Hotels Near Parc Upc In Barcelona
0.46km from Parc UPCI love this hotel and have been coming to it for the past 4 and half years on my trips to Barcelona. It is in quiet neighborhood, with lots of nice restaurants near by, as well the hotel restaurant. As my main reason is business and often stay more then a week, the extra space works great, but the internet service is just horrible. If I have to take a conf call at night and don't want to stay in the office, is like missing the call. Just tried it again last night and the internet service was horrible, continuing to be horrible in the morning. They have free service for Marriott members, but it is like not existing, unless you are not looking to do casual surfing.
0.61km from Parc UPCThe choice of this hotel is because it is close to the Camp Nou. There is no geographical advantage, no matter whether it is going to the airport or the seaside, shopping is not convenient. Although the room is not big, but the layout is reasonable, some accessories are also in place. Lunch is very good, a set of 18 euros, can eat, beef, cake tastes very good. Dinner price is relatively low, are to be single point, not cost-effective, breakfast is not self-help, there are 3 package options. The front desk was very kind and helped me explain the list of charges in detail.
0.88km from Parc UPCThis is my go to hotel when I have a business trip to the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona. It is conveniently located, about a 5-10minute walk to the campus. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The breakfast is your standard western style, fruit, cereals, fried foods, coffee, juice etc. So nothing out of the ordinary but sufficient for business trips. The reception staff were very friendly, I even found out one of them studied at my alma mater so we had an interesting discussion about shared experiences.
0.89km from Parc UPCFor a travel on budget, the accommodation suffices. I took a single studio room and it had a basic bed, a working table and an attached bath-all good to crash for a couple of nights. But considering what it charges, there’s enough scope for improvement and adding services. The front desk is 24*7 and the staff by and large helpful. One thing I really liked was that the property was very responsive to emails (used booking.com) for all questions I had prior to check-in. The room is small but the air-conditioner is a saver in the hot climate. It was quite powerful too. I wish they had a couple of pillows more in the room and at least one comforter which all properties anyway provide. The breakfast is complimentary but repetitive, with limited choices. I found it boring and dull. Loved the location of the property. Just 10 mins walk to Maria Cristina train stop and since I had the Hola Barcelona card, could use all the public transportation at ease. Overall, given the hotel prices in central Barcelona, this is a good choice for few nights. The swimming pool was the icing on the cake !
0.91km from Parc UPCThis review is focussed exclusively on the hotel restaurant since it's the only part of the hotel where I have been. It's a good restaurant which lies in a not very busy street in Barcelona from which it's separated by a somewhat landscaped area, what makes the calm inside be higher than it would be if the premises were by the road. Besides, the music level is moderate so that it's not disturbing. The decoration inside is very simple: a few photographs depicting some opera scenes, a column and some wall stretches covered by a wooden structure reminding that of a Venetian blind. In spite of such a simple decoration the place is nice thanks particularly to the furniture layout and the luminosity inside. The chairs and sofas are very comfy. The food is rather good. I ordered a fillet as part of the set menu. It was tender and tasty. The soup was also good. The staff is kind and helpful. I was attended by Giulia, who is a nice, friendly and charming lady. The restaurant concerned is therefore a recommendable place to eat. The possibility of having a pleasant moment there eating a good meal cannot in principle be ruled out.
1.19km from Parc UPCMy wife and I stayed at another hotel closer to our planned activities (and to the vibrant night life) for most of our stay, then transitioned to this room near Estacion Saints so our early train would not require too early of a wake-up. Well, the place is superb. All new and contemporary, a sharp and helpful staff, and an on-site restraurant (reviewed separately by me). Our room was a suite, roomy and refined. It included a full kitchen with stove, min-fridge, and all the cookware and dinnerware you might need to prepare your own modest meals. The generous king bed was, as is so common in Europe, two doubles side-by-side--try not to fall into the gap. One downside--not nearly enough electrical outlets. The only one we could use to charge our devices was in the living room area, and required us to move a small table over to the wall. Hearty approval of this hotel. Business travellers especially might appreciate it.
1.2km from Parc UPCAfter accidentally booking an Airbnb that was too far out from the city centre, my friend and I needed a cheap, last minute alternative - and Albergue Studio more than exceeded our expectations. The manager gave us very helpful directions from the airport to the hotel, and was fantastic at recommending routes to the local landmarks. The room itself was small but as we were only there to sleep, was more than satisfactory - clean, well air-conditioned and with its own en-suite. An added bonus was the included breakfast, which more than set us up for the day ahead. Albergue Studio is around 30 minutes from Plaça de Catalunya by metro (you have to change lines twice) but is situated in a really safe area, five minutes away from nice restaurants and shops. I would thoroughly recommend this hostel for friends/families travelling to Barcelona.

1.31km from Parc UPCThe order was specifically requested to be quiet, but the room was not soundproof and I could hear the sound of the music outside. There is an electric kettle in the senior room, but I didn’t give it on the first day. I called and said that I sent it the next day. I sent it the next day, but the bathroom paper towel was forgotten. Set breakfast, but the hotel said no at check-in, call Ctrip, and deal with it very quickly. Restaurant service staff is very good, there are many kinds of meals, but also ask us if we need omelettes. If it is very convenient to watch the game, we are at Gate 64 and walk for 5 minutes. If you don't watch the game, it is not recommended.

1.34km from Parc UPCUpon arrival, the staff offered us a room with a nice terrace at no extra cost. The room was super nice, the staff is friendly and the hotel is well located if you want some calm nights. Not far from the touristic centre but in a way calmer area than everything that is around the beaches / La rambla and so on. Metro L6 is a few meters away from the hotel and will take you to Plaça Catalunya in less than 10 min. We also tried the breakfast, and it was very nice at a good price. Large choice of cereals, pastries (croissants etc.), breads, cheeses, ham and chorizo, sausages, bacon, jams, eggs and tortilla, and fresh fruits and fruit salads. Highly recommend this hotel !

1.43km from Parc UPCWe stayed here this February to visit MWC. This is a convenient place to visit MWC, because this hostel is located near the Metro station that the metro which is going to Fira is starting from here.Only 500 m walk from hotel to metro. There are good restaurants and shopping malls are located around the hotel. Eventhough there are only common wash rooms, they are kept clean and no queue for the wash rooms because there are sufficient number of wash rooms. Tea and some food are offered FoC and water, coffe can be bought from machine. Staff is so friendly and always ready to help us.
1.51km from Parc UPCI stayed in Yellow Nest Hostel for a long time over this summer whilst I was working and studying in Barcelona. I have stayed in four or five hostels in Barcelona and Yellow Nest is by far the best! I have found most of the hostels in Barcelona to be dirty, overcrowded and really loud. In contrast, Yellow Nest is super clean, everybody is so friendly (Carlos the manager is always happy to help you and the staff really make you feel like part of the family). The cleaners are amazing and the wifi is really good. The hostel has a big terrace, too. Yellow Nest is located in one of my favourite parts of Barcelona. It is a really local area with lots of bars and restaurants only 15 minutes from the centre but you will feel like less of a tourist and one of the locals. I never saw any problems in the hostel such as stealing and it is a real traditional hostel full of backpackers who eat together and talk. I have formed so many friendships, especially during the paella evenings hosted by the hostel, and I will be returning soon! Thanks so much everyone!
1.66km from Parc UPCI stayed here twice. Purely for it's proximity to a nearby hospital where I was getting some stuff done. First stay was just 2 nights. Not a lot to report. Things that stickout in my mind were the stained bathroom floor and being asked to pay the 2 euro city tax at checkout when it was already paid. She immedietely realised her mistake but I recommend just paying it at checkout to avoid any issue. Did not try the breakfast as I had to fast. My second stay was for 5 nights. Much the same as tthe first except that I tried the breakfasts. The bathroom still looked dated and crusty around the edges and also the entire floor floods each time you shower. For some general points. I find the place decent although I would get the same room in Thailand for 35 euro. Wifi fast and free. Room service... Theres a menu but it seems they order it through uber eats or something. Rooms - Generally ok. Decent size. Bed soft enough and big. Safe box. TV but with limited english channels. Bathrooms look tired but could mostly be fixed with a good scrub in the cracks. Apparently theres a swimming pool in the basement or something but I wasn't really interested. Breakfast buffet - Same everyday but no complaints. I looked forward to it everyday. The little chorizos were so tasty. The coffees and selection was all really great. The only thing I would change is add some more vegetable options. The stale hot vegetables is not very nice and could be more interesting. Location - Good if your here for the nearby hospital. Apart from that the area feels a little isolated. Theres a few eateries nearby but not really interesting. Discount - So after the first stay you get an email with a code for a discount next time. This combined with another discount on the website made it extremely cheap the 2nd trip (98 euro). Staff - Were all very nice generally. However regarding housekeeping they seemed to spend hours each day standing right near my door jabbering away. With a whole hotel to clean I don't know why they had to do this right by my door. Very annoying. Overall it was a good option for the area but given the price of using cabify (30euro for 15 min drives) I felt a bit isolated and the lack of food options was annoying however there is uber eats but all in spanish. I would stay again but if I didn't need to visit the hospital I would definitely choose somewhere more central.
Hotels Near Parc Upc In Barcelona Review
Fortunately, I chose this hotel at the beginning, and I was quite satisfied with it, especially the Chinese staff and comfortable beds. Would recommend to friends.
Location: It is about 30 minutes by taxi from the airport and the price is about 35 Euros. Going to the airport can ask the front desk for help. There are two supermarkets within 100 meters from the entrance and turning left. The medium-sized (much larger than 7-11) has everything in stock, especially the second one is more complete! Closed on Sundays, the slightly larger one is open until 21:30. Because there are so many thieves in the subway, the whole process is mainly walking and taxiing. The subway station does not know how far away. It is about a 10-minute walk from Casa Mila and Casa Batlló, and nearby (15-minute walk) there are Chinese food and a super delicious shop.
Hygiene, facilities: Very clean, two bottles of free mineral water every day, and non-heavy chocolates on the pillow. The bed was comfortable, not hard or soft, and the quilt was particularly comfortable. Hangers, disposable slippers, disposable toiletries, kettle, refrigerator, safe are all available, and there is a mini pool and gym upstairs. Fruits and discount cards were also given on the first day of stay.
Service: the best! On the first day, the front desk was assisted by a young Chinese service man who helped bring luggage to the room and sent us a map to introduce the location of the attractions. I can basically meet him in the next few days, greet him warmly, and asked him many questions, I really appreciate it! The service is also highly recommended for this hotel.
Some suggestions: The shelf in the bathroom will touch the arm, the air conditioner in the room will respond slowly, and both pieces of the bathrobe will be damaged.
What an amazing Hotel it should be 5 star! It was a little off putting when we arrived as there was a small homeless camp outside, but there was no bother from any of them, and once inside it was soon forgotten about! On arrival, check in was quick and we were offered a welcome drink, Cava for us and water for my daughter, she also received a H10 teddy and a sweet! The lovely man checking us in (i'm so sorry i forgot your name) noticed it was my 30th Birthday that day and gave us a room upgrade to a suite. The view from this room was unbelievably awesome with a window the full length of the room! The bed was huge and so comfy, the bathroom was well stocked with every toiletry/accessory you'd need and had a jacuzzi bath! The coffee machine in the room was brilliant. We had a cocktail at the bar which was good, and although a bit expensive was the same price as most in the area. One downside was the outdoor rooftop pool wasn't heated which meant although it was open, it was far too cold to use! Lovely seating area up there though which we made use of. A huge thank you to the hotel for the delivery in the evening to our room of Cava, Chocolate Mousse, sweets, cookies and chocolate covered strawberries, The room upgrade was more than enough, and this was so unexpected, what a lovely way to end my birthday! In the morning we were able to watch the sunrise from our bed with a coffee which was very lovely! Breakfast was incredible, nothing was missing, all well stocked and nothing ever ran out! Check Out was super quick and we were able to leave our bags for a few hours before we moved to our next hotel. Biggest downside about our stay was it was only for 1 night, we wished we had booked for longer!
I travelled with my children and we had a superior room with three separate beds. The room was spacious and we had a view of the beach across the road. I have given five stars as the hotel delivers what it sets out to. The staff were very helpful before I travelled, as well as during our stay. I liked that they sent me a survey whilst I was there. We had assumed the air conditioning was not working because we travelled offseason. We were offered an upgrade, which we did not take, however, we did get a fan and this helped a lot.The staff also helped me book tickets online, checked us in early. Customer service was excellent. The restaurants nearby are excellent, for breakfast, lunch, dinner whatever you prefer. There is a shopping centre nearby which a great variety of food, we chose the tapas.
We spent 5 days in Barcelona over Christmas 2019. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the little restaurant was really good with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The room on the other hand was disappointing. The beds definitely need to be replaced. My partner and I had two single beds pushed together and both beds were hollow in the middle. Our room overlooked Avinguda del Paral.lel and it was incredibly noisy at night. There was a lot of ambulance activity in the street. The room was really small with a minute wardrobe to hang clothing in. We had no hot water in the shower on the first day (middle of December), this problem was sorted out the next day thankfully. Tea/coffee and sugar was supplied only the first day and then again two days later (after I had gone to buy coffee, sugar and milk). No milk or creamer is supplied. I do not understand why. No proper cups or mugs were supplied. Only two paper cups which one obviously can not re-use. My partner hurt his ankle and I ordered ice to put on the sprain. We were charged for the tiny bucket of ice! We were quite surprised that the hotel has a 4 star rating. Other than the room the hotel is quite central and we did enjoy our time in Barcelona.
Stayed here for three nights in July. We ended up here by accident after our original hotel cancelled, but couldn’t have worked out better. The junior suite is generous by any hotel’s standards and the bathroom is excellent. The hotel is really well located, and we more or less walked everywhere. You can walk to the really nice restaurant district of Born and the beach very easily as well. The staff were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, despite the challenging circumstances all hotels find themselves in at the moment. The rooftop bar is the highlight though, with stunning views across the city, great cocktails and and a great soundtrack. Sitting in the pool and then having drinks up there was a highlight of the holiday. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar’s ‘Instagram corner’ where bored but clearly well trained boyfriends/husbands would take 847 pictures of a partner pouting at various different angles or acrobatic poses. The one woman dance routine on one occasion was a little much though. Maybe we’re just too British. When things return to normal (please!) we will definitely be back. Strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a bit of style and luxury in their holiday. Special shout out to the reception staff who were very patient with my Spanish! It made me feel much more competent than I am.
We stayed in the Penthouses the weekend the Coronavirus lockdown started, and we can honestly say all the staff we encountered at the hotel were more than friendly, welcoming and helpful. We also really liked that every member of the hotel team always introduced themselves when we spoke to them. We arrived late at night and were greeted by the extremely friendly front of house staff, which also included Helio, who showed us to our fantastic penthouse. We loved the amazing surprise for our son and the lovely cards and welcome gifts. On Saturday the first Coronavirus restrictions were imposed and the staff in the restaurant, front of house, as well as housekeeping were dealing with all the changes so well and were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff in the Bites cafe did their utmost to make our breakfast experience special. On Sunday the lockdown started and again, all of the staff kept us informed of the changing conditions and made our stay as great as could be under the circumstances. We also were able to be flexible with our late checkout, which was fantastic and so helpful. Especially the Penthouses team and Mehdi were brilliant, as well as Hermione. A big thank you to all the staff, who must have also been worried about their own families. We would love to come back another time, when the world has gone back to normal. Until then, please all stay safe and healthy!
