The location is very good, but the hygiene is not good. The room where I stayed for the first night has a taste of stool. After talking to the front desk, I will change other rooms soon, but the curtains in the room are very dusty. The equipment and design inside are completely different. Star, equivalent to 2 stars, and there is not much choice for breakfast, just some bread and cheese, all the drinks are drink machines, no hand-handed, so it is not four stars. The first night was booked in a superior room, but it did not meet the advanced room at all, and it was subject to further improvement in all aspects.

In the city center, near La Petite France and the cathedral, there are shopping centers nearby. When you check in, you don't need to look at your passport, just look at the photo you booked. But the room is very small, I don't know how other people's comments come from! The breakfast is average. The stated parking lot is actually not underground in the hotel, but a public parking lot with a stated price of 18 euros for 24 hours. As a result, we stopped at 10:30 pm to pick up the car at 3 pm the next day and charged us 35 euros! Overall it feels so so

We booked originally for 4 nights for 2 adults, a kid and a 3 months old baby. The check in was smooth and we were allowed to access the appartement around midday. At the check in we were informed that the hotel cannot provide a baby bed since it was against the hotel covid protocol (we stayed in 2 hotels in Paris and Strasbourg few days before and we have been offered a baby bed). Straight away we considered cancelling the hotel since it is a safety risk to have a 3 months old baby in the parents bed. The staff were nice enough to make an exception and bring a crib that we set up ourselves. We accessed the flat and we were surprised that it was very basic and with a tiny window in the living room and the bedroom. The flat was dark and lacked light and air. This was not aligned with the photos in the website which showed a big window in the living room. We requested to change to another appartment but we have been told that the hotel is fully booked for the night and it’s actually an ‘advantage’ to have a small window since it’s going to be very hot. This is when we discovered that the appartements are not air conditioned. We found a spider in the bedroom, we called the receptionist to have it removed. The receptionist loughed and said it is normal to have spiders when you have windows. She recommended that we remove it ourselves. The bed was basic with basic matress and pillows. It was an uncomfortable night for all of us. The following day we requested to cancel the booking for the remaining nights and asked for a refund. This was accepted since we booked directly on the website with the flexible rate. The receptionists were not really interested to know the reason of the cancellation or take our feedback. I guess it was obvious we were not happy. I called the following day to ask if the refund was processed since I dis not see the refund coming through even after more than 24hours. I was told that the refund was processed and I have a receipt and that I need to be put on hold again since the receptionist was busy. Overall I think this is basic hotel, the appartement we have been given (1 bedroom) was dark, miserable and not as clean as we expected. Regarding the price this place is definetly overrated and we could find much better place for lower price. I would not recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, with great wine bar conveniently located at the brink of the "Grande-Île". 3min walk to Place Kleber, about 10min walk to the cathedral. Lot's of restaurants in the neighborhood. Comprehensive continental breakfast. You're getting a significant discount for parking in the nearby "Indigo Kléber" (located Place de l’Homme de Fer). So first drop your car at the parking lot, present the ticket to the receptionist at the hotel and he will hand out a discounted ticket (roughly 50%). Rooms are split in two catagories: facing the back yard: very quite. Facing the street: very noisy, the whole night long. We've been in luck staying in one of the quite rooms. However our friends got one of the rooms facing the street having a terribly noisy night. And like in a lot of other hotels: no power outlets for your charging devices. You've got to crawl on the floor, pulling out power chords from unneeded stuff to get your gears charged.

The staff were very friendly and responsive. Although it was a hot time, it was a hotel where we recommended a cold drink at check-in and a copy of a Japanese newspaper when going to breakfast. I booked a room for 3 people, so the quality of the auxiliary bed is a problem, but the bed here was good with no uncomfortable elements. However, the number of towels is quite small and the number is slightly smaller. Breakfast was almost the same in Europe, and the vegetables were only cucumbers and tomatoes, but they were all delicious with ham, eggs and cheese. It is close to the station, and you can walk to sightseeing spots, so it was a safe place, so you can stay next time.

Compared to the ibis and other hotels near the train station, this price is not so high. This is more than one kilometer from the railway station. In fact, there are several mercures along the way. But this is recommended by Ctrip. The advantage is that he is in the city center, next to the Spring Department Store, and the lV shop. Shopping is convenient. But the service is not as good as the previous ibis.

Conveniently located across the train station, this hotel was a great base to explore Strasbourg and Colmar during Christmas. Check-in was super quick, and the front desk staff was very attentive and answered any questions we had. COVID-19 protocols were strict, which was very positive. The room was a standard IBIS room, so nothing spectacular to write about, but still served its purpose and didn’t come with any surprises. Check-out was again fast, and walking across the street to get on our train for our next destination was priceless.

The hotel is about 700 meters from the train station, and it takes only 15 minutes to walk with Apple's own navigation. It is two kilometers away from the shopping mall. It is very convenient. The bed is a large bed. This is good because many European hotels are small beds of 80 cm. This bed is 1.5 meters. There are parking spaces. I didn't buy breakfast. It costs 10 euros to eat alone.

Our family, 2 adults and 2 kids, stayed here for one night on our trip to Strasbourg. The room was plenty big enough for our family. We had a large balcony as well, which was nice! Breakfast was included with the room and we even had it delivered to our room free of charge. The location was good. It was a little ways outside the city, but it is right next to a fantastic park. The Orangery Park was beautiful. We walked around with kids for several hours and had a great time.

The rooms are really cozy and beautifully furnished and they are VERY well cleaned. There are however a few (little) things you do not expect from a 4 stars hotel: for once, our two rooms did not have a proper shower. We had in fact two rooms on the last floor, just beneath the roofs and they had only a bathtub in which you must sit in order to be able to use the shower...it is ok for younger people but for elder people who expect the confort of a four stars hotel it can be a bit unconfortable. I do not know if all rooms are the same though. What I did missed was a little fridge to store some of the food we bought (not such a terrible thing, but something you do expect in a 4 stars hotel). The whole staff is extremely kind and always ready to help. In the evening, though, there is only one single person who needs to both hold the reception, take care of the bar and of any potential customers who wish to eat something small. It sometimes seemed like too much work for one person alone. Lastly, the hotel is certainly not located any close to the city centre. Walking fast you indeed can reach the cathedral in about 15 minutes but the area of the hotel is clearly a suburban area and the road that gets to the centre can appear quite long to elderly people.

Free parking on the roadside, there is a police station next to it, don't worry about someone smashing the window. Beside the high speed, it is convenient to drive by yourself. The front desk of the hotel worked very well and helped us to see the parking location. The fly in the ointment is that there is no refrigerator in the room, and there is no disposable toiletries.

The hotel itself is very well located. 5 minutes to the old town of Strasbourg. Staff at the reception was very helpful and recommended very nice restaurants. It is conveniently located halfway between the station and Petite France, rooms are minuscule with bathrooms 1x1 meters, bed is confortable and the room has only one plug to charge whatever you need. The people at the reception or at least the man who checked me in, not exactly the most welcoming type of this world. The brakfast room is okay if you get at 7 am. Later it gets messy as the lady that should take care of cleaning the tables is not the most efficient of this world. This happend two days in a row, with also coffee machine having repeated problems. It is an hotel managed in a very cost saving way, it is not expensive though , you really get what you pay for, or even less

I had expected great things from my week long visit. The hotel looks amazing in the photos and on arrival, that opinion remains. We did arrive on an unseasonably hot day for October and the reception was baking hot. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and my comments are not aimed at them. In fact the staff went out of their way to help us when there was a problem with the reservation payment. Therefore, the team at Nemea are 10/10 and then some. Sadly the rooms are definitely not. As mentioned in other reviews, the building was built on a budget. There is absolutely no ventilation system although the windows do open. Unfortunately, the hotel is right next to a 4 lane transit road into central Strasbourg and therefore the traffic noise is horrendous and incessant. I could hear the music being played inside the vehicles despite being on the 4th floor. They do provide an electric fan but with the build up of heat due to the poor quality building, it is ineffective and about as powerful as a small child trying to blow out reigniting candles!! Honestly, I have never experienced such awful temperatures in a hotel and this was mid October. Another negative point is that there isn't any free parking. It is 8 Euros per day and the alternative is to try and find a space down local side streets. This appears out of balance with the budget cost. I'll never stay there again and it is a shame because the rooms are well designed.

After much research, I chose Hotel Les Haras and it did not disappoint. A gorgeous walk through Petite France to the major sites of Strasbourg, alternatively you can follow the canal and make your way to the old town. Pros Breakfast was abundant, great service and a modest but good sized room for France. Cons The shower door was more decorative than functional so expect a flooded bathroom and ask for extra towels. The breakfast area (which transformed into a bar in the evening) lacked atmosphere. Unfortunately our room service was also served cold. We indulged a little during our trip! Some recommendations include: 1741 Maison Kammerzell And the hotel brasserie is also highly recommended although note it is technically not affiliated with the hotel. The Christmas markets at Strasbourg were a let down. There are some small French villages nearby which are much more worthwhile - such as Kayserberg and Obernai for a fairytale-like Christmas experience.

There was no smile at the front desk when I checked in, and the corridor was very narrow and the room was small and the impression was average. Later, I found that it was quite good. The price is really high. The small lobby always has hot tea and snacks. The front desk is very patient in answering questions. Especially the man who didn’t smile when he checked in on the first day was actually very Professional and very welcoming, the recommended places to visit are very worthwhile, because Strasbourg has come to work without doing any homework, and it is very pleasant to meet such a recommendation. Go to the breakfast restaurant to buy a cup of coffee, the waiter is very nice to say that it is provided free of charge, just drink, do not pay. The hotel walks to the train station and walks for 12 minutes without luggage. Drag the suitcase for a few minutes. It is within walking distance of all the old town attractions.

We arrived at 1 am, after a 19 hour bus ride and we were 24 students and three adults. Soon, we understand that there was a problem with the number of rooms. Apparantly, there were one singel room to few available. We asked them to fix the problem in some way, because it was late, and we really just wanted to go to bed and we didnt feel like sharing, since we could prove that we booke three singel rooms and that was what we wanted, one way or another. After some debate and discussion, and some half-hearted attempts of finding a room in another hotel (we are not sure, the porter spoke only in French when on the phone and was laughing a lot of the times) the portier simply put a key on the coubter and left us. Unbeleivable. We were abandoned, at 2 am, with the problem still unsolved. With all my years in the travel, this was singel handedly the worst service I have ever experience. No sense of service, responsibility or empathy to paying customers. Management should look into this and do something about it, so others wont be in our situation. Rooms = OK, but simple. Breakfast = Acceptable. Limited choice and nothing warm. Very good coffee!

We chose this hotel for the night before our morning train back to Paris. Although it's right across from the station, due to construction scaffolding, it was hard to actually find the front door. I stayed at Mercure Strasbourg Centre Petite France for one night, as I was rearranged from an ibis Styles (as the latter was closed due to COVID). The hotel is located really downtown, 4 minutes from the Train Station and about the same from the tram, which takes you pretty much everywhere in Strasbourg. The Old Town is a short walk away, and even having just a handful of hours in Strasbourg I was able to make the most of it. The staff spoke great English and were polite and welcoming, I got a glass of wine as a welcome drink (a good wine by the way). The room was very nice and clean (well, it could have used some update, but I can imagine that before COVID this hotel was packed and there was no time to do any cosmetic touches). For me the room was just great. I would like to complement the bed and the pillows, I slept like a baby. The breakfast was nice, though as I understand, due to the pandemic the breakfast menu was reduced substantially. All in all, highly recommended for a short stopover - I will not hesitate to be back as soon as I travel to Strasbourg.

For breakfast, there are croissants and two to three types of bread to choose from, coffee and other beverages are provided by the machine, and the juices include orange juice and apple juice. Generally speaking, it is very economical and affordable for an adult at six euros (half price for children under twelve years old). However, the quadruple room (one double bed + bunk bed) really has limited space for activities. There was no tea or coffee in the room, and no kettle, but the hotel staff was very kind and willing to give us hot water.
