A group of 3 persons spent 7 nights in the hotel while being on the project meeting in Monopoli. The location is perfect as it is situated almost in the Old Town, close to the train station. The Interior tends to be posh. Spacious rooms, high ceilings, comfortable beds, wardrobes, TVset, balcony. Most important - rather big bathroom, plenty of towels and everything is clean and tidy. The owners and staff are very polite and kind people. Every morning freshly baked croissants, focaccia and coffee at your request prepared and served by signora Sabrina and pieces of music played by her husband made the breakfast time very pleasant. We had a nice stay in this B&B hotel.

Booked standard double room at this hotel and found everything to be as advertised. The location is fantastic, the breakfasts were ample and the staff were professional and friendly. There were plenty of restaurants, bars and shops all within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel restaurant was also excellent. There is also free parking a few minutes walk away and when parked call the hotel and their tuk tuk will pick you up!

Mirko and Massimo were excellent hosts. Everything worked well (not always a given in places like this and Massimo is always maintaining things to a high standard. The location is perfect. Easy to walk to from the train station, just around the corner from a piazza full of restaurants and bars but far enough away to be quiet at night. 4 rooms, one per floor. The stairs are narrow and twisty so if you are not comfortable with that or if you have large bags I suggest asking for the ground floor room. The room itself was large, full of character, spotlessly clean, good air con, tiny balcony but enough to dry the washing. Downstairs is the breakfast room. These are the tightest stairs of all. But breakfast is worth it. Several home made cakes, fruit from their garden (in season), barista made coffee. A great start to the day. There is a rooftop seating area which catches the breeze. Wifi worked ok most of the time. Thanks Massimo for a wonderful stay.

We just returned from a 4 night stay at Al Console. The hotel is small and intimate. Great location- very active night life- and a very generous breakfast was included with our rate. Accommodations are very clean and modern. What made the stay special was the customer service we received. Everyone was helpful and accommodating. Especially Beatrice. She was a gem from the beginning, answering all my questions on Whatsapp even prior to our arrival. She assisted us with dinner reservations, even walked us to our restaurant the last night of our stay and watched a little dog that was travelling with us. Thank you Beatrice and staff for making our stay so special. We miss you already! Until next time....

Absolutely loved my stay here. It was booked as part of a cycling tour and I loved it so much that I changed my flight and stayed on. The girls on reception are really friendly and will do everything they can to help. It’s not the classiest hotel stay in the world but it’s authentic, and feels like real Italian life. So much more relaxing than pretentious hotels. I have a lovely bedroom with a modern shower room on one floor and then upstairs is the kitchen/ dining area with a roof terrace. It’s all immaculately cleaned every day. Breakfast is good and has enough variety to not be boring even if you are here for a long stay. It’s all served at little tables in a traditional stone courtyard. I am so glad I changed my flight and I will definitely be back for long weekends as it’s so easy from the U.K. flight to Bari and then a short train ride to Monopoli or hotel will pick up. The location is great as right in centre of old town but not on the Main Street so away from any noise, the little beaches are just a short walk and there are lots of little cafes and restaurants in the immediate area. Great value too. Thank you Sylvia and Sabrina for making my stay so enjoyable.

What can I say about this wonderful place that has not been said already! Andrea really is the perfect host. Perfection was achieved under the following categories: Comfort, cleanliness, location, quality of the facilities & Andrea’s kind & helpful personality. We stayed in the Palazzo Fiscaiolo for 17 nights & it was simply amazing. We felt very safe in the Palazzo due to the COVID-19 procedures and precautions that were applied throughout the facility. The room spotlessly cleaned & sanitised daily. The breakfast was so plentiful & delicious & set us up for the day ahead. The Palazzo is located around the corner from the beach at Porto Vecchia in the Old Town. The choice of fantastic restaurants nearby & in the town is incredible. Monopoli also has a train station which makes it very easy to visit the other towns of Puglia. We had a wonderful holiday in Monopoli. When we return again to Monopoli we will stay at the Palazzo again. Perfection Andrea! 😊 Thank you!

Even better than the pictures; this apartment is ideally located in the old town overlooking the sea and the castle. It is very well equipped and everything is to a high standard. The breakfast buffet is a feast of local delicacies and makes for a great start to the day. The team at Santa Maria 24 complete the lovely experience. We had a truly fabulous week's stay here. It made a great base to explore lots of places in Puglia and being in the old town meant it was easy to find places to eat in the evenings. Yes, parking can be a bit of a challenge but that's to be expected in a car-free old town but we always found somewhere to leave the car (though travelling in October is probably very different to visiting in July/August). We stayed in the apartment on the top floor and stairs were a bit daunting the first time but you soon got used to it and the bonus is it helps to work off the calories from all the pasta, cheese, ice cream and wine. Special thanks to the property owner who made this a wonderful experience. Brilliant!

This must be one of the most stunning location I have ever stayed in. A small B&B located in/on the old town city wall. Only 4 rooms (suites) and a rooftop terrace with a tiny pool and the most incredible view. The staff met us very politely and they were helpful al along our stay. The room was very nice with a fully equipped bathroom. We had a wonderful breakfast on the terrace and also we had a drink in the moonshine at night on the terrace. Amazing and higly recommended.

Definitely, most definitely not a five-star experience. On arrival we were greeted enthusiastically by a lovely lady who welcomed us in the hotel and told us we had the best room in the whole property: the suite Don Ferrante. The room was indeed very nice, spacious and tastefully decorated. It had an extended balcony with a great sea view. Apart from the AC which could be working better, the room was pretty faultless and made a very good first impression. Unfortunately, that impression didn’t last very long. The first morning at breakfast was long and frustrating. The day before we had to fill out a form choosing which items we would like from the menu – special Covid times measures, I totally get that. But the staff seemed to be overwhelmed and very much lost, as we had to keep calling and asking for the items we never got (and getting their attention wasn’t especially easy). I must say the second breakfast was a better experience as we had a helpful and very friendly man helping us, big thanks to Alessio. Also, there was hardly anyone around at any time. The hotel restaurant was closed so there was no room service and the ‘pool bar’ didn’t work well either. The hotel has a jacuzzi/plunge pool and if you need a pool towel you have to remember to bring the tokens they give you at check in and walk all the way down to reception to exchange the tokens for the towels and make you way back to the pool. Despite being told we could get pool towels at the pool bar, that was not the case. What kind of 5-star hotel gives you vouchers/tokens for pool towels and make you walk through very narrow and low corridors all the way to reception and queue behind people checking in and out just to ask for towels? The location is very good, as you’re right into the historic and picturesque old town. The drawback is having to put up with a lot of noise from both the beach side (right below the balcony is a busy stretch of rocky beach) and the town side as the old town gets pretty busy during the evening and night – also during Covid times. The hotel has potential, but I don’t understand all the rave from travel magazine reviews about Don Ferrante. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend a stay here.

We spent 4 nights at the masseria and it’s one of the most beautiful places we stayed in (and we are picky) . First the location is very convenient, 20/25mn from all the villages and sights. The Masseria is located in a very quiet and peaceful area, amongst olive trees and wheat fields. As soon as you arrive you feel the serenity of the place. It has its own veggie garden (guests are welcome to pick and eat ) and vineyard. The swimming pool is big with a wonderful view and from there you can watch the sunset while drinking a cocktail. One of the great advantages is that you can have dinner there. The food is delicious (4 course meal) and showcases their own fruits & vegetables. Most of the rooms are in trulli , décoration is elegant, feels luxurious and comfortable ; we stayed in one of the suites and loved it. Finally, service is excellent, everybody was so nice, we met the owner who was making the effort of talking to all his guests, which we really appreciated. Shame we did not stay longer.

The Golden Suites 50 B&B is located in a very recent little apartment building, just outside the city center of Monopoli. On Google Maps, it looks quite far from the center but in fact everything is at walking distance. Big advantage of this location is the fact that parking is available, and free. As the owners are not living in the same building, you need to indicate your arrival time upfront. In our case, the very friendly owners were right on time to hand over the keys and show us the room. We were pleasantly surprised about the room, bathroom and terrace. A very tasteful design which can compete with high-end hotel chains. You will get a kind of voucher to have breakfast in the nearby bar. Don’t expect a lot of it. It’s just a croissant and coffee. Given the quality of the room (with free water and sodas) we were OK with this but keep this in mind if you are used to more classic B&B’s. We went to the supermarket nearby to buy some extra food and enjoyed it on our terrace. At check-out, the owners did gave us a package of orecchiette. A nice attention and the prefect end of a very nice stay.

We stayed here for 7 nights. We were 2 couples and had booked 2 suites. When we arrived , we just loved the place . It was just beautiful, an old farm converted into a small boutique hotel . It is on top of a hill , overlooking orchards of fruit and olive . trees , and in the distance you see Monopoli and the sea . There is a massive infinity pool and ample places to lie down and enjoy the view and sun. Absolutely heaven ! Our friends were in a room on one side of the property and we were facing the pool . We travelled so far from Australia to have this time in Puglia , to relax and enjoy. Unfortunately the place also books out the restaurant for weddings and functions . Our friends , as they were on the front side of the building did not hear anything, Our room, was beautiful but it faces the pool area. Needless to say we could hear the functions very well at night. We spoke with management and they were very apologetic., and we moved up the other side , upgraded us to an amazing room with a panoramic balcony . They went above and beyond to help us. They really understood and were so upset that we were were upset and wanted to do anything to make us happy. On speaking with the manager , he says that functions like birthday parties etc will be changed as it tends to cause a lot of problems . If you do book , just a tip, don’t book the Antica Cucina suite. It’s in the noisy firing line ! The staff were extremely sweet and caring and my absolute favourite was Luiga , who set out breakfast for us and worked dinner time as well . She could not speak English and I no Italian but we were able to communicate and laugh and share stories. Recommend this farmstay very highly , our time here , after moving rooms , was one we will always remember as a beautiful place

We have thought very hard about this review as it is difficult giving negative comments - our experiences are usually really positive. However we wanted to give a fair review to help others looking for accommodation and hopefully also the B&B to make some changes that would make a lot of difference. We stayed for 3 nights as part of a longer trip around Puglia, so we feel that we stayed long enough to assess and have experience of other accommodation aiming at the same market at the same time. On that basis, our thoughts are: Pros - Location - the accommodation is about 10 mins walk along the front from the old town, which makes it perfect for a walk in to explore or for dinner. It is also directly opposite a little beach area. However, our warning would be that the beach is quite small and was very overcrowded every day that we stayed. We went for one morning but it certainly wasn’t relaxing and there are no sunbeds or umbrellas. There is also a beach club directly across the road from the hotel. On the first night we stayed (a Sunday) it was playing very loud music from about 4pm through into the night - loud enough that we could hear it from near the old town. We weren’t disturbed in our room by either that or the road noise as our room was at the back but we chose not to sit on the roof terrace that evening as the music was that loud. - Room - the room was beautifully decorated and was kept very clean. The bed and pillow appeared to be memory foam, and there were dressing gowns and slippers provided. Save for the comments below, we were very happy with the room. - Roof terrace - this was a lovely addition. The pool was small and very shallow - not suitable for swimming but nice to sit in to cool down a bit. There were enough sunbeds for everyone there and were tables to sit out on an evening. Cons - Bathroom - this was incredibly impractical. We were in the ‘Comfort’ room which was the smallest one, which we knew when we booked (however even that was 150 euro per night!). This room had a fairly small bathroom with a jacuzzi bath that took up 1/2 to 2/3 of it. Whilst it looked impressive, it was way too big for the room. The bath wasn’t sealed in so every movement splashed water all over the floor. This was particularly difficult when the only shower in the room was part of the bath - trying to wash my hair sitting down and without splashing water everywhere was very uncomfortable. Even putting the bubbles on wasn’t great as the room was so small you were just sat starting at a wall (unnecessary given that there is a jacuzzi on the terrace which anyone can use and was usually empty). After a day in the heat, it was far from a pleasant experience. Overall, to make that room comfortable, the bath has to go and be replaced with a good quality shower. - Air conditioning - this was pretty much pointless. It was a minimum of 30 degrees outside when we stayed and the air con barely cooled it at all. Indeed even leaving it on all evening and

This was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. A recent and failed attempt to turn a windowless cellar into some type of “luxury”room. No view and only a door opening directly onto the street. The weirdly large ground level pool was only 1 foot from the weirdly round bed. The room was tiny, noisy, hot, humid and smelt. During the day the 1kw pool pump made headache inducing noises, competing with the similarly noisy humidifier in the tiny space. Don’t be fooled the website, the room has no view and is a health hazard. The air conditioning was set at 18 degrees but could only manage to hold the temperature at 27 degrees. Bed was too small due to the shape. No room for luggage at al. Every time the toilet upstairs was used out room smelt the. Management will not answer requests for smell removal and different rooms via What’s Up unless prompted. Our friend had a room above which was less expensive and a window which looked OK.

It is the second time in Naples and it is a repeater of this hotel. As expected, it is the best at a star hotel. The location is very close to Naples Central Station. I arrived in Naples at 22:00, but I felt safe with the shortest travel distance even with a suitcase. The rooms are clean, the beds are especially comfortable and you can easily oversleep. Bathroom is luxurious using marble. Water pressure is enough. Breakfast is also rich and delicious, and eats too much from morning. Sfogliatella in the photo was also delicious. The location is very good, very close to the subway station and train station, the hotel is clean, the breakfast is good, the bread is delicious. However, the air-conditioned room we stayed in was bad. It was not cold at all. The 30-degree heaven, the heat was flying. I just checked in at 1 o'clock and reacted to the front desk. He said that he would ask people to do it. We went out with confidence. In the afternoon, we changed back to the front desk and said that the whole floor was broken. I said that my mother’s house was fine. He had to say that he couldn’t fix it, and he would not change the house. Finally, I was told for a long time that I only promised to ask me to go to breakfast tomorrow morning, maybe I can change the room, not necessarily. The next day, I went to the morning to push me. I didn't promise to change it. I came back later and changed it for me, so I didn't give it to the worst. I still gave it a little face. If you want to live, be afraid of hot attention. Let's just say that many of their houses are not air-conditioned.

The location is very good, opposite the egg castle and the sea, the breakfast is completely sea view, blowing the sea breeze, feeling great! The breakfast was quite rich, and the cup of Italian condensed was a bit amazing, and I never liked to drink coffee. Although Napoli's construction of the whole city is quite old, it feels good. Because I went to Capri Island to return to the ticket time, I missed the hotel that was temporarily set back to the Rome train. The friend recommended it, said the global chain, because the ship arrived at the shore near ten o'clock at night, so there is no sea view room. The only bad episode was to take a taxi to the hotel at night. The driver received 20 Euros and 10 Euros. If the hotel was in the daytime, the hotel would only be 15 Euros. The German husband of the friend said that it was a tip at night. explained. 🙄

As everyone said, the location of the hotel is good, from the train station, directly opposite, looking at the far end of the square in front of the station can see the name of the hotel UNA, walk for 5 minutes. The hotel is a four-star chain, the quality is still guaranteed, the room and breakfast are quite satisfactory. The service staff is not enthusiastic, maybe it is a bit tired during the tourist season, but still able to maintain a professional smile and politely answer questions. The hotel can valet parking, charge parking fees according to the size and time of the car, tell them 20 minutes in advance, you can take the car to stop at the hotel entrance. This time we mainly went to Pompeii, Capri Island and Amalfi Coast. It was most suitable to live in Sorrento. At that time, I did not do my homework and used Napoli as a base, but I did not go to these places from Napoli. It’s ok, it’s okay.

I stayed at this hotel for four days, explaining the strength and asking for praise. 1. Strongly recommend a friend who is driving by car. If you are simply a friend who stays in a sea view room, please think twice. The reason is stated later. 2. Not a self-driving friend, please look here. The hotel is located on the mountainside. From the map, it is located near the station Mergellina. After the train station comes out, it is about 500 meters to the sea. There is a slope train to take a ride to the s.antonio station (should call this name, check it yourself) Next), if I don't understand this, please open your google map, you can't get it. After arriving at the station, you need to take a mountain road to get to the hotel. 3. However, I personally went up and down the mountain for two days. Why, because I was in Easter during this time in Naples, the slope station was closed! Fall! Now! That's right, shut it up! So in this case, in addition to walking, it is played. The starting fee is 3.5 Euros, and the thief is fast, and the friends who are not bad money should be directly taxi. 4. Staying at this hotel, if you still can't decide on the sea view room, I really don't understand it. As the hotel is halfway up the mountain, there is no choice of entertainment activities. If you want to find a convenience store, you can only find the van. There is a year-round business on the viewing platform, which is very expensive. 5. The hotel front desk is quite professional and has a good service attitude. Write so much for the time being, and think about what to add later. In short, it is still 9.5 points overall, but if it is not for the sea, if it is not self-driving, it is not recommended to stay at this hotel.

The hotel is a short way from the train station and that street is being repaired. But the service at the hotel was good: the boys at the front desk were smiling, kind and friendly, and they were learning Chinese. Ordering room service was fast and delicious, and the delivery uncle was handsome and friendly. I checked out for breakfast the next morning and was going to Amalfi Coast. A service boy took the initiative to help me with my luggage and let me rest assured that breakfast. When the car came, I would be called in the restaurant and then called. The hotel staff were so friendly. The only downside was the road construction, the room facing the street was a bit noisy. And the room looks the same as my picture.

Hotel Guiren is a perfect place to stay in Napels if your just looking for somewhere to lay your head for the night. If you are going out exploring then this hotel is very suitable. The room had great air conditioning unit and a good working shower. The double bed was two single beds put together, and was not comfortable but done what we needed. The bathroom consisting of a shower cubical, sink, toilet and bidet.Considering we had a balcony onlooking the main road, which is extrememly noisy when the doors were closed it was surprisingly very quiet. Hotel guiren is about 3 minute walk to train, metro and bus stations. The staff that we met were all very friendly and gave information on places to visit and how to get there. However as per the website, there is no bar and no lift. Many reviews we read before we went to Napels were saying how terrible the hotel was, but we actually found it fine. And as for the area, well Napels is a beautiful city.Yes there is a lot of grafitti everywhere.Yes it is dirty. And yes there are alot of migrants. But they caused no problem and were either polite upon speaking or kept themselves to themselves. If you are looking to visit Napels you must look past the dirt and grafitti as it has so much going for it. So many beautiful historic places...Pompii, Herculaneum, Archeological museum, Mount Vesuvius, San Severro chapel, Bourbon tunnels, Royal palace and so much more. We had an amazing holiday,so be open minded and enjoy the beautiful city of Napels
