Hotels Near Pesci In Ferrara
0.53km from PesciI was reluctant to stay at a B&B due to a previous experience but this was an exceptional. It is about 1-2 miles outside town and is off a main road but once inside the gates you are at peace. Enclosed gated parking is an added plus. The host could not be any more gracious. The room was spacious and the bed gave me the best sleep on our trip. Breakfast came with eggs and bacon cooked to order as well as all the usual Italian fare. You can not beat the price.

1.62km from PesciThis hotel is near most of the attractions in Ferrara. In addition, a number of popular restaurants are within easy walking distance of the hotel. The hotel does not have a lift, but the owner was most helpful in carrying our luggage to the bedroom. The owner's son, Fredrick, showed me to the parking garage after my attempts at finding it failed. The breakfast staff was very friendly and there was a good selection of items to choose from for breakfast. The only drawback that we found was the junior suite we booked was a little small for our needs. Unfortunately, they have nothing larger. But, we made it work for the three days we spent in Ferrara. We left Ferrara on a market day and the street in front of the hotel was full of vendor stalls. As a result, Fredrick came with me to collect my car and find a suitable place close to the hotel so that we could load our luggage. He was extremely helpful throughout our stay.
Hotels Near Pesci In Ferrara Review
We had a great stay at this B&B managed by very welcoming hosts. The rooms are comfortable and modern and the private parking is very useful in the centre of the city. All in all a perfect spot to discover the charms of Ferrara and a good value for money. It would clearly deserve a 5 stars rating if there was a little bit more care put in the breakfast: - In such a great place with only a few rooms, it is a bit silly to offer super cheap and industrial stuff (e.g. terrible juices probably made from powder and water) - The breakfast employee was not very attentive, doing her job as we were not here like using noisy appliances and cleaning the kitchen before we were ready to go.
I was reluctant to stay at a B&B due to a previous experience but this was an exceptional. It is about 1-2 miles outside town and is off a main road but once inside the gates you are at peace. Situato all'interno dell'incantevole cornice del Castello Estense, la camera pulita e dotata di ogni comfort. Ottima la colazione servita nel ristorante. Gentile e disponibile il personale sia al check in che nel ristorante
I have to say that location of hotel and friendly staff helped to have a wonderful time. We toke time with our family in November while the weather wasn’t best with some rain but because location of hotel right in the centre of city with a good view of medieval castle that wasn’t an issue for us. On our first stay we had some issues with water dripping from ceiling but friendly staff relocated us within minutes. Rooms clean and they are going through renovation. It’s not my first time I stayed in this hotel, normally it’s a business trip, but to have a family with me is first time. I would recommend for both type of visitors. Thanks

We absolutely loved this place. The first sight of the house through the trees as you enter is pretty special. The house is simply gorgeous with its terracotta brickwork and flowers everywhere, The location was divine - just perfect. It felt like we were in the middle of the countryside but were less than 2 kms from the city centre and the house is situated within the old city walls. It was very peaceful & quiet throughout our stay. The only sounds we heard were the cicadas. We also loved the access to free bikes - although we had a car we ended up using the bikes every day. I recommend cycling along the old city walls. The first access point is less than five mins from the hotel. We also loved our room. It was huge and beautifully decorated in a slick modern style but was also very comfortable. We booked a Deluxe Suite so had a separate living room and bedroom - the bedroom and bathroom were upstairs on the mezzanine level. Everything was well maintained and spotlessly clean. Elda, the manager, was very welcoming a great host. She is fiercely proud of the hotel and of Ferrara and made sure we were happy with our stay. As we were checking out i let her know that we'd had two beers from the mini bar and she told us they were on the house. A classy touch. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was breakfast. I would've liked some fresh bread & a selection of real cheese, not the processed stuff in packets. But this is a small thing and I realise that breakfast is not such a big deal in Italy. The lady serving the breakfast was very sweet and friendly.
First, walked from train station 20 min. Second, location fantastic. Across from the castle...turn right out of Hotel to all of old Ferrara. Staff is great. Helpful and pleasant. Room was small but new...everything in Hotel seems new. Looking out our window was weird...looking at back of Building next door...but very few rooms on Plaza. Perhaps if you paid more you could get one. Breakfast is the best one you will ever have in the World!!! I can't even to begin to explain all they have. Not 5 star because people that expect that want Big/Old Historic. This is 5 star in our book. Pice is fantastic also for what you get. Breakfast alone ( although you might not eat much) is worth $20 + This Hotel is good fo Business or tourist...everyone would be happy. Absolutely nothing to complain about except maybe view
I returned to Locanda Borgonuovo for a few days and this time as a family. The Locanda accommodated our little family in a charming and perfectly appointed flat. Our child was delighted to have so much space at his disposal to play with Lego! A home from home. Our host Filippo was as always extremely helpful and caring and so was his charming father Andrea. Once again I would strongly recommend Locanda Borgonuovo to whoever is looking for a central yet quiet location and all the comforts and warmth of a family home. Grazie e arrivederci!
Centro Storico Rooms and Suites are well organised and clean. A big well done to the management, they do their best to help. Location is very near to the centre of Ferrara, you can reach a lot of restaurants by walking distance. It's a must to try local food.
Very nice old hotel with real Murano mirrors and lusters. But it’s need renovation. Its 5 starts Hotel and it can’t be in this condition. Some little things to do and will be really 5 starts. We were staying here one night and it was comfortable enough, but I’m not sure ä,if it will be comfortable to stay some nights more.Breakfast we were taking in the city center,so I can say nothing about breakfast at hotel.Parking place is comfortable and it’s inside of house zone.Staff is very kind and everything with them was going good!)
Situated in Emilia Romagna region of Italy, it represents the beauty of old architects on the first look when facing its castle and surrounding architectonic exquisite buildings similar to those most famous in Venice or Florence. Hotel Europa somehow fits there despite reflecting the memoirs of late 18th/early 19th century. Nicely placed within minutes reach of city heart with dominant castle with moat all around. Services are smooth and fast, rooms are clean and tidy, breakfast offers you panoply of choices while all kept a bit of home-touch, not commercial. Mounted into original building bordering Ferrara's high street, you may enjoy its high ceilings and in its lobby and halls on every floor cozy furniture taking you back on the brink of 19th century. In some rooms you can taste the same or a bit modern way of furniture but still very clan and utilizable for your purposes as sleeping and especially bathing in a comfort way speaking of wash basin and other bathroom equipment. The feeling of the bathroom was just extraordinary even if not very spacious. Bed in my room was two beds set together as a kingsize bed which is always limiting a guest up to some point as there is a perceivable split between. Small TV mounted on the wall, small closet still spacious enough, small desk with a minibar inside for which content you must pay extra. No chair, just tabouret leaving you a bit uncomfortable when being a laptop guy, especially with a mouse. The bed is a better solution then. Only feature which may hamper you even from taking a proper nap or sleep are doors of the room, because they are adjacent right to a hall which mean you can, although absorbing the peaks of it, hear a lot when somebody has just arrived by an elevator, if accommodated nearby, or simply moving through the corridor with a luggage. In contrary, when equipped with earplugs also neighbours watching their TV outloud cannot thwart your peaceful sleep. A view from windows is not very eye-cheering due to proximity of other infrastructure, but what can really draw your attention are paintings on the walls. Plenty of them all around the hotel and many are a superb pieces of art or are just delightful and cheering up - two examples for all - watch the painting of Ponte Rialto depicting old Venice back in the times hotel was built or small pictures in the dining room on its right wall reflecting various tableaux. Which brings us to breakfast - tasty and with stuff readily available for you to serve a cappuccino for instance. And that cappuccino is something you will not forget if it is the first time you are experiencing the Italian original. Also try local bakery, Italian types of croissants and rolls might surprise you. Also quality of fruits. More to mention, there is a Cafe Europa belonging to the hotel. Taste some local restaurants in Ferrara too to enjoy the world of differences between European standards of quality of pizzas and pastas and local Italian originals. Only q
Hotel stupendo e personale cortese, ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo! Se dovessimo tornare a Ferrara soggiornerei ancora in questo fantastico hotel

I in this Hotel for a night whilst visiting a friend in hospital. The room was very clean. The guy on reception very friendly and helpful. Beds very hard. No curtains at Windows. Woke up at 6 am !!! No breakfast included. The room with a few tables and chairs. Very dirty !!! The only good thing about this hotel is it is inside the hospital. 65.00 euros for a double room. 😣
We stayed for just one night.Pluses: quiet area, private car park, spacious room, reasonable price.Minuses:no main lamp,I mean chandelier, the Internet was very slow, quite far from the city centre. We were the only guests.
The breakfast was very simple, it consists of a few slices of cheese and ham (no ham on the second day), a few croissants, cakes, biscuits, one type of cereal, a bottle of juice (doesn't taste like fresh juice), and a cup of coffee. They can do with a better breakfast really. I didn't see many guests during my stay. On the two nights I stayed there, I only saw another guest on each morning during breakfast. Only two bowls of cereals and two single tables were prepared for guests' breakfast. I checked out on the last day at 10 am and left my small luggage for a couple of hours. When I collected my luggage before 12, I was desperate for a toilet and asked to use one before dashing to the airport. The lady who manages the B&B said no toilet was available, and all rooms were occupied. I couldn't even use the toilet in the room I just vacated although the next check in won't be until 15.00. I think it is rather peculiar for a B&B not having a toilet for guests use.
