helps to know your way around Montreal a little bit if you're staying here. It's near a bus stop, but buses don't run frequently in Montreal (they do post a schedule in the lobby, which helps). You'll be better off with the metro, which is a straight fifteen minute walk. Once you're on the metro, you're likely no more than 20 minutes from anywhere you'll want to go. The neighborhood is fine. It's an up-and-coming neighborhood with some industry, some old houses, some pricy renovated condos, and plenty of small parks. Like most of Montreal, it's completely safe at any hour. There isn't a whole lot to do close by. Lots of good restaurants and cafes about a mile to the north and east. Otherwise, you'll need to get an Uber or take the metro (or grab a Bixi bike in the spring or summer).

The man on duty late at night is called Yuri, an Eastern European male who can't speak bad English and lacks the necessary basic literacy of hotel workers. - I was assigned the last room in the hallway on the 20th floor. Anyone who goes out often knows that the last room in the hotel and the room opposite the elevator can live without it. 2:00am I dragged my luggage to the lobby to change rooms. - Yuri gave me another room and told me, middle okay? I said yes. As a result, the middle he said was a room between the elevator and the cleaning staff's work room. The result is that whenever someone uses the elevator, we can hear the gears turning. - I didn't sleep until 3am. I didn't sleep well the next day because I had to meet my friends, so I was resolutely stiff. It's been 3 days, and it's still not good today. It's already checked out. - I booked a hotel through Ctrip 2 months ago, and Alipay gave me a Hilton Gold member 3 days before check-in. Member benefits are free breakfast and free drinking water. I asked Yuri if I could give it, and he said that because it was not ordered from the hotel's official website, he couldn't. There was his Chinese colleague next to me, and then I asked again in Chinese, and he gave us 2 bottles of water. I also told Y that it was the first time we stayed at the Hilton. We used to be Marriott or Hyatt. In order to improve the customer experience, these innocuous perks can be given as much as we can. As a result, it doesn't come to you. I will never choose any of Hilton's hotels again. Really, let the guests not want to see you, you really take it seriously. The man on duty the next morning was called Darshini, who was supposed to be an Indian girl. We said that our room was very noisy, which reflected that we changed to a room with sunshine and a view without saying a word. I give this 100 points. The operation director of this hotel is called Katy. After I reported Yuri's matter to her, there has been no feedback, probably because of the weekend. Score calculation 0+100+0/3=33 points. I don't expect your director to work on weekends, and a comprehensive evaluation of 45 is considered a favor. In short, Hilton never lived again.
