      We chose this hotel & location for our 9th year anniversary. It was a wise choice. We spent a weekend (Sat thru Monday). We were able to book a Superior room (large). It faced the town. 5th-floor level. The room had a very large bathroom with a nice shower. The restaurant offers breakfast and dinner. We a dinner included in our package. It was a 4-course dinner. The breakfast was excellent. I loved the bacon totally! There are some nearby Italian restaurants which we chose to visit as well. There is a wine bar nearby named Barons. We also found a restaurant named Michelangelo (Italian restaurant). Both of these are very near & within walking distance. Friendly staff & great food. We had made a reservation. The reception hotel staff was outstanding. Thank you, Gabriela, Manuela & the rest of the staff. The restaurant staff was great too. Great service. The only negative comment is the hotel parking entrance. It's way too narrow! I joked to my wife that it was because, in the old days (DDR days), these cars were small Trabant's which could enter the parking area perfectly. They have an outside parking area and an underground parking spot that has an elevator to the hotel area. It's convenient if you're carrying lots of luggage. Exiting this underground garage was truly an adventure. Takes a very skillful driver to enter & exit. I couldn't help noticing all the scratches on the walls with faded paint from other cars that weren't lucky. I have a large Mercedes SUV & I was lucky. The SPA Sauna area was another negative. It only had four relaxing chairs. I would recommend that they remodel this area. Get rid of the small shower rooms & perhaps cut down in size the exercise room nearby. Still, we would love to return someday. We loved it here.

      The train station came out on the right hand side and walked for 6 minutes. It was a castle-style building on the side of the city gate. After 2 pm, the hotel had a good restaurant in the basement. The bean sausage soup was only 6 yuan and provided a free bottle of water. To wartburg, you can book at the front desk to get a ticket to the Peak Hotel within 5 minutes of the hotel. You can buy a ticket for 1 hour at 1:30 pm; leave the sights to the parking lot for 25 minutes and have a bus back to the city for 1.7 euros to Karl. Under the square, the terminal is the main train station.

      The hotel is very conveniently located on the edge of the city centre towards Wartburg and Dragon Schlucht and near the Bach House and thus an ideal starting point for any possible exploration. The staff is very friendly, room service works very well. As well, the breakfast buffet was rich and good. There is nothing to defect here. Wi-Fi worked smoothly. The garage is only suitable for normal cars and has only a few places. Great or heavy vehicles should use the costly parking lot in the area of the former brewery. However, we believe that the hotel does not deserve its four stars. For example, there is neither a minibar nor another way to get drinks later in the evening or night. The hotel bar (which is connected to the rental restaurant) closes at 22:00. However, we were friendlyly referred to a very close, good and cheap lounge bar, which saved our group the "angry evening". In the old building, some other criteria are not met and the rooms have already come somewhat into the years (e.g. poorly closed bath door ...) Conclude: friendly, well located, but not all expectations. We can still recommend the house with good conscience. Just think of a star away!

      We were three colleagues at a short dinner stop between Frankfurt and Leipzig in Bel Air Restaurant. Had stayed here too. Very friendly reception and service. Covered tables expect one. The fabric serviettes would better meet the demand of the restaurant than the simple paper serviettes. There is saving at the wrong place. Bovine roulade with blue herb and sticks for € 19.50 - was good and ordinary. Unfortunately, the shops cannot convince it. They made the impression of the finished product. And that in the country of the shop!!! At 19,50€ I wish to have fresh self-made shops. Otherwise a recommendable restaurant. Thanks to the very friendly lady that served us and the prima service I give very good. Reduces to food and price rather satisfactory. Also because of lack of material supplies, which would be very good to the claim and the environment as already written.
