Hotels Near Pekin Ii In Puerto De Mazarron Review

We booked this hotel at the last minute when our original hotel cancelled due to COVID-19. I had second thoughts about the booking when I realised it was called a Hostal. Don’t let the name fool you this was better than some 4* hotels we have stayed in. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff, especially Gloria were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast although basic is free, so no complaints there. The location is fantastic, only 3 minutes walk to either the beach or the high street although it is in the middle of a very Spanish residential area. I cannot recommend the HOTEL highly enough.

We were moved here after a dreadful visit further down the road. And what a difference a day makes. We were not expecting to stop here but we were so glad we did. The staff from reception to the cleaners were some of the friendliest I have met and weve met a few. The daytime entertainment was fun to join in with, and the food was good, only complaint cold plates. We transferred here on half board basis and then upgraded to all inclusive for €20 each per day. What a bargain. Fellow travellers dont be put of with the all inclusive bit, we've all stayed at some pretty bad places where drunks and cheap drinks can be a nightmare like Club Mac in Majorca, this however wasn't the case. Branded quality drinks and excellent bar staff and poolside waitresses. And not a roudy British drunk anywhere. We were here as season closed and it was generally quiet but the weather was hot, the pool was warm and the drinks cold. We loved it, thank you Alegria

Stayed one night last week. We don't know the area and had to overnight. Consequently the Bahia was chosen blind. The price was on a par with other hotels in the area. Facilities are adequate, but less than some other places nearby. Staff brilliant. Common areas pleasant and relaxing. Private, off street covered parking. Right on the beach - literally! With their own access direct from beach to hotel. Rooms some have described as tired or in need of improvement. To me, there is nothing wrong with them. Clean, a/c, large bathroom, balcony overlooking the sea, comfortable bed. We didn't get any special price or concession but I thought we had a bargain. The one downside to our stay was not unique to the hotel. That is the town was very quiet and looked a bit run down. Lots of commercial premises for sale or rent and plenty of others just closed. A fair bit of graffiti about which added to the general air of Faded glory. As the hotel, in common with the rest of the town, was quiet the restaurant was closed, as were three others in the immediate vicinity meaning we had a bit of unplanned exploration to find somewhere to eat! Again, this was not the fault of the hotel. I would have no hesitation in staying at the Bahia again if I were in the area, but I won't be hurrying back to Puerta Mazarron.
