|0.22km from city centerMy mother-in-law was travelling in Italy while North America's Mother's Day. We wanted to surprise her with a Mother's Day gift so I contacted the Montebello Hotel and I asked if they could arrange for a special gift. Not only did they help but they created a magical moment with all kinds of Italian treats and wine. I must admit, the service was unbelievable. Friendly, courteous, helpful. I will definitively visit them when I'm Italy next! Grazie al Montebello Team per tutto!

|0.34km from city centerI am a tour leader and my group enjoyed a fantastic stay at this hotel. We received a warm welcome and professional service from all the departments especially by the food and drink department. Chiara, Irene, Martina and Walter took care of our every need and the chef prepared numerous varied dishes catering for all dietary needs. The owner of the hotel made it a point to meet each and every one of us. A big thank you and well done.

Montecatini Terme
|1.28km from city centerThe hotel is situated about a 10/15 minute walk from the centre. It's a lovely walk from the hotel to where the bars and restaurants are, through a well maintained park. The views from the hotel are incredible too, a very relaxing landscape whilst your hanging out in the pool or having breakfast. The communal spaces in the hotel are well maintained and clean. It's also pretty quiet which we really enjoyed. We stayed in the Junior Suite and liked the room decor and the amount of space and storage available. The automatic lights are a bit annoying if trying to shower at night as they don't work well. What we assumed was bottles of water in the fridge were not free though found out by accident that they were not - there is no price list so be aware of this very easy money making exercise. Breakfast is a pretty standard serving with breads, meats and pastries. All good quality.

|0.79km from city centerStately property with a fine location in a wonderful city. I stayed in room 406 which had one of the highlights of my almost month long visit to Italy. And it was a lush, verdant view of stately homes and tree groupings and mountains! Staff was great and accommodating.. Room had a terrace and a big wonderful window in the bathroom that opened onto that wonderful view~ A short walk to a wonderful town, and far enough from the hustle and bustle to provide one a sound sleep!

|1.12km from city centerI stayed in Palazzo BelVedere with my daughter for three nights at the beginning of August. The hotel and its premises are great, members of staff are friendly and keen to help and advise. At the reception we were welcomed by Simone and he was really nice and offered us some cold complementary drinks while we were checking in. The room was a generous size with a fabulous view over the mountains. Everything in the room looked new, sleek and modern. I particularly liked the French doors in the bathroom and a double shower which was very handy in the hot weather. It was great to have sound-proofed windows and an air conditioner in the room. Our breakfast was included and it was a nice beginning of the day with a wide range of local produce and fresh drinks. The staff in the restaurant was very approachable and helpful, especially Nicolette. Nothing was a problem for the staff and all our queries and needs were seen to immediately and with a smile by Diane. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

|0.55km from city centerQuaint hotel with cozy comfort. I am diabetic so breakfast was a challenge. There were many pastries, meats, and fruit. Dining alfresco was lovely. There is a pool, and it seemed dogs were allowed in the rooms. If you are an opera fan on Tuesday evenings in September and October there is a concert at the hotel, 20 euros. They sand the most favorite arias and some Neapolitan songs.

|0.51km from city centerThe location is good. And you can walk from Montecatini Termes Station for just around 8 minutes. But it’s cold in October, and it seems like that the heater was not open yet. But it was not cold in the evening. It doesn’t have free tea and coffee. The button of kettle is very hot when boiling water. And my finger got burnt when trying to turn it off(it can’t turn off automatically). The room is very small but the restroom is big. It’s not suitable to open window because backyard is a parking lot and you can smell gas. But the front desk people are helpful. Though they are not very outgoing, they are willing to solve your problem. You can ask them to book taxi. And the breakfast is so so. Dishes were limited and there were only two hot dishes (sausage and eggs, or bacon and eggs). And it doesn’t have spa and swimming pool. All in all, it’s fine.

Montecatini Terme
|0.73km from city centerThis is a lovely hotel and we would highly recommend it. It is in a great location with plentiful restaurants and bars in the area if you wished to explore. We are a family of four with two adult sons and we booked two Deluxe Premium rooms which were really spacious and clean. One room had a balcony and overlooked the swimming pool and surrounding area - postcard setting with a fantastic view. We were part of a large group from Ireland with Topflight who were on the Andrea Bocelli Experience and this hotel ticked all of the boxes for us. We had a lovely drinks reception and 'welcoming meal' on our first evening and a farewell dinner' on the last - all of which was delicious and the service was great. We also 'ate in' one evening and enjoyed the meal. The communal areas in this hotel are really comfortable and you would find it easy to find a quiet, comfortable spot to read a book and relax. There is also a nicely furnished outdoor terrace at the front of the hotel which was ideal for chilling out and socialising. Even though we were part of a large group we felt valued as customers and, by the end of the week, it felt like the staff were part of the group! This was particularly evident on our last night as they volunteered to take group photos and they entered into the fun of the occasion. They took great pride in their work and they were visibly excited when this was acknowledged. Many thanks to Giuseppe who multi-tasked with the groups, to Roberto who single-handedly manned the bar with super efficiency, to Marta, Sara and Rosa who served breakfast and dinner with a smile and had great patience with a diverse group, to all reception staff who were professional and friendly (Fabio was charming) and to the housekeeping staff who ensured that our rooms were spotlessly clean. Worth mentioning that we organised a private tour to Florence for our family. We liaised with Alessia at reception by email prior to the trip and we found her most helpful and obliging when we enquired if the hotel could organise a private return transfer. We were delighted when she confirmed that it was possible and the driver that they employ (another Roberto) was professional, friendly, punctual and safe. We can highly recommend him. We wouldn't hesitate to make a future reservation with this hotel. Moore family

|0.45km from city centerThe staff here are very nice and the rooms are spotless. We were in a half board basis so dinner was a choice of one of three starters (mainly soup or pasta) and one of three mains. Dessert was whatever it was - no choice. The food was basic, just about ok, certainly nothing special and we have never had such low quality food in a hotel before in Italy. The only good thing that can be said was that it was included in the HB price so we made sure we ate something tasty and better elsewhere at lunchtimes. The dessert on our first night was good - it was a big baked Alaska which was superb. A bit down hill after that on desserts though - the crostata one evening was dry and tasteless. There is a very basic salad bar available but best to get to it early as it ran out a couple of times we were there. Breakfast was even worse, we found to be a bit lacklustre! Macchine coffee, machine juices (very watery) and some sad pastries. Meats and cheese available but nothing inspiring - we have certainly had better. We opted for a superior room with terrace but sadly the weather was not our friend so it didn’t get the use I had hoped for. The shower was minescule with two bi-fold doors so you had to ease yourself in and then close the doors around yourself and not enough room to bend forward Sitting in the Liberty Terrace we were plagued with flies, mosquitos and gnats and, despite spraying, got quite a lot of bites. The hotel is really convenient for Terme tettuccio - it’s only about 800 metres away The Funicular is a little further but only a 10/15 minute walk away - very convenient! We have been to many parts of Italy and can say that the food in the hotel was the worst we have ever encountered. Would we return? Definitely not!

Montecatini Terme
|0.65km from city centerI agree with other reviews that the hotel is a bit faded compared to modern hotels but we found this part of its charm. Bathroom spacious and very clean and we didn’t have a problem with the beds. Very central but quiet. Food could have been more exciting but not unpleasant and my friend missed the meat courses and had double pasta most evenings which appeared without any fuss. I always had cheese free options which can be a bit of an ask in Italy but they didn’t bat an eyelid. The staff were very helpful and Elvis and his counterpart always on hand to assist. Our flight home was delayed by 36 hours but this is where the hotel came up trumps. The rest of our tour group got late evening flights on same day of original departure but we decided to take the BA offer of the next evening. We remained in our room, no chucking us out early on the day of departure (had the room until 5pm) and didn’t overcharge us for the extra day B&B. Think we remained on the group rate for our tour. Arranged a taxi transfer for us which was on the same bill. Handy for our claim back from BA. I’d recommend this hotel for convenient location and friendliness.

Montecatini Terme
|0.18km from city centerMy husband and I had a very pleasant stay at Tuscany Inn Hotel on our recent trip. We stayed for 5 nights at a regular room with daily breakfast included in our booking. The hotel and restaurant personnel were welcoming and helpful. We had no issues communicating with them as they speak and understand English. Everyone performed their jobs professionally. We appreciated that the hotel has a standard for cleanliness that is maintained daily. During our stay, Italy’s government required that hotel guests should be fully vaccinated and FFP2 or KN95 masks worn indoors and outdoors. The government’s strict rules and the hotel’s execution of the policy made us feel safe that we will not contract COVID while in Italy and would be able to go home as scheduled. Buffet breakfast is offered every day at the hotel. Hot food, cured meats, breads, and cheese are served by restaurant staff at a station while individually wrapped items like single serve butter, jam, and biscuits among others are self-serve. Coffee and juice dispensed from machines are self-serve as well. The arrangement was fine with us. We had no issues with measures taken to prevent the spread of COVID infection. Over all the food and service at the restaurant is good and we thoroughly enjoyed our Italian cured meats and cheese and our daily cup of cappuccino. The hotel has a spacious free parking area for guests, the entrance of which is at Viale Ugo Foscolo. It’s a much appreciated amenity by budget travelers like us. If not for the spotty WiFi signal in our room, I would have rated Tuscany Inn a 5. But to gain access to the internet, my husband and I had to stand by our room’s door to use Wifi. A couple of times, I had to hold my phone out in the hallway to get a signal. However, this should not deter anyone from staying at Tuscany Inn. The standard of cleanliness and the quality of service from staff makes up for the spotty Wifi in some rooms. Given the opportunity, we would stay at this hotel again. Grazie mille!

|0.42km from city centerWe had the most amazing time at Smarthotel Bartolini, Montecatini Terme. Carlo was the most gracious and amazing host, he made us feel welcome and nothing we asked for was too big a deal. The rooms were beautiful, clean and bright and the food was delicious. I couldn’t reccomend this hotel enough as it’s the perfect location for travelling between Florence, Pisa and the hidden gem that is Lucca. The train station is a very short walk away and was absolutely no bother. I also want to mention Barbara, the lady that makes breakfast. We love her and she is made of sunshine!

|0.07km from city centerGreatly and centrally located near lots of places to eat, have a drink and visit. Parking outside wasn’t too complicated, just find a spot and pay. When we got there we only found one employee who couldn’t speak English and was a bit difficult to check in but regardless he was very nice, helpful and serviceable. He also helped us with figuring out how the parking worked. Room and bathroom were nice and spacious though the mini fridge didn’t really seemed to work. Other than that I pile stay again if I were in the area.

|0.84km from city centerThe property is in a great location for exploring the town and the park and funicular. The hotel is spotlessly clean both inside and out. The roof top pool area is great for relaxing with a cooling breeze and fantastic views of Montecatini Terme Alto. What really made this our best ever Italian stay though is the hotel staff were exceptional throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were always met with a friendly smile, impeccable service, we honestly cannot remember better customer service from a hotel stay. A special mention for Nadisha whom we primarily worked the rooftop pool bar, this young lady is an absolute credit to the hotel, she is non stop, fluent in so many languages, never stops working and never stops smiling with every guest she meets and takes such wonderful care off.
