On a cross-country drive, we chose to stop in Lincoln and at this hotel based on the glowing TripAdvisor reviews. Intrigued by the “best in chain” claim these reviews made, we had to check it out for ourselves. This is a nice Comfort Inn, and the staff were very friendly, but don’t expect it to be a destination hotel. It is good for what it is, a budget hotel. This property is several miles south of I 80, near the Univ of NE, so I wouldn’t choose it on a road trip where you want a quick on/quick off place to stay. Our visit was marred by a huge black oil stain in the elevator and a recalcitrant AC. Seriously, the oil smell was overpowering in the single elevator and it would have been preferable to have ripped the irrepairable carpet up and had guests ride on the bare floor. The noisy AC was not adequate to cool the room that night, and worse, cycled off and on, keeping us awake. We didn’t try the breakfast.

I made a last minute reservation for a one night stay. When I checked in the front desk woman said she couldn't find my reservation. I had booked and prepaid for the room through a third party booking site. She was friendly and did everything she could to help. She finally found my reservation. Can't thank her enough for her help. The room was spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. Everything I was looking for on my cross country road trip. Because of Covid 19 restrictions there is only a bag breakfast available and no lobby coffee however there is still a coffee maker in the room. The location is good and there are many restaurants and a coffee shop next to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Do not stay here if you value your safety, customer service and standards .first off i figured something was off when a sign is posted stating "NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ". They don't even guarantee the safety of you, your possessions or your vehicle. The next strike against them is my room had no heat it literally did not function, the uncooperative front desk associate informed me that "she was not a maintenance worker and what would I like her to do about it " I obviously said its fifty eight degrees in the room so could I get another room which she did . Next strike against them i was next door to a man and woman with their pit bull playing loud music, rolling a blunt with their door propped open . At this point I'm very sleepy and willing to blow it off but feeling very uneasy about the situation. As I approached my room another man from the room across from me quiet drunk bumps into me on his way across the hall into the room with the door propped open jamming loud music once again im freaked out but very sleepy and willing to look the other way. So new room with heat but no working TV and stained sheets ,ok thats my limit time to go . As I go down to the front desk to inform her that I would be leaving and wanted I was told that all I had to do was mess with the wire or try to reprogram the TV to get it to work I politely declined to do my own maintenance on the TV and informed her of the dirty sheets Nd that I would be canceling my reservation and needing my money refunded I was told that if I want my money back that I would have to contact the booking agency (agoda) which i did and got refunded. Last thing that happened that sealed the fate of the hotels review from me two very confrontational women that had been hanging out with the front desk associate got defensive with me and informed that I should rethink my decision because it was cold outside growing up in a very very dangerous neighborhood i don't intimate easily and can spot drug activity from a mile away and validating my suspicions as I leave to get in my car a man exiting the side door of the hotel meets up with a man waiting in a car ,a transaction was made and he drove off as I sat in my car on my phone trying to find another hotel with availability this happened two additional times . This place is looking the other way on crime, drug use ,safety ,maintenance and cleanliness. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE AND NEVER BRING YOUR FAMILY AND CHILDREN IT IS NOT SAFE !

I have stayed at other extended stay hotels but this one surprised me in a good way. Most of the other extended stay hotels that have a kitchenette in them are useless unless you have brought pots and pans etc along with you or you have to purchase them during your stay from somewhere. Not here I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that the kitchenette here had all of these items in the room ready for you to use. This hotel is also pet friendly, clean and very welcoming. We got the King suite so we had a king sized bed in one room and a sofa that pulls out in the living room/sitting area. The beds are comfortable. All around an excellent place to stay. Even the items like snacks etc you could get from the front desk were a lot more affordable than other hotels offering the same amenities. MainStay Suites raised the bar for other extended stay hotels to catch up to. Thank you for making our stay pleasant and comfortable.

We stopped here on our way out west after having driven about 9 hours. Easy to find - it's about a mile off of the interstate. There is a Ruby Tuesdays within walking distance which was nice since the last thing we wanted to to was have to drive to find dinner. Our room was clean and comfortable. What we liked the most was that they had individually wrapped microwavable breakfast sandwiches. We stayed at 4 different hotels (all Choice Hotel branded) on this trip and this was the only place that offered these. We 'get' the covid restrictions but we need something more than a wrapped up piece of bread. This place delivered!

From the time we walked through the front door, it was evident that this Staybridge Suites was the nicest hotel/suite we stayed in on our 15day bus trip. Everything was spotless and very clean. The rooms (two room suite) was immaculate! I couldn't do the management staff justice just by saying they are friendly and helpful, but personable with a continuous smile. The staff acted as though we were lifelong friends. The breakfast buffet was hot and welcoming with a nice variety. In summary, I would definately stay here again! There are plenty of restaurants and shopping in the vicinity, but we weren't there long enough to take advantage of that. We were on the second floor and had no problems with noise. Plenty of room to stroll around the parking lot for our get our daily steps and the neighborhood was very inviting and quiet. Longer term guests were conversational and friendly also.

Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a good price and are OK with the the bare necessities. What are the bare necessities? A clean room, a good night's sleep, a hot shower and, these days, a good TV. In this case, the room was spotless. It was obvious that it had been recently renovated. The decor was minimalist, but in an attractive way--think Scandinavian design. No art work on the walls, and just the minimum furnishings--a small table and two kitchen chairs. No easy chair. Shelving in place of a dresser and nightstand, but both work just fine. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet and dark, and the air/heat was new and quiet, all of which made for a good night's sleep. No clock radio, but those seem to be disappearing at most hotels. The TV was the one luxury--a very nice new big screen (55"?) TV. The bath was also spotless and the fixtures had just been updated but, again, just the essentials--plenty of hot water, clean towels and two bars of soap. No shampoo, conditioner, etc. The room did have a mini fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker. No breakfast, but there was coffee in the lobby which my wife said was excellent (I'm not a coffee drinker). Speaking of the lobby, the receptionists who checked us in and out were efficient and friendly. All in all, a very good place to lay your head for the night--just bring your own shampoo, etc. You can spend the $40 you save compared to a comparable hotel with the little bottles of shampoo and the standard breakfast and instead go out for a nice breakfast or go to McDonalds and pocket the difference.

I remember when this property was priced way out of my range. Got a few years on her now and much more reasonable. She's showing some age but, otherwise clean and comfortable. Our bed was great and the room had all the expected amenities with ample number of coffee packets ( a nice plus, sometimes a hotel will provide like two cups worth to try and get by on the cheap). Pool area was nice. Hot tub was just warm but, it worked and was still appreciated. Breakfast had some egg and sausage patties along with the regular carb offerings. Overall an average experience and would stay again.

Superior location. The hotel has good facilities. In front of the gate is the river. It's safe, too. I do a lot of running in the morning. Next to it is a new shopping mall. Later, I found that there are many noodles to eat. You can also see the scenery outside. Very good.

The hotel is located in the city centre and there are many attractions nearby. The hotel has paid parking and parking is very convenient. Shopping and eating are very convenient. The restaurant inside the hotel is delicious. Standard American breakfast, self-service order, but the buffet is almost the same every day, not much change.

This is our second time staying at this property on our way home from a road trip. We had a great experience last summer and we decided to try it again. I was very impressed with how seriously they are taking precautions due to the pandemic. When you come to check-in, the front desk associated is wearing a mask. Trust me, this is not happening everywhere as we saw on our trip, so this was a pleasant greeting. They also have a table for you to stand at that is 6+ feet back from them at their desk. You can just hold up your ID to show them from a distance, and the card reader machine for your credit card is on your table. No interaction is needed at all. The room smelled and looked clean. For my own peace of mind, I like wiping down all high-touch surfaces upon entering, and not a speck of dirt came off any of them. They also honored our request for a first floor room (didn't want to use the elevator). Even being on the first floor, it was super quiet and the room was very spacious. I would definitely recommend this property especially during this time, as they are taking several precautions, including resting rooms between guests.

This was the fourth time I've spent a week at this hotel. It has improved every time I've been here. These owners have been there for the last three years and they have improved it every year. The first year it was not this good, so I'm happy with the upgrades and repairs they have done. I'll be back next year. For the price it is excellent.

First the good news. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was pretty clean. Carpet was newer looking. It looks like they have tried to make improvements over the years. No hot breakfast because of covid (and we understand that) so instead they did provide a nice sack grab and go breakfast with mini muffins, granola bar, a mandarin orange, a small apple and a bottle of water. Parking lot is well lit. The bad news: Hair dryer was broken. Dead bold on the door did not go into the door frame so you couldn't use the dead bolt. The bathroom fan didn't work and there were a couple of holes in he tub like someone drilled into it. The Sure Stay is on a very busy noisy road. If I had not brought my white noise machine along, I don't think I would have slept. At check out there was no one there, just a basket for your key so we couldn't tell anyone about the problems.

Stopped here while on a road trip with family. Wanted a nice and comfortable place to relax after a long drive. This place was nice because it was an extended stay - so it had a small kitchen with utensils. Even though we stayed only one evening we were very comfortable and happy with the room. Was spacious and comfortable- as their was 3 of us traveling. We all got really good sleep as the room and hotel - as well as the surrounding area - was very quiet!

No complaints here. They offer many things most hotels do not. Basketball court, patio area with fire pit. Which is turned off at 11pm, we understood the need for that kind of policy. A very quite area with a gas station near by. The hotel had the typical market place with items for sale, candy, snacks, beer, etc. Check in and out was quick. We stayed here due to a nearby wedding we attended. They offer a great price for rooms booked in a block for a wedding. I assume this can be pricey, but worth it. Our room had the full kitchenette, sofa, desk, comfortable bed and very clean. Nice lobby area with many seats, tables suitable for small and large groups for complimentary breakfast. Nothing over the top about breakfast, but offered many options, a few out of the norm; including turkey sausage and tortillas. Even though it’s off the beaten downtown path, this would be a place I’d recommend staying.

A pleasure trip visiting museum of quilts and airplanes. Chose this hotel for my free night, but am truly thrilled. The hotel was nearly perfect, the friendliness of the staff, to the conditions of the facilities were great. The social time food was so good we didn't even have to go out for dinner. Pool and spa area were most welcome as we have been in the car for the better part of 2 days. If anything could have been improved it would be fabric softener on the towels, as they were not as soft as home. Great visit.

There was a gentleman working who I believe was a manager because he was very well versed in so many issues with the Hampton and it's franchises as well as the hotel market in general. He went above and beyond to make sure my travel companion and I were able to stay at the same locations despite our unfortunate error in scheduling stays. The other young gentleman working who seemed pretty new gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Loved their coffee. Location is not great.

This was an affordable Hilton Garden compared to my other stays at Hilton Gardens. We parked in a parking ramp just 2 doors from the hotel and they were connected by a glass bridge to the 3rd floor of the hotel. Very convenient! Our room was very clean and I really check everything. Any question, I clean it anyway. The front desk staff were very helpful with questions, bottles of water and how to run the coffee machine in the lobby. The room was nice and quiet and breakfast was served in the usual way for Hilton Gardens. You ordered directly from the chef. Tables were cleaned often and were socially distant from each other. This is a lovely up to date hotel and I still can't believe the price for the middle of Lincoln, NE!

I can't say thank you enough to Mona who works at the Country Inn & Suites. I accidentally left my very expensive and very important medicine in the room refrigerator. Later that day I called the hotel and Mona said she would be willing to ship the medicine to me in Atlanta. The medicine had be packed in ice and the syringes were very fragile. Mona took care of everything and I received my medicine the very next day. I know Mona knew the drugs were expensive, but I am sure she didn't know what would happen to me if I didn't get my prescription drugs on time. The prescription drugs are a lifesaver! Again, I am so grateful for her service and I will definitely at the Country Inn & Suites again some day. Thank you Mona and staff!

This was the worst Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in and needs new management. Upon check-in, there was signs that masks were required due to COVID, plexiglass barriers were installed at the front desk, and their continental breakfast was cancelled because, well, germs spread, and a sack lunch was offered, but only if you requested it. Apparently that is where this hotel’s concern for cleanliness and germs ended. When we got to our room, there was only 1 cup in the whole room for my family of five to share. There were only two bath towels, the floor in the bathroom had purple shampoo on it that was impossible to not see, and there wasn’t even a bar of soap to wash our hands! Speaking of our room. We booked and paid for it on Priceline, and when we got there, they didn’t even have that room available. False advertising! They then, after arguing, agreed to give us a couple of bucks off for the one room they did have available and charged our credit card for it (we had already paid Priceline for the room.) Had to get the extra room charge refunded the next day.) There was no bedding in the room for the hideabed so we had to go back to the front desk and ask for that too. But the blanket they gave us was the little one they normally put at the foot of the bed so it didn’t even cover the whole bed! We also had issues with both the air conditioner, the t.v. remote, and trying to find a parking spot in their inadequately sized parking lot. Did I mention that there was no hair dryer provided either?! We travel all the time due to my husband’s work, and this was one of the worst stays we have had in a long time. We also have a lot of family in the Lincoln area. We won’t be back to this hotel.

I spent about 5 months in this hotel for work recently and about 10 months total in the last year. The hotel is clean and the rooms were nice. The staff have become my second family over the last year. They are all friendly and helpful. The GM, Colette, and sales manager, Kimberlie, are the best to work with! They both were helpful in moving reservations around when I needed to leave for time off work and ensured I had a room when I returned. Both always wanted to know how I was doing and even took the time to listen when there was a bad day. The front desk staff - Robert, Drew, Heather, and Allison were always helpful in suggesting things to do in town and where always more than willing to help with any issues. Mikki - the breakfast server - always said hello and asked me how I was doing. She always had a smile on her face, even at 6 AM. I would recommend this hotel!

I chose this hotel for just a 1-night stay while my father was in the local hospital and was pleased at first with the very economical 1-night rate. The room itself was very adequate and clean. What I was blown away with, however, was the genuine friendliness and professionalism of the hotel manager. I wish I would have written down his name, but he not only asked about my dad the next morning (after having told him of his surgery) but was so very accommodating at the included breakfast. He offered to make me a Belgian waffle. I'm not lying either when I say I've never slept better in a hotel than I did the night I stayed at this hotel. A+++ on customer service!

I just stayed at the Kindler Hotel her in Downtown Lincoln, Nebraska. It has been a wonderful stay. The hotel staff are second to none; I have never had better service anywhere in the country and I travel a lot! The modern design of the hotel looks great, and is on par with top notch hotels around the country. The rooms are very nice and spacious. They are quiet and the beds are comfortable and high quality. The hotel has very nice details for comfort, for instance, the bathroom floors are heated. The fitness center has the full set of dumbbells, all the way up to 55 lbs, and a multi pulley machine and treadmill. Its close to everything in Lincoln's downtown. In short, I highly recommend this place and I'd definitely stay here again!
