0.31km from BrookstonePerfect location, a short walk to town. Mark and the lady on reception are very helpful and friendly. The rooms were not too big but adequate. They were clean. The swimming pool area, was clean and relaxing. It is like a little oasis amongst the tower blocks. Perfect and quiet. We had a room out the back.
0.49km from BrookstoneGreat atmosphere and fun location.
0.64km from BrookstoneWe were very pleased with our 5 night stay at this BW. Impressed with the friendly and helpful staff and the very nice breakfast including hot oatmeal and really good coffee. The downsides were in the room. Very dark because they have heavy and awkward wood shutters that keep out the light. We had a balcony but it was cold and dark. They should remove the shutters and just use standard drapes. The windows have very dark green tint to keep out the sun, but because the rooms face north and the balcony is deeply recessed, the sun never shines anyway. The shower has a glass half-wall so that you are always exposed to the cold air. The shower head is 6 feet high so a shorter person can't reach it to use. The location is excellent except for the terrible noise from the many nightclubs nearby. The hotel has extra security on the weekend nights due to all the party goers wandering around. If you are a clubber, then this is the place you will love.

0.72km from BrookstoneThis was a staycation that didn’t feel like AZ (a good thing!). The weather was unseasonably perfect and we enjoyed the thundershowers from the beautiful club house patio our 2nd night there. This was the last weekend before everything started shutting down for COVID-19 and I’m very grateful we had such a good time on such a gorgeous property. Lots of secluded seating areas, good pool (we didn’t use), walking distance to Postinos and other restaurants. Complimentary rides if we wanted...we switched rooms after the first night to get an interior. It’s worth it. Kids napped while we enjoyed drinks and the weather just steps from our room. My husband doesn’t love older properties but it’s been renovated beautifully and is Insta-perfect for all you influencers out there. Would definitely stay there again!

0.78km from BrookstoneI stayed at the Aloft on a recent business trip to Phoenix. This hotel is centrally located to enjoy all the nightlife in Old Scottsdale and for conducting business in and around the greater Phoenix. This hotel is run by a real pro whose name is Rich. He made our stay perfect. Two staff members Adrian and Tia deserve special recognition for outstanding service. Unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to the recklessness of a guest which caused the hotel to be shut down and guests to be evacuated. Although this experience was somewhat confusing the staff handled it with precision. We were sent to the JW Marriott Camelback Inn and our room paid for that evening. I wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again.
0.83km from BrookstoneAn ok stay in an older Marriott. I stayed two nights last month. I was upgraded kind of due to my Marriott status, so I got a room with a view of the Hotel entry. The problem with that was that even on the 5th floor I could hear the fountain in front running all day until it stopped each night late, even with the door to my patio closed, the glass was too thin to keep the noise out. So, when I was working in my room, there was constant sounds of running water. Plus, even 5 floors up, I could hear everyone coming and going by cars, taxis or ubers too. Not a good plan. The room was nice enough, an older property with a little suite of a fridge too and a couch/livingroom area and a desk, separate from my bed-room. Front desk staff was ok, not great, and not particularly friendly. The bar staff was great and the one breakfast we had there was quite good. The bar had a nice area to watch the football games too. An ok stay, in a good location just near the main street in Old Town Scottsdale.

0.98km from BrookstoneThis hotel is everything we expect from a Hilton Property. Mike, the General Manager, is an outstanding host and problem-solver. He made our stay much more fun and comfortable then it otherwise might have been. Mike is a perfect example of the many reasons we are loyal to the Hilton Brand. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Hilton property. The hotel is very-well kept, it is clean and comfortable, and it sits in a perfect location.

0.98km from BrookstoneI spent 3 nights here on a Girls Weekend, having chosen the Adeline for its location and amenities. Their website pictures are very accurate- it's a snazzy, hip hotel with an awesome pool deck. We had breakfast each day onsite...menu a bit limited, but each item was tasty. Our room faced the pool, and I'm probably glad that it was on the cool side, so not very active after dark. It would be loud, if a crowd gathered. The beds are deliciously comfy, but closet/drawer space limited. It would be very difficult for more than 2 people to share a room. The front desk staff was friendly, almost to a fault. Because there are no uniforms behind the desk, at times I wondered if the casual and informal communication was coming from a fellow guest who just wandered behind the counter. They could benefit from some "development" on how to be friendly, helpful and welcoming and still function within guest/employee boundaries.
0.98km from BrookstoneIt is recommended, breakfast, very rich, large suite, living room and bedroom, swimming is good, sunbathing, suitable for vacation, lying on the edge of the pool, very leisurely.

5 Nights in November. Room on third floor was clean, comfortable well maintained and even had the kettle I requested prior to arrival. Front desk staff were cheerful and helpful. Hotel was at 30% occupancy and so no restaurant (Covid) but pool bar was open so, after working on laptop in morning each day, I had lunch by tables at near pool under palm trees. Having taken away from local places (AJ"s is great). Ample towels by pool and water from reception vs poolside (Covid). Not a large pool (No waterslides and such) but suited my needs being quieter. Location cannot be faulted for Scottsdale amenities. Although I had car, I Ubered to restaurants and cost was never more than 10 mins in any direction and under $10. John Ault the property manager was a cheery , uplifting figure when on his rounds. Even holding doors open to his own staff. This suits couples and older crowd vs large families if you want everything on site. I'll return.
When we first arrived I was pleasantly surprised and extremely impressed with the service I received from the Managers and staff. They really provided great customer service and truly felt like a valued guest!! Troy and Christina could definitely be a lead and standard to be attained!! Now there is a manager that literally looks and smells like a homeless person, needless to say there is no level of standard with this manager Dennis. From customer service to grooming their is much to be desired! From what I’ve seen If you want to be sexually harassed and offered drugs then your in luck from the “manager to his friends that Take up congregation there is no room for customer service! I’m saddened to see this set as an acceptable role model- staff is supposed manage to aspire to.
The staff was very friendly the rooms were clean and they were very accommodating I was very fortunate to be able to be helped by Katie at the front desk she was very accommodating when I requested a room with a hot tub because previous night they were not available. And a bonus I was right next to the pool. Definitely will come back!
Within a 10 minute walk to Old Town Scottsdale, this is a very quiet, clean ,modern ,reasonably priced ( for Scottsdale) hotel....ample parking....extremely friendly front desk staff....free WiFi....King room was large with very comfortable bed and pillows...included microwave , small fridge and safe...bathtub/ shower was a tad “ tired” and not in keeping with the rest of the hotel’ s decor but the shower itself was hot and had good pressure...breakfast included had hot eggs, sausage and waffle maker along with the usual continental breakfast supplies ...
We stayed here a few years ago as a result of an $89/night deal from Travelzoo. This time we took advantage of an $85/night offer that they had. Looking back at my previous review I noticed that there was no resort fee. Now there is a $25/night resort fee but the Travelzoo offer reduced it to $15/night. Once again we were very impressed with a studio room with full kitchen. Of course, due to Covid, their breakfast and happy hour items were not the same as before but they were still pretty impressive. Happy Hour 1st night - choice of pizza or salad w 2 drinks. My husband chose pizza & I salad so we could share. (pizza slices a bit small but we're not very big eaters). It was enough for us to skip restaurant dinner. The next night the choices were 2 pulled chicken sliders w/ chips or salad. Breakfast day 1 was scrambled eggs/link sausage & home fries; Day 2 was a breakfast sandwich on a bagel with home fries. Also available that day were oranges & yogurt. Drinks included coffee and orange juice. Along with 2 other couples we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility as well as the pool. I was quite happy that even though the outside temps were above 100, the pool's water temp made it refreshing but not cold. In the a.m. the water was just warm enough to also make it pleasant. The courtyard surrounding the pool is lovely and has plenty of seating. The only small complaint is that nowhere did we see that you could not bring your own alcoholic drinks into that area when the bar is open. I understand the reason but it should be printed somewhere on the info sheet. I also appreciated that there were no housekeeping services during our stay so no other people in the room. We would definitely go back if we see another Travelzoo offer. Another plus - there is a Sprouts supermarket within walking distance as well as various shops, the Village Tavern Restaurant & Panera Bread so no need to drive anywhere - just relax.
This VERY small and gorgeous inn is perfect for a girls weekend or romantic getaway. The rooms are all so nice and the service is wonderful. We stayed in the room called "George and Anna" and it was great. The hotel offers a large Smart water and Perrier water every day complimentary! Which was a huge deal in the heat of AZ. They let us put our luggage in the manager closet even though no one was there and they werent open yet, which was so nice. The only negative thing I can say is that I am pretty sure someone from housekeeping snagged my apple watch - We left super early (before 6am) that morning and when I got the airport I realized I had left it. I called when we landed at home, and they left note, but I never heard back. Then I emailed awhile later and they said they never found it, but I could see it still pinging on the location of the Inn through the "Find my iPhone" app. Then a day or two later it was erased from my apple account. I would still recommend the hotel, but just dont leave anything haha. Also - the restaurant next door is amazing! Definitely try it. PS - dont go to the pool after a certain time because you have to walk through the restaurant to get there, which can be a little awkward in your swim suit.
It is recommended, breakfast, very rich, large suite, living room and bedroom, swimming is good, sunbathing, suitable for vacation, lying on the edge of the pool, very leisurely.
I stayed here for a business conference and overall enjoyed my stay. Pros: -Grounds are lovely. They are beautifully maintained. While I didn't use the pool I did sit outside one evening and it was very pleasant. There were a lot of little areas to have a seat and relax outside in the nice Arizona sun! There were also spots in the shade -Everyone I encountered on the staff was friendly and welcoming -I didn't have a car and had some time to kill one day, so I took advantage of the complimentary shuttle to the shops in downtown Scottsdale. This was a really nice perk -Fitness center was nice and well-maintained Cons: -Location was okay. I was able to walk to a shopping area nearby, but it was a bit farther from the action downtown -My room was very nice but at night there was a loud clicking sound that would happen every so often which made it really difficult to sleep. I ended up leaving the TV on low volume the first night and downloaded a white noise app on my phone the second night, so that was pretty annoying. But I am a pretty light sleeper -The hotel was pretty spread out. I felt like it was a long walk to get from the lobby to my room Overall, very nice hotel but I think I would personally opt to stay somewhere closer to the downtown area if I were to return in the future.
My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at Extended Stay America Phoenix Scottsdale North. We originally booked with another hotel and it was a very scary place. I was alone with my daughter and this hotel was no place for us to be staying. I called around, no one had a room available but then I spoke with Brandon and he was a real life saver. He had one room left and he held it for us. My daughter and I jumped into an Uber and met Brandon. I’m not sure what we would’ve done without his help. He truly cared about our safety and made the rest of our stay amazing! Thank you so very much Brandon, you’re a real hero and I will never forget your kindness. Above and beyond is a real understatement in this situation!! Sincerely, Wendy Wilson

I have stayed at this property before as it was always well-run, clean, and is conveniently located to my business needs. But, this stay was different. The level of service has decreased to the point that even at check in, I did not feel like a valued guest. And, forget about ordering room service or perusing a lunch or dinner menu in your room. They have stupidly removed all the paper menus and now direct you to an app that does not (did not) work. Really? Why make it more difficult for your customers? In addition, the restaurant was so poorly staffed during my stay that when I went down one morning for breakfast, there was just 1 person working the entire restaurant/lounge area. I waited 15 minutes and was never even brought a menu, a cup of coffee etc. Finally poured myself a cup of coffee and left. My room was spacious but not as fresh and clean as I expected. The decor in the room was sparse, dated, dingy and old. The place is showing its age and maybe has undergone a management change, I don't know but something was off. And all this for $300/night! So, bottom line for me is this, look around and consider your options. this will be my last stay at this place I think.
Nice, clean, upgraded hotel. Worth the extra price for clean with large rooms. Bathroom and large shower are nice.
We had booked the venue for our original wedding date for 05/02/2020, then COVID. At such an upsetting time we decided to postpone and The McCormick Scottsdale was extremely accommodating to our request and we were able to reschedule to 10/02/2020. Debra Gatz was our savior during this whole wedding postponement! We last minute had to book our rehearsal dinner and day after brunch after our other plans fell through and Debra set everything up at the venue for us and it was beautiful. Did I mention we planned everything while located in Colorado?! That is a stressor all in its own, and Debra and staff made the process VERY easy! The staff and servers were amazing as well, all are extremely hard workers. Whatever questions we had leading up to the big day, and all of the small details on the day of Debra was there to help and she though of a few other details I didn't even think of to perfect the day, I cannot thank her enough! The property is absolutely gorgeous with views of Camelback Mountain, our guests spent the days by the pool or relaxing on the property. We were even able to bring our dog with us for some of the events on the property, very dog friendly. We cannot wait to come back and visit!
To Whom It May Concern; I wanted to take the time to comment on some things. I have stayed in quite a few hotels I travel quite a bit and I consider myself to be somewhat of a connoisseur. I am currently staying at the Days Inn and Suites at 7330 n. Pima Rd in Scottsdale Az this hotel is exceptional! So much in fact that I was reluctant to brag about it on Google Reviews for fear that everyone would know and flood the serene ambiance. It is beautiful here! Lush over growth of greenery give cooling shade to the sun’s rays. There is a variety of wildlife ,fascinating to watch. Its spring time, so quail and rabbits are educating their young. The rooms and suites are cozy and spacious, and always clean, the staff here are all friendly accommodating and considerate. They give absolute respect to your privacy and always seem ready and eager to provide assistance. The pool is very inviting. I hear that they have a wonderful breakfast but have yet to experience it because of covid 19 restrictions. This hotel is in a great location freeway access and it is walking distance from a major shopping plaza and there is a wide variety of entertainment for all walks of life. If I tried I can honestly say that I can not think of one bad thing to say about this hotel. I easily give it 5 stars. However, I have one complaint and it is a fairly large complaint, but not for the hotel but for Whyndham Rewards. I have stayed here 40 consecutive days and have yet to use any of my points. When I inquired about my points I learned I had 24,000 which at the time seemed like allot until I learned it was 15,000 for a standard room. I didn’t even have enough points to book two free nights and the room that I was able to book was a standard room when I have been staying in a suite. Not very rewarding at all considering I am a loyal customer. You should know your competition, Choice Privileges offers free rooms at about a rate of every 7th night is free and typically you will have enough points after 6 days to get a room equivalent to the one you had been staying in. Hotels.com offers 10 nights 1 night free of an equal room to the one you have been staying in. other third party booking agencies offer other incentives in different ways such as name your own rate or bid for a room ect ect. Whyndham Rewards does not even began to compete when it comes to “rewarding” their loyal customers infact whyndem has got to be the most unrewarding host of all its competitors. Thats not very "rewarding" at all! Hopefully I gave you something to consider. I appreciate you for taking the time to read my review. Have a wonderful day. Sincerely Cyndee Weir
As an essential frontline worker during this COVID19 crisis, I am on call to work here in Phoenix and needed a place to stay for a couple of weeks. Luckily, I found the PAPAGO INN in south Scottsdale and am very happy with my stay so far. LILY at the front office is very welcoming, friendly, helpful and efficient during my stay and worked to correct my reservations and accommodate me the best she could, which is fantastic. I need a home away from home during this COVID19 situation. CIRILO, in maintenance, works hard work to keep the property in working order. In fact, All of the staff are friendly, welcoming and hard working. The poolside garden oasis courtyard, yoga room and outdoor bird aviary are unique and beautiful. I am glad I made the decision to stay here at the PAPAGO INN South Scottsdale.
Great hotel. Helpful staff, great rooms. Sparkling clean and welcoming. Highly recommended. I'm a lifetime Platinum member of Marriott which means you sometimes get special treatment. This property treated me like royalty ... a reflection I believe on the way they treat every guest.
Do not be fooled by the outward appearance of this motel. It is even hard to tell that it’s a motel from the street. There is only a small, ground-level sign marking the location. This is a single level, old-school motel facility. The outside is southwestern style stucco with red tile roof. You park at the door to your room. No stairs and no families with inconsiderate, loud, unruly kids running around on the floor in the room above you! Once you enter the room, you will be impressed with the modern decorating, furnishings and flooring. Included is a large screen TV, microwave and refrigerator. The TV connection ports are not easily accessible, but we made do. The bathroom mirror and sink are separate from the toilet/bath area (nice) AND there is a working fan. The air conditioning unit worked great—very important in Scottsdale. The area feels safe (even though there is an adult bookstore next door) and you are within easy walking distance of numerous fast-food locations, good restaurants and convenience stores. Our favorite nearby restaurants were Lo-Lo’s Chicken and Waffles and Oregano’s for pizza and Italian food. The price for such a great property was amazingly low, especially since our stay was during the “snowbird” season. The staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful and there’s even a soda machine that only costs $1/soda! There are only two minor cons. We had a king room. There was only one nightstand. A couch took up the space on the other side. In this day and age of technology, a nightstand on each side of the bed with adequate electrical access is pretty much a necessity...the couch, not so much. Also, there is a “resort” fee. Booking.com was up front about this (which I appreciate) and even so, the total price was still a bargain, but can we please do away with “extra” fees that are not optional?
This hotel is everything we expect from a Hilton Property.
The hotel is older and small but staff is friendly and location is fantastic for visiting Old Town Scottsdale. Was very disappointed that we booked through Trip.com for a king room and they sent to the hotel that our reservation was for a double room and since the hotel was completely sold out the hotel did not honor what our reservation confirmation showed.
Room was exactly as advertised. Bathroom a bit tired but fine. A nice treat to have free parking right at the hotel. The staff was amazing from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the restaurant. Some nice restaurants within walking distance and handy to get the the airport the next morning. Less expensive than anything at the airport and far more to see and do. Still only took us 25 minutes to get to the airport on a Friday morning.
Very nice rooms...if sharing with a couple/family - don't go to a normal hotel - go here. So much more room...full kitchen and amenities, clothes washer and dryer...they even provided "starter" kits of single load clothes soap and dish detergent. Our only complaint was the second bed...I was thinking it was a queen, but seemed more like a double. With two adults sharing the second room, there was not much space in the bed (especially when one of them is 6'5") and, when someone turned over, it was like being on a trampolene! I did not have a sound sleep any of the nights because of this. I do understand they have rooms with (2) Kings...learn from my mistake and ask for those if you are (2) couples sharing the space! Restaurant and fitness center closed, so couldn't really get full feel of place...but understood because of COVID. Outdoor pools open and SO needed/nice in the heat. Was very close to purchasing their ownership...that's how much we liked it...but, it's just not the right time at this moment. One of the things that DID bother me was the stairs to all the units. I was with my mid 70's parents, who have walking difficulties...so it was a bit much for them. Had I known this, I would have asked for ADA accessible but I'm not even certain how many units they would have that are such. If they would re-vamp to make it more "older" person friendly, I bet they would really have a ton of business! Just make certain you are able to carry your heavy luggage up and down stairs!
Environment is good, traffic is good, breakfast is ok, it is recommended
We had the pleasure of staying at the newly opened Residence Inn by Marriott Scottsdale Salt River. Wow is this property management on point and the team members so happy! Service in the breakfast area, Front Desk, Housekeeping, exceeded expectations. The complimentary breakfast is outstanding and so well done. No expense spared in options. The recycled brand disposable cutlery is a major win. Expensive, but very worth the impression made. Grounds, lobby, fitness center, pool and accommodations are immaculate. Towels are fluffy and white and the beds are comfortable! A lot of care has gone into training these team members. Hospitality at its finest, with talented team members eager to help. Easy to navigate with only 3 floors - perfect if you have seniors in your party or don’t want to walk a mile to your room. This hotel is on a small “campus” with a courtyard hotel adjacent, same company. There is a full service Bistro adjacent at the courtyard that you are free to Visit and it’s very easy to access. This Residence Inn is a new build and so close to everything you may need. There’s a Walmart across the way for any forgotten items, Top Golf and an Aquarium about a mile away for entertainment. Easy, ample and free self parking. If you are thinking about staying in Scottsdale, this hotel is closer to downtown Scottsdale than some of the other Marriott brands. So glad we stayed here and we will return! Rates are commensurate with the product you receive - amazing! Worth every penny!
This was our first stay at the villas and we were here 8 nights. We are not owners, we just booked the large villa suite as if it were a regular hotel reservation. We truly loved our stay, but I had a few disappointments because their website was not current – even the Covid-specific website info. Check-in was a breeze and all staff throughout our stay were very friendly. Some were just better at their jobs than others. At check-in, we were told we could schedule our ONE housekeeping visit. We set it up and it was done at the time determined. I was really disappointed with only one housekeeping visit because the website indicated housekeeping was in effect. It did not indicate limits and this was not okay for my vacation. I truly would not have gone here had I known this because I know what perks I like on vacation. You could get clean towels, room supplies, etc any time you asked, but that involved planning or waiting. Upon arrival at our room, we found a dirty washcloth on our welcome mat. We kicked it aside and eventually it was picked up. Between the housekeeping info and this, our first 30 minutes on the property did not start out well at all. The villa was in excellent condition and well maintained. The appliances seemed brand new. Carpeting looked new. We did not like the bedding or towels – both were “rough”, though the towels were a nice size. The bed was comfortable to us (firm). The property is also very well kept. There are some areas with beautiful landscaping and other areas that were forgotten about. For example, at the pool, there are some large planters. Some were full of flowers and others had a tiny flower in the middle or even weeds in some areas. They keep the walkways clear all day with someone using a battery-powered leaf blower (much quieter than a gas one!) They power-washed the pool areas each morning too. We spent several days at the Relaxation pool which truly was very quiet and relaxing. The property was at full capacity and the only crowded day at the pools was Saturday which I expect is because no one can use the hotel’s pools that day. Other than Saturday, we could find chairs in the sun. There are plenty of umbrellas. I loved that they gave you large glasses of ice water all day long – well, one gentleman came around often whose name I can’t remember (shame on me – but he was older than some of the other pool attendants and he was from Mexico). The younger pool attendants were not as diligent with the water. The pool attendant cleaned each lounge chair after someone left and my compliments to the owners who all seem to remove their towels from the chairs when they were leaving. Never saw that much at most resorts, but this was my first time at a time share, so maybe that helped. We did not spend any time at the Recreation pool, but our room looked over it. It really looked fun for kids and teens. It was packed also on Saturday, but not busy any other day when I assume f
We have stayed at Element Hotel locations elsewhere and this one is pretty new. It is located inside the Skysong office park, but has its own space with full amenities. In the evening, they have a happy hour with drinks and food. In the morning, they have complimentary breakfast. The room options are also set up for families, as we stayed in a two queen room with a pull out couch. The kitchenette is also a nice help in dealing with kids. Nice big bathroom and the beds were comfortable (well at least the real bed, didn’t really get an answer on the couch bed). Staff was friendly and helpful. We missed happy hour, but the evening drink specials were amazing with a Knob Creek rye and a beer setting us back only $10. Room prices were quite reasonable as well, but we stayed on an AmEx perk free certificate. Would definitely come back.
This was a staycation that didn’t feel like AZ (a good thing!).
This is an older resort with crazy architectural details like a 8 ft square whirlpool tub in the corner of the only bedroom. Yet, the closet was 4' x 2'. Likewise the BR was wonderful with a large shower and toilet separated by a sliding glass barn door from the double sink vanity so that more then 1 person could get ready with privacy. Yet the dining area was disproportionately crazy because the bar area was not accessible due to the size of the DR table that was placed under a nice light but really couldn't be moved into the living area despite there being space. The architect got that wrong. Every room is exactly like this so if you want a second bedroom you must rent the entire condo. The pool area is lovely and drinks at the bar very tasty. No hot tub and the quiet pool is closed - COVID. No dining facilities on site but it is centrally located near grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. My sister and I are into gardening and the grounds are just stunning. Before COVID the master gardener gave walking tours of the gardens. Every flowering tree and shrub you can imagine. See a sampling of photos. Our family loved it We will be back.
It is quite place. Past experiences on other hotels brought me to carry water and snacks all the time. Once I reached and booking confirmed they gave compliment water and cookies. It’s good.
Address on Price app varies than original address. Not quite far. But close to .2 miles.
No other complaints.
