Stayed here as a group of four friends for a 3 night stay. On arrival, was greated by the fabulous Rania. Like previous reviews have said she was kind polite and very helpful, just what you want after travelling. We were given room 1107, top floor. The room was fantastic, double bed in one area and 2 singles in another area, so comfy. Rainfall shower and deep bathtub with shower and a range of toiletries. Room had 2 tvs, iron and ironing board, nesspresso machine with supplies. The only thing I would say as four ladies doing hair and makeup, there wasn't any mirror near the plugs or any lights above the main mirror for makeup. Breakfast was self serve, a good range for all tastes. Luggage room was handy also. Number 2 tram stop outside which took about 20/30 mins to get to the centre. Would I stay here again....DEFINITELY!
The hotel is located outside the tourist area, a little remote, but close to the highway and exhibition hall RAI, walk to Tram, Metro, about 600 meters, 7 minutes. About 3 Metro stops to the exhibition hall. The hotel has a parking lot, and there are several community supermarkets around 500 meters away, which is quite convenient. The management of chain hotels is relatively standard, and the lobby design is quite simple and bright. The reception staff is very kind. The hotel room design will not feel cramped. The bathroom is clean and the bed is soft. Continental breakfast is on the first floor. Although there are not many types, hot food/scrambled eggs/croissants/fried bacon/salad/juice/coffee is rich and delicious. It is worth staying.
The location of the hotel is good. It is about a minute walk from the tram stop (No. 17), but the location is not in the city center, and it is quite convenient to take the tram. The service staff is very good and provide a lot of assistance. The breakfast provided by the hotel is also good, with a variety of drinks and bread. Since we only have one day of accommodation, we asked if we could leave our luggage when we checked out, and the hotel would be happy to help provide space for us! This is great! No need to run around with your luggage! It ’s just that some of the hot water bottles in the room do n’t work, and the bathroom hair dryers do n’t work either. But overall the price is very high! Cheap and convenient! If you come to Amsterdam next time, you should still stay here! Pretty recommended! The room is quite big overall!
I have stayed at this hotel more than 5 times! I chose it because it was cheaper. If it is not in the city, it is not far away. About 10 minutes walking distance from lelylaan or the station. One stop to the airport and two stops from Central Station. There is a tram stop 5 minutes walk to the city. The supermarket is far away, and there is a small supermarket in the train station. If you want to find a big supermarket, you can take the tram to the downtown area, or walk for another 5 minutes at the train station. There are two supermarkets over there.
The room is a domestic 3-star standard. If you have a limited budget and don't want to stay in a hostel, come here!
This hotel is in the suburbs. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the nearest tram station. There are 1 roads 11 and 17 and you can take a 20-minute bus ride to leideseplein, which is the place where the city center can walk to the museum area. You can also take the 17th road for about 30 minutes and sit directly at the central station area. Hotel breakfast is good. The surrounding area is a bit ridiculous, basically nothing. The room was small and the two suitcases were full.
The Met Hotel Amsterdam was recently opened in 2020, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Amsterdam. The hotel is conveniently located just 800m from Amstel Train Station and 14km from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Just a short walk from Postjesweg Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. With Bert Meinen Routing, Leo Braat Three Tile Boards and De Appel Arts Centre all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent.

Conveniences include coffee/tea makers, housekeeping is provided daily, and irons/ironing boards can be requested. Dining A complimentary continental breakfast is served daily. Business, Other Amenities The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Stayed at this hotel for 5 days, to be honest, not very satisfied. First of all, the hygiene is not cleaned. Secondly, the supply of coffee and tea in the room is very untimely. Thirdly, it is too far away from the city. We take the children, walk 10 minutes to the station, take the tram for 40 minutes. center. Of course, the hotel has a bus to sit in, 15 minutes to get to the city, but only from Friday to Sunday, if you don't go there on weekends, it is really painful. Downstairs restaurant dinner we visited 3 times, not bad, because the overall price of Amsterdam is high, so dinner at the hotel restaurant is a good choice. But the breakfast is even, a person 15 euros, too expensive, not worth it, not as good as the supermarket to buy some snacks in the morning. There is a kettle and a fridge in the room, and families with children and those who like to clean can choose at their discretion.
Stayed here mid-March on a random weekday trip to Amsterdam with my partner. We booked through a third party weekend trip company so didnt chose this hotel personally. On arrival woman at reception was super friendly & let us store our luggage until it was time to check in. Hotel is basic but fairly clean so just what's needed if you're out exploring the city all day every day and need somewhere to sleep. First out of both nights our bed was remade and towels changed however they only brought one not two.. Also make member of receptionist wasnt the most helpful when we struggled with our change for the vending machine. Overall, a pleasant stay here at the Hotel. Location wise - the hotel is around a 35 minute walk into the centre of the city (Dam Square etc) or there is a tram you can catch too that takes about 15 minutes!

The location is excellent, which is at the intersection of two small rivers. If you live in a room at corners, you can watch the sunset through the floor-to-ceiling windows. There is a playground next to it. If you get up early in the morning, you can run on the playground or walk along the river. It's seven or eight minutes' walk from the subway station.
The apartment was clean and fully equipped with everything you would need such as a fully stocked kitchen and even toothbrushes and toothpaste in the bathroom. Comfortable bed and sofa also. The staff were friendly and answered any questions we had. They are in a prime location less than 10 minutes walk from Centraal Station which has all the transport links to the rest of the city. The blinds in the room were a bit too light and didn't really block out much light in the mornings. Blackout blinds would be better. Windows couldnt be opened either but there was air conditioning so the room could be properly ventilated. Would definetely come back on my next trip to Amsterdam.
Although the Chinese are in business, they have not taken into account the Chinese. The breakfast is pure European style, the bathroom is too small, there are no washing supplies, not even a glass cup. We often travel on business, and we will bring personal items, but we did not expect to bring cup. Wanting to sing a sip of water, the waiter said to turn on the tap and drink it by himself. But the wash basin was too small, and my mouth couldn't get water. I want to rent a car. The hotel cannot provide any business cards. I hope the hotel can improve and support the Chinese operation as a Chinese. It's best to add one boiled water and two glasses
Staying in Amadi for three nights, a very good experience, first of all, the hotel security makes you feel at ease, the second room is very big, it is a real big bed, the bathroom facilities are excellent, the shower is big, and there is a free coffee bag in the room. The tea bag and the beer drink water in the small refrigerator are also free. The third view is first-class. The sea can be seen from the room. It is very eye-catching. The fourth service is good. The front desk is patient and thoughtful. There is a feeling of going home, the fifth traffic. It is very convenient to get to the hotel from the train station on the 26th tram line. Yes, there is free fruit at the front desk every afternoon. It is a Western meal for breakfast.
Very nice hotel, very good location, very close to Dam Square, red light district, railway station, European hotel rooms are generally small, but this hotel can be said to be a big room in Europe, gave me an accident Surprise!
Self check-in and check-out are available. But there was also a staff member sitting there during working hours. The surrounding environment is good. You can see it from the subway. Opposite is a home theater. There is a lidl next to the commercial street.
Location location location! But with that in mind know that you were in the heart of Amsterdam on a very busy Square and if you’re room faces the square it will be fairly loud at night. Some nights until one or 2 o’clock in the morning. The stairs were very steep, it is Amsterdam after all, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The walls are thin but the rooms were relatively clean. For younger folks down there to have a good time and then late nights out, it’s perfect! For old codgers like me who don’t want to walk up several flights of ladder type stairs… Find a place with a lift
I have lived in other NHs and the impressions are quite good. This time, I have specially set up three people to increase the room. When I enter the room, I am very disappointed. Isn't this our seven-day hotel chain in China? It’s still awkward than Hanting’s ~275 Euro~ probably because of the disappointment of Giethoorn during the day, because of the disappointment of this nh hotel, I was most disappointed with the European trip to Amsterdam, and I don’t want to go anymore.
As other reviewers have mentioned, this hotel is in a shared building with another hotel & residential units, but it’s not at all inconvenient or hard to find. The reception provides free water for your room (a refillable tap) and the staff was very helpful with recommendations and also super friendly! The rooms were very clean, lovely wood floors, comfortable beds & great showers. Food, drinks & shops all within walking distance & it’s about a 15 minute walk into the central part of Amsterdam. Unfortunately, there were many restrictions due to Covid while we were there, but having a comfortable room with a helpful front desk staff made it much more bearable!
The hotel is an American Hampton. The rooms marked by Europe are large, comfortable and tidy, and the service is very good. The transportation is relatively convenient. It is very convenient to the railway station, the city center and tourist attractions (about 2 miles to the central station). After crossing the railway bridge in the front left, there are many restaurants. You can walk to the supermarket for 10 minutes, and it is convenient to buy food and fruits. Recommended!
The service at this hotel is five star even though it’s probably a three star hotel; the staff at the reception area are incredibly helpful. The owners of this hotel need to find a way to bottle the service provided by the receptionist because if they can do that they could make billions. The apartments are absolutely wonderful and the beds are Sublime
Stayed here with family, renting a studio and two suites. All rooms were beautifully decorated and with great amenities. Super comfortable beds and fabulous rainfall showers. The area is gorgeous, with tons to see and do just a short walk away. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely try to book in for my next Amsterdam trip! Hoping to be back sometime soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
We had a magnificent stay at De ware Jacob Hotel with a family of five at the end of 2020. With the Covid restrictions it was not easy to travel around, but nonetheless we decided to spend a weekend in Amsterdam benefitting from the beauty of the city with fewer tourists at this moment in time. This Hotel was recommended to us as a cosy newly renovated boutique hotel at the heart of the Museum District, and the price was really good, so we were not disappointed. Our stay was even more memorable than expected. We were received by the very friendly owner and treated with a glass of Cava. The suites and the family rooms were very nice and spacious, we also benefitted from an upgrade, which was a nice gesture. A nice sushi dinner was delivered from a nearby restaurant and we enjoyed it in the lounge with a nice restaurant ambiance. We were pleasantly shocked to be given the variety of Georgian natural wines tasting by the host, something we never tried before, accompanied by the delicious strawberry covered in chocolate. Fantastic!! Breakfast was nicely presented, had nice selection and we were also offered a glass of Prosecco to start the day, but instead decided to swap it for extra cappuccinos and a homemade cake on the house. The city itself was delightful, being not so crowded as usual. We really enjoyed walking in the nearby park. Also went to The Red Light district which was absolutely empty, something unforgettable and special!!! It was indeed a very pleasant break in beautiful Amsterdam.
The hotel is very close to the train station. The first time I ran to another ibis, this is the ibis style hotel. But this is closer to the business district. In fact, the two ibis are about 3 minutes walk. The hotel room is very small, basically can only open the big suitcase checked in the bed, maybe the hotel in Amsterdam is so big. The hotel breakfast is OK, the breakfast of each hotel is similar. Bustling commercial street, pedestrian street is on the edge, shopping is very convenient
We stayed at the hotel in Slottermeelan for 3 nights. Our first impression was not great. The hotel is drop dead ugly and quit unkempt outside with people sitting around on the steps and the front door locked. Once you get inside things feel somewhat better and the staff are really lovely and helpful. The rooms are a little tired and the small pillows are weird but provide everything one would need. Coffee is left but there is no food at the hotel and is is a no alcohol place which I presumed was due to it being in the Turkish quarter. The area is not the best with little to do and you would not go back to the hotel and then go out for dinner nearby as there isn't a viable option if you want a vino with your meal. A short walk from trams into Amsterdam centre and the nearby bus is very easy for getting to the airport and much cheaper than a taxi. Overall impression is OK due more to the lovely staff than anything else.
The hotel is in a good location, less than 10 minutes' walk from Sloterdijk station, and there is a small supermarket nearby, but there are fewer restaurants nearby because of the new district, and it is very convenient to go to the windmill village and the city center. We booked a triple room. The room was quite large and provided free tea bags and an electric kettle. The water bar in the hotel lobby also had free coffee milk hot water. Shower gel shampoo body milk shower cap provided, toothbrush slippers not provided. The shortcoming is that the room is not powered without a card, the heating is not running, and the heating is installed on it, and the warm air has not come down, but we stayed for one night and the quilt was relatively warm, so we did not find the hotel front desk.
Great hotel, stylish design and peaceful, quiet and private pods. Easy to get to train station (few minutes walk) that takes you straight to Amsterdam Centraal in one stop. Nice bar and restaurant. If you are not going to stay there, still go for a drink or something to eat!
Just not worth it at this time. Dissapointed, entrance felt good but its really small and packed. Room had no geeky feeling only one painting of batman.. thin walls and bad lightning in the (bath)room, lightning was only a RGB strip in the bathroom so not able to see anything in it. Got two consoles in the room but only could use one because the other one did sound like it was going to explode, told the staff but no response back. Staff-team felt stressed out and were complaining to other members in front of the guests. No welcoming at check-in nor showing around the hotel or things to do in Amsterdam. Only saw the entrance of the arcade room and felt like a 5 by 3 meter long. Didn't went inside it. No pc room because it was closed while actually payed for this at booking as well as the arcade room it self. They showed a VR set on the picture but haven't seen any VR stuff at all. Breakfast felt lacking. No ham, cheese, chicken or baked buns only one piece of fruit, a small snack and 2 crossaints. Coffee (Was really bitter) and thee you had to go downstairs for and as a gamer it would be really nice to have something to drink in your room. Also no fridge or anything to store snacks or keep drinks cool. Payed for breakfast at booking but only got it once out of the two times we should've got it so that was a waste of money... Bar was really small no place to sit down. There was only one place but there was a meeting going on and the gaming places were full with two famillies playing games downstairs. They had 2 cats tho which was nice. For games in your room you have to go downstairs and get one every single time and as a lazy gamer it would've been better if you had some games on or with your console. Also found tissues on the floor next to the bed that were used from the people before us in the hotel room.
A great hotel for a trip to the Netherlands First of all, the front desk staff is really very warm and the service is excellent. Even if I can't send a train ticket to their official email, the staff still try to help me try the final successful print. Overall hygiene is very clean and tidy Go to the supermarket every day to buy It is recommended to buy day tickets for travel tram19 metro51 20-30 minutes Day tickets can be purchased from ako shop in sloterdijk or blue machine supermarket to albert heijin
A hotel with a venerable tradition, a building with roots in the early twentieth century, and wonderfully modern amenities. One of a kind, overlooking the ravishing Prinsengracht canal. A short walk to the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh -- great cafes and restaurants all around (try Black across the canal)!
Everything went not just "as planned" but BETTER than planned with our stay at this hotel. Check-in was smooth and so helpful in showing us the ropes. Our room was the best in our many day trip to Europe. The breakfast buffet made getting up in the morning something to look forward to (I can taste the breads right now!) Thanks for the easy access to the center of the city (bus #22) and great tips on how to navigate.
I never wrote negative review about any hotels I have stayed in the past but this hotel is the worst one which I must inform others travellers. We booked a canal facing double room in the month of March before covid19 pandemic started unfortunately we were not able to travel due to lockdown so we politely ask hotel by email if we could extend another date or if that's not possible cancel our reservation & ask for voucher but hotel seems never replied back even we have been trying call the hotel few days before travelling but no one responded our calls so finally after tried calling the hotel get through a person who pretend not to be the manager ask us call back not really helpful at all. So we had no other option to cancel our reservation & waited for receiving the balance money after calculation fees deducted but the hotel never refunded back any amount in fact they blame us for the cancellation. I think this hotel does not care about their customer only interested customer money when everyone suffering this pandemic it's really sad to loose money for nothing that we could not even stayed Beware of this hotel if booked via booking.com no free cancellation any circumstances customer faced hotel staff does not replied or don't send full refunds
Set a four-person room, a large bed with two single beds, a bunk bed. In the basement, the hotel is not bad, there is no slippers, a kettle, and there is a socket that can be directly charged without conversion. The hotel reception staff are very nice and can buy bus tickets at the front desk. The hotel is strategically located, not far from the Van Gogh Museum and the tram platform, with parking at the door. There are several kindergartens around, and the children and the local children are very happy.
The location is really very good, convenient from anywhere, the hotel is small, but understandable, the location in the city center, everything is worth it, there is a chance to come to the Netherlands again, it is really a man ’s paradise
This was my second visit to the Moxy Amsterdam and surely not the last. After visiting many properties around Europe, I can say this property is definitely my favourite one. The facilities follow a typical Moxy layout, but there are some special details that turn the Moxy Amsterdam way more special. The pool is amazing, the gym could be located at any 5-star hotel and the breakfast is top notch. I loved to have the breakfast at the upper level with great views to Amsterdam. The natural light is incredible. However, the true secret of this hotel is its Team (as any other good hotel!). The very well trained Moxy Crew went above and beyond to make sure my best friend would have a great birthday celebration - and they prepared our bedroom in a very Moxy way. Congratulations to all the Moxy Crew and its Captain for taking the guest experience to the next level! And thank you very much for the great time!
The breakfast was good, the hotel was clean and quiet, and the living experience was good. The twin room we stayed in had to say that the size of the house was small, but it was the case in Europe. Hotel location is very good, about 15 minutes walk from the train station, all kinds of dining downstairs, very close to the city attractions. Overall, good, recommended.
Hotel location is good: take a tram + boat out of the airport to the hotel.
Checked in on January 1. The original basic double room was full, and the reception was upgraded for free with a river view double room. The price is really high. The checkin service was good, recommended the restaurant and helped make an appointment. Bring in the room and introduce the facility.
The ground floor is a bar and table football, 🏓️ or something.
Stayed for two days, the adam look on the roof did not go, it was too cold. The highest swing in Europe, try it later!
The room has a mirror and is cleverly designed to make the room feel a third larger. The room is also new and the bathroom is clean.
The vinyl record player in the room & the elevator with disco ball is my favorite! Retro & romantic.
Recommended for couples ⭐️
This is a great hotel but you need to be sure to get the right room. I was fortunate to have a large room at the front of the building which was lovely. Bathroom was bit dark but the bed was large and very comfortable. I loved the surrounding area (behind hotel). Lots of local restaurants, supermarkets, cafes etc. So do go for a wander around the neighborhood. Breakfast was included and was very good. Overall a good stay.
