|1.6km from city centerRated 5 star but no way. Was supposed to stay at Pullman Paris Montparnasse but was changed to La Defense. What a disappointment. Way outside Paris and needed to use Metro to go into the City. Chaotic check in and had to find our luggage and take to room ourselves. Safe in room broke and we were unable to retrieve our belongings. Engineer unable to open it so left to go on trip and when we returned the safe had been completely removed and no message left to inform us of this. Finally got belongings back. New safe put in room several hours later. Room needed updating. Decorating on 3rd floor. Marks on carpet. Cigarette burn on bedside table. Shower screen not fit for purpose. Breakfastgood but hectic.

|1.46km from city centerI’ve recently stayed at the property for 4 nights and checked out on 27 May. Front desk staff were friendly. The room is spacious. It is also less than 1 hr travelling distance to major shopping streets like champs élysées and major places of interest . This property is well equipped with a kitchenette whereby you can prepare your own meals . It has a laundry room for you to do your own laundry. Initially, I was unsure on how to operate and differentiate the washer and dryer as I m Asian and not used to European washing machine / dryer. Very much appreciated that the General manager of the property pasted labels to help guests differentiate between washer and dryer. As compared to previous Citadines property I’ve stayed with, fraser suites la Défense is definitely well worth the $$ spent. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends in Singapore. |0.57km from city centerThis will be a full experience review incl. transportation to and from the hotel and surrounding amenities. Taking a train from CDG to La Defense was fairly easy to decipher. We elected to walk to the hotel since we didn’t have a ton of luggage and it took about 45 minutes. Alternatively you can try taking a bud or the L train which can reduce your walking time to about 15 minutes. An Uber is about 20€. It is my first time staying at an Ibis hotel. Entry was a bit confusing given that there are two similarly named hotels next to each other. When we were greeted, it was done quickly and courteously. We did not opt for the available breakfast nor did we ever step foot in the attached restaurant as there are plenty of great places around. The reception area is small but still fairly trendy with modern style furnishings and work areas. Like the other French hotels we stayed at we were only given 1 access card. A second would have been nice. The room was small as most in Paris are, but you didn’t come to Paris to sit in your room. There was a small TV, an enclosed bathroom with a small toilet and small stand up shower. The hot water NEVER stopped and the water pressure was great. They cleaned and restocked the bathroom daily so you don’t have to worry about that. The bed was comfortable enough and can fit 2-3 people comfortably. There was also a small TV. Unfortunately we had a view of the apartments behind the hotel and not of the river. Would have been nice for or honeymoon but can’t complain too much. The walls are admittedly fairly thin as we couldn’t always hear what our neighbours were up to but sometimes you could hear louder TVs or the washrooms being used. Access to all our daily activities was easy. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby just across the bridge on the island. Keep in mind restaurants work a little differently in Paris, tips are usually included in the price of the meal and they close in between lunch and dinner. Dinner service starts at 7pm. Smoker? Enjoy cigars here and there? There’s a Tobacco shop on the island as well open from 8am-8pm. Further past the island there is a beautiful rich neighbourhood you can walk through with plenty of shops and greenery. La defense is essentially a main station and you can reach most if not all of the activities of the city from there. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again given it’s fair price, accessible location and quieter area.

|1.08km from city centerWe had two nights in Paris on our way back from our holiday in Provence. This hotel suited us well as there is parking on site (for a small extra charge) and it is only a few minutes' walk to La Defense metro station. Good local selection of restaurants in the evening. Rooms were hot but fans were provided. Beds were comfy. We had booked a family room with a double and twin beds but unfortunately that room was unavailable when we arrived - however as it was their mistake, the friendly receptionist was able to resolve this by giving us 2 rooms: one with two doubles and an additional double room for both nights at no extra cost. After we checked out and on our way home my son realised he had left one of his airpods in the room. We sent the hotel a message, they confirmed they had found it, then proceeded to arrange for it to be posted back to us in the UK for just the cost of the postage - amazingly it didn't even take too long to arrive. We were very impressed! Good service, nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff - we would definitely stay again.

|1.48km from city centerWe had a FABULOUS 3 day break in Paris, and this hotel didn't disappoint! We had two family connecting rooms which were absolutely huge!! so you'll have plenty of space all the usual hotel amenities coffee maker, fridge, minibar etc. Super comfy beds and excellent soundproofing/blackout curtains we heard nothing the whole time we were there and it was fully booked! The hotel is immaculate and staff were amazing. We celebrated a birthday while in Paris as a surprise and I had mentioned this to the hotel prior to arrival and they arranged some balloons and cake which was very much appreciated. THANK YOU Its about 45 mins from cdg airport. There is a metro station literally on this hotels front door so we were able to get to everywhere we wanted with ease. Have breakfast here too there is something for everyone with a huge choice! Vegan Gluten free Halal. The pancake machine was a firm favourite. There is a lovely rooftop bar with a great view of the city. We would most definitely book this hotel again. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay special.

We had requested a room at the rear of the property for this visit which was duly allocated. Unfortunately there was no kettle which was rectified within the day, additionally the toilet also sprung a leak. Again this issue was dealt with quickly and efficiently. The patio of the apartment was unfortunately very untidy. Although we encountered a few problems, we had an enjoyable stay and cannot sing the praises of the staff - Friendly, helpful and very apologetic for our problems. Additionally, we emailed to raise awareness of the problems mentioned, within days we had a call from the manager who was sympathetic, apologetic and understanding. We would highly recommend this property, we will return Many thanks.

|0.95km from city centerI booked two nights away from the city to travel by taxi with my parents. It was a really neatly remodeled hotel. Although it's really small, it was convenient because of the elevator. The neighborhood where the hotel is located was clean and safe, so I relaxed at night in the morning. The bakery and supermarket are all within 100 meters, so I can eat all the fruits, bread and everything I need. Taxi was also coming soon after calling the app out of the room, so I went around comfortably. There was a subway station about 200 meters away, so public transportation was convenient. It is recommended. I think I'll book again.

Good: - Great air condition (it was 28-36 celsius outside but room was really pleasant (22-23 celsius)) - Clean room - Breakfast included with fresh oranges juice machine thingy - Didn't hear any noice from other rooms (lucky or good walls) - Location was okay - Staff at reception was friendly - Drinkable tap water (only with slight side taste, Paris feature) - (Small) elevator (though it broke halfway our stay and was offline rest of trip) - WiFi signal was good in our room (3rd floor) Could be better: - WC/restroom was really small but gladly we are not large persons so we managed - No refrigerator in room - Room cleaning came up quite already in the morning (around 9 o'clock), don't forget do not disturb sign if you want slower morning - Breakfast could have some vegetables and greens (like salad, tomato, paprika, cucumber) but it is propably normal France style breakfast. We also have vegan diet but staff from kitchen didn't speak good enough English to tell what is vegan and what is not. - Slighty crooked shelf in our room (could not be used for items and room was already quite small) - WiFi was free but you had to login through website (just give email) so you couldn't use Chromecast with room TV. You would need a laptop to use as a wifi repeater to bypass this.

We had paid in full several months in advance, yet when we sent the hotel a message informing them of our difficulties and anticipated late arrival their response was if we failed to checkin by noon the next day we would lose the reservation. This in spite of completely paying in advance for a week's stay and completing online checkin. What's the purpose of advanced checkin and paying in advance? 2) The hot water failed for a day. Hotels should have onsite engineering or have on contract engineering staff for repairs. 3) The rooms are not cleaned by housekeeping. Now I can understand certain health precautions limiting the cleaning, perhaps every second day. But this isn't the case, the hotel will arrange housekeeping, for an 18 euro fee per cleaning. However, the room does come with a vaccum cleaner and fresh towels are available upon request at the front desk. 4) The rooms are clean, but the hallway rugs are filthy. Otherwise, the establishment is a convenient 15 minute walk to La Defense Esplanade Metro (slightly less convent to La Defense RER). For shopping here is a Intermarche literally next door. It is in a quiet location.

First of all, the hotel staff was always, 24h/7days a week nice and kind. We felt that we’ll always get any help and all answers.
Secondly, the room was very, extremely clean. The room has everything you need, including kitchen, dishwashing machine, microwave, oven, fridge, and so on. Also, all the kitchen utensils was new or almost new, it’s equipped with 3 pots different sizes, really good (with new coating) pan good size, and so on.
Thirdly, the location is really good - you are near grocery stores, bakeries, subway station. We needed to get via taxi from the hotel through all Paris to get to the train, and we never saw traffic jam at 7:00-7:30, which we were afraid of.
And I’d like to keep your attention that on reception the hotel has a cafe, where you can order pizza or pasta or coffee at low price (in Paris’ cafes it cost 2x then in hotel) and cafe is open 24/7.
Our accommodation was really awesome, we definitely will stay there every time we’ll be in Paris.

|1.1km from city centerJust returned from a weekend break in Paris, we chose this location based on cost and easy access to the Longchamp race course. First the positives, the area felt very safe and it was easy to walk (3 miles to the arc de triomphe) or get an Uber within minutes. The rooms are well equipped and the breakfast buffet had plenty of options and was of good quality. Sadly the overall feeling though is that the guests are a bother to the staff, the staff working over breakfast lack any interest in guests and one individual was damn right rude on a couple of occasions. When I asked if I needed to show my room number or be ticked off a list at breakfast I had ‘what?!’ barked at me then ‘no’ snapped with an eye roll. As all vacant tables were still stacked with dirty plates/cups and food crumbs i again politely asked the same man if a table could be cleared to which he simply glared and ignored me. On other occasions when getting a drink and at checkout there was a lot of waiting at the desk before a staff member approached. Staff who work the evening shift were much more polite & welcoming. Bar prices are steep, you expect to pay a premium in a big city but they really are something else. €4.50 for a can of coke to takeaway, then €65 for a small bottle of water, 2 baileys and a rum & coke. We paid significantly less for drinks in several bistros right in the centre of the city so felt like we were being ripped off here. Lastly we’re covered in bites, 3 out of 4 of us staying, 2 in particular have had our ankles and calf’s ravaged by something. Not pleasant.
