Casa Patavina is about a mile north of Padua rail station, in a leafy suburban area. Lianet, the owner, is kind and helpful, and a mine of information about Padua and surrounding towns and cities. I recommend the B&B.

We stayed 2 nights at this comfortable B&B on the outskirts of Padua and loved it.The owners were extraordinarily helpful, picking us up at the Padua train station, giving us directions for the bus, and driving us back to the train station after our stay. The son, Felipe, actually drew a special map for us with all the sights marked that we wanted to see! The family made us feel thoroughly at home when we came down to breakfast every day. Breakfast offered numerous choices, including as much coffee as we wanted. We stayed in the apartment just a block away. It was very reasonably priced, and we had our own kitchen, living area, and 2 bedrooms. The B&B is in a quiet residential neighborhood. I highly recommend this B&B!

We stayed here for 1 night mid March '19 . We arrived via train from Bologna. It's only about a 5-10 min walk from the station. 1st impressions of the hotel were very good . It's very much in the 'old style' in terms of décor , and very ornate but tastefully done . Reception staff were good, and check-in swift . Rooms were very nice, with tv, hair dryer, and free to use safe. Wi-fi was free , and good. Breakfast (cold buffet style) was nice, and varied . We were pleasantly surprised by just how lovely the Padova area is The walk from the hotel to the main (mostly pedestrianised ) old town. This covers a large area with lots of nice buildings and churches to be seen. slightly further on from the old town (10 mins walk) is the Basillica of St Anthony , and also the 'Prato della Valle' which is a lovely open area with statues and fountains. We were travelling to Venice Airport the next day , and we were able to get a bus directly to the airport (with a brief stop off in Venice) for only 8.50 euros . Bus station is directly beside the train station. I would have no trouble in recommending this property to other travellers.

We stayed in this very nice B&B for one night on a recent cycle tour. At first it was hard to find and it took the help of a friendly local to finally locate the address. It is situated in a block of flats which did not look very promising at first sight. However once we were greeted by the friendly Simonette things rapidly improved. She stored our bikes in a secure garage and upon entering the apartment we were very pleasantly surprised. Very modern, very clean and comfortable. (recently totally renovated). Lovely sitting room for guests and in the morning an excellent breakfast. Both Simonette and her husband Nico speak good English as well. Close to busstops to go into the lovely city of Padova, but the suburb in which the B&B is situated has a variety of shops, bars and restaurants as well.

Although low-key and slightly off the beaten track, this hotel is very accessible and has great parking. Prices are very low for the quality, and there seems to be little turnover of staff, always a good sign. The original specification was very high, and the same family maintain it very well. The breakfast is excellent. The basics all work and it is so easy to get to - you just park outside in front if there is room or round the back with no fuss. I regularly come to Padua and for various reasons have tried lots of hotels, but this is definitely the best value for money.

I stayed at NH Padova for one night. It was a work trip. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It not too far from the center and not too far from the main highway too. So it was easy to drive in from the Venice airport and back. The hospitality was good. Easy check and check out experience. Decent well sized clean rooms. All basic toiletries and utilities were present in the room. The breakfast spread was also good. All in all a perfect stay for work.

This was a last minute pick on the train going into Padova. Wish I could always be so lucky. The light, airy bedroom was good sized with a mix of fresh modern and traditional fittings. En-suite was spacious, well-appointed and with a jacuzzi bathtub. The south facing veranda was big enough for table, chairs and a sunbed. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good enough to do it justice! A quirky breakfast room provided a more than adequate breakfast to start the day. I thought location might be a downside, but no, the hotel is a fifteen minute walk/€8 taxi ride from the station. Located in the old part of town the hotel was a fifteen minute meander through porticoed streets to the heart of Padova, passing plentiful cafes, bars and restaurants on the way. With no negatives, Hotel Patavium was a winning pick way beyond my expectations.

We chose this property for its location, close to the station and still close to the centre of Padova. It was a fairly easy walk from the station with suitcases and a very easy walk when we had a couple of trips out to Vicenza and Venice. It was also a very easy walk to the main squares in the centre of Padova, we felt that we were in the city and always felt relaxed strolling home at night. The big bonus is the proerty itself, it doesn't look outstanding from outside but once inside you enter a real Italian house with genuine character. The rooms were large and clean with really good bathrooms. Breakfast was pleasant, people talked and there was a good selection. The second bonus were the hosts who were pleasant, friendly and really helpful. We felt Padova was a wonderful city, very Italian without too many tourists but a wonderful atmosphere and we will well remember evenings in the Piazzas. When we return we will agin stay at B&B Scrovegni

I stayed in room 437 of Crowne Plaza Padova on December 28, 2019. I am an IHG frequent client and a frequent traveler with an extensive experience in 4 and 5 star hotel stays around the world. The behavior and attitude of the receptionist Sofia is by far the rudest and the most descriminatory of my entire 35 years of travel experience. She doesn't even seem to care about her clients feelings and the impact she has on our loyalty to IHG. Her words, facial expressions, gestures, and body language all suggest hate, disdain, and descrimination. She clearly wanted us gone from the hotel and her actions suggested a clear racist attitude. I was going to stay longer in this hotel but I shortened my stay because of her attitude and the only reason I stayed the night is because we were very tired after a long journey and even so we considered going to another hotel but it was late in the night so we decided to stay the night. She truly tarnished the brand's great reputation and killed our desire to continue to choose to stay with your hotel chain in the future. Employing racist staff members is not a joke or forgiveable. We'd better choose another non-IHG place in the future if this is the kind of staff we may have to deal with in our stays. I will make sure to write the IHG Head Office to let them know know about this unfortunate experience so that no one else undergoes what we went through tonight. Thank you Dr. Khelifa

Padova City Center
We booked this hotel at the very last minute. Because of the flooding in Venice at the time of our visit to Italy, we decided that it would be preferable to visit somewhere else. We chose this hotel because of it being reasonably centrally located i.e. possible to walk into the town centre, also having parking facilities. We had booked quite an expensive hotel in Venice and this hotel was significantly cheaper. Whilst not I would say luxury, the hotel was great. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was not vast, however, entirely comfortable and nicely decorated. The ensuite contained bath and shower and came with all of the usual "additions" including shoe shine, vanity set etc. Storage in the room was fine. Broadband good. Minibar provided but no tea or coffee facilities. Breakfast was OK - no complaints - better to ask for coffee than to rely on the self-use machine. The restaurant/bar did not appear to be particuarly open during the vening, however, a wet November may not be peak season. All in all - no complaints - having not had the intent to visit Padova until Venice flooded, we found it to be an interesting, pretty city and well worth a visit.

Padova City Center
I stayed at Le Camp Suite & Spa three times and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I lived in Padova while in college and I go visit once or twice a year. A couple of years ago I decided to stay at Le Camp Suite & Spa for the first time because of the excellent location, right at the heart of the city and the convenience of free parking, which is a miracle to find at a decent price in the area. I ended up enjoying my stay so much that this became my hotel of choice every time I visit. The rooms are beautifully furnished and the staff always very professional and helpful. Breakfast is included and the selection of food is great and includes Illy coffee. If you want to relax before hitting the city, the spa is really the place to do that in a intimate and cozy atmosphere. I once also tried a massage and I was impressed by the quality of the service. All in all, if you happen to visit this wonderful city, I can't think of a better place to stay for the unbeatable location, the quality and professionalism of the service, and the comfort of the hotel.

Hotel Garibaldi is situated in a strategic position to visit Padua and Venice. The hotel offers spacious rooms equipped with Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, minibar, hairdryer in the bathroom and a LCD TV with football and cinema channels. The best part about the hotel is that there is a large garden where you can relax in the evening. A generous breakfast buffet of sweet and savory items is served daily, and there are many restaurants in the immediate area. The reception is open 24 hours a day.
