0.37km from Pekao BankWe chose this hotel as it looked very modern compared to the ones in the centre of Krakow, but if I was visiting agam I'd prefer somewhere nearer the centre. There is a bus stop very near and we used this a lot during the day but we were told it was too dangerous to use it at night so we got taxis which varied a lot in price. I didn't witness anything to make me feel uneasy over there it's a lovely city. The staff in the hotel were very nice and professional and the rooms were lovely and clean. I had a massage in the spa which was very relaxing, but there is no pool that I could see in the hotel only an indoor waterpark next door. The bar was dead so we didn't spend much time there. Breakfast was the usual European fare OK but nothing like the full Irish.

2.54km from Pekao BankLocation was great, not to far from old town, you can cut through the shopping centre and get lunch one the way there to old town or/and a meal on the way back. Ubur from the old town to the apartment was only 10-15zl (£2.05-£3.10) and an Ubur to the Airport was only 35zl (£7.19). There is also fuelling stations near by to get any late night goods (sweets, food, fruit, etc..) Due to recently staying in Croatia 10 days before I planned to visit Poland and forced to self-isolate back home, I had to change my dates, I had informed the property before visiting and contacted them while I was in Croatia. I had selected the "non-refund" option on booking, the apartment was not obligated to change my dates, but and they did - thank you. If you find yourself in a similar position, keep the property updated as and when you have it. I was staying for one week, first time visit. I asked if they could spare any laundry tablets for my clothes and they did (Ariel laundry tablets) - no extra charge. During the week the Internet connection was constantly dropping for upwards of 10 minutes before reconnecting. The WIFI was fine, this would be the service provider issue. Towards thee end of the week the service was fully restored. I won't leave a negative on this as they worked to restore the service. The last few days I was there, the connection was much faster and more stable.

2.73km from Pekao BankReally don’t know how people are giving such harsh reviews. For the price you pay, it’s 5 stars. Pros - best WiFi I’ve ever had! - 10 min walk to centre!!! - room is a great size! - it’s quirky and different! - great temperature - brew making facilities and cutlery etc. This place is brilliant for the price and would come back here in a second if I ever returned to krakow. Slight con: sheets were marked. But hey ho. Tiny mark down. Rest of the flat was immaculate! Overall 9/10.

2.79km from Pekao BankI stayed in the Nelson Mandela suite. Two bedroom apartment. Nice and cosy, clean and comfortable. Only thing I was missing was a toaster😂😂 us Irish likes our toast. Amazing power shower. About 10 minute walk to main square and massive shopping center on the way. Taxi from airport through booking.com was €17 and when I got my feet on the ground the train to the airport was €2 one way. Even though they were not helpful at the train station. Collection of the key was through a message to my phone with codes to enter the apartment. Thought it was nice that they asked to confirm back to the message that we were able to get in without any problem. Reception open during the day. I recommend that you do the English speaking tours called Krakville tours. Excellent tour guides. Overall really enjoyed my stay and definitely return and stay in Nobel Suites again👍
Hotels Near Pekao Bank In Krakow Review
Hotel service was good, clean and tidy.
The location is excellent, the surrounding attractions are close, and eating is also very convenient. If you need Chinese food, there is not close, but you can eat sushi.
Next to it is the park and the old town.
Uber is cheaper when going to the airport. It is about 40 Polish rupees during busy and free time.
After a nightmare journey to Krakow the last thing we wanted was a further let down with the place we were staying. Thank goodness it wasn't! Rakowicka Residence is an absolute diamond of a property in a quiet area just 15mins stroll to the Market Square, where most things in Krakow happen. On the walk to the square you also pass a huge shopping mall so it's very convenient for some retail therapy as well. The room was spotless as was the bathroom and shower. Our room on the 5th floor had 2 skylights for natural light. There was a table and 2 chairs, lots of storage space, a kettle, coffee machine, a safe, clean towels and shower gel/shampoo and bottled soap in the bathroom. There is a lift to the top floor. Access is by keypad at the front door and for your room. We felt very secure in the area, which appeared to be a business quarter with 2 large banks HQ's close by. We are hoping to return again to Krakow this year and would have no hesitation of booking Rakowicka Residence. Before signing off I should mention the staff at the apartment. We were meant to arrive in Krakow at 12:00 but that ended up being 20:15 so by the time we got to the apartment is was close to 10pm. I kept in touch with Magdalena via emails during the journey explaining our delay, so she kindly gave me the access details as we would be there past her finishing time of 21:00. We got there she was still there to make sure that we were OK. Service above and beyond. We met with 3 of the staff and all were excellent and helpful
Access is good and clean but there is no cooler and fridge in the room.

We had booked a 3rd-floor Panoramic suite looking out on the Wawel but learned shortly before arrival that those rooms were being renovated and we were upgraded to the Fresco Suite on the ground floor. The fresco was indeed beautiful and the suite was large, but the decorator had gone overboard with a pedestal bed imitating a 16th or 17th century model that was pretty hard to get into and out of. Only one normal chair in the room, but two classy but uncomfortable leather lounge chairs. The "lounge" part of the suite had a big desk with a chair, plus a leather couch facing a wall TV screen. Not particularly inviting. Bathroom was classy but not practical : no handles to get in or out of the bathtub, no handle on inside of separate shower. The real surprise was being awakened at 7:15 by noise from the room above which was obviously under renovation. Luckily they didn't work on Saturday or Sunday, but it would be a show-stopper during the week. The food was delicious but since Covid rules forbid buffets, the breakfast menu items delivered enough food for 3 people. I did figure out that we could order just what we wanted, and then it was great. Service good. No time to test the pool, the spa or the rooftop terrace, but I visited them and they look superb. My guide was Pani Joanna, hotel manager, the heart and soul of the hotel. Like the rest of the staff, she was ready to do anything to make our lives easier - for ex she had a pair of shoes fixed for us immediately on arrival.
