If you like a soulless modern hotel, this place isn't for you. She's a grand old lady with old fashioned stylish decor. Pesaro is a very stylish town, bring your best clothes but expect to be stared at in October if you don't wear a jumper when it's only 20 degrees! This hotel is near the sea, a short walk to the beach and a longer walk to the beautiful town centre. The problem for me was the noise from the park at night. I had to shut the window. Have only eaten breakfast in the hotel which was more extensive than normal in Italy.

The hotel is beautifully decorated with a modern beachy theme. It is right on the beach and has a nicely laid out beach area with a beach front restaurant as well as a restaurant on the premises and a spa. Parking, WIFI and breakfast were included in the price. The breakfast buffet was nicely laid out with a diverse selection including eggs and bacon. My only complaint is that checkout is at 11 and this was not communicated until literally the last minute. My husband had gone for a walk and we had agreed to meet at 11:30 to pack and check out. It was not an issue because we were traveling with only carry-ons, but I felt pressured after the front desk staff saw me go up to pack at 10:55am and I had to pack for me and my husband and they called at 11:15am to ask me to turn in the room. I was already done packing by then and asked them to send the bellman to pick up my bags. We stayed at the hotel towards the end of the season and the hotel was not full, so while I understand that the staff needs to do their job and enforce their policy, I felt like it was unnecessary to rush me. I recommend that the hotel prominently display its check out time (which is a little earlier than noon which seems to be standard in most hotel) to avoid other guests with a lot of luggage to pack ending up in a difficult situation that puts stress on both the guest and hotel staff.

The Blumen is a small hotel owned by the same people as the larger one next door. The rooms are small to average mercifully with air conditioning which is necessary for an August visit, they're clean with a television, small bathroom with shower basin wc and bidet. The double bed was two singles pushed together the mattress was firm which I liked with sheets towels changed daily. Breakfast from 730am -1000am was a buffet with no hot food, cereals, toast, boiled eggs, yoghurts, cakes, cold meats, etc etc. Hot drinks from a machine though I noticed some people were asking for them from the waitress who made them from fresh coffee hot milk. A couple of things would improve the hotel, please give people do not disturb/ clean the room signs so there's no need for the cleaners to knock. I'm on holiday I want to sleep the hours I want. There was no book in the room with useful info, again and again I had to ask reception. All staff were friendly and pleasant. One word of warning if you're of a large build the shower was small with a folding plastic door and you may well struggle to fit in it, the alternative would be to leave it open and flood the bathroom. Thus is an improvement the hotel could work on. As it was during the Festival the hotel prices were double what they normally are as far as I can see from comparable prices outside of those dates and for that reason I've only given this an average rating, I found them overpriced.

I'm struggling to give this hotel a 'very good' rating but it warrants no less as the food is downright excellent and compensates greatly for the negative aspects. The hotel is on the seaside. One passes through the pool area, down a few steps and you are right on the beach. The owning couple (in their 70's) are downright arrogant and presumptuous. My initial experience was upon check-in when the "lady" of the house instructed the receptionist to tell me that we could not view another room as they would then have to 'sanitize' given the Covid guidelines. I consequently simply peeped into the alternative room and went back downstairs and said we'd take the room they had first offered. In less than 15 mins later, I showed the receptionist a picture I took of the cracked WC seat that was in our room and wanted to ask him to ask his boss to review their "sanitizing" as it had not apparently been very thorough in our room. I let it go and, to be fair, they sent their maintenance guy to change the seat the next day. The first evening, my wife and I had been guided to a lovely big round table and were enjoying our first course when the "lady", her husband (very obviously a lover of contemporary art) and son/daughter/grandchildren all arrived at the next table. The owner, proceeded to query in a loud voice his grandchildren about their school etc etc. The children's father was very polite and did his best to tone things down but the owners managed to spoil my dinner which was, purely from a culinary point of view, excellent. The next morning I asked the waiter to move us to the other extreme angle of the dining room to be a long way from the thoughtless owners. That worked until a couple of evenings later, the owner decided to use the dining room/pool area to host a weeding party. The hotel guests were regaled to the basement area. Given the excellent food quality, that would not have been a problem but dammit the 'lover of art' had invited a local group of about thirty-thirty-five people and we had to spend the first half of our meal in the company of loudspeakers and the second half, again listening to 'his lordship' welcome his chosen private guests into the space which had been allocated to his PAYING hotel guests for their PAID dinner. The rooms are cleverly 'arty'. in need now of a redecoration and inter-room sound-proofing as one hears one's neighbor snore. Keep the cook :-)

We been here twice, last year was a very good experience in this hotel. But this year big regrets of choosing all inclusive for the meal, breakfast is very same like last year, but lunch and dinner was terrible, they have this fish polpetta which is pure flour!antipasta is more of fried frozen foods!primo is a waste of pasta!and main course?super low quality of food.Drinks in the refill station refillable wines is a bad idea!not like last year u can have the bottle the if you can finish it you are sure that no headaches when you wake up in the morning!but the one that they have now the refillable wine i end waking in the morning with bad headache. The rooms and hotel are still very good.

We were so disappointed with this hotel. We stayed for a week and just about everything was disappointing. The room was old, dark, un-maintained and not very clean. The shower had good water pressure but the tiles were grimey, missing grout and had plenty of black mould around. There was a regular drip of brown water from the bathroom ceiling tile. We reported it but nothing was done. In the end we used one of our towels daily to catch it so we didn’t slip on the wet floor tiles. The pool area was so poorly maintained. Weeds growing in the cracks in the patio area. Felt like it just needed a little care and a proper scrub. The first time we used the pool we were told to get out as they have a rule you can not go in without a swimming cap. The hotel just so happens to rip guests off asking these at £5 or so. There weren’t any signs we could see about this and it was definitely not mentioned when booking. We saw plenty of other people use the pool without one so it seems this we policed quite selectively. The other disappointment was that the pool area closed for lunchtime so do not go here if you want to relax by the pool all day!! Lastly the receptions attitude to helping staff was appalling. Upon arrival our mobile phones weren’t working - something easily resolved by calling our service provider. There are phones in the room but we were told they don’t work!! We asked at reception who told us to go to the station (25 min walk) to use pay phones. We had no other way to resolve the issue and therefore went several days with no phone or internet access for directions etc. I can’t think of any other hotel I have ever been to who would not help a guest in need. In the end we went to a hotel we weren’t staying with who were able to let us use a telephone for 5 minutes to sort the problem. We enjoy Pesaro and come every year. We normally spend a lot of time and money in hotel bars and restaurants but after the awful service we decided not to spend any money there at all so avoided the restaurant and the bar - so cannot comment on these. Overall, based on our experience, I have to advise people avoid this place.

My husband and I stayed here for a week long holiday recently. The hotel and grounds are stunning; traditional without feeling dated. The pool area is a good size, very clean with changing rooms and showers. You can even WhatsApp your drinks order to the bar from the pool which I thought was a great touch. If you’re looking for a place to relax this is perfect as the gardens allow space for guests to roam around and have as much privacy as a private villa, as there’s not a huge amount of rooms so it doesn’t feel crowded. The rooms are spotless and spacious, the shower was good too. There are no kettles in the room but you can ask for this and the hotel will provide upon request. The staff were fantastic, from checking in to providing information on getting around and where to go, to the excellent service at breakfast and the bar. There’s no restaurant but the bar snacks and light meals (toasted wraps etc) are really nice and if you don’t want to go far there’s a good restaurant just a few minutes walk away which is handy for lunch or dinner if you don’t fancy going into town. The hotel serves a buffet style breakfast with lots of choice and the food is of high quality. We were unsure if we would need to hire a car however the bus stop is 2 minutes away and the service is very good, regular (every half hour) and cheap. The only issue is they stop running quite early (around 8pm) so if you want to go out for dinner you may need to get a taxi back (€20-25). I would recommend buying tickets in town as it’s slightly more expensive to pay on the bus and you need exact change for the machine. Tickets for one way into town are €1.25 per person if you buy in town, and you can get as many as you need for the week as the machine just time stamps them as you use them on each bus trip. There’s lots of places to eat in town but our favourites were: •Moodi Piada - for lunch, this place does the BEST piadinas! •Ristorante il Castiglione - for dinner, this restaurant has a romantic courtyard with a great ambience and the nicest food we had in Pesaro. The beach is walkable when you get to town too and is nice for a visit although is quite heavily populated by sun-beds of the hotels however I expect as you move away from the main centre this will be less crowded. Also, people are very friendly and all restaurants we visited kindly ordered us taxis to take us home so this was helpful too as it saved us finding a rank or trying to give directions as we need to work on our Italian! We loved our trip to Pesaro, mainly due to this hotel and their wonderful staff. We hope to come back again in the future and bring our family members to share this fantastic place with them.

This is a family-owned hotel with long traditions. Staff are extremely friendly and they do their best to make your stay pleasant. Very efficient housekeeping, one of the best we’ve ever had. The room was always spotless. Breakfast was good for a three star Italian hotel. Especially the selection of sweet things was plentiful. The fruit could have been better considering the availability of great fruit in Italy. You have to climb stairs to get to the hotel, but in case you have trouble with the stairs (like us travelling with a baby carriage), you can have a key with which you can get to the street level with the elevator. A deposit of 20 euros in cash is required, but you get it back when you return the key. The location is perfect. The hotel is almost next to the beach and old town is also within walking distance. There are lots of dining options nearby. Only downside was a relatively small room, as we were two adults and two children. It is also worth noting that the hotel has no swimming pool. In conclusion, very good value for money and highly recommended.

Stayed there 10.07. – 11.07. Friendly welcome, friendly goodbye. You have the possibility to use the private parking garage (costs 13 €) but you need to reserve it in advance (only 10 places available I think). Located on the second row you only have 80 meters to the beach. Hotel is a little bit old fashioned, but in a positive way. Guests are more or less > 60+. The rooms on the first floor offers you a balcony which is double as big as the room itself. Fridge works well, as the Wifi. The rooms looks quite modern, great pillows. Shower has a good water pressure. I can recommend this hotel.
