This hotel is in a great location near the Eurostar station, the local train station, Westfield shopping centre (yes like the one in London) with Carrefour supermarket and many shops and restaurants and a few minutes walk to centre of Lille. Good room with comfy bed (pillows ok), mini fridge and a good bathroom. There is a small lounge area near breakfast area. Breakfast was ok - fresh pastries, booked eggs, cheeses, cereals yoghurts etc. Really helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for a week over New Year - the location was amazing, a 10 min gentle walk to the central squares, and right next to the huge westfield shopping centre (which also has a huge carrefour inside) and the train station. The rooms were clean and big enough for a family of 4, although it would have been preferable to have a proper dining table option, but we were happy to muddle through. As it was Dec/Jan we kept the windows closed so had no issues with noise from outside, but were woken by noise from above a few times due to chairs scraping on the wooden floors. This is a minor grumble though and didn't disrupt our stay. The mini-kitchen had a hob and microwave and a decent fridge freezer. Parking was a big plus and the directions they provided ahead of time were clear and easy to follow. Really positive stay!

Stayed there 2 nights to attend a wedding nearby. This hotel is a short walk from the two main train stations, it’s a perfect location. The hotel opened a few months ago, so it was in very good condition. The entrance is a little odd, but the hotel is hard to miss when you look up. The basic room had enough space and was very comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and polite. The breakfast buffet had a lot of choices. The bar selection at night was fine, and the server was efficient. I didn’t notice much noise from the DJ, but would recommend asking what your room faces.

I booked a room for two days with credit card. I was informed that this is a non refundable deal - it was ok with me. My risk. Arriving the hotel, the lady on the reception was the same from the phone...she was friendly. Entering the floor you got a feeling as in a thriller movie...lights were flickering, dirty carpet and walls and a really cheap smell in the air. Entering the room - same influence...The floor in the bathroom was an undulating ground, everything was pretty old and cheap smell all around the room. I decide to change the hotel, but not to cancel - I paid already - so, my choice to change the hotel...I could even sleep in front of the hotel on the street...I paid the room it can be just used by myself. I decided to use the parking place, because it is difficult to find a parking place in Lille and anyway, I paid already the bill. All this information I gave an another lady on the reception. After two days I gave back the remote control for the garage gate. I was wondering why my number key was not valid. Someone let me in the hotel...I went up to my room...number key was also not valid. A room maid opened the door and for my surprise the bed was used. A man came out of the bathroom, a little bit wondering about why I was in my/his room. I went down to the reception and asked them why they rent the room twice - it is forbidden to do that. They didn't agree with me, specially the manager Aurelien do not agree. I left the hotel and took the remote control with me. Till today I didn't get back my money. They took 70€ for the remote control from my credit card...congratulations, now you have finally a new, not any longer broken remote control. To all the people out there...there are nice hotels in Lille, but never, never go to this hotel...all around the hotel are drunken and drugged people, sex shops etc...and with a hotel manager that is renting rooms twice even if you have paid it!

We stayed 1 night in Lille and were welcomed by a very friendly and knowledgeable staff member. She was very professional and gave us a lot of tips on what to do and see in the city. The hotel was newly renovated, had a super nice rain-shower-head, big TV and comfortable bed. We stayed on 4th floor and had a nice view of the central station. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean. Parking was just a few minutes away from the hotel and we managed to book it right before arrival. Would definitiely recommend!

We booked this hotel months ago. My booking (of five nights) clearly stated that we were two groups of two people and that we'd like refurbished rooms. We were given two rooms that looked as though they'd been dragged kicking and screaming straight from the 50's. My parents were given a room where the person sleeping on the left hand side of the bed had to scramble over the person sleeping on the right to get in and out. It was a room for one person NOT two. (room 31) The room my partner and I were given was a little bigger (room 36) however two of us were only allowed three pillows between us. Not once during our stay was the bedding changed. We had two tiny sachets of shampoo for the entire length of our stay (I have long hair and the two sachets didnt wash half of it!) Toilet roll also seemed to be in short supply, with half a roll to last us 5 days, we ended up buying some. Both rooms overlooked a net covered in things clearly fallen from hotel rooms and three large air conditioning units, that ran 24/7. The bathrooms were incredibly small. I am 5'3" tall and my knees were pressed against the door when I was sat on the loo, my 6' tall partner ended up having to poo with the sliding door open! (nobody needs to see that.) There was not space within the bathroo to dry yourself after having a shower. Bear in mind I asked for REFURBISHED rooms. On our last day as we were leaving, we saw the actual rooms I requested, which were twice the size of ours, tastefully decorted and with wonderful views. WiFi didnt work The advertised parking was 1/4 mile away up 12 ramps to get to the floor. Anything bigger than a small SUV is NOT going to fit in the space, or up the ramps. It was only sheer luck we didnt bring our other vehicle. I am considering a claim to recoup some of the money we paid as the hotel clearly mis-sells its rooms, thankfully I paid with my credit card so I can do this. The hotel is well placed in the centre of Lille however.

When we arrived in lille we went from the main station to our hotel. This was very close. The hotel is in the centre of Lille. First thing we did was the check-in. The personal was kind and helpfull. When we wnt in our room it was smaller then the description, the bed was smaller (it was not a double bed!). The bed aas completely sagged. We could only tikt the windows. Because this it was very hot in the room. Lot of weird people hanging around this hotel. This also means there is a lot of noise. Thanks to the many night shop this noise is the whole night. Breakfazt was mwah. Some small croissant and variants on that. Baguette, yoghurt, bad coffee. Not the breakfast you want your day to start with. All with all terrible.

The place was quite low-key, a few steps from Gare Lille Flandres (which was the reason I picked it in first place). The hotel is not the newest one, and the interiors are tired. The staff spoke English, I was checked in no problem and was given advice around town. What surprised me is that the room was much less tired than corridors. The worst part was the tiny shower, which was fit so snugly into the bathroom that I think if I were a few kilos heavier, I might not have made it. The bedroom was actually comfortable and I had a very nice sleep. The soundproof was not the best though. The breakfast was included into the price and it was alright (well, ibis Budget in Krakow fared better in this aspect, but the Premiere Classe Lille Centre's breakfast it was ok to survive till lunchtime). I do not recommend this place for the people with mobility issues.

Stayed here on a short break in Lille. Arrived via Eurostar at EuraLille, a short walk away. Walked through the park, which had some interesting characters in it, and some cobbles, which weren't great for the suitcase - if you arrive at EuraLille, I'd say to go the slightly longer way round as the pavements are flatter. The hotel itself is very nice. The staff have some English, but it would be worth learning a few key phrases of French at least before you go. The room was clean and nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable and the curtains were good so we got good sleep. The shower had good pressure. The location is close to lots of nice bars and restaurants, the design district and boutiques are not far away, and there is a convenience store a few doors down for buying essentials. All in all, it was a great base from which to explore Lille.

The location is close to both stations and it is very convenient for shopping. The day before yesterday was also very good, knowing that I left early in the morning and recommended me a breakfast that can be taken away directly. very convenient. The room is quite small and the bed is quite small, but there is no way that it is an express hotel type after all. I also hurriedly stayed. But it is still recommended. The restaurants and hotels on both sides of the hotel have coupons.

The hotel is very centrally located, which is ideal for exploring Lille. The room itself was very clean and well presented. Our room was at the back of the property and therefore we did not experience the road noise some other guests mentioned - we heard literally no outside noise in the room. However, inside noise was a big problem. We stayed for three nights and neither me or my partner slept very well as the noise of the plumbing/ creaky floors and stairs was very loud in our room. When someone flushed the toilet upstairs it sounded like a bucket of water was being poured down the wall. The place does not seem to be at all sound proofed/ noise insulated as we could hear every footstep. The ‘ensuite’ was also slightly strange - a toilet in a cupboard at one side of the room and a sink and shower behind a curtain at the other side of the room - this was not entirely what we expected - but it was all very clean. If you’re looking for location and cleanliness at a good price this hotel provides perfectly - just not if you’re a light sleeper!

Brilliant especially if you are a large group (we were 9) as we rented several apartments in the building. Very centrally located and very clean. We had the 2 bed apartment so used as "base camp" and was big enough for us all to congregate for coffee and croissants in the morning (and cheese and wine in the evening before heading out!). Beautiful views of an old church out the front of our apartment. 2 small downsides are that the building has narrow staircases and no lift - so if you aren't able to carry heavy luggage upstairs you may have a problem as there is no reception or concierge to assist (we were sent door codes before our arrival). This wasn't a problem for us personally but do bear it in mind. Secondly I had a room on the first floor facing out onto the street...generally between midnight and 1am we had a chorus of people on the street outside making a fair bit of noise as the bars closed. Again, no biggie as I put ear plugs in - but again, remember to pack your earplugs just in case. Friends in the other apartments that did not look out to the front did not experience any noise issue. Great value for money and would definitely book again if we visit Lille

We visited this hotel for three nights. It is in quite a rough area of Lille and to be honest I didn't sleep for the time I was there. There was no air conditioning in the room so during our stay we had to open the window and balcony door to ventilate the room which to be quite honest did not suffice and the room was terribly hot throughout the night. The bathroom was absolutely tiny...the shower was so small that the curtain would stick to you whilst having a shower and it had a kind of hostel feel to it. The beds were relatively comfortable but the sheets didn't appear to be very clean. The only good thing about the room was the large television which didn't have any channels in English, despite being told that there were by the reception staff. The breakfast was an absolute rip off for what it was...some hams, some cheeses and some basic pastries but I wouldn't recommend - also when you check out they will add the local tax on top of the breakfast fee and they will add the tax on top of the room fee. So we ended up having a bill of over €130 for two days breakfast (for four people) plus the taxes. There is a local shop around the corner where you can buy some groceries if you need to. On one evening they had run out of water so we decided to ask the hotel for water. The kind lady on reception gave us the bottles and said they were free. The day we were checking out, we asked for another two bottles of water and much to our horror the other reception lady charged us €4 for the two bottles of non-refrigerated water. How cheeky! I have a feeling she pocketed this money for herself. The very cold water in the convenience store was only 50 cents. As mentioned earlier, my quality of sleep at this hotel was awful - we had the windows open to cool the room down a little and all through the night we could hear shouting and yelling from gangs around the hotel. At around 6am every morning I was awoken with the sound of the bin lorry banging and clunking extremely loudly. The room was also very dated and the balcony floor needed redoing. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying here. To the hotel, it really does pay to have good customer service. Had it not been for you charging €4 for two bottles of warm water I would have given a couple of extra stars, but when one person gives them to you for free and the other charges €4, I think theres something wrong.

3-night stay with my younger daughter to see the Christmas Markets and other sights. I'd previously stayed here in 2017 so was familiar with the "throw your own trash" rule etc. Spacious room with kitchenette including fridge and microwave so you can do your own catering, separate lounge and bedroom area with door between, smallish bathroom with shower but no bath. 5 minutes walk from Eurostar train station and main French domestic rail station. A further 5 minutes to get to the city centre. The hotel is part of the Euralille shopping mall complex, so it's less than 2 minutes from a huge Carrefour hypermarket where you can get your food to stock up the kitchenette. Small buffet breakfast area and you have to be early to get a decent choice of food or else it'll all be gone. Small charge for breakfast which I felt was good value. Once current travel restrictions are lifted I'd love to return for a short vacation break; hotel staff have always been friendly and helpful on both my visits. Well impressed. Note: bedding/cleaning is only done weekly so if you stay for just a few nights, you don't have to worry about hotel staff going into your room (in exchange for having to make your own bed!)

The hotel is only 200 metres from the Public Beaudex Art underground station. Take a subway ride to Rihour Station and go to the square to have a big meal. There are two big supermarkets next to the hotel, things are not expensive. Opposite the hotel is a Chinese supermarket. Hotel price is OK, feel better than Ibis style. The only downside, the hotel's breakfast is very simple, look at the picture.

We stayed here one night when we needed rescuing last minute due to the train strike. Usual clean, comfortable Ibis hotel, always good for a short city break, however avoid room 105, the wifi was shocking (ibis generally have good wifi as I have stayed in a few) and I called it a little prison cell, as the only window was up by the ceiling less than a foot long, had I been staying more than one night I would have asked for a new room. Natural light was poor. But it was clean and comfortable, general Ibis standards and good for a short stay. It’s across the road from Westfield shopping centre, and an easier walk from the station if you cut through the shopping centre, google maps took us the long way around. It was a good 10/15 minute walk from the centre of town, nice Christmas markets, and no restaurants within easy walking distance, unless you like the food courts in Westfield. Staff were friendly. My gripe is the check in! We arrived at the same time as a massive coach party, who’s tour guide made all his approx. 50 guests congregate around the small check in area whilst he called out their names and handed out their keys! They have a huge seating area to the rear, I’m not sure why the tour guide didn’t move his 50 guests to that area as he shouted out each individuals name and handed them their keys. We had to weave through all these guests to do our check in over his hollering.
