Went there and selected the family room which has two double beds and a big bathroom. It was perfect for us. Then we took dinner in hotel's restaurant, the food was also fine there..Hotel was clean and has the parking ..in whole we got what we wanted at that time .. had a sound sleep there and checked out in morning. Can recommend this hotel.. if I visit almora next time I will definitely stay there :)

> Room: Rooms are spacious enough with details and pain taken to focus and bring life to every corner or rooms. A+ for the interiors. The Hallway is beautifully decorated with lights and paintings which leads to mesmerizing view of hills. > Staff: Staff was very helpful. Reach at odd times and they are ready to serve you (considering early morning routines of hills). There was some issues with toilet smell in bathrooms, but they somehow ***aged to sway it away > Location: its located on Almora-Ranikhet road. The google maps shows it in middle of city. This was something which made us question the hotel, but after reaching and seeing the rooms, every complaint just faded. > room service available (we were mostly just having tea here) > Having roots from Almora, i visit there once a year. Hotel Rooms at Almora are not what one would call Hotel, they are more of kind of stay (i wouldn't say much). but this place changed this picture for me. > Definitely going to stay here on my next visit

On way to Muniyari, we dropped in at Hotel Pitamber for a few hours to break our journey and rest. We freshened up and had breakfast in our room. Food was average but the service was quick. The rooms have their own balcony and most of the rooms have a good view outside, facing the mall road and the mountain ranges in distance. One can spend his entire time sitting in the balcony and enjoy the sun.

Hotel Shikhar is situated in the heart of Almora and due to the location it helps you feel the town, the people and with the view the terraces offers, the Himalayas too. It is close to the local market, a walk through which is also fascinating. What I found interestingly unusual was the hotel being multi floored, and as you enter the hotel reception through the main entrance, you don't realise that this is the sixth floor and to reach your room you will have to take an elevator to third or fourth floor, downstairs. The rooms are nice and airy, washrooms could be better. Sitting in the balcony watching the sunset/ sunrise is a soothing experience. The restaurant is decent. Although not very glamorous but overall, it is worth the price.

We stayed in the Elite room which was decently good and comfortable. My wife is very particular about a clean room and washroom and she did not complain much about this place. The hotel is 2 mins walk from the towns main Mall road with small shops and cafes etc. It has a parking within the building and staff is friendly. The best thing about this hotel is the view from the bedrooms - amazing view of the valey below and the snow peaks beyond...

The bedsheet was terribly dirty, I had to ask the hotel staff to get it changed as soon as we checked in, that at 9pm ! It was one of those cold nights, we asked for room heater. We were told that the heater comes at an extra cost of RS.300/night and there's no guarantee that the blower will throw hot air ! Funny, but true. The room given to us was in level 2 ( First floor , as referred in India) but there's no elevator. The bathroom had bare minimum aminities, though it was clean. The water was lukewarm in the morning, fit enough for a bath. The hotel is bang on the bazar street, has some place to park a few cars of the guest. The hotel's front desk could not pull up the reservation by first name or last name, they wanted to see my booking confirmation from the travel portal. The charging points were very limited, couldn't charge more than 2 devices simultaneously. Among the few positives are the quick service by the hotel's staff and they were always willing to help. And, the dal-sabzi in dinner was decent and tasty. Overall, not worth the money spent.

I reached Imperial heights binsar on 23/10/2020. I checked out on 26/10/2020. My family had a really memorable stay here. I would like to elaborate every aspect of my experience here. I was in contact with Prashant Pandey ji since the time I booked 2 Imperial King size rooms. He helped me with all the formalities. For reaching Uttarakhand in this Corona virus crisis , you have to fill an application form on Smart city dehradun portal. He helped me while filling the form. I requested him for proper sanitisation/hygiene of the rooms and appropriate lightings in the rooms. He and his staff took care of all my requested needs with utmost care and patience. Coming to rooms,it is one of the best I had ever stayed in my life. We had a really peaceful stay. The interiors of Imperial King size room is really impressive and one of its kind. Almora city was looking stunning from the rooms. Rooms are well maintained. They have well maintained lawns and gardens. Restaurant is really beautiful and well maintained. The sunset view from this resort is mesmerizing. Coming to food, it's wow. Absolutely outstanding. My family is an avid non vegetarian and we were treated with one of the best cuisine and flavors. One should must try chicken seekh kebab, tawa fish marinate , kadhai chicken and kumaon mutton Curry while staying here. Even vegetarian food was also very good. Simple veggies and dal fry was giving me a feeling of my home cooked food. I had chilli paneer and it's one of the best I had ever tasted till date. Hats off to the chef and his team. I celebrated birthday of my sister and father here. I requested Prashant ji for arranging a cake. He even arranged it on time. My family had a really amazing and memorable time while staying there. I am thankful to Prashant ji and his staff for taking care of me and my family so well. Prashant ji is really such a well natured, humble, polite and kind person. He listens to every kind of feedbacks with all patience. My family and my driver kept talking about him till the time we reached back to Ghaziabad. It's like when you meet someone for the first time but you remember the good nature of that person for a very very long time, Prashant ji is that kind of a person. All the best to him for the future. God bless. I will love to come back here again in future if I ever have a plan to visit Almora again.

The approach road was bit iffy and while I had read about it I was advised its doable and so we decided to try it. It was bit tough but is doable by any car (we went before the rains). The place is bit off the way so is not that touristy and hence quiet and nice. Once there you only have the option to eat there as there is not much in the vicinity. Parking has ample place in the open. The rooms are a bit of a walk into the woods and at times monkey/langurs can cause some fear if you do not want them jumping over your head. My biggest problem however was the thousands of centipedes crawling all over the place and entering the rooms despite everythign you do. It used to creep me out, especially if there are like dozen of them in the room near your shoes and luggage and bed. That aside the property has some steps so not for elderly if you have mobility issues. I dont blame the hotel for the centipedes as it's right in the jungle and next to orchards where you can pluck fresh plums but if that could be sorted and factored out it was a great experience. In the wilderness, fresh air, great views (especially in the morning). I even spotted a free running deer in the wild not far from the property. They also have a small place to play badminton and an indoor games room and a small cozy library. Thanks to the folks at the hotel they told us not to take a route advised by Google as it was in bad shape when we went. It added several kms but at least we were not stuck midway. They also had a couple of folks trying to sell us time share package for the Amode group which made us bit uncomfortable though they were just doing their job.

While traveling through Uttrakhand I decided to halt at Kasar Devi but had no booking made for the night. I just dropped into this place and got a room with a special off season discount. The resort endears you at the very first glance. The place is full of beautiful plants and creepers in the lobby and open restaurant area. The use of natural materials like wood, stone and bamboo etc give a very earthly and soulful feel. The open restaurant has a majestic view of Kumaon hills and behind that Himalayas are also visible on a clear-sky day. The rooms are well appointed and have wooden floor, wooden roof and well matched curtains in 3 beautiful natural shades. The special balcony overlooking the hills is the best place to have morning tea and quietly enjoy the view of majestic mountains. The owner Mr Mohan Rayal is extremely passionate about the hospitality business. He has laid special emphasis on quality of food. As a result food is also outstanding just like the property. The service of the staff is top notch 10/10 for service and food. My advice to fellow travelers is that if you are in Uttrakhand, take a detour and make it a point to stay here and visit the very important Kasar Devi temple which is considered most powerful temple of Ma Durga. Btw Swami Vivekananda meditated at this temple in September 1890 and got his illumination here.

Starting from our interaction with the promoter Mr. ***oj at the time of booking, we reckoned that this is going to be a sweetly memorable trip. Honest answers to all queries and a highly cooperative attitude was very much evident. We were a group of 5 people (My mother, my wife, our kids and myself). At the last minute, the evening before we were to travel, there was an addition of two people in the entourage. Despite being the holiday season, ***oj readily accepted to accommodate all of us. After a tiring 10+ hour journey from Gurgaon, the first sight of the hotel was very relaxing. From the moment we stepped in till when we left, the staff ensured that each of us was taken care of whether it was a senior citizen or a 6 year old child. ***oj was kind enough to give us an additional room to make us comfortable. The rooms were nice, cosy and well appointed. After a round of tea and pakodas, we inquired about the sunset. ***oj promptly lined up one of his people to accompany us to an appropriate point. Bonfire followed by dinner was a good experience. We go to interact with the other guests over the bonfire. Next morning we got up at Dawn to watch the rising sun. The terrace at the Resort offers an incredible view of the snow clad peaks- Nandaghunti, Trishul, Mrigthuni and Nanda Devi were right their before our eyes, bathed in the golden glow of the morning sun. We had no pre planned schedule for our trip. Next day morning, ***oj helped us plan out our schedule. During our conversations, we figured that he is an avid birder as well. Two days passed of well. We visited various places around Mukteshwar, visited Jageshwar dham, which was a tiring but fulfilling journey. Evenings were spent relaxing at the resort. ***oj again made sure that we had a great time listening to his anecdotes. He spent nearly two hours with us one of the mornings pointing out and telling us about the abundant flying beauties that visited the resort and the surrounding area. Icing on the cake: During one of our conversations, ***oj figured that we loved wild life and forests. So, saving the best for the last, he offered to take us for a night drive through the forest! But obviously, we jumped at the offer. What an amazing experience it was! We only located a few deers and an owl, but the experience of being in a forest at night was truly memorable. The silence as well as the sounds of the forest the pitch dark surroundings- you never know what might be standing right next to you! It was an indescribable feeling. Something we will remember for a long time to come. The morning we were to leave, we had a nice breakfast. The biling process was quick and smooth. There was nothing on the bill, which was unreasonable, rather I would say ***oj was very kind. To summarise, I would say visit Frozen wood Resorts for: 1. The hospitality- ***oj and his team are truly dedicated to making your stay as great as possible! I have not seen a promoter paying such attention to g

Tucked away in the forests of Binsar, Grand Oak ***or is like that perfect hideaway for a brief break from the hustle and bustle of city life. We spent two nights at this amazing property with an old-world charm. We had the one of the best stays so far, considering we take very frequent trips and vacations short and long with at-least three every year. We had taken a chauffeur driven cab which goes till a certain point (Simba Café) and the pickup vehicle from the hotel was there which took us to the property. Positives: a. The views from mountain view rooms are to die for. Beautifully done up rooms with old styled furniture, a mock fireplace and perfect lighting b. Spacious and grand balcony with each mountain view room c. Excellent hospitality – every personnel in the ***or was very warm, and made us feel at home d. Curated dinner menu – nothing short of fine dining experience with a customised menu sheet e. Awesome food – we tried Kumaoni, North Indian and continental spreads Negatives: Nothing, really Tips: a. You’ll get only Airtel network here, but they have Wi-Fi. b. Do not miss watching the beautiful sunset from this property. c. Hit the huge lounge with cosy corners for reading. They have some really great books for you to pick up if you forgot to carry one. d. Try the mountain view rooms facing valley, they come with the best views (for example, rooms 302, 303). e. The trek to Zero Point is nice and worth taking, and our guide Hemjoshi was friendly and informative.

However, in India, it is normal dinner. You can go to the opposite side of the bridge to eat the buffet. You can also walk around the small supermarket for five or six minutes and take a taxi for half an hour at the hotel. You can go to the Palace of Winds JP Station and the airport to estimate a 45-minute drive to Amber Fort.

This hotel in India is the perfect hotel. I visited the pink castle of 3,000 nights, but the experience is even better, but I am particularly sorry. After checking out with a bottle of room water to drink at the airport, my husband and I have appeared. Severe diarrhea, I think there is no problem with breakfast. I finally thought that this bottle of water is a problem. I haven’t relieved if I have taken the medicine. If I can’t go to the doctor tomorrow, I suggest that the baby with weak stomach will boil even if it is bottled. Well, I have never had enteritis in ten years, but this time it is too serious, but this does not affect this hotel is still my favorite in India, service is supreme, if there is a chance to go, I will still choose here!

I stayed at this hotel for four nights. Some rooms were not very good. I found that the machine was roaring at night and couldn’t sleep. I changed the room in the middle of the night and tossed it for a long time. The bed in the double room is very small, it will fall off when you turn over, and you can't sleep well at night. The room in the big bed is OK, but his bed is a bit too soft, and people who are not used to it are estimated to be uncomfortable sleeping. Fortunately, the hotel's overall service is relatively good, but the gastrointestinal bacteria infection in India pulled out of the hotel to ask if there is no medicine or know where the pharmacy is, the hotel can not provide any help, let me own Google map. Fortunately, the owner of a kuhu restaurant and hotel nearby bought me a drug and confiscate the service fee.

We visited the resort for my birthday and ohh boy so glad we chose this beautiful resort for our day. From the check-in to the checkout everything was smooth. The tikka on arrival made things special from the moment we enter the resort. We chose a Swiss tent which was spacious and comfort however the only negative point that I would like to point is that the sitting outside the tent area is uncomfortable. The chairs though matching the rustic look is quite uncomfortable and now will be the good time to upgrade them. Food is average good variety was there in buffet as we took all inclusive plan things would have been nop notch if only my dal baati request would have been granted but I guess the kitchen is over worked. My favourite part of the day would be breakfast which was sumptuous and breakfast area is by far the loveliest place I have seen with exotic birds flying around and squirrel catching my sight here and there and live flute music calming the soul. The evening shows like magic show and local folk dance was nice and kept the children occupied which was much needed for families with children. My 5 year old loved feeding there inhouse rabbits and ducks which were well kept. Activities areas is well kept with all basic activities however the ATV wasn't working which we wanted to ride. Camel ride and horse ride is a nice add on to there activities menu. Pool area was clean We happened to be there on holi, the resort arranged a nice holi party with gulal and water guns for the kids. The kids had a blast playing holi amidst dj music gulal and water. Overall lovely stay. Would recommend every one to stay there. Regards, Kimmi gupta

The itc hotel under the Marriott Group is only three or four hundred / night in the low season in July. Hand shake set the wrong date, the front desk said it can be refunded / rescheduled, and paid an extra day. When the time comes to reschedule, the front desk said it could not be changed. To be honest, Ctrip has done its best to submit a rescheduled application and sent me a screenshot. I showed it to the hotel front desk and they refused to reschedule. In the end, I figured out a way to solve the problem myself. Fortunately, I am not a tourist. I have time to wait for them to play the ball slowly. Booking through a third party requires an additional fee for using wifi, but it is not right for me to pay at the front desk to make a reservation. This is not right. After negotiation for a long time, they checked it and did not pay. But how to say, it ’s tiring to deal with group hotels like yours. It ’s okay to solve a little problem positively. It ’s boring to push one person to another: I have to ask xxx, I ’ll communicate with xxx ... How can you expect your customers to choose your group in the future?

This hotel is so perfect that the service environment has not been hanged to say 100. I have always thought that India is not good before I have been to India. India is totally different from what I imagined, the difference between heaven and earth! What I saw was not like the legendary and media reports! His culture and essence are really worth exploring. I remember Jobs said that if you want to do a big business and a boss, you must go to India for a while, so you can imagine! This hotel has been heard before, I heard that it is very difficult to order, but my friend recommended Dashan Tourism boss Dashan! All the arrangements for the hotel route guides in this trip to India are all arranged by the owner of Dashan! Hotel service was excellent! When I booked a full room at the Sheraton Four Seasons Suburban, the lobby manager offered me a free dinner (buffet dinner, rich, with Indian flying cakes, vegetable soup, milk, desserts, fruits, etc., which is very tasteful), and then drove me to a more luxurious Location, better downtown store (the downtown store was expensive when you booked the hotel, so you didn't choose), and handled the check-in and luggage collection throughout the service.
