      My fiance and I spent 2 nights here and could not have had a better experience! As a previous Country Inn front desk agent, I have high standards and they were all met. My family has done quite a bit of travel over the past few months and we have yet to have our room serviced due to Covid concerns, so we were happily surprised when we came back on our second day to see our bed made and room tidied up. Any time we are in Atlanta I will be sure to stay here!

      Our stay can be summed up as average. Fine location, fine rooms, sub average fitness space. Excellent night staff. Terrible morning staff. We had issues with the rooms being freezing cold and I had seen other reviews that said their heating units were broken. The gentleman at the front desk came up and showed me how to properly access the heat (hidden switch under the thermostat that indicates AC/heat/auto). Anyway, he was great. The morning staff were horrendous. Just not very pleasant, and at 12:10 they called my room twice to indicate that checkout was at noon. I’ve stayed in many places and never was stalked by phone to leave my room. Overall, would probably not stay here again, just left a bad taste upon departure and not enough positives to outweigh it.

Everyone's stay was great and the staff was wonderful. The GM, Courtney, made sure our large group was taken care of and the front desk manager, Tabitha, was super getting everyone checked in and out smoothly. I really appreciate them both and highly recommend this Embassy Suites the next time you are in the area.

      We had an unplanned stay in Alpharetta and decided on Fairfield Inn and Suites based on the very good rate that was offered. Our room was nice with a comfortable bed. However, there were a few things that disappointed us. There were no curtains to close out the light from the window. Thankfully, we were on the 2nd floor. Also, there was only a shower; and I prefer a tub. My husband could hear the person next door snoring. Finally, the breakfast was a disappointment. Of course they could not offer the hot breakfast they would have due to COVID; but the 'Grab and Go' could have been much better. It was obvious to us that they did not replenish items as they were eaten. We went down much after the 6:30am start of breakfast hours; there was not even any milk out. There were a few danishes and muffins & a couple of packs of oatmeal. The staff checking us in and out were nice. Check-out is not until 12noon; which was great.

      Staff was extremely friendly, excellent COVID safety protocols in place, very quiet (even though property allows dogs), comfortable bed and clean room. I would highly recommend this if traveling with your dog, especially one that needs to be exercised regularly. The hotel is located within a block of an egress to the Big Creek Greenway, which is a miles-long walking/biking/jogging trail and perfect for dog-walking. Downtown Alpharetta is a quick 5 minute drive away and shopping at Avalon is even closer. We regularly traveled the 20 minutes to/from the hotel and our relatives' home in Milton during our stay with ease.

      We took our dog with us to visit family in Alpharetta and decided to stay in a hotel instead of imposing on them. We were unsure about it, but reviews on this hotel were good, so we gave it a try. We reserved a two-room suite on the fifth floor. When we arrived, we were greeted by the very friendly front desk staff - - in fact, every employee we interacted with was pleasant and helpful. The room was perfect - clean and well kept. There were no ”doggie” smells or stains - something that I admit we were worried about so were relieved to find it in such good shape. Our suite was roomy with a small kitchenette with a table, small refrigerator, and sink. There were large screen TVs in the living area and bedroom. The bed was clean and comfortable and there were plenty of outlets to use for charging phones, etc. The bathroom was divided so one could shower while the other used the sink/mirror. We were on the highway side of the hotel but were not bothered at all by road noises. There were record cold temperatures while we were there but our suite was toasty warm with individual thermostats in each room. Breakfast was surprisingly good with numerous choices - omelets, waffles, potatoes, sausage, cereals, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, and of course, coffee and tea. When we needed to take our dog out for a walk, there were plenty of places for her to ”visit.” We had absolutely no problems or issues and found this experience to be nothing but positive. Without reservation, we highly recommend this hotel and appreciate how well it served our needs.

      I selected this hotel based on location and availability of the good-neighbor discount for local residents. Due to the pandemic, the Law School Admissions Council is reimbursing up to $135 for hotel if a quiet place is needed for one to take the LSAT. My test time was 4:00 and I was able to check in at 2:00 to get settled. The room had very little light. The desk was attached to a wall facing the kitchenette area. It worked fine for me to take the exam because I felt like I was in a study carrel at college. Literally zero distractions. However, if I were staying here with family or paramour, I would not be overjoyed. The sofa looked and felt like a Barbie doll couch, but not a cute one. I suppose the vinyl-esque fabric is easy to clean. There was a decent flat screen TV, however, with Netflix access, so I was able to decompress after the LSAT by watching about 4 episodes of “Narcos.” I think there were two morsels of mouse excrement on the far corner ledge of the bathroom sink. The toiletry offerings were basic — two wrapped “cleansing bars” and one small bottle each of Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner. The walk-in shower stall itself was ok but the water escaped the open entryway rather easily and the ambient air entered the shower freely, causing me to hover directly beneath the hot water because I was freezing. It was a quick shower. The HVAC system is outdated. These systems, installed directly beneath the windows, are still present in many Hilton properties but there are instructions to instead use the upgraded wall unit. In my Springhill Suite, I found myself turning on heat, instantly feeling like a desiccated Sponge Bob, then turning heat completely off, opting instead to wear layers. I requested two feather pillows and received same. Otherwise, hotel offers foam pillows. Sheets were clean. Plenty of power outlets to charge electronics but no usb ports which are available in more modern properties. This didn’t inconvenience me since I brought a wall charger. If one is a coffee drinker, I suggest planning to drive about 3/4 mile down the road to Starbucks. The Café Valet medium roast had little body, flavor, or caffeine content. The paper cups at the breakfast bar were individually wrapped (maybe to preserve hygiene during pandemic). The plastic to-go lids and the cardboard sleeves did not fit these cups, so perhaps the hotel ran out of the usual cups and were pinch-hitting with cups used in rooms. The hotel staff was very nice. The hotel was, for the most part, clean. The location was fine, tucked away from traffic yet within easy driving distance of restaurants and shops. If you’re looking for a utilitarian hotel at a decent price, with very little luxury, the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Alpharetta, GA, is a viable option.

There was one very friendly staff person in particular named Angela who remained helpful despite my constant questions. We witnessed her take graceful and professional patience with several guests who were rude with her about covid restrictions.       Nice hotel located in Alpharetta. Disappointed in the young lady who checked us in though. She was in the room across from check in and barely acknowledged me when I told her I was there to check in. After giving me my cards for room she quickly ran back to where she was when I remembered I had purchased breakfast. Called over to her and told her I had paid for breakfast and she seemed to look at me like I was wrong. As she stuffed food into her mouth she acknowledged that I was correct and proceeded to give me a card. I needed to ask her about the card rather than her explaining to me. She definitely could use some More training in customer service. Woman who was at check in next morning was super friendly so maybe she could train her. Room was very nice and very clean. Loved concept of hotel with clean living. Common area inside and out very nice and inviting.

      I had a suite with a pleasant living area and a great work station with adjustable desk and chair!!! Actual comfort. Bathroom was small but it worked well including the shower head. Sink was outside the shower/toilet room, I like that and I think it is a great feature when more than 1 person is staying in the room. A/C control was good, no noise. Bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was super. Front desk staff very accommodating and pleasant. This was the top of the mid range hotel wish list.
