Their breakfast is great with all sorts of treats, breads, fruits, fresh juices, among other delicious food. Novotel’s staff members are friendly, highly professional and courteous. Shoutout to Ailton and Pamella who work at the front desk. They made sure our check in and check out process went smoothly and always greeted us with a smile on their faces. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Curitiba. It’s located in a safe area and there are stores, restaurants, pharmacies and even a mall nearby.

Eventually they gave me a plain plate of chips. I complained at check out and the hotel took the price of the meal off the bill. Excellent, I thought that was that. No such luck. A month later, the hotel billed my credit card for the meal. But they didn’t send an invoice. With no invoice, I couldn’t claim on my expenses and I wasn’t even sure this was for the meal - it could have been fraud. I repeatedly called and emailed the hotel but they ignored me. Reported to head office also, but they took six weeks to reply and still sent no invoice. Eventually got a local colleague to sort out the mess. I understand the hotel actually broke Brazilian law charging a credit card when the card holder was not present.

|2.49km from city centerI booked this hotel after seeing great reviews but ‘Great’ is not something I experienced. Staff were unwelcoming, check-in took about 15mins where the only word spoken to us was “passport”. It should never be an expectation that staff be fluent in English (but it helps) however to have 0 communication was disastrous. Even asking for ‘red wine’ the evening after took several attempts. There were several plug sockets in the room that did not function as well as tv remote that did not work. Little things like this I could have reported if I felt the English level of the staff in the hotel was adequate. Instead we just had to adapt. Breakfast was good and the location of the hotel in Batel was perfect for my work visits. Gym also had a great view and was spacious. But definitely not a place I’d choose to return to and hope other non-Portuguese speakers receive a better welcome and experience than I did!

|1.11km from city centerI was in this hotel in late December, I had an experience that was not very good but we go by the good part of this hotel is the location is in front of the Municipal Market and in front of the bus point that makes the journey to the tourist points. Now the part that is not so good, breakfast has diversity, but when some item finishes, they don't rest fast, the breads are coated, the dry cake, juice is not natural ... the room where I stayed the box was well-fetched, I had no air conditioning control, so I arrived and asked the reception for this control more than once, but I did not receive it. And I had a countertime, the hotel around 15:00 only leaves hot water, as the system is gas, so it is impossible to take a bath. I called to inform and ask for help, the information I had already seen, well, in that meantime the water was over, because the bomb had a problem. Whenever they called at the reception they gave a deadline, but the deadline was not met ... finally was a disorder! I think the information could be clearer because problems happen, but the way it is conducted is a differential.

Ce n'est pas un hôtel, c'est un appartement hôtel. Ce qui change, le ménage et le lit ne sont pas fait. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas comprit.
Vous disposez, d'une petite cuisine équipée, avec micro-onde et réfrigérateur (même si celui-ci est très bruyant la nuit)
Les points positifs :
Très bien situé en centre ville. A moins de 100 mètres de la rue du XV Novembre, rue piétonne et très commerçante. Proche, du jardin, Passeio Publico, de la place Tiradentes, de la rue des 24 Heures, des nombreuses stations de bus de la place Carlos Gomes, etc...
Chambre propre, fonctionnelle, lumineuse, la notre avait la climatisation. Par contre la chambre nous semblait plus grande sur les photos!
Très pratique, dans l'établissement, il y a une laverie (vous pouvez laver et sécher votre linge. Vous payé avec votre carte de crédit), un point restauration (ou vous pouvez prendre votre petit déjeuner, une collation au cours de la journée voir déjeuner ou diner. La carte est limitée mais c'est très pratique), un point de vente à l'accueil pour dépanner ou vous trouverez, des boissons, gâteaux, produit de première nécessité (savon, dentifrice, etc...).
Très sécurisé, dès votre arrivée vous êtes enregistré et il y a de la reconnaissance faciale pour rentrer dans l'établissement, de plus un agent de sécurité est présent à l'accueil 24H/24H.
Le point négatif : l'enregistrement doit se faire sur Internet, donc pour les étrangers, obligation d'avoir un accès à Internet (ce qui n'était pas notre cas) et nous avons été bloqué car il fallait renseigner le CPF que nous n'avions pas !
Heureusement la personne de l'accueil nous a aidé à partir de son ordinateur, mais la procédure à durée plus d'une demi-heure. Fastidieux quand vous arrivez tard dans la soirée après votre voyage ou vous n'avez qu'une envie, c'est de rejoindre au plus vite votre chambre!
Ce point négatif est plus particulièrement impactant pour les étrangers qui, n'ont pas d'accès Internet, pas de CPF et qui ne parlent pas Portugais. Ce point ne sera pas impactant pour les Brésiliens.
En résumé, nous avons été très satisfait par cet établissement, que je recommande.
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour .

The rooms are good, but the building is old and it is possible to hear noise of the tube when some other guests take off or bath, which can catch the sleep of many people. The restaurant where breakfast is served is small, which makes you have to eat outside of it or then wait to have vacation at some table. Another point is that coffee starts at 7:00, so if you have some commit early you may have to leave the hotel without even drinking coffee. Another thing that is bad for those who travel by car is that the parking is charged and that information is not clearly available, and the hotel parking is small and, or you need to leave the key at the reception, The hotel also has no academy, I have a partnership with a nearby one. It's interesting because you'll have a complete school, but it's a disturbing thing that you're not at the same place as you're. The hotel staff are very well-performing, but I noticed that there are few at the reception and at certain times of the day they end up not realizing everything you have to do and generates row. One thing that has bothered me a little, although I don't make any difference, is that the bathroom box has a small bathroom, so if the guest has reduced mobility, is obese, pregnant or disabled, the bathroom becomes impossible. And last but not least, the building that the hotel is located is old, so the stairs for you to climb to the room are inappropriate, being a flight route and passing through the hotel reception. I will not return and recommend with all that I have said.

Na hora da saída das motos, (detalhe eu estava sem moto) no momento em que eu estava na recepção fechando a conta de todo mundo. Um funcionário do estacionamento (detalhe nem de carro eu estava) foi veio me dar uma bronca por um motivo que até o momento eu não estou sabendo qual...Para mim o mínimo que deveria acontecer seria o respeito por qualquer pessoa, pois na frente de todos inclusive do recepcionista que é prova disso ele soltou os cachorros cima de mim. Espero que o Hotel gerencie melhor as empresas contratadas e não deixem uma experiência ruim aos usuários, faltou conversa e educação, situação constrangedora.

Há poucas tomadas elétricas, ainda no padrão antigo (recomendo levar adaptadores). Há aparelho de TV porém é apenas ilustrativo, não funciona (nem mesmo acende qualquer luz indicativa ao tentar ligar) - é possível que seja problema apenas neste quarto, no entanto todos os pedidos para os funcionários verificarem foram prontamente ignorados. A cama é grande e confortável. O banho tem boa pressão de água. As toalhas são ásperas, velhas e tem odor ruim. O atendimento na recepção é bem ruim (parte dos funcionários, não todos). Não há carregador, ao chegar com bagagens e malas, o próprio hóspede se encarrega do transporte. Não há informe de boas vindas (explicação das áreas do hotel, localização do quarto, localização e horários do café, etc). Há estacionamento (apenas manobrista), é cobrada uma taxa diária (atualmente R$30,00).

My bedroom was luxury double room, and the reservation was made 2 weeks in advance through booking.com app, i got a fair price that included breakfast. I really enjoyed the bedroom size, with a pretty spacious bathroom, working desk with comfortable chair. Big TV and gigantic confy bed. The reception clerk was really polite, I had done the Pre booking on line, it took 5 minutes to finalize the check in and get the room card. I drove to Curitiba, and the hotel counts with valet service at extra cost. I like the ironing board in the hotel bedroom. Nice touch the washing cloths, lots of hotels in Brazil don’t have those. Extra points for the good hair dryer. Good toiletries- body moisturizer, shampoo and hair conditioner, 2 soap bars, tissues and shower caps. Fluffy and big towels, plenty of clothes hanger I Stayed on the 3rd floor, next time i’ll ask for a higher room, so i can have a better view of the Japanese Square Park. The hotel location is pretty good, in a high end neighborhood and close to downtown. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the menu didn’t have a lot of variety- I ended up having filet and past and the flavor was good, but if i stay at the hotel again i will have dinner outside the hotel. The bedroom offered tea, coffee and water bottles and a courtesy. The breakfast buffet had a pretty good variety of fruits, yogurts, juices and nice and fresh breads. It did have a espresso machine and some sweets and cheeses. Considering pandemic measures i thought the hotel is being really careful living windows and doors open, and at the hotel restaurant the tables have enough room between them. I would say it’s a 9 out of 10.

It's very centrally located just down the road from a lovely square and there are heaps of shops on the street and the fabbest restaurant practically next door (Placa de 5 Sentidos) where you can eat good food while listening to a live classical performance by a violinist or pianist, or both. The hotel is very clean and comfortable -- everything works - and the staff at reception are very helpful and can organise your train trip to Morretes and advise you how to get to Ilha do Mel. The breakfasts are nice and they have afternoon tea as well with coffee and cakes. The laundry service is good too.

|0.65km from city centerReally had one of the worst experience of my life with a hotel. My family and I planned to start 4 nights at the hotel to visit our family in Brazil. Check in was horrible, they lost my reserve (but charged me on booking.com nevertheless). Then gave us (couple + 3 kids) two single bedrooms instead of two double. They tried to make it right by giving us an extra Mattress. After hours for a checkin, we got to our rooms. No Internet connection. We had to buy mobile Internet services to work and let the kids use their tablets. Breakfast also had barely the minimum you would expect from Top hotel. We decided to have breakfast outside the hotel. Parking service was also really messy, couple of times took them more than 30 min to get us our car. Must say that all the staff was really friendly and polite, but the system and infrastructure of the hotel is really obsolete. Checkout was another nightmare, charging our expenses in another room, the lady at the front desk had to manually calculate our bill. Lost touch was, I got charged both on booking.com and at the hotel. Waiting for them to return one of the payments. If you are going with family or plan to work from the hotel, I recommend you choose another one. We won’t be returning to this hotel anytime soon.

No restaurante, Eveline, Silvana e Elise ofereceram um atendimento excepcionalmente diferenciado em todos os aspectos. A acomodação é estilo flat com dois ambientes distintos, tendo cozinha bem estruturada, sala com sofá cama, poltrona, mesa de trabalho e TV. O quarto tem cama de casal bem grande, guarda-roupa espaçoso, criados mudos e TV. Há uma ótima pia com espelho externa ao banheiro permitindo o uso de ambos de forma individualizada. Há shopping, comércios diversos, praça e estação de bicicletas nas imediações do hotel. Excelente hotel para estadias curtas e longas!

( the tapioca is made and a pack of cheese and sore soup is placed in the middle of the omelet the same thing). These are simple details that inspired me lack of training.
