I stayed here for one night for less than USD 20. Parking slot is available, the room was bigger than I expected, but it's relatively bare bones. I had two towels, no free water, no toothbrush or combs or lotions, not even soap in the shower. There was hot water and AC which is pretty good. Small flatscreen TV with cable available. The mirror in the bathroom had the silver highly corroded. Other than that, the room was clean and the hallway and lobby were quite decent. Easy check in and check out. Oh, location wise, this is pretty good. In the heart of Kapitolyo which is a nice neighborhood commercial and residential area. Right at the outskirts of the Ortigas Central Business District. If you want an inexpensive budget room with no frills this was a decent stay.

Reservation was easily done via phone. Thanks to Lala who was responsive in both calls and emails. Check-in was smooth and we were assisted right away to our 2 rooms. I was pleased they accommodated my request for the two rooms to be beside each other. Room was clean. Turned on the aircon and small ref. Went down to the Ace Water Spa - our first time since pandemic. The kids enjoyed but we went in closer to 3:30pm. The spa has 3 timeslots now 8am to 12nn, 1pm to 5pm and 6pm to 10pm. So we had to leave at exactly 5pm. Their protocols were updated. Towels (clean and fresh!) and swim caps are provided at the reception. We went up and noticed our room was still warm and the fridge too (we had a cake). I alerted housekeeping and front desk and we were transferred to new rooms. THANK YOU JAYSON of Housekeeping. You were so helpful. I noticed that they have less staff than usual but SERVICE was excellent.

We stayed in Astoria Plaza for over a month. We made our reservation well ahead of time and made a deposit (e-transfer) 10% of the total cost of our stay, plus extra cost for the early check-in. Upon checked in about 5:00 a.m., I was surprised when the front desk staff asked us when are we going to settle our account. I said “can’t you see on our reservation that we made a deposit w/c was equivalent to 11 days stay”? We were told that there was no room available yet on the higher floor so in the meantime we were given a room on a lower floor and promised that we will be moved on the higher floor in 2 days. I also asked if we are entitled for a free breakfast that morning, he said No because the cost for early check-in does not include breakfast. Anyway, once we were in our room the phone rang and he said Yes we can have free breakfast at the Astoria Cafe. We found the room on the lower floor was alright so we didn’t bother to be moved on the higher room. We have stayed in Astoria Plaza several times, and we know some staff who have been working there for 10 years or more. We accidentally broke a glass in the bathroom and we asked for replacement but was charged (pesos) to our account. However, the replacement glass was not delivered soon, until the day I talked to the housekeeping guy. I have seen blood or urine stains on the bedsheets. For our long stay in Astoria Plaza, we thought we could get a free transfer to the airport. Unfortunately, we don’t get that benefit so we settled for a grab taxi that was large enough for our 4 luggages and 2 carry-ones. Overall, our over a month stay in Astoria Plaza was pleasant. Our special thanks to Jinky Ching, Mac, Joy, Honey, Diane, Claire, Gella and all the staff in the cafeteria, for looking after us in the morning. 👏 Thank you to the concierge staff, for the free shuttle services to and from MegaMall/Shangrila.👏

It was my first time staying here because I needed to be in Ortigas Center for 5 days because of a recent promotion. The place exceeded my expectations! We stayed at a 1-BR “mini-suite”. There was electric kettle, refrigerator, complementary bottled water and coffee. Wifi Internet inside the room was good. Upon checking-in, the room was cleaned and smelled good. The beds were extremely comfortable. I could not get myself to stay awake for 5 minutes in bed after my day at work! I really had a good night’s rest every day. All of the staff, from the receptionists to the housekeepers, were very friendly and accommodating. Even the guard was respectful and helpful to us. Parking seems limited however inside the village, but I didn’t bring a car. The location felt very safe and is pretty quiet, even at night time. Seemingly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ortigas in a gated community. I sometimes see security guards during my nightly walks. I really enjoyed my stayed here and would definitely be back again in my next visit to Ortigas Center! It’s really a great value for the money!

We last stayed in Privato Ortigas a few months before the pandemic and I’m glad that we were back and even celebrated my mom’s birthday in Privato Hotel Ortigas!!I really liked their minimalistic room with great design. Its simple but it has everything we need. I loved their ever comfy beds that really made me relax and had a good sleep. But what I really loved about the hotel aside from its marvelous amenities like the pool and roof top bar and deck is their excellent customer service. I highly commend Duty Manager MA. CONTESA VICTORIA M CATUAAN for being hand on in making sure that the client’s requests and well being are addressed. Her sensitivity to PWDs needs such as me really deserved my admiration and respect. I also commend and thank front desk pips Alex and Bless who really assisted me in my reservations and made sure that everything was fine even before I arrived. To Divine who even assisted us up in our rooms to ensure that we are comfortable and if we still need anything else. To Aaron who assisted us when we checked in and helped us have our room in the soonest possible time. lastly, to Marvin/Melvin( I’m aways confused with his name sorry) who was patient every time we call front desk for our requests. It was indeed a wonderful experience and its was a wise decision to be back and we will surely be back very soon! The smell when you step out of the elevator going to the rooms will remind you of wood and antique. 😅 Don’t expect 5 star quality in the amenities because this hotel isn’t new but im still giving 5star for the price i paid for. I stayed in Richmonde Eastwood before so I expected more on the breakfast buffet especially on a Sunday morning. I was a little disappointed there but overall experience is satisfactory. Oh the pillows are too soft for my liking.

Hotel a bit difficult to find. There is no street entrance. The reception is on the 2nd floor. You have to go through a small corridor with a money changer. The staff is friendly like almost everywhere in the Philippines 🇵🇭. There is Wi-Fi, shower, with 💦 🔥 hot water. A small 📺 television and we are in manila. You can find better for the same price when we arrived. We were offered a room with bunk beds because there was a booking error. But everything was back to normal when we came back in the evening we had a room with a double bed

The hotel service is superb. No problem there. Swimming pool is a joke. It's not even inside the hotel. It's next to the stage and appears to have been the old place where they held their sea lions. Ginawang pool lng. The rooms are average. Biggest problem is that it hasn't decided if it's a room for kids and family or a honeymoon suite. The shower even when the door is closed leaks a lot of water so the entire bathroom is wet. The most disappointing is the actual Ocean Park. Limited animals and attractions. The show itself is limited to birds and 2 sea lions who do a few tricks for snacks. OK naman un show but the mere fact that they let their audience burn in the hot summer sun for 30min and the show is merely that is severely disappointing. They can't even pay for a good tent cover.

This hotel's name is actually just ”Hotel Sogo Malate”, not sure where the Quirino came from. It's on Mabini Street. I originally booked for 3 nights but then extended for another 3 nights because it was a good price and not far from Robinson's mall. The food is brought to your room via room service. All wrapped in cling film. Just like the old quarantine days. Not particularly good quality but arrived quickly. Staff In the hotel were generally helpful and friendly. Handy 7Eleven opposite. Trike drivers also hanging around there. Don't bother haggling with them. Just jump into any passing Jeepney and get off at Robin's mall, for 12 pesos .

I was a walk in cause first hotel I had messed up my reservation and next I tried was Quarantine ONLY. So hotel is modern, big rooms, I had a balcony so all good but lots of good concrete hotels. What stood out was the efficient friendly staff. Doorman/Bellman ”Jade” was the best, 100% on the ball. Made sure I was squared away. On the front desk ”Cel” & ””Carla” both excellent nice efficient. I am sure other staff were good but these three shone. They are the kind of staff every hotel wants. Yes next run to Manila I will stay there just for these folks.

My stay at Ola Hostel left me with a rather disappointing impression overall. While there were a few redeeming features, several issues made it a less than enjoyable experience. Firstly, the evening atmosphere in the lobby was simply lackluster. There was no music or any form of entertainment, which created a somewhat lifeless environment. This made it quite challenging to socialize with other guests or even just relax and unwind after a day of exploring the city. While they advertised a ”free breakfast” offering, the catch was that it was only available until 9 am. For travelers who like to sleep in or take their mornings at a leisurely pace, this limited breakfast window could be a significant inconvenience. Another noticeable drawback was the apparent disinterest of the hostel staff after breakfast hours. It felt as though they didn't want to be bothered with guest inquiries or assistance, which can leave guests feeling unsupported and unwelcome. On a more positive note, my room had a veranda, which was a pleasant feature and provided a nice place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. In conclusion, while the room with a veranda was a plus, the dead evening lobby, absence of music, restricted breakfast hours, and the staff's disengagement during certain times significantly impacted my overall experience at Ola Hostel, making it a less-than-ideal choice for my stay.

I booked online, upon check in FO staffs said they don’t received yet my booking confirmation, I showed confirmation but she is hesitant to look at it, as she said should be on her system. So I wait for a while, by the way it’s past 6 pm .. and tired from airport. Room is spacious, comfortable king size bed. Limited time room amenities, garbage on side table not cleared, trash still in the bin, toilet not so clean and disposable slippers is open and used. At this point, I’m more disappointed. Breakfast is not so well. Below average in same hotel categories. The bread are nice, looks homemade. Most of staffs are trainee. Bellman, concierge are willing and ready to assist always.

This is the second time we are staying in this hotel. The last time was last June and we exactly had the same problem still. The last time we went here, they mentioned that wifi is not working since there's something that needs to be fixed. Fast forward to 4 months later, the lady in the front desk presented the wifi username and password but when we tried to connect, no internet still. The last time we went here, they gave us a different remote to the TV. Now, we got the right remote but lady mentioned that it's not cable TV but we can watch something thru the net. Poof. It's also not connected. The beds are comfy tho but pillows' too thin. The faucet in the sink was damaged. They don't have other amenities. Location is okay if you want to explore UST, quiapo, or divisoria. Overall, value for money, we've stayed to other hotels with way better deals than here.

The staff was incredibly friendly and polite, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, their professionalism was outstanding. We truly appreciate Mr. Jason (pool area attendant) for taking care of us and offering drinks even though we were the only ones at the pool at that time. We also commend Ms. Marivic and her team, especially their dining area supervisor, for serving our food. Special mention to Ms. Sheila, who serenaded us during dinner. Excellent price and room despite lack of most complimentary sundries you expect from hotels. For a price of just around 15 US dollars I got a family sized suite with a double bed and a bunk bed. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, however, the property has been having problems providing toiletries. In my first visit last August, there was absolutely no toiletries provided, but in this recent visit this September, a complete set was provided. This was not such a big issue for me though, since I usually carry around my own hygiene kit. But what I keep coming back for in this property is the surprisingly excellent food they provide, which is absolute home-cooked goodness. Overall, despite the shortcomings, the pros of this property far outweighs the cons. Overall
